Downtown Venus (A Prostitute's Tale)
I walk the alleys an ostracized downtown Venus
At the junction of heaven and hell at the omnipresent penis
I reminisce my initiation a teenager barely legal
My kind has lasted even before times of medieval even regal
My godfather shelters me the Vodka-soaked pimp
To cater the many who wander in for an awakening from the limp
My stories are many that come in all hues and skins
Even the royalty embrace me not just the pauper also the prince
Sometimes it's a tale of punch drunk love
Sometimes it's the story of a munched junk shove
Some come for a break from their excruciating boredom
Some come armed with a stash and an omnipresent condom
Night turns to day……take it away PM Dawn
As I get my beauty sleep from the constant mucus moan
Morning comes as the early birds stand in line
For me to rock their worlds an experience diabolically sublime
I come in a variety of costume-certified professions
My ears are in tune to the ghettos' whore house confessions
I am the liberator of the temple's brewing guilt
The walls are my witness and even the semen soaked quilt
Occasionally comes the odd ball request
The conscious-driven loner's platonic conquest
Dinner, coffee even a late night walk
Just conversation baby a heart-to-heart talk
There's even the story of my sister in Vegas one Elizabeth Shue
Just a drifter who walked in to her destiny in another man's blue
A writer to save from his one way ticket to hell
A rocky road, a canister but a unique love story to tell
I am no housewife but I have my moments as a crash test dummy
When the domineering fist crashes in to my existing mummy
I live in the twilight between the ghosts and the dead
Where is my prince who will wake me from my respiring death bed
I fervently listen to the echoes of the elected's impotent promises
To bring in an union to address our livelihoods devoid of compromises
Then everything sinks in like a thunder shattering the oak
The vocals were just hollow words a politico's joke
Then comes the blessings of the black collar worker
Handouts in superabundance so are the shacks of shelter
The urge builds as a new baptism is that I seek
Will I survive in God's chambers when my conscious is so meek
The days follow and its time for life's new lease
Slowly up the alleys as momentum gathers in the form of a calming peace
Maybe I am an incarnation of Mary at the stone quarry
Now my heart feels lighter levitating from the nagging worry
I enter through the door and I see the familiar savior's face
Among the mantillas in their intricate embroidery of lace
I kneel down to the destiny that emphatically awaits me
The beginning of my life in the chambers of the eternally free

Souls Asylum - Ode to a forgotten kind
Pack my bags in a confused neuronal frenzy
A ticket to an unknown paradise the shores of my Casamance
A runaway train scanning the signs of the forgotten land
As the feet rhythmically splatter to the mud soaked bus stand
It's two in the morning the heart devoid of any feeling
An inevitable choice to escape the iron fist dealing
Paitre the re-incarnation of a cannibalistic leviathan creature
Maitre the banshee shrieking the tune of a venomous child eater
I remember the tale of my sister Mary Jane
Who had her last dance on the lap of her guardian's pubic mane
As the pearl jammed against the restrictive oyster shell
She escaped to her destiny from her chambers of an eternal hell
I am the victim of the inevitability of human nature
That mutates the temples to a carnivorous amorphous creature
Not even innocence is spared as the amazons are brutally ravaged
Orellano the guide to those boats that escaped the hands of the savaged
Across the Atlantic, unfolded the story of innocence lost
To the devils in robes un-empathetic to the human cost
As the runaway trains reached the shores the calming Irish
The echoes the church walls haunting the predators' conscience-leash
I remember the stories of the earliest of them all
When human cargo was unloaded from the southern costal trawl
When Casamance was lost to the tyrants in many hues pale
The Mandinka spirit escaped to tell their rapturous emancipation tale
Now the story of the Asian mestiza sold to contemporary's slave trade
A forced destiny to crash against the fluid, as the bounty of innocence fade
Escape the shanty badlands on the shores of the unforgiving Pasig
Her runaway train to catch, a new lease for life's second dig
These are the stories of the downtrodden in their quest for an earthly paradise
In the roulette tables of life to find their unique serendipitous sunrise
To the arms of angles showering grace to these forgotten soles in their forsaken phylum
The journey to an eternal freedom to the chainless soul asylum
The underground soul asylum flourishes under the radar
A abolitionist network spanning the badlands even the grand crater
Run by angels in their vengeance against humanity's sins
A sanctuary for the emancipated for a lease of new wings

