A Waltz
Our foxtrot wasn't good, but then again,
it wasn't bad before, alas, my heel
impaired that poor man's shin and yet I feel
that you were leading rather well ‘till then.
The Samba tempo's captivating thrall
seduced us to abandon Earthly care.
Our spirals had finesse and to be fair,
we only once collided with the wall.
And when I fell, I know you did not gloat,
that was instead, a sympathetic grin.
I swear, it was an accidental spin
which sadly brought my elbow to your throat.
And last, I lightly spun in blissful trance,
a waltz, goodnight and thank you for the dance.

Dance, Dance! !
let's put on our dancing shoes,
twirl around the ballroom like flying in the air.
delightful organ music fills up magnificent space, from foxtrot, samba to waltz...till eternity,
Songs and beats flow into our ears,
light up our souls.
Nobody can stop us now....
Dance Dance! !
Let's fly in the air at 380 feet, high up in the sky.
walkabout the tower top watching the vibrant city below our feet.
buildings like miniatures, land and sea are in unity.
Wind chimes into our ears,
Laughter in our souls
Nobody can stop us now...
Dance Dance! !
Let's feel the dance floor full of vibrant passions.
watching all the princes and princesses, trying their very best.
Music keeps them swaying, from head to toe, till immortality
our ears got tired, our eyes got sore
but our hearts are still packed with exhilaration
Nobody can stop us now
Dance Dance! !
Let's hop onto the open top, swinging around the city
driving along the promenade, passing by the tourist spots
houses in bricks, all in conformity
Gigglings in our ears
Happiness in our souls
Nobody can stop us now
Time Could?

Impressive Instant
Universe is full of stars
Nothing out there looks the same
You're the one that I've been waiting for
I don't even know your name
I'm in a trance
I'm in a trance
Cosmic systems intertwine
Astral bodies drip like wine
All of nature ebbs and flows
Comets shoot across the sky
Can't explain the reasons why
This is how creation goes
I don't want nobody else
All the others look the same
Galaxies are sliding into view
I don't even know your name
Chorus:
I'm in a trance
And the world is spinning
Spinning baby out of control
I'm in a trance
I let the music take me
Take me where my heart wants to go
(repeat)
Kiss me
(repeat 3 times)
I like to singy singy singy
Like a bird on a wingy wingy wingy
I like to rhumba rhumba rhumba
Dance to a samba samba samba
(chorus)
Trance
I'm in a trance
Universe is full of stars
Nothing out there looks the same
You're the one that I've been waiting for
I don't even know your name

In the years since I worked with John Hughes, there were many years where I literally had hundred of doors slammed in my face because I wasn't that kid anymore, and I wasn't a character actor, and I wasn't a leading man, and I wasn't whatever Hollywood was looking for.

Everywhere
There's a place I want 2 go/Where the milk and honey flow
Without God it wasn't there/Now I feel it Everywhere"
When I was lost and couldn't c my way/I used 2 follow what everybody say
Now I know that it's written in the heart/Now I'm ready, ready 2 start
Without God it wasn't there/Now I feel it Everywhere
We were always meant 2 b/In paradise eternally
B4 the truth I did not care/Now I feel it Everywhere
Feel it, feel it Everywhere/Feel it, feel it/Can u feel it?
This might good feeling Everywhere/We've got so much work 2 do. Everywhere

The Lovers Last Dance
With rain and storm it crosses the line
Screeching brakes screams,
Shattered glass so fine,
Silence but, for a spinning wheel
As spirits rise hold hands and kneel.
Your body attracts the moonlight,
The stars shine on so bright
May I have this dance?
.
Shall we
Dance an angel dance,
In a lovers trance as kin
To the sway of the foxtrot,
And I’ve got you under my skin.
Entwine with me, vibe the rhythm of life
Soothing the senses, with feelings run rife.
Dance angel dance,
Thru rainbows silver mist,
Swirling with tear coloured clouds
Just to be kissed.
We dance on, up, high in the sky,
A new dance is nigh.
Strauss has provided the last waltz of wonder,
As powerful to compare to dancing thunder.
When we reach heaven with steps guided true
Believe me,
You’ll know that for ever
I will always
Love you

Downtown Samba
This ones called
Now for you
Downtown samba
Canal streets where we dance
We do the rhumba, samba
The citys hot, were almost naked
Its a scandal
Nights still young
We do the samba with the congo warrior
Downtown samba (2x)
Hey you over there
You shouldnt dance alone
Watch me come on closer
Cause I am the one
To dance with you
All night long
Im dancing like a mambo
Go go go for sambo
Dancing, dancing, dancing
Tango
Over there, mister
Come see, youll see
So dance the tango, tango

Dance Of Life
Sometimes we do the rumba,
a foxtrot or a jive,
as we dance through our life,
each and every day.
We dance and we dance,
each day through.
Everyday to a different tune,
just to get us through.
In all our loving moments,
we waltz through life,
and in those complicated moments,
we will twist the whole night through.
For everything we do,
there is a dance to get us through.
For every day,
we dance our life away.

I did it to myself. It wasn't society... it wasn't a pusher, it wasn't being blind or being black or being poor. It was all my doing.

