Sonnet Acceptance
Has anybody thought to calculate
How many gametes fail to multiply?
The countless halves which never find a mate
The crazy odds we've faced to be an 'I'.
It matters not at all, they had no chance
There is no claim, it's just a musing game
But viewed from cool and unimpassioned stance
The ones that made it also have no aim.
The will to live is instinct, nothing more
A necessary cause to self-delude
Examined logic'lly we see the flaw
And sensibly don't let the truth intrude.
Before the intonations of our knell
Illusions shed, may help us bid farewell.

What is sexual attraction?
Man tip gets gametes
Which have the halved chromosomes
And the opposite too have likewise.
Unless they join each other,
The two halves can’t be the whole.
Hence, both tips are desperate

A Loves Farewell
How can you say it was never meant to be,
the love that was shared by you and me?
How can you so easily just walk away,
like a game that ended you chose to play?
If you love me like I love you,
I don't know how you can say we're through.
My love for you still stands so strong.
How can something so right turn out to be so wrong?
I don't think I can ever stop loving you,
and it's hard to believe you don't love me to..
but somehow I'll let you go if that's what it takes
and I'll bid to you farewell as my heart breaks.
The memories will live on of all our time together,
and in my heart my love for you will live on forever.
One can only hope for the best in love,
it's future you can never tell.
It's a sad time to say the least when you're faced with
a loves farewell.

Which is to win?
Sturdy arrogance
Relationship issues within,
Or common sense
When everything has been said,
To work it out.
But its' like banging your head,
Screaming and starting to shout!
There seems no way for either to succeed,
The stubbornness may yield with luck and chance.
But it has to feed,
From its' stance.
The only possible way to fight its' negative,
Ignore its' need,
Is to live let it live!

Must We Succumb to Metaphysical Incompatibility?
Ah, my dear, your greatest flaw, perhaps

Belief in some great being in the sky
Who knows our thoughts and judges us,
And intervenes from time to time, in
Person or through winged proxies, in
Our ordinary lives in order to enable us

In the sky is omnipotent, as you say he
Is, then from what does he try to save
