A Tiger from Woods

There was a tiger in the woods
Who was expert in finding his foods

In chasing holes, he was number one
So he would indulged in all kind of funs

Oft he would go alone for hunt
And killed his preys while making grunts

He used to share spoils with tigresses
And would also play with their tresses

The offal he would bring for his wife
Which she ate without complain or strife

One day she caught him sharing his spoils
And her blood suddenly came to a boil

She attacked in rage and tore his flesh
And tiger's wanton life was in mess

He is yet to come out of the woods
And the tigress too is in sombre mood.

IT's THE GOLF BALL OR ME

TIGER TIGER IN THE WOODS

Hit the ball as U should

Ere the Golf Stick skidded

And U in the Woods ended

Tiger Tiger your fame spread far and wide

Many a wallop in joy you with your family cried

Alas your 'misses' your family dread

And many a tear dropp you dead

Tiger Tiger in the Woods the time has come

When Your Wife has given you ultimatum

It's either me or GOLF you choose

And mend your ways or both your loose

'On my terms' if U want the kids and me

Coz I love you so much honey

I am not to touch the GOLF BALL

NOT for LOVE or for MONEY....

Chinese New Year (Tiger Year Living Tiger Life)

When a tiger kills a man
it is called ferocity
without any mercy.
When a man kills a tiger
it is called hunting
in which he takes pride and boasting.
For Chinese people, tiger symbolises luck.
Right! the tiger products bring a big buck.
Chinese people think the tiger year will prosper.
But the tigers will have more suffer.
The number of tiger is dwindling,
they are near extinction.
Leave the Tigers alone in the Wood,
so that they can have many tigresses in good mood.

Tiger in the wood

There is a tiger in the woods
With such an attitude

There is a tiger in the woods
Do not stay out there in the nude

There is a tiger in the woods
Alternating between humble and rude

There is a tiger in the woods
Looking for its prey, so pray
Soon will be injurious what was once good
Ready and steady he sets about to slay
The brave who protrude along his way

There is a tiger in the wood
Thinking about you as food
A known serial killer
Seeking a bestial thriller

There is a tiger in the wood
Whose beautiful stripes, I conclude
Put you off guard. Understood?
Such display, I call the tiger’s interlude.

King Of The Castle

The tiger strolled alone again...
Unloved for all to see...
A lonely king revered by men
And yet no queen had he...
No tigress roared for him to hear,
No tigress caught his eye,
No tigress brought from far to near
To cause a sovereign's sigh...

The tiger strolled a little more...
His heart a heavy weight...
A lonely king who felt so poor
He couldn't celebrate...
No tigress toured his countryside,
No tigress sought his love,
No tigress thought of him with pride,
So was this life enough?

The tiger strolled another day...
With pining in his soul...
A lonely king he'd have to stay,
Maintaining self-control...
But suddenly he roared and roared!
Until God heard him, too!
God sent a tigress to this lord
Who never said, 'Thank You! '

Sumatran Tiger

Sumatran Tiger! Look at you!
So many frowns you've got!
As if you don't know what to do,
So you don't do a lot!
I see you resting all alone,
Pretending that you're fine,
But you don't like it on your own,
You need a Valentine...

I know you're proud, stiff-upperlipped,
But that's bravado, friend!
It's outward show, emotions gripped!
You'll soon go round the bend!
There's some cute tigress all depressed
With frowns as long as yours!
Go get her, tiger! Do your best!
Caress her with those paws!

You're made of flesh and blood! Yes, you!
You lucky so-and-so!
It's time to change your point of view...
It's time for you to go!
Sumatran Tiger! On the shelf,
With dark frowns on your brow...
Get up! It's time to move yourself!
Your courting days start now!

Ode to Karate

He practiced karate with verve
And suddenly sharp pain shot through his nerve
And his heart started to rejoice
Hearing his beloved God’s voice
Saying that he delighted in him the most
For he used the muscle
Which’s function was lost.

