Pantoum: Wandering

In the end it doesn't matter
Brush or roller paint afloating
As the consequences scatter
Dribbles show through extra coating.

Brush or roller paint afloating
Canvas, plaster wall or papers
Dribbles show through extra coating
Elongated teardropp tapers.

Canvas, plaster wall or papers
Home is dry or sometimes soggy
Elongated teardropp tapers
Drooling gape of grinning doggy.

Home is dry or sometimes soggy
Early man tamed wolf from wild
Drooling gape of grinning doggy
Vestige of a beast bred mild.

Early man tamed wolf from wild
Modern man tamed rocket power
Vestige of a beast bred mild
Tripper humming at the tower.

Modern man tamed rocket power
Vital need for space exploring
Tripper humming at the tower
Engines roaring, now we're soaring.

Vital need for space exploring
Exercise for bones and muscles
Engines roaring, now we're soaring
Random span of weighty tussles.

Exercise for bones and muscles
Sometimes parts and paths are bendless
Random span of weighty tussles
Next to nil, a moment's endless.

Sometimes parts and paths are bendless
As the consequences scatter
Next to nil, a moment's endless
In the end it doesn't matter.

Paint Me Down

Paint me down
Paint me down
Paint me down
Im walking into studio
Consider strange appeal
Paint me in the home
Im brushing up on sketchbook
Designs for love unreal
Paint me in the home
Oil and skin youll need to buy it
Consider what I mean
She sinks beneath thr moving pictures
Prepare the brush for me
Im craving with this need
Paint me down
Paint me down
Paint me down
Im soaking up the surface
Conceaiving new idea
Paint me in the home
Shes oiling up her subject
But all still life is here
Paint me in the home
All the boys with framed dimension
A cover up on lust
Hell take his pain and paint it over
Prepare the brush for me
Im craving with this need

Why?

If I could paint
I would paint a portrait
of a shot out Ratel armoured car
standing in a landmine field.

Out of which the smoke still rises
And I would print in defencelessness
with every brush stroke
of armoured steel failing
against projectiles
and then becoming a coffin

and enemy soldiers standing grinning
with teeth brilliant white
and bones of fallen comrades
that tried to stop a horde of barbarians
and hyenas and jackals standing drooling
and vultures turning in the sky

and in the background till the horizon
enemy tanks, armoured cars
and men would lay shot to pieces
with pools of blood, intestines
and shot of legs and hands

and the title would be: Why?

Winter Perfection

They say the dog is Man's best friend,
His buddy, through and through...
You can depend he will defend,
So credit where it's due...
Yet from the wild wolf he was tamed
And brought into the home,
Where he plays free and unashamed,
Wherever he may roam...
To think, the wolf once crossed the globe,
The forests, plains and hills...
And every valley Man could probe,
The wild wolf hunts and kills.
Beyond the cities, Nature rules
The hunter and the prey...
When Summer dies, the Autumn cools,
Then Winter haunts each day.
The blinding snow falls to the ground
And freezes far and wide...
It's then the white wolf roams around
And has no need to hide.
His camouflage is perfect now,
Successful hunts ensue...
The truth is harsh, yet fates allow
The things the wolf must do...

The Poem In My Mind

you cannot steal my poem
it is in my mind
you cannot put an end to my poem
it is alive
it has the wings of an eagle
flying high
nesting on a cliff
a very high cliff
beyond the grasp of my hands
it is wild
as wild as the cobra in the forest
but when i recall it back
in my memory
it becomes gentle as a dove
as tamed as
my dog
wagging its tail behind my
back
it becomes a tamed horse
waiting for my
ride.

Psalm 31

In you oh Lord I put my trust
May I never be ashamed
For you are my Rock and strong high tower
And my wild heart you have tamed

I stand upon the solid Rock
Of Christ my King Divine
You lead and guide, you are my strength
I the branch, You the Vine

Consider my troubles oh Lord my God
In grief my eyes waste away
My bones are dry, I have no strength
My life is like an endless day

My enemies laugh, they are full of scorn
And fear lies on every side
I'm a broken vessel, forgotton and lost
And I'm drowning by an incoming tide

Yet I trust in you, you are my God
And my times they are in your hand
And I shall hide, in the secret place
And on this Rock I shall forever stand

How great is your goodness oh Mighty God
You are the Rock of my salvation
Love the Lord your God, ye saints of earth
For He brings justice to every nation

Sweet Darlin

Sweet darlin
You saved me
Im hummin
From the lovin
You gave me
You went so far
Where my feelings are
Breathing heaven fire
Sweet darlin
I know you
You stopped running
You knew I had something
To show you
The fever tamed
Like an angel came
Made music of my name
Sweet darlin
Early that morning we knew I had to fly
Engines were screaming and still I was asking myself why
High on the wind I was feeling my sweet darlin cry
My heart was breaking
I closed my eyes
Darlin
Can you hear me
We cant be wrong
The nights song
Pulls you near me
Time just falls
Distance small
I feel you all
Sweet darlin

