A Dogged Life!

A little dog has come to rest
In corner of the porch awhile;
With famished looks, it whines a bit,
And looks as if unfed for days!

This summer’s heat is excessive;
Water shortage exists for all;
The birds and beasts show sunken frames;
The air is pretty sultry, hot!

The night is rent with screams of dogs;
The new-comer was bit by rest;
The intruder is packed off fast,
With broken bones and bleeding skin!

The plight of street-dogs is so bad;
But what about a person lost?
I wonder how the world treats those
Who have no home or food or friends!

The plight of people in war-zones
Is pitiable and horrendous;
Why no one thinks of children hurt
Or dead, by bullets in conflicts?

So many die in wars across
The world that does not care for lives!
And many more are killed in wombs
Of human beings by habit!

Couldn’t people stop such senseless deaths?
Won’t sense afill human hearts, minds?
They brag of saving few rare lives,
And kill in myriads innocents!

And terrorists have come to spray
Their bullets upon common man;
Shame on the way this world goes on!
There is no place for those unborn!

Terror-struck?

When terror strikes your very doors,
Unleashing deaths like ‘bolts from blue’,
And taking all by surprise too,
Just ask yourself why this happens?

When terror struck your neighbor’s doors,
And you defended militants,
Not bringing them to justice fast –
God measures you in like measure?

No sane of hearts will terrorize!
No human beings good will kill;
No hate-less souls can kill by scores;
All those on earth must love brethren.

Death is the same that comes to all;
Death is tragic when premature;
Death of children is heinous crime;
Just evil minds car-bomb brothers!

Terrorists cause panic, chaos;
Terrorists spread fear through bullets;
Terrorists gain, when we divide;
No God will support evil-minds!

Let world unite to fight terror!
Let none protect a terrorist;
Let lives of citizens be safe;
Let’s value lives across the globe!

Why Man (Woman) , Why?

When ruthless crocodiles take care
Of their young ones with love,
By giving them a free lift,
Within their mouths to lake,
Why do some human beings
Kill their unborn offspring
That grows within the womb?

When birds can feed their young ones
By regurgitating
Food, brought across some miles,
Appeasing their hunger,
Why shouldn’t all human beings
Stop giving lame excuses
And rear all children God-given?

When beasts bring forth their progeny
With duty, love and harmony,
And rear them all with care untold,
Why do some human beings
Make their hearts and minds so cold,
And murder unborn babies,
Waiting to be born into
The world, Almighty-made?

When beasts know that ‘heterosex’
Is one natural, God-made,
To procreate, participate
In Maker’s plan, pre-set,
Why do a few men prefer same sex,
A perversion that
Can’t ever procreate?

Abortion Revisited

The Sculptor makes each masterpiece,
With equal labor, love and care;
But human beings murder own,
Unlike the beasts, who know not God.

While many yearn for just one child,
And families on earth vanish,
As God denies the gift of child:
Yet, those with children kill offspring?

The Maker makes some wombs sterile;
The Maker makes some, more fertile;
What ruthless hearts dare murder babes-
That bear semblance to God Himself!

Don’t expect mercy from the Lord,
Who loves all creatures, great and small;
He gave man freedom and free will:
That is abused by earthlings still.

God hears the pleas of unborn babes,
(Who wish to see the world, God made)
All murdered by their own parents-
A treachery, deserving hell.

Behold the unborn’s curse shall bring
Unwanted woes and suffering,
That punishes generations,
However mighty are nations.

No species kill their very own!
All babies have freedom to live;
No human being kills by right,
Another in the human race.

Abortion is a heinous crime;
Procured abortion is a Sin;
All lives are lives in utero;
No one has right to abortion.

The baby in the womb has rights;
A life that’s formed by God in womb,
Has right to exist after birth!
To God, all lives are truly same!

Show me some beasts that kill offspring!
Don’t they struggle to rear their young?
Why human beings turn ‘beast-like,
When God is merciful to them?

