To flow or carve? .......Destiny or will?
Through snakey lanes I wander,
Blink my eyes in the dark.
Feel the silence settle on my skin,
And in the distance, hear a dog bark.
Its night I know.
Yet I am surprised,
That the light is nowhere.
It's this darkness I despise.
I glide my bare hands,
Along moist slimy walls.
Trying to find my way out,
Into heavens illuminated halls.
But the farther I walk,
The farther I seem to be.
The hot dank sewage smell,
Tells me, its hell that I see.
I flail my arms,
As far as I can.
Trying to break the vice,
That binds me. drags me to where I began.
While I suffer this turmoil,
A stream of water catches my eye.
I watch it flow on the road,
Accommodating the low and the high.
Slowly hope glimmered,
As I learned from the water,
The more you struggle,
Hells fires get hotter.
Go with the flow.
Pain results from intervention.
Let life show you a way.
Sit back, relax, without tension
The water slithered,
On the uneven dank road.
Unperturbed it made its way.
Even the hard road yielded.
The water eroded it away.
Patience is the key,
The light-house of life.
Perseverance is the tool,
To carve out your life.
I suddenly felt free,
To follow my heart.
The hands stopped flailing.
I had found a place to start.
I followed the water,
Like an obedient student.
Chucked my way of living,
Realized it makes sense to be prudent.
But lo behold! the water too,
Lead me to hell's gate.
For running down the slopes,
Unabated, it reached its fate.
The pure stream drowned,
In the ugly drain.
The water lost its identity.
Its purity got a stain.
I don't want to flow,
On a pre destined way,
Only to discover
It's an end to my day.
I want to carve.
Be a master of my destiny.
I am not as lifeless,
As the water I now pity.
I flex my muscles.
Try to rediscover my course.
And stretch my arms.
Shout for directions till my throats hoarse.
Through snaky lanes I wander,
Blink my eyes in the dark.
Feel the silence settle on my skin.
Yet determined, to make my mark.

Water
water for water is water, thirst made me dried
eyes tears flow water, leaves skin broken
need water, cure my pain smooth my rough
surface makes it clean
pure and perfect water made so bright, all the
day expose heat dried my sweat, in my face
and lips tears seen in the eyes
all day long I seat in my brow, waiting the sun
down to lead me low, hunger and thirst open
my throat, water spelled drops like a dew
wash my warm body as you can see, the limps
legs and the hands would be easy, where ever
in my body, the water comes refreshing to me
slowly, slowly, fell the cool water beneath
my delicate skin, in my buttock where you have
to stay, hold on, I sit you in my dream, my living
water makes me the same
oh! water, please always watered me in each
new day and fell the real me

Looking for Water
Still the leaves are spinning 'round
Take my hand as we go down, and down, and down
Looking for water
Well, our light's gone in a New York minute
Don't know about you, but my heart's not in it
(Looking, looking, looking)
I'm looking for water
I'm looking for water
(Looking, looking, looking)
I can't breathe the air, can't raise a fact
'Cause all we've got left is a beat in the night, and I'm
(Looking for water)
Looking for water
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
Take my hand as we go down, and down
Leave it all behind, nothing could be found
(I'm, looking for water)
I'm looking for water
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
(I, looking for water)
Looking everywhere
(Looking for water)
Looking here and there
(I'm looking for water)
I'm looking for water
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
I can't live in this cage, I can't eat this candy
The edge of the earth to the spin in my head
The look in your eyes and never means never
The dawn's early light, baby, dark is forever
(Looking, looking)
(Looking, looking)
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
I
(Looking for water)
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
I
(Looking for water)
(Looking for water)
(Looking, looking)
I
(Looking for water)
(Looking for watter)
Looking, looking)
I
(Looking for water)
(Looking for watter)
Looking, looking)
I
(Looking for water)

4. Elements – Water
Water an elemental
Water a fundamental
Building block of life
Water of Life
Water of Death
Water in all religions
Water in all living things
Water in all countries
Water also used for barter
No life without water
No rife with water
No respect for water
Willful neglect of water
Water, for cooking
Water, for cleaning
Water, for drinking
Water, for living
Water, for dying
Water is the same
In all languages
Water is the same
To all living beings

Hell Or High Water
Here I am, all alone, been two days since youve been gone
Three a.m., wide awake, yeah Im lonely, and I cant take it
You win a few, you lose a few, but I cant help missing you
Cant sleep at night, aint feelin right, but Im gonna get to you
Chorus:
Come hell or high water - Im gonna love you
Come hell or high water - gonna hold you
Come hell or high water - wrap my arms around you
Come hell or high water
Now youre gone, hurt so bad, feelings I have never had
Been so long since youve been mine, now Im wound in the lost and found
And there you stand, now I know, Im never gonna let you go
Aint foolin around, no, no, gonna make every minute count
Chorus - yeah Im gonna get to you
Gonna love you, hold you, wrap my arms around you
Baby dont doubt it, aint no doubt about it
Im gonna love you - come hell or high water
Gonna hold you - come hell or high water
Wrap my arms around you - come hell or high water - yeah
Come hell or high water - come hell or high water
Come hell or high water - come hell or high water
Come hell or high water - come hell or high water
Come hell or high water - come hell or high water
Yeah!