I Look At The Glamorous Sky In Amazement.

i look at the glamorous sky in amazement
and look at myself in the same breath in shame
the nature in endless enthusiasm
with a restless brush in perennial flow
in matchless varieties through endless ages
creates patterns in myriad colours and shades
all throbbing with life and energy-
no two moments are the same;
and what it fancies, it erases the moment next
with no symptoms of regret-
bereft of imagination on a piece of canvas
i try at times to imitate a moment of creation;
i miserably fail to even remotely gain the grace of a moment;
yet preserve the rag for years
imprisoning it beneath a majestic frame
trumpeting my talent in front of everyone
as if it is the master creation to last for eternity!
i deeply meditate and my vain pride commits suicide
and i am reborn into a pious humility!
o master! wherever i turn
i see in wonder your inimitable works -
painted skies, sculptured mountains, laughing rivers,
roaring seas, relaxing plains, mysterious forests,
burning spheres, creations of macrocosms and microcosms -
o master poet! my prostrations at thy holy feet
bless me with a speck of an atom of thy immense power!

Country Is Like A Body

When one part sick
All parts look unhealthy
When one part missing
All parts get the impact

When one part is weak
Do other parts only blame and not help to fix it?
When one part is failed
Do other parts only let it fall and not support it?

Even it is often forgotten
It doesn't mean it is not important
Even it is always underestimated
It doesn't mean it could completely be ignored

One part may be incapable
But it doesn't mean all parts can do nothing
One part may be invalid
But it doesn't mean all parts should also give up the spirit

In some incredible moment they are working together
In some unseen place they don't stop to struggle
It may be hard but always raises up the hope
It may be small change but always look forward

Cool The Engines

Now I like takin off
Dont like burnin out
Every time you turn it on
Makes me want to shout
We keep getting hotter
Movin way too fast
If we dont slow this fire down
Were not gonna last
Cool the engines
Red lines gettin near
Cool the engines
Better take it out of gear
Im no fool
Im gonna keep it cool
And take it day by day
We wont know where we might go
till we take it all the way
Take me for a ride
Take me all the way
Take me where Ive never been
Someplace I can stay
Dont get yourself too hot
Dont get yourself too high
If we dont take it easy now
We can kiss it all goodbye
Cool the engines
Slow this rocket down
Cool the engines
Why dont ya take a look around
Im no fool, gonna keep it cool
Take it day by day
We wont know where we might go
till we take it all the way
Cool the engines
Cool the engines
Goin over the line
Goin off the dial
Runnin out of time
And its gettin wild
Got flashin lights
Goin round and round
Until we get it right
Better cool it down
Better cool it down.
Cool the engines.
And now were on our way
No need to hurry just to get from day to day
And i, oooh, I know
We dont have to run that hard to get where we can go.
Cool the engines.
Cool the engines down.
Cool the engines.
Cool the engines down.

Am I a master

I am the master, master of art
have painted true pictures,
of rising sun, mountain, sea
through jungles flowing rivers,
shining stars, birds, cloudy sky,
can paint anything and everything.
insects, lions, bear and deer.
just like the living things.

I am the master, master of art,
can make my own paint and brush
Alas! but cannot create raw material
of any of paint, brush or canvas.
Oh! can not paint these seven
which are made only in heaven:
smell, touch, look, hear and taste,
emotions, thought and breathe.

No, I am not the master, master of art
can paint uncountable things yet not.
Not possible to paint love and laugh
I have to go again and again to learn
to the supreme master, who painted
the universe, stars, moon and sun

Global effect

The sun has got rusty
The tin-flaked light can wound deadly
The leafless trees have broken down
Their propeller engines.

Elongated people, full of holes
Penetrated by birds and pressing machines
Lie down on stretchers of the zebra crossing
To die.

Speakers sing
Astronauts screw stars
Computers count
The supreme failure.

And that is all,
Boredom stifles the vital enthusiasm
Distributed globally
And statistically.

Peace, Little Girl, Peace.

