‘Happy Marriage Anniversary! ’

Full seventeen years have rolled off now
Since marriage; only God knows ‘how? ’
We may have had our years of strife;
But on the whole, ‘twas nice a life!

Our children are our wealth;
The Scripture gives us health
Of body, mind, heart, soul,
Till we fulfill our role.

The morrow seems so good;
So is our spiritual mood;
God cares and us provides;
Our future, He decides.

Let worry, never us worry;
Our failures past, we must bury;
For sins, let’s say to God. ‘Sorry! ’
En Road to Heaven, let’s hurry!

A Special Poem to My Dear Wife (on Valentine’s Day,2010)

For twenty years, you’ve been my wife;
By now, you are almost my life!
You seem more precious than my wealth;
You are my mind’s and body’s health!

Life’s road, we’d traveled was quite rough;
Denied, we’ve been, a heart laugh;
Nevertheless, it was quite good;
The test of time, our marriage stood!

Our dreams are coming true, my dear;
With God, our side, we need not fear;
With ensuing, quite good, a clime,
We surely can make up lost time!

The future looks so rosy, sure;
Life’s travail will receive a cure;
Let worry not disturb our cheer;
Let confidence work out like beer.

Our ‘success days’ are very nigh;
To ‘failure years’, let’s say, ‘Good-bye! ’
Let’s cheer up, baby, dance and wine;
I am your one true valentine!

Let’s leave our world of woes behind;
By bonds of love in life, we bind;
The future looks indeed so bright;
Let us renew our love tonight.

Today is also, my birthday;
World’s people make merry, this day;
This is the day for all to say,
With kisses, hugs, ‘I love you! ’ Aye.

Fondly dedicated to my beloved wife, Mercy,
On Valentine’s Day, my birthday.

What is Lent?

Lent’s a special soul-time, God-lent!
Fervent prayers should rent the air to heaven;
Meant is Lent to mend and make amends in spiritual life;
Repent, empty your sins pent up;
Spent life should make way for an improved one.

Ask God’s forgiveness for all sins to the very last;
Control your mind and body through more fast;
Charity must become your life-ship’s main mast!
Bury the iniquities and life’s short-falls of the past;
Enrich your soul with grace of God vast!

Gain victory in your spiritual war;
Heal the soul’s sinful scar;
Prepare for heaven that’s not afar.

Happy Marriage Anniversary, Dear Spouse!

Nineteen years of married life,
Despite many kinds of strife,
And problems almost so rife –
Yet, happy husband and his wife!

The key to success is hard-work,
Good understanding ’tween spouses,
And loving, obeying children –
A boon to marriage upon earth.

With God as guide, always beside,
And blessings coming from heaven,
Years pass peacefully, very fast –
The morrow can’t be worrisome!

The difference is in each one’s hands;
It doesn’t require magic wands;
A marriage between man, woman
Is always made by heaven’s nod!

Just put your faith in mighty God,
And do your duty despite odds;
Go by your conscience without pause;
Our earthly life has divine cause!

As I Lay

As I lay there dying
You are somewhere not crying
As you know not where I am.
I ask the Lord to forgive you
Then I ask him my soul to soothe
Finally his glory I do understand.
I think back when we had met
I was full of happiness and no regret
But that was so many years ago.
But then you forgot what I did for love
Not for him or her, but only for us
And the love in my heart that once did flow.

As I lay there bleeding
You are nowhere near not weeping
And how happy I am just for you.
I fought this battle now I’m all alone
Your sins now you must atone
As for me there is nothing else I can do.
I take a walk inside my mind
Once again to a different time
When I wore a smile on my face and heart.
Again your actions come to my brain
As I remember them all once again
How I wish from life I could quickly depart.

As I lay there all alone
Knowing everywhere you go you are known
From the lies and sin that you have done.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath
As though its my last, it I excitably accept
As I wish and hope to see another sun.
But I still see and think about you
As I worry myself with the evils you did do
As I lay there all alone just sighing.
I want to enjoy my last hours on this earth
Before they bury me in the cold, cold dirt
Now I end up with you in my mind denying.

As I lay there with my heart slowly beating
I feel my life from me is fleeting
Slowly I take in my very last breadth.
I think of not the future put the past
How I stood sturdy and steadfast
And how in life I had just one regret.

I close my eyes for the very last time
No more writing poetry or reading a rhyme
As I fall in forever sleep in my bed.
Another day it will come and go
And about me one thing you will never know
That somewhere, I now lay dead.