O, What A Short Story
From beginning to end it was a short tale
It follows like this, a once unspoken story
Dusk would come and we’d walk together
Down along the beach, we could stay for forever
The sand would squeeze between our toes
As we walked together, on the beach at dusk
Night would come and we’d eat together
Followed by talk of what the future would bring
A bundle of happiness, and a house together
We’d talk together, after eating dinner at night
Morning would come and we’d be off to work
What a night we’d had, but forgotten already
Fights would follow and a change would be made
We’d fight and fight, in the morning during work
By lunchtime the end would soon be near
Sick of the madness and unpredictable sadness
My bags would be packed before dinner came
I’d pack my bags, after lunch in sorrow
That dinner would be lonely, alone I’d eat
And I’d cry myself to sleep
Alone at a friends, a depression with no end
I’d finally sleep, after dinner I’d cry
My story would end at midnight that night
How could I bear to live, without my sweetheart?
I’d go peacefully in sleep, after taking those pills
I’d take my last breath, at midnight that night

Whatever it takes i will rule my destiny,
With no fear i will hunt my destiny.
Corrupt and exploited minds control my ways
But still i will get my destiny.
My destiny though tiny,
I will get it in full.
Never will i share it with anyone,
Not even my only one.
No man knows my destiny but God alone,
For life is but a dream.
And if at all we will wake up
i pray that i should wake up clean.
I let the talk, talk the talk,
And the walk, walk the walk
For it is those who seek that find,
And those he (God) pleases that he blesses.
But for me, blessed or not,
Either way i will live into my own story.
And get my destiny.

Destiny
Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny

Burning Embers
Fly through the glass of a window pane
fall through the sky feeling the rain
Walk on broken glass your tell-tale heart
Look through the bars of a dirty jail cell
soar to heaven dive to hell
Listen to your tell-tale heart
Setting fires in the ghost twilight
we see you dress we bolt with fright
You see an apparition disappear
Jump to the table, jump up the stairs
stand on the rooftop, looking out through the air
Walk on broken glass your tell-tale heart
Lenore, am I dreaming
How can death keep us apart, mmmm..
Lenore, I see you burning
And I'd walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart
Walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart
Walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart
Heart
heart
Heart
heart
Walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart
your tell-tale heart
Walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart
Walk on burning embers
walk on burning embers
Walk on burning embers your tell-tale heart

Tell Me A Story
Tell me a story that isn't gory
tell me a story that isn't fake
tell me a story where you made a mistake
tell me a story where the cows come home
tell me a story I want to know
tell me a story where the princess finds herself
not a prince who is more like an elf.
Tell me a story that I can laugh out loud
tell me a story where storm makes lighting clouds.
For in the end we only have our stories to tell
what make them funny, give them hell.

Youre All I Have
Waking ups to dream about last night
Needing to touch you once more
Wondering whats happened to this broken heart of mine
I feel it beating so strong, feels like something so ?
Still without you I cant live
Youre all I have
Please dont take your love from me
Youre all I have
Youre my life, my destiny
Youre all I have
My only reason to believe
You are my heaven, my hell
Still youre all I need to live
Wondering through memories with you
I know, the love never die
Im stepping out of lonelyness
This time for good
I need to have you again
Were more than lovers or friends
Still without you I cant live
Youre all I have
Please dont take your love from me
Youre all I have
Youre my life, my destiny
Youre all I have
My only reason to believe
You are my heaven, my hell
Still youre all I need
Youre all I have
Please dont take your love from me
Youre all I have
Youre my life, my destiny
Youre all I have
My only reason to believe
You are my heaven, my hell
Youre all I have
Please dont take your love
From me
Youre all I have
Youre my life, my destiny

You are my heaven, my hell

There Is A Story
There is a story
Of which only a heart could tell
A story of love and beauty
Of wanting and regret
A tale of such romance
Where a tragedy unfolds
The hero or heroine emerges
To save another’s life
To rescue from such loss
The heart of their affection
A story told and known
A story so alike many others
But with a soul of its own
It plays at the strings
A melody of quiet beauty
From the darkest tears
To the brightest smile
There exists uncompleted
A life being written
In a story
Only a heart could know

But Myself
I might not do any better
But I wont do any worst
I will never die without love
But I will die because of thirst
I will never stop looking for answers
And that road I will always search
I know that I will never be last
And before many I have been first.
I will never be a rich man
And I swear to you I will never be poor
I will never start a fight with any man
But I am not afraid to enter into a war
I will never ask for sympathy or money
But also on no one will I shut my door
I might date many different women
But I will never make woman a whore.
I might one day might have nothing
But then I will always have my pride
I will always rather joke and laugh
Never will I cause anyone to cry
I am not afraid to ever walk alone
Or I don’t care who walks at my side
I might tell many different stories
But no story I tell will ever be a lie.
I will never asked for handouts
As what I have I have earned
I might not be the smartest man around
But from life many lessons I have learned
I might not worry about our world today
But of peoples life I am concerned
I might not go to church as I should
But I know that I will never burn.
I do not care to walk alone
And I don’t care to be with anyone else
I don’t care if you have no money at all
And I don’t care to hear of your wealth
I might not be there when no one is near
But I will be there if you need my help
I am not afraid or ashamed to look in any mirror
As always I will be no-one, but myself