Grateful Water
Live if you can when the water runs dry.
Once in a decade perhaps, or never in a life
Save your tear so that you won’t have to cry.
Let the water flow and wash away the strife.
Dry yourself with water if any miracle you need.
Let the water run upwards for a change to fancy.
Feed the water well to run through the creed.
Run Water! ! Run! ! Flow in a stream of constancy.
Drop of tears, dew drops, even a single dropp of water.
In course of time can change a thing always for real.
Pool, pond, brook, lake will never stop to utter
The utterance of gratitude, in the way they feel
Sometimes to the greatest source of the sea
Even sometimes to the man’s ungrateful plea.

I Am Ready to Jump
My body trembles;
I am ready to jump,
my entire body moves slowly as I take a few steps back,
I run- my arms feel like lead.
As I reach the edge,
I realize this wasn't so smart.
Now as I fall down, down, down,
through the air, I start to cry.
Salty tears slide up into my hair,
the vast body of water looms ever closer;
should I close my eyes?
Surely when I hit the water
I will die instantly.
Or will I find nothing but frothing water
and agonizing pain?
In an instant, I plunge into the icy water,
I'm not dead, I don't feel any pain.
But something keeps pulling me down,
and so I sink into the icy water.
'I'm not ready to die! ' screams a voice in
the back of my head.
And so I try to swim upward,
moving my arms that feel like lead.
No longer am I in a sea of salt and water,
but of porridge;
thick like mud.
So I stoke harder, faster;
going nowhere.
Exausted with fatigue I look for a shore line,
there is nothing but water.
As far as my eyes can see,
there is nothing but water.
And so I give up,
no more trying.
I fall back into the water;
eyes still open, stinging.
I fade into the depths of the water,
praying silently to my God;
singing my last song,
as I start to drift and nod.

Water
water the world
before anything
else came along
from the water,
i heard record of things
old and new
they unveil them
to me with its
tingling sounds
the piano nature's
hands have played
since creation began
if there is anything
i wish my poem
to flow, it would
be water - in the
stream, river, sea,
waterfall, under the ice,
wherever it is,
water that harbours
a life of its own
and within it
a million lives
- seeps its way
into everybody's heart
it fools all agelbra
master with its agility
the only medium that
can take any shape
any form vapour,
snow and ice
if there is anything
i wish my poem to run
it would be the water
splashing, streaming,
swirling, splitting, spilling,
cornering, dancing down
reader's heart
water, in it are secrets
of news both good and bad
- of the present, of the future -
if you would just let your heart,
soul and mind flow with its rhythm
you could hear it playing out
all the secrets it held since
the beginning of time in the
most delightful tune

The River
In my first sleep
I came to the river
And looked down
Through the clear water -
Only in dream
Water so pure,
Laced and undulant
Lines of flow
On its rocky bed
Water of life
Streaming for ever.
A house was there
Beside the river
And I, arrived,
An expected guest
About to explore
Old gardens and libraries -
But the car was waiting
To drive me away.
One last look
Into that bright stream -
Trout there were
And clear on the bottom
Monster form
Of the great crayfish
That crawls to the moon.
On its rocky bed
Living water
In whorls and ripples
Flowing unbended.
There was the car
To drive me away.
We crossed the river
Of living water -
I might not stay,
But must return
By the road too short
To the waiting day.
In my second dream
Pure I was and free
By the rapid stream,
My crystal house the sky,
The pure crystalline sky.
Into the stream I flung
A bottle of clear glass
That twirled and tossed and spun
In the water's race
Flashing the morning sun.
Down that swift river
I saw it borne away,
My empty crystal form,
Exultant saw it caught
Into the current's spin,
The flashing water's run.

Splash!
Splashing water, Water get,
Shooting jets, Getting wet,
Crystal Clear, Cool Water,
Water, Water, Water matter,
Water's Life, Water let
Living life, Keep alive.
Water, water, we survive.
I Need Water
Scorching hot summer’s day
Devastation struck on our holiday.
Water, water running out
No more water left about.
Where is water?
What to do?
Stressing, thirsty, hungry too.
Need a shower!
Need a drink!
But there is no time to think.
Running, running to the store
“No more water” written on the door.
I need water, but there’s none,
Definitely not having fun.
Feeling dirty!
Feeling sick!
Needing something so basic.
Water, water I need you
Then I’ll be as good as new.
Water, water always there,
Once it’s gone we’re made aware
Wasting water is not right
Now it’s gone I’ve seen the light.
I need water to survive
I’m lucky to be alive!