The poor young girl
with beach blonde hair
and pale white skin
stands in the middle of the street,
in the middle of a war.
Her face shows pain,
her face shows she wants help.
She goes to the hardware store
and steals a can of purple paint.
She doesn't know better,
so it doesn't matter.
The pale girl opens the can of purple paint
and uses her hands to write a message on the
big brick building wall.
She uses what knowledge she has of spelling,
and traces her purple paint covered fingers
over the wall.
First she draws a P
than an E
than she dips her hand back in the paint.
When she is done with the word,
the purple paint has run down the wall,
but you could still see the word very clearly.
It spelled PEACE.
The young girl takes her hand and presses it to the wall
leaving a very small purple handprint.
Then she runs.
A soldier calls after her,
'Peace little girl, Peace! '

Arctic Beauty

The wily wolf deserves respect.
Some children think it's cute...
But most of us, I would suspect,
Are somewhat more astute!
The wolf is wild, no fast-formed friend,
Untamed by modern man.
It doesn't seek to comprehend
What humans want to plan...
The wolf is wary all the time,
To every sound it hears.
Its instincts are, of course, sublime,
Whenever danger nears!
The wolf survives cold Winter's spell...
Determined day-by-day...
To bide its time, then howl, 'Farewell! '
When Spring is here to stay!
The wolf delights in Summer's heat
With all that this entails -
For then, its speed is hard to beat,
In fact, it rarely fails.
The wolf is known to howl at night,
To serenade the moon...
This wailing noise can cause us fright
And some of us to swoon...
The wolf won't change to suit Mankind...
It's lived without his aid.
A wilder creature's hard to find.
The legends never fade.
The wolf is callous to the core,
Like any hunting beast.
Each bloodied tooth, each bloodied claw
Proves hunting hasn't ceased.
The wily wolf has cubs to feed,
The future to preserve...
It doesn't kill for hate or greed...
Just life upon this Earth...

Modern Dancing

Modern, modern, modern, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern
I see you acting modernly with the boys and girls
Exposure breeds discovery in the modern world
The 60's hairdos 90's eyes are just flashing lights
A touch of neon hinting class for the modern night
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern
Mono vision tv face and determined eyes
The clothes are perfect the rips in place just the perfect size
Familiarity breeds contempt but it doesn't show
We've heard the music times before but it still makes you go
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, modern dancing
Modern dancing, dancing
....variations to fade....

That Will Be The Last Reunion

i assure myself, i was lost,
in that reunion, their faces are no longer the same
their noses are elongated
and their words are
smelling like
dead fish their vision about us float like stinging jellyfish

the world has changed a lot, old friends are tied
to broken families
ex-girlfriends have become wild grasses in the forests
nothing and no one is as tamed as that old closeness
that knows
what sympathy was all about
the perfume of empathy
is lost in the air of indifference
nothing good spreads there

i listen a lot and i have heard what i must vomit
everything ends at ten o'clock in the evening
and then i flag a taxi
that takes me to a hotel which shows me the bareness of luxury
and style
i do not stop from there
i have to go somewhere else to appease what boils within
the rage of too much
expectations that fail

perhaps at eleven o'clock a bottle of rhum
while watching a comedy show of transvestites and clowns
something too far
and farce.

Pride On Canvas

While others walk,
I will run.
While others hide
on a rainy day,
I will search for
the sun.
I will paint
my pride on
canvas.
And no one will
get in my way.
My barefoot brush
on my infinite
canvas.
All my pride
directed,
Toward this
beautiful day.

Rocket 88

Yea I think I know
I really hate it when it gets too slow
I gotta try and keep myself amused
I love the way my rocket purrs
I like it best when I see blurs
You gotta love to watch me light my fuse
No more lookin back to yesterday
I got the thing to blow us both away
All I need is you to navigate
So come and ride my rocket 88
Call it chump change, I think not
cause I got sumpn no one else has got
Its no look like and it aint no protege
Its nuclear my rocket 88
Well get down on the darkside of the moon
And leave a little somthin on the dune
This home by ten is gonna have to wait
cause we got a rocket 88
Light years honey thats how far well go
Lets fire it up and watch the rockets glow
Gee suit, g-spot, gee I really must admit
I got my rocket 88, honey this is it
So no more up against the wall
Just come with me and watch the earth get small
I swear you never will come down at all
So if you like it in your face
Ill rub your nose into outer space
And turn into a red hot fireball

Painting Words

IMAGES SPRING FROM NOWHERE,
BUT BEAR A KNOWN DESIGN.
NO BRUSH OR PAINT IS MY WARE
THOUGH PAINTINGS DO SEEM MINE.

MY CANVAS BREATHES ALIVE
AS WORD AND IMAGE MERGE.
FROM NOTHINGNESS I STRIVE
TO CAPTURE EACH NEW SURGE.

PEN SWATHES, LIKE BRUSH STROKES,
FASHION WORDS, ONE-BY-ONE,
UNTIL MIND’S EYE EVOKES
IMAGES CLEAR AS THE SUN.

ALL WHO VIEW THESE WORKS
WILL FIND IT’S NOT ABSURD
TO FEEL THE POWER THAT LURKS
BEHIND EACH PAINTED WORD.