Cant We Talk It Over In Bed
(sandy linzer/irwin levine)
Harsh words are spoken
Promises are broken
Old wounds are opened
And love walks out that door
Too proud to make up
Youre ready to break up
Too late youll wake up
And love walks out that door
Baby, oh sweet baby
I didnt mean a word I said
You know that I love you
Cant we talk it over in bed
I never meant to hurt you
I must have been out of my head
Tell me you still want me
Cant we talk it over in bed
Talk, talk, talk it over
Talk,lets talk it out baby
Harsh words are spoken
Promises are broken
Old wounds are opened
And love walks out that door
Too proud to make up
Youre ready to break up
Too late youll wake up
And love walks out that door
Out that door
Baby, oh sweet baby
Wont let you walk out that door
Come on a little closer
Cant we just forgive and forget
Everything seems to work out
When we talk it over in bed
Too much time apart
We need a little heart to heart
Cant sleep without you baby
Oooh, cuddle up, cuddle up, cuddle up, cuddle up, baby
Dont end the night this way
Oooh, cuddle up, cuddle up, cuddle up, cuddle up, cuddle up, baby
Oh sweet baby
I didnt mean a word I said
You know that I love you

Platonic
I knew it the first of the summer,
I knew it the same at the end,
That you and your love were plighted,
But couldn’t you be my friend?
Couldn’t we sit in the twilight,
Couldn’t we walk on the shore
With only a pleasant friendship
To bind us, and nothing more?
There was not a word of folly
Spoken between us two,
Though we lingered oft in the garden
Till the roses were wet with dew.
We touched on a thousand subjects –
The moon and the worlds above, -
And our talk was tinctured with science,
And everything else, save love.
A wholly Platonic friendship
You said I had proven to you
Could bind a man and a woman
The whole long season through,
With never a thought of flirting,
Though both were in their youth,
What would you have said, my lady,
If you had known the truth!
What would you have done, I wonder,
Had I gone on my knees to you
And told you my passionate story,
There in the dusk and the dew?
My burning, burdensome story,
Hidden and hushed so long –
My story of hopeless loving –
Say, would you have thought it wrong?
But I fought with my heart and conquered,
I hid my wound from sight;
You were going away in the morning,
And I said a calm goodnight.
But now when I sit in the twilight,
Or when I walk by the sea
That friendship, quite Platonic,
Comes surging over me.
And a passionate longing fills me
For the roses, the dusk, the dew;
For the beautiful summer vanished,
For the moonlight walks – and you.

Why Do I Love?
Why do I love?
Is it for men to choose
The hour of the hushed night when crowned with dews
From its sea grave the morning star shall wake?
Lo, while we drowsed, it rose on our heart's ache,
And all our heaven was red with the day's hues,
And glad birds chaunted from the trees above.
So was it with my heart that might not choose
But woke to love.
Why do I love?
The aureole of lost days
Is on thy brow and unforgotten face;
Faith's guiding light, the same which of old time
Sent men on knightly quests to deeds sublime
And the high prize which was their lady's grace.
Thither I follow, careless what shall prove,
So only at thy knees a little space
I too may love.
Why do I love?
The paths of life are steep,
And dark the issues and the gulfs how deep!
This wayside shrine invites my knees to kneel.
Thou, dearest Saint, in witness of my zeal
Biddest me walk in joy who only weep,
And fare forth comforted who vainly strove.
See how my steps in thy sweet service leap!
See how I love!
Why do I love?
There is a dream that stirs
My soul to its last depth of lost desires,
Music of waters in a thirsty land,
A step, a touch, the lingering of a hand,
Fingers that are the soft Spring's messengers,
And lips that to my kisses part and move
With passionate words which yet--how strange!--are hers,
Pleading for love.
Why do I love?
If one had told me this,
When I erewhile in the world's wilderness
Wandered uncertain or of Heaven or Hell,
How had I laughed as at a time--worn tale!
To--day, behold. I too speak prophecies,
And hang my votive garland in the grove,
And supplicate my god, and kneel and kiss
Her feet for love.
Why do I love?
Ah, love, I will not make
A longer reasoning even for thy sake;
Be it enough that I am pleasure's thrall.
Tell me thy will, in song or madrigal
Or word unspoken. Bid me bend or break,
And brave all wraths of Earth or Heaven above,
But not thy wrath. Ah! bid me not awake.
Bid me still love.