The unborn child needs dignity;
Unwanted babies are God’s gems;
If you can’t spare your baby’s life,
God’s rod befalls you like a knife!

Children’s Day,2009

Our children are the gift from God;
You spoil the child by sparing rod;
The priceless wealth from Heav’n above,
That are being aborted now!

Children must be brought up with care;
They have the right to food and air;
Yet, freedom is seldom given;
To begging alms, some are driven!

Children need to learn and to play;
God dwells in them, some always say;
No home is complete without them;
They’re matrimony’s diadem!

How some struggle to have one child!
Yet some rear them like beasts in wild;
The future of the world depends
On healthy children’s dividends!

But why are children ignored much?
Denied are they love, human touch;
Their lives are lost in umpteen ways;
World’s children pass such sadder days!

O world, wake up from your slumber!
Children are bigger in number;
The health of nations is their health;
World’s children are the planet’s wealth!

Let’s make the world a better place;
Let children wear a smile on face;
Let parents rear them with due care;
Without good children, none can fare!

Abortions Isn’t Health-care

Must one kill children healthy, hale,
If contraceptives were to fail?
Must parents murder children own,
And make the Maker Himself frown?

You need not protect unborn’s health,
But stop the gruesome killings stealth!
No human heart with humaneness
Could kill one’s offspring but caress.

The money wasted is so much;
The world shouldn’t lose its human touch;
This world belongs to unborn too!
Let unborn live like how you do.

Man does not live by bread alone,
But by the words uttered by God;
Don’t force the God of life to moan,
Inviting wrath that turns His rod!

When love of God has given life,
He’ll certainly not give more strife.
No man predicts the things to come,
Life’s woes, like joys, we must welcome.

Life can’t become a paradise
By families cut short in size;
Blessings from God decides success;
Children are living gifts precious!

Don’t kill your unborn children please;
Let fears of rearing in you cease;
Children are human resources;
Rose-plant must have many roses!

Why make the human wombs mere tombs,
When money’s poured to see the moon?
Innocent blood that’s spilt in wombs
Could make the nations accursed soon.

‘Let unborn children live, like you and me! ’

The World Needs Peace, Not Through Wars!

What loss of lives and destruction!
Can lives all lost ever return?
How many more will have to die?
Can one man’s death bring back lives lost?
What pollution, a war can add!

Let Cats who declare wars on mice,
Take the blame and pay the price!
War is a gambling game like dice;
War is a futile exercise.

One cannot fight wars with mere knives;
War is a waste of human lives;
Alas, will nations realize
That keeping peace is always wise?

Wars can begin without a cause;
The world can’t have a single boss!
One nation can’t stifle the rest,
Or try to be always the best.

The world body must give OK!
The world must say to wars, all ‘nay’;
For lasting peace, war isn’t the way!
The cost of wars, who will repay?

The world must find out other ways,
Avoiding wars in future days;
Each nation must unmask its face,
And set on peace, its gaze always!

Wars spread terror;
Wars cause horror;
Wars kill persons;
Wars maim people;
Wars pollute air;
Wars contaminate soil;
Wars destroy buildings;
Wars ravage cities;
Wars ruin countries;
Wars cause hatred;
Wars are expensive;

A difficult place to live in;
Don’t waste money on futile wars.

Love converts foes;
Love leads to dialogue;
Love spreads brotherhood;
Love brings lasting peace;

Love is the key to human problems;
Love rules the universe;
Love leads to heaven;
Stop the wars and love your brethren;
Science should improve man’s plight;

Fight diseases, poverty, and illiteracy;
Leaders should give up their ego;
The world should be free of fear;
Peaceful co-existence should bring all near;
Make the earth more habitable for all.

Terrorist Strikes!

Why fell the trees laden with fruits?
Why cut the saplings ‘fore they grow?
Why mow down fields ‘fore harvest-time?
Why bull-doze crowds in market-squares?
Why hold to ransom by-standers?
Why spray bullets on school-children?
Why slit the throats with arms, legs tied?
Why bomb worshipping places rife?
Why make widows and orphan souls?
Why kill yourselves and others too?