Pareidolia- A Way of Perception

A depressed Guy
Was staring at sky,
Abruptly a form popped up
Assembled from
The lonely wandering clouds,
Appeared to him
Weeping inconsolably;
Suddenly, the warm joy welled up from within,
And the same clouds colluded to carve out,
A laughing form.

(Pareidolia is the phenomenon of finding familiar images in random scenes, like faces in clouds or religious icons in root vegetables)

The Huntress

Oh the tantalizing tiger

You make me feel on fire

Why must you be so pretty and aloof

The huntress is just a big goof

The tiger is caught by another

Another, better suited I presume

To capture the tiger and keep as her own

And yet the huntress feels the tiger’s groan

How can it still be, that in the wild there could be

An attraction, to shoot down the prey

In mid-stride, the tiger taunts the huntress

The huntress stares yet shows not the emotion

The want, the craving of the tiger’s gaze

To catch a vibe would be all she would need

Yet, the huntress knows there will be defeat

The tigress triumphs and trumps them all

The heart of her tiger is stronger than the fall

It’s not for one to know nor assume

Yet obsession seems to loom

Like the freak, the huntress merely stumbles.

Falling and hitting hard she’s now humbled.

Tiger, Tiger

Tiger one to tiger two
Tiger one says I love you
Tiger two does not reply
So tiger one, he starts to cry

Tiger two says why you cry?
Tiger one says 'you did not reply'
Tiger two says I need not to
Tiger one says why?

Tiger two says i love you
Tiger one says i love you too
Tiger one says why oh why?
Why didnt you reply?

Tiger two says I love you
I don't have to say it
You know its true
Now you know the reason why
Tiger two did not reply

Tiger one realises why
Tiger two did not reply
So tiger one he starts to smile
And says tiger two is very fine

For tiger two is my dearest babe
Whome I think of everyday
And tiger two I cannot wait
To see your pretty face again

BoysIIMen, Tiger, Buddha and Nazarean-Israelites, Oh My!

Shawn Stockman has been cheating on his wife for the past nine years.
The Nazarean-Israelite was not Tiger Woods, but a former BoysIIMen.
A man's vision of the world,
-when you cite Biblical references that pertains to his life style-
-his wife must be full of anger, mistrust and tears.
Shawn had a view of polygamy, or at least bigamy, having multiple women.
Just as Tiger Woods.
Their respective wives did not know they were not the only ones-
The Sing-Off judge judged a cappella groups, those groups had many partners,
Some of them all female, some of them mixed,
-- and the one group that won, NOTA, was composed of Puerto Rican dudes.
Tiger Woods who is one of the many people who are practicing Buddhists,
- has something in common with Shawn Stockman,
-or for that matter, Eliot Spitzer, Mark Sanford, or John Edwards.
(By the way, Brit Hume has called Tiger Woods to embrace Christianity,
-yet I believe the aforementioned were brought up Christian - most likely)
And the list can go on for an eternity
--in summation of world-wide trysts.
But at far as Shawn's wife is concerned, did he not tell her of his arrangements?
Shawn, the question to you,
Did you lie to your wife, - which caused to break one of TEN COMMANDMENTS?
Did you not recite the vows of marriage to your wife on your wedding day?
I really don't care if you are Buddhist, a so-called Christian or Nazarean-Israelite, Jew,
Muslim or Agnostic or Atheistic,
If you pledge your life to someone and you violate your trust within yourself,
-then you have no to blame but yourself,
-if dare, I may say.

Eye of the Tiger

Tiger, Tiger burning bright
hunts his prey by neon light
Real or bleached, you know the kind
big up front with a sweet behind..

Tiger, tiger, none too bright
Left his cell phone in plain sight
When Elin saw his contact list
She grabbed his driver in her fist.

Four hundred yards straight off the tee
Tiger drives that easily
But when his little wife went clubbing
His face and lawn both took a drubbing

Tiger Tiger burning bright
Doesn’t like the bright spotlight
Yet on his off days he’d resort
To pros who play a different sport

Tiger Tiger made a tape
of Tiger 'eagaling' his date
It came into the hands of 'Vivid'
If they release it he'll be Livid

Tiger, tiger lost Gillette
And Gatorade sent their regrets
Now he’s hawking Trojan’s Wares
and lady Clairol for Blonde hair.