Rock Me On The Water
Oh people, look around you
The signs are everywhere
Youve left it for somebody other than you
To be the one to care
Youre lost inside your houses
Theres no time to find you now
Your walls are burning and your towers are turning
Im going to leave you here and try to get down to the sea somehow
The road is filled with homeless souls
Every woman, child and man
Who have no idea where they will go
But theyll help you if they can
Now everyone must have some thought
Thats going to pull them through somehow
Well the fires are raging hotter and hotter
But the sisters of the sun are going to rock me on the water now
Rock me on the water
Sister will you soothe my fevered brow
Rock me on the water
Ill get down to the sea somehow
Oh people, look among you
Its there your hope must lie
Theres a sea bird above you
Gliding in one place like jesus in the sky
We all must do the best we can
And then hang on to that gospel plow
When my life is over, Im going to stand before the father
But the sisters of the sun are going to rock me on the water now
Rock me on the water
Sister will you soothe my fevered brow
Rock me on the water, maybe Ill remember
Maybe Ill remember how
Rock me on the water
The wind is with me now
So rock me on the water
Ill get down to the sea somehow

And It Stoned Me
Half a mile from the county fair
And the rain keep pourin' down
Me and Billy standin' there
With a silver half a crown
Hands are full of a fishin' rod
And the tackle on our backs
We just stood there gettin' wet
With our backs against the fence
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Hope it don't rain all day
Chorus:
And it stoned me to my soul
Stoned me just like Jelly Roll
And it stoned me
And it stoned me to my soul
Stoned me just like goin' home
And it stoned me
Then the rain let up and the sun came up
And we were gettin' dry
Almost let a pick-up truck nearly pass us by
So we jumped right in and the driver grinned
And he dropped us up the road
We looked at the swim and we jumped right in
Not to mention fishing poles
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Let it run all over me
Chorus
On the way back home we sang a song
But our throats were getting dry
Then we saw the man from across the road
With the sunshine in his eyes
Well he lived all alone in his own little home
With a great big gallon jar
There were bottles too, one for me and you
And he said Hey! There you are
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Oh, the water
Get it myself from the mountain stream
Chorus

Washed Away
It's hard to tell
what exactly is streaking my face
the water pouring over me
or the water leaving my eyes
Trying to use the scolding hot water
use it to wash away everything
the world
the pain
The warm water
running over me
then to the drain
taking nothing with it
The cool water
flowing into the drain
none of the pain circling with it
no matter how much I want it to
The cold water
making me shiver
numbing me
inside and out
Ice cold water
freezing my veins
finally ridding me of pain
leaving nothing
The only sign of life
is the slight shiver
I get when I think of what happen
when I think of her.

Come Hell Or High Water
Come hell or high water
I will cross the vast expanse of water
Throw anything at me I will dodge it out
Come here hell and I'll make you heaven
Come here high water I'll calm you down.
Let's see who'll beat whom and I'll call you out
Come hell or high water
Let's see what you can do
Let's see how I destroy you
You are no better than a storm
But I am no worse than the red storm on Jupiter too
Let's see how I wipe you out and Make a speck of you
Come hell or high water.
The second I feel the rocking of my ship
I'll take my ship out of you
Then see who's who and I'll defeat you
Come hell or high water
The second I see a ray of light
I'll know your dead
Then Let's see who wins the challenge
The sailor me or just a speck like you!

Cold water
Water is cold water is wet,
Water is cold and can be a big mess...
Water is a teer dropp running down your cheek,
Water is the stuff that makes you feel weak...
Water can be good if you feel down,
Water can be bad if you don't come back around...
Water is a thing that can make you feel cold,
Water is a thing that can make you be bold...
Water is a cold, cold thing,
Everyone has water running through them...

In the Silent Night
So brightly upon the water
Does that full moon glow
After a day that couldn't get hotter
It's a lovely night, I suppose
The water around me is so still
In which I seem to become a part of it
Oh, the lonliness I feel
On this quiet night
I do admit
I float on my back to watch the sky
I smile because you're under here, too
Still, it's a hot night in July
And another night remembering you
The water soothes my hot skin
God, draw me towards the heavens with might!
I'm covered in water up to my chin
Crying in the silent night

Pure Life
Where is your life going?
Is your water in a waterfall, dropping, and getting worse?
Or is it filling your glass, overflowing, and getting better?
Is your water still there?
Not evaporating?
Being dried up by the sun?
Are you losing time?
Do you watch how your water flows?
Water is pure and signifies life.
How is your life?
Or are you sad, with your water raining tears?
Is your water warm or cold?
Is your water steam or ice?
Is your soul cold or warm?
I hope your water is overflowing like a fountain with joy.
Not everyone's water has to be evaporating.
Remember to always watch where lifes heading.
Because maybe your water will mix and lives will intertwine.
Be with that person forever.