The world cannot remain mute spectator;
The world will go on;
The world must go on;
The world will go on, no matter
How terrorists strike.

A bunch of hoodlums,
A group of fanatics,
A ring of hard-core terrorists
And human beings with evil designs
Can’t be allowed to spread fear,
In Mankind’s Heart for long.

With cause unknown,
Methods unjust,
Ev’n God won’t help,
Nor rest of world
Ever give in!

No matter what they do,
All world affairs will continue;
With newer anti-terrorist resolve
And iron-fisted measures,
Steps will be taken to combat them.
The weed of terrorism
Will be unearthed by its roots entire
When the world’s nations unite-
By People’s Will.

How canst a few criminals
Meant for the Fire-pit,
Destroy the peace on earth?
Ev’n God does not love them,
For their hands and hearts are stained
By blood of innocent lives!

And what do terrorists seek?
- The blood and lives of the common man and the meek!
By acts of cowardice much,
They want ‘justice, love and human touch! ’
Oh, won’t their ruthlessness ever abate?
They maim the unarmed; slit the human throats like sheep!
Their murders most foul, unjustified,
And heinous crimes,
The world can’t forgive, forget.

Let ‘lions’ challenge other Lions
And not sheep!
The Good Shepherd is omnipresent
And watches ov’r his belov’d sheep,
With His staff!

Terrorists,
Your tribes will cease too soon;
The menace will forev’r be rid;
The world will be turned safe again!
The world will find a solution
That’s permanent.

Written in loving memory of all those killed
And wounded by terrorist attacks.

Embryonic Homicide

Life is same, no matter young or old;
Life is precious, more than silver, gold;
Life isn’t commodity that is sold;
Life’s from God, not from this nasty world!

Alike is life in children and adults;
Alike is life ‘in utero’, ‘ex womb’;
Alike is life of born and that unborn;
All human lives are equal before God.

All human beings are in God’s semblance;
Each body gets a soul that everlasts;
The love of God is shown to all creatures;
The Life-Giver alone can take back life!

The Embryo has life that’s God-destined;
The Embryo was formed by love of God;
The Embryo must grow by divine Word;
The Embryo has soul like anyone!

Why kill the embryo for its small parts?
Why destroy one life to save another?
Why treat the embryo with great disdain?
Why murder lives in womb for sake of born?

The embryo is healthy, not diseased;
The embryo is living, not deceased;
The embryo is child, awaiting birth;
The embryo is human too and worth!

No beast kills babies that are still unborn;
The world demands kindness to animals;
Why not protect the human lives unborn?
Preserve the dignity of life in womb!

Could God watch human lives desecrated?
Would God spare merciless human beings?
The embryonic life is life as well;
All ruthless murderers shall land in hell!

Dogged Days

A country-dog has chanced to find
A plantain-leaf with left-o’er food;
Oh, what a stroke of luck this day!
It rolls over the ground with joy
And rips the packet open fast.

Some bits of chicken-bones with flesh
Amidst some biriyani rice –
That smells quite good but could be stale,
Yet tempting to the dog’s taste-buds!

The food lies scattered on the ground
With mud and pebbles, paper too;
A hungry dog is blind to these,
And eats the food in hurried way.

God only knows what things have slipped
Past throat, along with food it took;
Its hunger-pangs abated now,
The dog basks in the sun and sleeps!

But death could come soon anytime;
Just lucky, ’tis alive today!

Think of the human beings too,
Who lead a dogged-life these days –
Without a proper meal a day
Or clothes to wear or place to rest!

The God of love who made us all
Is watching how we treat brethren;
We talk so big but do little
To help the most unfortunate souls.

No land can call itself blessed;
No people can call themselves great,
While famished, ravished souls exist,
And people live in slums like dogs!

God Abhors Murder

‘Thou shalt not kill! ’
–Outside the womb or inside it.
The life-Giver can always take;
The life-rearer dare never kill!