Good To Feel

It is always good to feel nice
Over full of nice food stuffs with rice
It gives good smell when nicely arranged
Now only good test to be observed and managed

These are all external feelings
When it comes to real happening!
It turns out to be unpleasant
When it seems not ideal and important

There are many ways to feel happy
Only positive mind can speak it without worry
One needs to remain in cheerful mood
As it is not always the question of good food

Food can provide good nourishment
Body can be kept in fit condition with nice movements
But what about inner conscience and its concern
It can’t be kept quiet with possible wait of turn

You can go tough with the situation
You can be very rough when time comes for evaluation
You have to be committed with certain aspects
As that may only guarantee you some respect

It is said one need not worry about whole world
At any time they may show you wall and turn cold
At such time you can come out well and act as very bold
You respond to soul and see it is not bartered or sold

The key lies with us with all the options
We must be capable of its retention
Nothing can be snatched if you are firm
Only you must stick to belief and confirm

Forms of Wealth

To money is attributed wealth
But the open truth of wealth
Is, It is not the only kind of wealth—
There are also other forms of wealth!

Good health is the best form of wealth
Forging rich links in relationships is wealth
Spontaneous love for all life forms is wealth
To have enthusiasm in life is wealth.

Acquiring life-long learning is wealth
Experience and wisdom in life is wealth
Meeting new people is also wealth
Visiting new places too is authentic wealth.

The quest to explore something is wealth
To have a positive mind-set is wealth
Existence of deep internal peace is wealth
Early morning waking up with joy is wealth.

Possessing high self-respect is wealth
Having strong spiritual connection is wealth
There exist so many types of wealth
Constitute all these and you're with full wealth!

My Precious

can't hold you down
can I be you
there's nothing I can do
a slave to your hands

climb up above
your precious time
don't worry your time
don't hurry your mind

where did you go
where did you hide
all I can do
is watch you pass by

climb up above
your precious time
don't worry your time
don't hurry your mind

everytime I try to take it back
I know I don't wanna live like that
I'll wait for tomorrow
too tired to go the other way
too late to wait another day
I'm going on

climb up above
your precious time
don't worry your time
don't hurry your mind

climb up above
your precious time
don't worry your time
don't hurry your mind

Don’t Worry (Matthew 6: 24-34)

Don’t worry about your life
About what will you eat and drink
About your body
About what will you wear
Isn’t it obvious that life is more important than food?
And body is more important than cloth?
Why worry when it doesn’t add an inch in your life span
If you have a time to worry
Use it to relieve one by one of your worry
Remember what is important for you
So you won’t waste your time and lose it
Trust your worry to God
If He dresses up the grass in the field
Fate to be there today and burnt tomorrow
He will also look after you
Even you are failed yesterday and down in sorrow
Don’t worry and say
What will we drink?
What will we eat?
What will we wear?
Don’t worry about tomorrow
It will be a countless end
Because tomorrow has its own worry
A day’s worry is enough for a day

My Yoke

Bound by my faults;
Yoked to my past;
Tied to my problems;
Chained by my sins;
This is the way,
I spend each day;
And life goes on,
Since I was born!

My yoke pulls me down;
My heart feels so torn;
My feet stagger too;
My duties, I can’t do;
Devils love to see
Me never, ever free;
With mind in despair,
My body cannot bear!

Yet, I must break my yoke;
I must free my chains;
I must walk upright;
I must walk in the light;
The Holy Spirit
Can make me fit;
I can overcome
Whatev’r temptations come.

Why must I worry?
Why must I hurry?
The past, let me bury;
God, I am sorry;
Lord, keep me steadfast;
Let me not be aghast;
My troubles cannot last;
Soon, they’ll be things of past!

When God’s with me,
He makes me free;
My yoke feels light;
My life is bright;
My strength returns;
For God love burns;
All things are fine;
When God is mine!

Worry

Friend worry is just Satan’s ploy, to rob you of your God given joy.
He may say that you have control, as he desires to ruin your soul.
Worry not; a command of The Lord, by many simply goes ignored.
Seek first The Kingdom of God, this He says with a confident nod.

Also seek His Righteousness, and He will fill your heart with bliss.
Seek Him first, my dear friend, and all will be yours come the end.
Your concerns to Him just release, and He’ll fill you with His peace.
His Peace that comes from above, comes with His unceasing Love.

Worrying friend will never achieve, what Satan leads you to believe
Not only is worry a waste of time, it robs you of your peace of mind.
Worrying will not add to your life, but fill your heart with undue strife,
Giving your heart unneeded grief, instead of delivering to you relief.

My friend, be not one of little faith, while you anxiously contemplate,
Fearing what may be next in life, which only adds to unneeded strife.
Think upon everything God does, to fill your heart instead with trust,
Christ at work in your daily deeds, is there supplying all your needs.