Slake
For sane closure of what was and never is-
and was still is; — though is never was… it—
dark fire black light blissful remorse sorrow's delight
black fire darkened light blissful sorrow remorseful plight
clever anguish, smart your sting, sorrows left though more you bring
leave my stay and march your dirge, happy lies be blissful purge
trustful boast that is it— is what wasn't was— as it is never as was—is
doubtful dream is what it is—what was wasn't, though is can be

And We Bid You Goodnight
Lay down my dear brother, lay down and take your rest,
Wont you lay your head upon your saviors chest,
I love you all, but jesus loves you the best
And we bid you goodnight, goodnight, goodnight.
I would never ride, well, I would never ride (goodnight, goodnight)
But his rod and his staff, they comfort me (goodnight, goodnight)
Tell a for the ark, that wonderful boat (goodnight, goodnight)
Tell b for the beast at the ending of the wood (goodnight, goodnight)
You know it ate all the children when they wouldnt be good,
Walking in jerusalem just like john (goodnight, goodnight)
I go walking in the valley of the shadow of death,
And we bid you goodnight, goodnight, goodnight.

It Was How I Remember And That’s Not How It Was
It may have been Classic, yet not elegant
It may have been Love, yet not romantic
It may have been hidden, yet not unforeseen
Yet none came to you
It was my brother’s irreplaceable companion and his little sister
It was my brother’s incredulity and his greatest suspicion
It was my brother’s settlement and his authorization
Yet none came to you
It wasn’t my dream and it wasn’t my fantasy
It wasn’t my concern and it wasn’t my guarantee
It wasn’t my content and it wasn’t my sorrow
It may have been my mother’s hope, yet not her premonition
And now its my animosity
The Old Country Waltz
They were playing that old country waltz
In this empty bar echoin off the wall.
When I first got the bad news that you set me free,
The band played the old country waltz to me.
Well, I loved, and I lost, and I cried
The day that the two of us died.
Aint got no excuses, I just want to ride
While the band plays the old country waltz.
Out the window the moon shines
On the roofs of the cars
While I knock down tequila and salt
And the band plays the old country waltz.
And were playin it, that old country waltz
In this empty bar echoin off the wall.
Aint got no excuses, we just want to play
That good old country waltz.
I aint got no excuses, I just want to play
That good old country waltz.
That good old country waltz.

Many What If’s And More
What if Cinderella wasn’t a princess
But the advertiser of a new flavored jellybean
What if Snow White wasn’t pretty
But the ugliest hag ever seen
What if soccer wasn’t a game
But a new kind of disease
What if an oven isn’t used for warming food
But to make them freeze
What if tom wasn’t a cartoon
But a new mechanical device
That help cats in catching mice
Get very quick and wise
What if Jerry wasn’t a mouse
But another name for cherry
What if a mountain wasn’t mountain
But a new kind of berry
What if shoes weren’t used on feet
But to help us see
What if I wasn’t myself
I wonder who’d write this instead of me!

Church of the Little Drummer Boy
He didn't do it for money,
He didn't to it for power,
It wasn't an inside job,
And he probably wasn't real.
But he wasn't controlled by the Mafia,
Maybe he was just a dream,
Or maybe just a hope,
Of what Christmas might mean.
Over the years many a child
Has heard of the Little Drummer Boy,
How he played his drum for Jesus
To bring the Baby some joy.
He didn't do it to be a big shot,
He wasn't Ginger Baker,
He played out of musical love,
And he wasn't a faker.
If you're looking for religion,
The Drummer Boy is good to go,
I mean, he's as churchy as it gets,
Considering the show.

The Last Dance
He’d offered her his hand to dance
Politely, she’d declined.
“I have promised many others,
-perhaps another time.”
He accepted this with all good grace-
“Perhaps another time,
When your dance card is nearly full,
The last dance shall be mine.”
The night was young and she was fair,
Men clamored for their chance.
In some eyes she saw routine lust,
In others- true romance.
Her card was signed by many
There remained a single line.
She stopped back at her table
for a final cup of wine.
The dark and handsome stranger
was waiting for her there.
She took his hand without protest
as he rose up from his chair.
He led her to the dance floor
as the band played one last time.
The music was a stately waltz
done in three quarter time.
His arms were strong and masterful
as he led her in the dance
Her will seemed to desert her
as she fell into a trance.
In the half light she looked up
And searched his face and eyes
The eyes of Death looked back at her,
In lust for her demise..
Swept up in her dance with Death,
She uttered not a sound
for she was in his power now.
and destined for the ground.

Tell Me
Tell me I wasn't true
Tell me I didn't believe in you
Tell me a moment I didn't share
Tell me when I acted like I didn't care
Tell me a moment with me that was hard to bear
Tell me when I was fake
Tell me the time we spent wasn't great
Tell me I wasn't a good friend
Tell me I wouldn't have your back until the end
Tell me I treated you like a child
Tell me a time I couldn't make you smile
Tell me a time I didn't miss you
Tell me I never kissed you
Tell me a time I used you
Tell me a time I abused you
Tell me you're not all I have
Tell me when I didn't speak on your behalf
Tell me when I didn't have your back
What I'm seeing I feel like you're telling me all of that

Dance... If You Dare
Shall we dance, In a trance, Lost to the beat, So complete, It rolls through your head, Nothing need be said,
Just dance away, Just dance away, Dance away the whole damn day,
Let the music guide, Crush your pride, Shake those hips, Feel those lips, Don't give a care, Dance... If You Dare
Just dance away, Just dance away, Dance away the whole damn day,
