Jogging on the outer banks
Where the many tidal currents flank
Golden sandy beaches in their nakedness
Soaking in their serene softness
On the beach I found a message in a bottle
Addressed to Katherine from Gareth's life's throttle
True love which is pristine pure
For me the tonic the optimum heart's cure
True love only finds you once in a lifetime
Some people wait for true love for a lifetime
Others die for the pursuit of true love
Where as I was rejuvenated by a bottle in a cove
His love for her was passionate yet simple
Carrying the torch for a women an angel in a wimple
She was his compass in life's daily conundrums
Even when the sails were shattered in the ocean's doldrums
For I was smitten by two people's capacity to love
I sought Gareth with the possibility of a treasure trove
Of a man who's love was unconditional yet real
Can I be a Katherine and find my own true north for real
He was all the letter could unravel and even more
A simple man from the outer banks sea shore
A cottage on the ocean with the paitre beside
Living a boat restorer's life beach by his side
Love blossomed as sparks scattered the spheres
But love's expiry date manifested with the downpour of tears
As when love was blooming between two middle aged adults
The winds brought in the unforgiving death cults
It was a tragedy that unfolded in the oceans
As he was leaving behind every trace of Katherine and her tractions
Fate intervened as another's boat capsized
For Gareth to be an unsung hero for the salvage of lives prized
A hero lives a life that captivates one to the masses
A hero is immortalized in novels and canvasses
A hero came in to my life even for the briefest of time
Oh why god does in my life the pain of loss is prime
Now I will take solace that I found this man
That left an impeccable mark that will haunt my life span

When you see a Hero,
what do you think of the Hero?
'The Hero is Amazing'
'The Hero saves lives'

Message in a Bottle (Part 2)
As the cacophony and hustle and bustle swiftly rolls
In the heart of Colombo the wind gallantly strolls
As the waves swirl and twirl on to the sandy lawn
Aeolus hums her melodies in a breathtaking song
She was a naive jogger on the sandy beach
Away from her husband's fists' horrendous reach
A jog in the morning to escape life's shatter
As she sips the winds in the sandy scatter
The pristine beach the home to her aspirations and dreams
As the sands greet the ocean's cascading streams
One day, on the sandy surface, there stood a corked bottle
An epistle inside to transform her life's throttle
It was a letter from a man who was a mummy to love
As pursuits of love metamorphosed to an unforgiving trove
Negatives from her lips in the Saharan desserts of love
Waiting for Kismet's palms to lend in a shove
The angel in her emerged as she sought to salvage
The scraps of a man a refugee of love in the modern age
Love his sadistic obsession with nails and hammers
As gold is not every lass that shimmers
She constructed her reply for a man she knew nothing of
Threw it from the corner of a peer's loft
Then as the ocean currents played postman to her epistle
On the Kerala coast there was a man who found his mistral
A mistral a gentle wind that softly touches the pores
A mistral a breeze that moistures the heart's core
As a mistral of the Indian ocean brought in love in cork and glass
His life metamorphosed to a journey to greet a serendipitous lass
He gazed at the Catamaran a poor fisherman's breadwinner
That looked after his life in the golden thick and the charcoal thinner
Then as the mistral unfolded from Aeolus's lips
Sails flamboyantly waved on the catamaran ship
As he finally reached the cruelly arid Mannar port
Waiting was a dainty creature in a whirling cavort
As he anchored his fragile vessel to a wind tarnished pole
She rushed towards the wind in her bear naked soles

We Are Love
True love does not love us for what we do.
We are not our mistakes.
We are not our jobs.

Every day I hear the news

My True Love Is Dead
My hearts been broken for sum time,
My true luv died a painful death that left him a mime.
See, he isnt the true love that anyone would think of,
But he was dear to me a mentor, provider hero angel dove,
Penetrative pain I feel everyday,
It isnt a moment that doesnt pass by that i dont lay, ...
Down in tears pour from my eyes, .
The feelin of anguish i feel I despise.
That others have had the chance to play the same roll,
But fall short for what ever reason and fold,
We never saw eye to eye but true love i felt,
For there were many a days i made him cry and melt.
The only gurl in his life,
I was his pride and joy a product of him and his wife.
June 7,2008 his life ended and complete,
And mine began disarray and I feel defeat.