Life is God-given most precious wealth on earth;
No human being shalt take life or abet,
Except the Giver in His time by right!

Pro-life’s the way, the world goes on;
Pro-life’s the only way, we can exist;
Pro-life’s meant for all ages, sex;
Pro-life’s patron is God himself!

Do not provoke God’s wrath through murders foul;
Do not invoke His anger by killing;
Do not annul the blessings pre-destined,
By murdering the unborn in the womb!

Shame on a society that kills its own!
Accursed be leaders according license;
When saving lives is health-care’s main ethics,
Abortion, mercy-killing have no place!

The lives we try to save are scarce;
The ones we kill are so many;
More lives perish when humans err!
Like doctors, mothers too shan’t kill!

Why pluck the buds that aren’t blossomed?
Why destroy trees are quite old?
The elderly now tend to kids,
But children don’t want them old-aged!

Should Human Beings Abort?

Even the beasts that roam the streets
Stay protected by society!
The luckier ones, tasty food greets,
As home inmates shower pity!

Yet, human children seldom find
A home within the human womb;
Life willed by God, must some rescind,
And kill the unborn by aplomb?

All human lives are equal made
By God, the Omnipotent One;
The murders in the womb can’t fade:
By parent’s choice, God’s work’s undone!

No man would seed a fertile soil,
Destroying crops when sprout, seedlings?
Such frenzied acts make God’s blood boil –
What treachery by ‘sane’ earthlings!

The tortured cries of unborn seek
Revenge by God, when parents kill;
The blood of human lambs spilt, weak
A mighty lake in size could fill!

The cemetery of unborn lives
Grows bigger than all those who die!
Should human love become like knives,
And kill their little neighbors nigh?

Within the womb, the tiny tot
Destined as future offspring stays;
But men / women empty the cot,
And cut life’s thread in umpteen ways!

Dignity of Human Life

A bunch of leaves upon a guava tree,
Remained non-growing, ever since its birth,
Without producing flowers, fruits or seeds –
Result from environs or its own genes!

A rare phenomenon my eyes could see;
A sad situation for a branch to be,
Reminding of freak babies born, may be,
A fault of Nature or its parents, see!

To hear of babies in millions unborn,
And killed by parents while within the womb,
Is sadder still and gruesome holocaust,
That’s happening today in modern world!

Oh, what a shameful society, we are,
To kill our healthy children God-given!
And live as ‘gay’ to do unnatural sex,
And satisfy a lust that is big sin.

No living God can bear such heinous crimes,
And see the lives He permitted, destroyed;
Accursed are human beings, leaders who
Deny the dignity of human life!

Man, Thou Shalt Not Kill!

Each human child by God is made
In His image own, with love, care;
To take a life is God-forbade,
No human being shall then dare!

Each human child is called by name,
While growing in the womb by God;
To murder is a sin and shame
Inviting Maker’s just rod!

The law of lands may change with time,
But lives God-made must stay untouched;
To kill is both a sin and crime,
And cannot be ignored or hushed!

The curse of God shall be upon
The man/ woman who kill the child;
The pleas of revenge of unborn
Will bring a punishment, not mild!

To urge someone to kill is just
The work of Satan with much plan;
Such human beings are accursed:
Let all know this – man or woman!

So, spare the life within the womb;
Let every life see world God-made;
The place of birth can’t turn a tomb;
Without blooming, no bud may fade!

On Terrorists

Why kill the persons in the streets?
Why maim the innocent children?
Why bomb schools, temples and cities?
Why destroy lives and property?

Why make the world more insecure?
Why spread ‘fear psychosis’ ’midst men?
Why blame others for your own faults?
Why gain the curse fellowmen?

Why kidnap persons aimlessly?
Why ravish people senselessly?
Why murder people ruthlessly?
Why invite wrath of Almighty?

The brave fight soldiers uniformed;
The valiant harm not citizens;

Sonnet: Country-Dogs but…

Who says that country-dogs are unworthy,
And dogs that roam the streets are to be shot?
So, people use the term in sense filthy;
But Dogs or Dogs where-ever from they’re brought.