Walk with me...
Walk with me where the oceans meet the land
Where the lapping waves shall wash away all our fears
Walk with me along crystal sands to the end of the beginning
Where death and despair are but a distant memory
Walk with me to a place where time is motionless
Where we are but a moment standing still for all eternity
Walk with me to the edge of this never ending story
Where peace and love radiate throughout each chapter
Walk with me into the open arms of loves sweet embrace
Open your heart and love shall become us...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

My Story Of Love And Heartbreak (The Paramirror)
I'll tell you a story about a man,
A man whose life is not so grand.
A story about love and heartbreaks too,
Heartbreaks too painful, sad and blue.
And blue are the days that will be the worst,
The worst of all time, feelings cursed.
The days will drag on, drained of my glory,
My glory dies in the story.
The story will start out with love of course,
Of course it's happy, no remorse.
Start out with my heart flying high and free,
And free is my soul...love, the key.
The key which will let all of my guards down,
Guards down...ready for what's around.
Will let the pain in when ready to strike,
To strike at me when it feels like.
Feels like the love is draining from my heart,
My heart was filled til she departs.
Love is gone and I feel all of the ache,
The ache of love and then heartbreak.

A Cinderella Story' vs Reality
There is a girl and a boy,
Connected only in cyber,
Never met,
Never phoned,
How long can it last?
It is like in the movie ‘A Cinderella Story’,
Her friend said.
The girl loves him so much,
She cannot took her mind off him,
She waits in front of computer every night,
Waiting for her Prince Charming to greet.
They have known each other a year,
They lived very far apart,
It is like one is up there,
One is down the globe,
Can it last?
She wondered.
One day,
Her Prince Charming said those magical words to her,
She was barely able to breathe,
She was the happiest person on Earth,
But Prince Charming loves her as…?
On one beautiful night,
As usual,
She spent almost hours and hours in front of the computer,
Wait till Prince Charming to come,
But he did not,
She was a bit upset,
She wrote to Prince Charming,
‘You love me as what? ’
Prince Charming replied her the next day,
‘I love you as my girlfriend’,
‘Will you be mine? ’
For God’s sake,
She was absolutely wanted to be his,
‘I sure will’,
It was the best day of her life.
So, there it was,
For her,
She hopes her story does not end just like that,
She will wait for her Prince Charming,
To come to her,
In reality,
Not just in cyber,
Even if it take 100 years.
She wanted them to see,
She wanted him to take her hands,
She wanted to dance in the rain with him,
She wanted to feel his warm,
She wanted him for sure,
She will wait, she swore.
A Cinderella Story?
It is different with her story, she thought,
It is just the same,
When it comes to how they stay connected.

If You Talk In Your Sleep
(words & music by red west - johnny christopher)
I know youre a lonely woman and I love you
But someone else is waiting and he owns you
If he should ever wake up, make sure that your story is straight love
If you talk in your sleep dont mention my name
And if you walk in your sleep forget where you came
Walking every night here in the shadows
So afraid that sometime he may follow
Theres always the chance hell find us
I dont need to remind you
If you talk in your sleep dont mention my name
If you walk in your sleep forget where you came
Love is so much sweeter when its borrowed
Ill feel a little easier tomorrow
Dont give our secret away, be careful what you say
If you talk in your sleep dont mention my name
If you walk in your sleep forget where you came
Forget where you came, now
Forget where you came
Dont mention my name
Dont mention my name
Forget where you came

A Bitter Coffee... A Sweet Coffee
The age is running and I am still drinking my bitter coffee,
To when the story of this coffee belongs? !
Coffee and chocolate are so deferent in their tastes
But in several times
It happens that they have the same color.
It seems that the similarity of them is the same of features of the fortune reader.
When she gazes the cup of the coffee
But I am not so familiar with chocolate
Even I am not familiar with the talisman countenances of the hex.
I remember that once I asked him to give me a bitter coffee
Yet he has made a permanent bitter one
Each time he brings me the same coffee in the same cup
A question c0mes to my mind and I ask it to myself:
If we do not like the coffee, why we do drink it?
Do you think it is our destiny as my birth story?
I was born without my desire
Thus with each sip of the coffee
The destiny stops me not to tear the chocolate cover
to sweeten my coffee.

Oh mummy don't
At night my eyes cry
Oh mummy don't your making me die
At night my nose turns cold and red
Oh mummy don't hit me on the leg
At night my lips get chapped and cut
Oh mummy dont squeeze my gut
At night my head hurts
Oh mummy don't whip me with your leather skirt
At night my body shivers
Oh mummy don't you'll scare my teddy quivers
At night my heart stopped beating
Oh mummy please stop repeating
At night I pray I were dead
Oh mummy don't cant you see the tears I shed
At night I know my life is mean and dark
Oh mummy don't the scares turn into question marks
At night I weep to myself quietly
On mummy don't you're frightning me
At night I have learned dirty words
Oh mummy don't please say this in nice words
At night I pick up the knife
Oh mummy I am ready to take my life
This poem I have written is just to tell the world out there that kids DO NOT deserve
this kind of life, so if you ever do see something like this going on why don't you do something
about it. In this world 50% kids die because of child abuse, So don't leave it if you see it
do something about it and save a life.
