The Moon of Venus
You who are going to Venus:
There is a third man who has waited
for thirty one years.
Waiting is meditating.
He is the greatest Buddha
of us all.
Close to bliss
bask in his closeness.
There is a middle man.
He is waiting.
He is meditating.
Far from close
he is Pluto.
Third man is Venus.
There is one who has long basked.
She is the Moon of Venus.
She loves bold patterns
in two colours.
One is always darker than the other.
There is a first man.
He is not waiting.
He is commentating.
He has one of Moon's bold patterns.
Orange is lighter than green.

Would You Like Orange Juice With That?
Flies ZOOM across the room,
Then with one sneaky snap,
The flies become breakfast
For the Venus flytrap!
YO! The Venus flytrap!
YO! The Venus flytrap!
Another fly must die
And flap its final flap,
Blood and guts for breakfast
For the Venus flytrap!
YO! The Venus flytrap!
YO! The Venus flytrap!
Eats a piece of Fly-Pie
And then he takes a nap!
A nap after breakfast
For the Venus flytrap!
Snappin’ and clappin’
With a ZING and a ZAP!
Flappin’ and nappin’
And yappin’ as we tap
a-rap-rap-rappin’...
YO! The Venus flytrap!

I did not want to write a story about the invasion of Earth, so I had to create a race capable of living nearby, which meant to either on the Moon, on Mars, or on Venus. I picked Venus.

Patterns
Patterns all around you
Patterns everywhere
Patterns of behavior
Sometimes seem unfair
Can you recognize the patterns that you find?
Patterns unfamiliar
Patterns lead you through (to)
Patterns of discovery
Tracing out the clues
Can you recognize the patterns that you find?
Stuck in your mind
In this land where stability is hard to find
You can rearrange the patterns so unkind
Dont bother asking why a pattern never cries
Old patterns never die they just go on and on
Patterns multiplying
Re-direct our view
Endless variations
Make it all seem new

Thirty something, graduate, green eyes, perfect christian lady
Candlelit dinner, slim female figure, sense of humor, extrovert
Where are you where are you where are you
Lets starts as friends, seeking soulmate, long time relationship
choose life, soul sister, hippy chick, for soul brother blues man
Genuine american frog seeks princess
Someone is perfect for you, when mars meets venus
Do you want to bet your life, they're gotta be perfect for you too

Venus Danced
He wrote her a song, his strength gentle and hesitant
In the night sky, their future caught in the moon
Dream catcher patterns, they spiraled together
Painting sunsets, danced creation in innocence
Moonbeams stood guard, tangles of silver
The dew glistening on her heaving shoulders
Vulcan whispered his ancient secrets
Easing her into the dance, lulling her fears
Venus danced, her dark eyes sated
As they swirled through lifetimes of waiting
He had been walking to her from all his pasts
Reaching her side through impossible walls
Warriors of life, they churn love's hollows
They slake their thirst as riddles weave stories
They fly with each other defending dreamscapes
They dance together on mysteries deep and high…

Waiting....
Iwas always waitng,
waiting for dinner to be served
waiting for my daughter to out,
Waiting for the servicing of the car,
waiting for the bus to come,
Waiting for the train to arrive,
waitng for the night sleep,
Waiting for the calls on phone,
Waiting the credit card to be mailed,
Waiting for the ration card,
waiting for renewal of driving licence,
Waiting the daughter to come,
Waiting for good word from the boss,
Waiting in Q for the ATM,
Waiting for the email response,
Waiting for the promotions,
Waiting for daughter's results
Waiting for a praise from my wife,
Waiting for the friends to gather,
Waitnig for a fove star meal,
waitnig for a look from a dame,
Waiting for the loves not reaching,
And waiting for the death at last.

Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can take your hand and stroll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go on the streets and see the people smile.
Give me your hand,
So I could tell you that things will be alright.
The rooms still dark,
But it wont be so long,
And I can take you outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the park and roll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the docks and watch the boats go by.
Come on, love, give me your hand,
And things will be alright.
The rooms still cold,
But it wont be so long,
That we can go outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I could see your hair shining in the air.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can see the sky reflected in your eyes.
Come on, love, dont be depressed,
Things will be alright.
The rooms too low,
But it wont be so long,
That we can be outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise.

Look Back In Anger
You know who I am, he said
The speaker was an angel
He coughed and shook his crumpled wings
Closed his eyes and moved his lips
Its time we should be going
(waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so)
Look back in anger, driven by the night
Till you come
(waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so)
Look back in anger, see it in my eyes
Till you come
No one seemed to hear him
So he leafed through a magazine
And, yawning, rubbed the sleep away
Very sane he seemed to me
(waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so)
Look back in anger, driven by the night
Till you come
(waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so)
Look back in anger, feel it in my voice
Till you come
(waiting so long, ahhh...)
(waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so) (waiting so long, Ive been waiting so, waiting so)
(waiting so long, ahhh...)