Look at all the birds up in the air, which feed and live without a care,
And how God clothes all the grass, which only for one season lasts.
The Lord who cares for all the earth, placed on you a special worth,
So friend, worry not about your life, simply give it all to Jesus Christ.

Education

Education I agree to in this country,
It endangers the body with more health,
Rather than doing harm it cares for the body
And the brain, and all that is in the heart.
One imagined the heart to travel knowingly
With the mood of one man and one woman.
Both of them are parents full of knowledge itself,
Concocting problems to solve for their children.
One heart is a provider for education.

Sonnet: Don’t Worry

Don’t you worry for worry could steal life;
Don’t you worry for worrying isn’t of use;
Don’t you worry for each man will have strife;
Don’t you worry for worrying’s gone a fuse.

Life’s problems come like waves upon the sea;
Some are so small while some are mighty waves;
And when they rise, you simply let them be,
Till time returns when calm the sea behaves.

No earthling can face Nature in fury;
All wise persons will stay away from her;
Can you argue with persons when angry?
Wait patiently for a better weather.

More bubbles wink when boiling is water;
On cooling down, ’tis no more a matter.

Fast Cars

My cell is ringing
No ID
I need to know who's calling
My gardens overgrown
I go out on my belly crawling
I got CCTV pornography CNBC
I got the nightly news
To get to know the enemy
All I want is a picture of you
All I want is to get right next to you
All I want is your face in a locket
Picture in my pocket
I take a pill to stop it
I know these fast cars
Won't do me no good
I'm going nowhere where I am it is a lot of fun
They're in the dessert to dismantle an atomic bomb
I want you shadow box
Check the stocks
I'm in detox
Want the lot of what you got
What you got can make this stop
All I want is a picture of you
All I want is to get right next to you
All I want is your face in a locket
Picture in my pocket
I take a pill to stop it
I know these fast cars
Won't do me no good
Don't you worry about your mind
Don't you worry about your mind
Don't you worry about your mind
Don't you worry about your mind
You should worry about the day
That the pain it goes away
You know i miss mine sometimes
There is no fiction that will truely fit the situation
I'm documenting every detail every conversation
Not used 2 talkin 2 somebody in a body
Somebody in a body
Somebody in a body

In Their Marriage Vows

Through bad times and good times they'd remain as man and wife
In their marriage vows they vowed it would be for life
On their wedding day some five years ago
But from each other far apart they did grow
Just five years ago he called her his rose
Now divorced and both remarried that's life one must suppose
The bond of love suppose between them not strong
Both their loyalties nowadays to another belong
Their marriage vows the bad times did not survive
'Twas only in good times their love it did thrive
Nowadays when they meet they look the other way
To each other they do not have anything to say
In their eighteen months of marriage there were twelve months of strife
And shattered the vows that were taken for life.

Sonnet: To My Wife

Our marriage comes just once a life-time dear;
Yet, anniversaries could come often;
Our sacred bond must instill love, not fear,
And help us reach our goal, which is Heaven.

Why brood over the future God intends?
’Tis waste of precious time in worrying much;
Why bother when our needs God well attends?
Let’s thank the Lord for his Fatherly touch.

Let’s keep our lives God-centered and proceed;
Avoiding sins, we must perform good deeds;
God will provide whatever things we need;
Let’s not worry if suffering exceeds!

Each Marriage Anniversary must show,
God’s love and help our love on earth to grow!

Malignant Heart

Heart stents and chemotherapy...? !
Now thats a mix of things!
Growing old can be so cold...!
As we never know what tomorrows gonna bring;

Some of our days are filled with fear...
Some are filled with sorrow...
We loose our beloved pets and our health...
And we always worry 'bout tomorrow;

Whats going to come next?
Radiation and even poorer health?
Growing old can be so very cold...
For you're robbed of your physical and spiritual wealth;

This past month has been a teacher-oh yes-it has...
Poor health and loosing a most beloved pet...
But we must soldier on with a fight that is somewhat strong-
But always fearing our final sunset;

Sonnet –Follow God’s way

God has been kind to all of us, we know;
Without His blessings, we can’t be what we are;
All good and bad, to him alone we owe;
He will guide us in the journey of afar.

Despite our problems, things have been quite good;
They will be better in the years to come;
However, we ought not to lose our good mood;
What God does, let’s wholeheartedly welcome.

God has the path chalked out for each of us;
God has a role ear-marked for everyone;
It matters not if we go by car/bus;
Big sins and evil, we must always shun.
God will give us are reprieve on some day;
He wants each soul to come along His way.