Tiger

Tiger with coat of dissimilar stripes,
When he’s angry, tiger swipes,
Tiger cautious, guarding his lair,
Danger lurking, tiger aware.

Tiger hungry so he hunts,
Facing quarry, tiger confronts.
Tiger waiting, being sly,
Undercover, no tiger espy.

Tiger detects, now he purrs,
Hunger pangs, tiger stirs.
Tiger quick, must now surprise,
Here we have one tiger, wise.

Tiger from his throat he roars,
Stretching out those tiger claws.
Tiger moving, stealthy pelt,
Expiration, by tiger dealt.

Tiger now with belly filled,
Anger passed, one tiger stilled.
Tiger sleeping, with the Pride,
Craving gone, tiger satisfied.

Tiger such a majestic sight,
Near extinction, tiger fight.
Tiger beautiful and fine,
You’re such a leonine feline.

Tiger we must have respect, ,
For your great tiger intellect.

Tiger By The Tail

What a shock it was so surprising
You looked so small and frail
I didnt know what to do
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
People said that you must be joking
You let emotions run away with you
I realized a little too late
I bit off more than I could chew
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
Sometimes you grip it right
And sometimes you fail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
At times life can be so enlightening
But it can turn on you
Lately it gets so complicated i
I dont know what the tiger will do
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
Sometimes you grip it right
And sometimes you fail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail
Sometimes you grip it right
And sometimes you fail
I grabbed the tiger by the tail

Tiger Woods
rarely hits a ball
into the woods

as he continues to
break down racist stereotypes in Japan,
the Augusta Masters
and everywhere else he goes.

Now, Tiger, please stand
up for the right of women golfers
to play everywhere.

(The Augusta Masters did not
invite black players til 1975,
nor allow blacks into the country club
til 1990. The Masters still
does not allow women to play.)

I'm Goona Copy

I’m surely gonna copy,
Be it poem, DVD or floppy,
And win Nobel Prize and trophy.

I will copy poets all
Whether they are big or small
Ya! No one can make me stop
Till I scale a fame’s highest top.

At the beginning of age
When God made men in his own image
He started this “Plagiarist” trend
Which I am not gonna end.

And what is creativity?
If not an ability to hide
a source of theft
with impunity.

When there is nothing
original under the sun,
Why should I copy not
and deprive myself of fun.

So I’ll copy them word by word
be they Pablo, Shakespeare or Wordsworth.
I’ll copy them from morn to evening
And would excel HITESH and Kipling.
Can you prove, they were not plagiarist,
And had not copy from some poet’s list.

You can inform FBI, KGB or CIA,
But I won’t stop my wanton ways.
And I will copy without shame,
Till I earn big name and fame.

I will copy till people start copying me,
And then and then only I will
give up this vice with glee.: -)

Indian Sanctuary

The tiger rested in the sun
Without a single care...
Without the need to hunt or run,
This sense of peace was rare.
The tiger wasted none of this,
It just went with the flow...
Partaking of its share of bliss
And in its afterglow.
The afternoon was on its way,
No danger and no qualm.
No enemies to keep at bay,
No reason for alarm.
The tiger didn't understand
This sudden change of pace,
This Shangri-La, this Wonderland,
This blessing or this grace.
Why question what seemed meant to be?
Why fret when all goes well?
Be thankful for serenity,
Enjoy it for a spell.
The tiger's heart was tranquil, too.
Its rhythm matched the mood.
As if in safety in a zoo
Where Man provides the food.
You could call this a sanctuary,
A dream within a dream...
A pleasant place that's fancy free
Where nothing is extreme...
The tiger thought it Paradise
It knew it couldn't keep...
And so it simply closed its eyes,
Thanked God and went to sleep...

The poem is based on the magnificent painting
by Stephen Gayford called 'Indian Sanctuary'.