Waiting In The Wings
(andy hill/pete sinfield)
I need you like freedom
I feel you like rain
I see you like silver rails across an endless plain
And I know there are moments
You feel as I do
Thats why Im waiting for you
This time around I wont push for an answer
Both of us need to be sure
To be strong
When the moment comes
Ill be your dancer
Ill be your singer
And your song
When your heart is weary
When you want a love with no strings
I will be here waiting
Waiting in the wings
Waiting in the wings
A natural dreamer
A maverick soul
How close can I be to you
And still not lose control?
And as close as the ocean
As near as the sky
As near as the tears I dont cry
Maybe a fool has been drowned in a vision
Hung up to dry in the teeth of the wind
Believing in the truth of your decisions
Thats all there is until the end
When your heart is weary
When you want a love with no strings
I will be here waiting. Ill be waiting
Waiting in the wings
Ill be waiting
Ill be waiting
When your heart is weary
When you want a love with no strings
I will be here waiting
Waiting in the wings
When your heart is weary
When you want a love with no strings
I will be here waiting
Waiting in the wings
When your heart is weary
When you want a love with no strings
I will be here waiting
Waiting in the wings

Flashman
I'm waiting,
Waiting for you to crash,
I'm waiting,
Waiting to see your cash,
Waiting so long,
Waiting over here,
Waiting over there,
Waiting to hear you say,
You'll come back to me!
Waiting for the rush!
You're all flash and no cash,
Don't like your trash,
Gonna see you crash,
I'm waiting,
Waiting on my own,
I'm waiting,
Waiting to hear you groan,
Waiting to get you alone,
Waiting for us to meet,
Waiting to get off the street,
Waiting for my heart,
To skip a beat,
Waiting for the rush!
Tired of all your flash,
Get rid of the trash, and,
Show me your cash,
So where do you go to find a lover?
And where will you find a brother?
Is this the end of the road?
Will you stoop low?
So that I can grow?

Venus & Mars - Reprise
Standing in the hall
Of the great cathedral
Waiting for the transport to come
Starship 21zna9
A good friend of mine
Studies the stars
Venus and mars
Are alright tonight.
Come away on a strange vacation
Holiday hardly begun
Run into a good friend of mine
Sold me her sign
Reach for the stars
Venus and mars
Are alright tonight

New Blue Moon
I dont want nothing
Nothing but you
Am I waiting
Looking for a new blue moon
Im so tired waiting
Waiting for you
Am I waiting
Looking for a new blue moon
So many moons have come and gone
And none of them were blue
So many times the sun came up but
Came up without you, you, ya yoo hoo oh
You wont call me
Call me lonely
Am I waiting
Looking for a new blue moon
So many moons have come and gone
And none of them were blue
So many times the sun came up but it
Came up without you, you, ya yoo hoo oh
Someday when you hold me
Someday you may see
I was waiting
Looking for a new blue moon
I was waiting
Looking for a new blue moon

For Science
There has been a spacecraft sighted
Flying high above the sky
Sirens declare theres one among us from venus
Volunteers, we need volunteers
Soldiers to meet them
Have no fear
Have no fear
You will be killed right away
I will date the girl from venus
Flowers die and so will i
Yes, I will kiss the girl from venus for science
Im so brave
Im so brave
Ill be her love slave
Hes so brave
Hes so brave
Hell be her love slave forever
Yes, I will date the girl from venus
Flowers die and so will i
Yes, I will kiss the girl from venus for science
Lets get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!

Sunset on Sunset
Sunset to our sunsets I never thought
For all day long the moments I longed
You you you why did you go
You you you what should I do
Wanna close the curtains
Wanna close the doors
Wanna bring the darkness
Before the sunset starts
How to stop my heart
Thumping up the beat
Waiting for the hands
Waiting for the hands
No no no no no
Cant close my eyes
Cos I feel the lips
All those evening pecks
You you you why did you go
You you you what should I do
Sunset to our sunsets I never thought
For all day long the moments I longed
Yellow yellow then red
Nah nah nah
Red is green for me
Oh how can I play
Waiting waiting for you
Come and start the game
Oh how long to wait
Oh how long to wait
Wish it is dark
Dark and dark forever
Where sun never shows
So it never sets
Sunset to our sunsets I never thought
For all day long the moments I longed
You you you why did you go
You you you what should I do

All My Life
Is it the way that you feel when Im kissing on you
Or is it the soul I can see in your eyes
The clothes that you wear or the smell of your hair
Or is it the way I cant sleep when youre not there
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Is it the way that you feel deep inside
Or is it the way that I feel so alive
Your star and your flair are beyond compare
Or is it the way that we feel when were on fire
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
Every night, oh Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, oh i, Ive been waiting for you
All my life, Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you
Ive been waiting for you

Still Waiting
All my friends tell me
About the loves theyve had
Cant they see what theyre doing to me?
It makes me feel so bad
cause Im so alone
And brokenhearted
It aint like my life is ended
But more like it never started
The love my friends rap about I keep anticipating
I try so hard but dont you know, my patience is fading away
Still waiting
Im waiting for that love
Still waiting
I wish on every star above
Still waiting
Waiting for the love to come around
Oh, love.
Waiting for the love to come around
People say that Im too young
Too young to fall in love
But they dont know, they really dont know
Thats all that Ive been dreaming of
cause I spend my nights just a-crying
And I spend my days just a-trying
To find that love to call my own
cause Im sick and tired of being alone
Still waiting
Waiting for that love
Still waiting
I wish on every star above
Still waiting
Im waiting for the love to come around.
(waiting for the love) dont you know that Im waiting
(waiting for the love) say..
(waiting for the love) to come around now
I need somebody to hold on to baby
Waiting and waiting, dont you know that im
Still waiting
Im waiting for the love, sugar
Still waiting
If youre out there girl, please come to me
Still waiting
Dont make me cry no more
Still waiting
If youre out there, baby, please come to me
Still waiting
Wishing and wishing for days, baby
Still waiting
If youre out there, girl, please come to me
Still waiting