The Dogs I see are sensible enough,
And keep their bodies clean in ways they can;
But human beings to them appear rough;
By looking once, they know the kind of man!

And some have excellent memory also,
And remember your kindness for long years;
When strangers come at nights, barking they do;
Ev’n children need not have any fears.

They scour the land and become prey to snakes;
And some are dead, sometimes in nearby lakes.

Why Fight Terrorism?

No nation can try to be both
A haven to terrorists and
A heaven to its citizens!

Nations mustn’t use the terrorists
To fight a proxy war for them
With neighbors over all disputes!

‘Violence begets violence! ’ ’Tis told.
Mere wars can’t usher peace on earth;
Love of brethren must rule all hearts!

The terrorists whom you support
Could ruin your own country too!
Root out terrorism in truth!

Terrorists are mere insane men!
They’re distraught, dissatisfied ones,
Who kill ruthlessly and get killed!

The bomb-culture and abductions
Must be fought relentlessly to
Free the world for peaceful men!

Unite against the terrorists!
Religion shouldn’t slacken your move;
The right to life belongs to all!

All terrorists are keen to kill,
And are willing to die as well!

Have Mercy on thy Children, Man!

’Tis only man who kills his own
offsprings while in their mother’s womb;
And turns his human heart to stone,
and sanctity of womb to tomb!

The womb is now a slaughter-house!
The child can’t see the light of day;
The blame doesn’t go to either spouse;
The unborn children have no say!

What evil heart dares bring piecemeal
The little ‘homo sapiens’,
Forgetting it can sense and feel,
And lies in womb without defence!

The life within the womb hasn’t rights;
Parents decide the unborn’s fate;
No one will change the poor child’s plight;
Millions have died this way till date!

What cruel gadgets harm the child,
Dismembering it while alive!
Such things aren’t done by beasts in wild,
Freedom to live, can man deprive?

When man can kill his own like this,
What wrath can fill the heart of God!
Will Nature not deny him bliss,
And give him on earth stern a rod?

Man, have a heart for little ones;
Life is life in the tiniest ant!
If you pile corpses in the tons,
No living God will hear your chant.

All human lives are sacred most;
Man can’t kill babies and then boast;
Such murders will become a ghost,
And haunt him life-time, turning worst!

The God who allows life to start
Cannot forgive the man who kills,
For flimsy reasons without heart by
In ruthless ways and ev’n pills!

Oh, stop these senseless killings, man!
Lest scourge of God fall upon you!
Do good and increase your life-span;
Let evil thoughts not woo you through!

The Elderly These Days!

The younger birds have flown off far away!
Their parents aged are left alone today;
The nest looks empty, silent, everyday;
O Lord, show us your way- they pray!

Who cares who cares for elderly these days?
All children seem busy in their own ways;
Mere solitude is what the world repays;
Oh, what a blot on modern human race!

What love was shown by parents in years past!
They look now weary, dazed, with eyes downcast;
They live in penury and sickness fast;
’Tis years, their near and dear ones saw them last!

Cannot all children understand their plight?
Neglecting elderly is never right;
God sees their bloody tears when children fight;
The elderly need food, comfort, care, sight!

Our parents kept us warm when we were cold;
All children have a duty to ones old;
The elderly need young shoulders to hold;
Their virtuous deeds are worth more than all gold!

While people living in the rocket age
Corner people walking miles to miles for one day survive
Corner people surprising whenever a plane is flying
While people thinking about living on other planets
Corner people crying to get a four feet square area
Corner people watering their blood for a four feet squares area
While people thinking about homosexual marriage
Corner people giving their lives for saving their children
Corner people growing never ever seeing their parents
While people thinking about which food is the best in the world
Corner people running thousand miles to get a few rice
Corner people dying lack of food and water
While people thinking about legalization of prostitution
Corner people not knowing what is the law
Corner people never seeing decided by a just justice
Corner people are not people!
