Thoughts of you

My words will carry swift upon the wind
and speed across the stormy ocean waves.
No hurricane will stunt their flying wings
or find them left outcast amongst the brave.
For though you think I am so faint of heart
and prone to acts that lack a mindful way,
In truth not one does play the smallest part
of knowing what my head would wish to say.
But words alone cannot express the true
profoundness, held within my thoughts of you.

In her name

In her name
~
I find her a-muse-ing
So delicate, beautiful and fair
That she plays upon my heart
A play of a thousand words
Like a butterfly serenade
A girl of dreamlike inspiration
Strikes a chord of verse
That my love is prone to song
To sing as softly sweet
As the clear ocean sky
For she is lit by the heavens
An array of stars above
So delicate, beautiful and fair
A girl who I am prone to say
A-muses me in such a way
I play with words in her name

The sentence of love...

Many thoughts live inside my head,
Yet quite often they go unsaid.
So many thoughts that were not spoken,
Were they merely just a token? ...

Were the thoughts that meant the most,
The ones I never got round to post?
Have I missed the chance to save us all?
I think the chances must be small...

For if those thoughts meant so much,
We should find a way to stay in touch.
Thought understands feelings in a way,
That mere words could never convey...

And just because these words go unsaid,
Does not mean to life that they are dead.
For special words have meaning so true,
The words I'm thinking of are 'I love you...'

So although the words I don't often say,
May not be heard each and every day.
When the sentence of love my head does start,
You shall live forever in my heart...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

I Want to Be True

I don't want to be clever or witty or wise
I just want to be true.

Truth?

Truth was us when, inside me, you looked into my eyes and found my love,
Truth was us when we laughed and played,
Truth was us when you cared too much for me to make love to me,
Truth was us, when knowing me, you were brave in your words and helped me be true.

Truth?

Truth was your tenderness, your joy, your heart.
Truth was my surrender, my giving, my happiness.
Truth was your love, was my love, was the love we created between us.
The truth was our honesty and ease.

Truth?

Truth is the emptiness I feel at my loss of you,
Truth is my naïve hope, all present, that you will come to me,
Truth is the pain at night while I grieve for you,
Truth is my smile and my love playing the memories.

Truth is this moment, the now, the present.

The truth is I had something more than wonderful, and I can't have it anymore.

The truth is I so wish I was with you.

Truth?

So many truths?

I will be true in the moment. x

Water Wings

Water Wings

I am of the water, and my dreams foretell my home.
I have dreamt of the water, it is where my mind does roam.
Life manages our paths by the steps that we take,
I want my path to lead to the ocean, where the waves do break.

The water glistens in my soul, and runs through my veins,
And when I am one with the water, I carry the reigns.
Whether on or under or flying above,
The water is my passion, it is my true love.

I wake from the night, from my hopes and my dreams
I wake to find a world with all water themes.
Surrounded by love and caressed by the air
I see the lord has accepted my little dare.

My dreams have become life, and I have transformed.
I am now an angel of the sea, and water wings I have formed.
The ocean, the sea, the lakes and rivers blue
They give me my strength and my life they do fuel.

My water wings glide and are as smooth as ice,
They are gift from the heavens and they much more than suffice.
I sit here and I rest, on the shore of the land,
Knowing, the lord is my savior, and my biggest fan.

Everywhere I searched for the words [1]

Everywhere I searched for the words
to express the depth of my true love to you
and nowhere could I find it in a book,
I could not even say the right words,
I could not express how much I wanted you here,
I could not give depth to feelings of dearness,
I could not even lay my soul bare at your feet,
still you were in my deepest thoughts,
in days and nights that I was missing you;
you are in my joy and sadness.

Wind Words

WHILST THE WIND BLOWS

THOUGHT-LOSING WORDS BLEW ALONG

REFLECTING ON THEIR OWN MONOLOGUES

KNOWING MORE THAN THEY SAY

WOULD STAY SILENT

IF WORDS UNDERSTAND

WHAT THEIR CONTENTS IS

BUT WHO KNOWS WHAT WORDS KNOW

WOULD THEY SHARE

WHAT WORDS UNDERSTAND

WHISPERING THEIR KNOWLEDGE

THOUGHT-LOSING AND SILENT

TO THE WIND

OH, WIND - WHAT WOULD HAPPEN

WHEN YOU KNOW

WHAT WORDS UNDERSTAND

ALL THEIR MEANINGS

SPOKEN INTO YOU

AND BEEN HEARD

READY FOR A NEW VOICE

PUTTING THOUGHTS SOFTLY

BETWEEN YOUR LETTERS

OH, LOVELY WIND

WOULD YOU CARRY YOUR WISDOM

ABOUT SPOKEN WORDS CONFIDENTIAL

TO THE WAITING ONES

AND GIVE BACK ALL YOUR KNOWLEDGE

TO SENDERS IN RETURN

WHAT WOULD THE WORLD KNOW

WHEN WINDS SHARE THEIR WISDOM

WHILST THE WIND BLOWS

Truth And Lies

Honesty flying around
The stories inconsistent
You tell me one thing
Another tells me different

Is there any truth left?
Are your words true words?
I know a lie's alive
I've been assured and reassured

Truth and lies
Fake or real
Messin' with my mind
Just take and steal

I'm not seeing straight
Literally, no lie
My eye for truth
Has been shot down, died

No mistakes and yet regret
Comes here and there and then
But when I step back
The situations a win-win

If your story is but true
I will believe it so
I will have made up my mind
Eyesight no longer blind

If only your mouth speaks truth
And your words are lies
I will pay attention & mention
And your story, you will revise

Ill mention your flawed words
Ill bring to notice:
Your story, you told it
My poem, I wrote this

Never in an ever
Fall for a clear lie
I see much much more
There's truth in my eye

Trying To Find The Words

JE ya'll!* JE ya'll!* I'm trying to find the words that'll keep her down Man I swear I'll keep her down*
This girl, she's so amazing* She's everything I dreamed that a woman could be* She sends all my senses into a whirlwind*
'Cause it's her eyes and her smell that get's me* And I think that I could be with her* If I could tell her how I feel* I'll let her know that this thang that I feel is real*
If I could find the words that'll put her down* Man I swear I'll keep her down, down* Trying to find the words to express how I'm feeling* Trying to let her know that
I'm through doubble dealing* Dont know what I'll do if I really lose your loving* I Gotta get my act together, put my baby first in line* Trying to find the words to express
how I'm feeling* Trying to find the words, find the words, find the word .... Dont know what I'd do if I really lose your loving* I Gotta get my act together, keep my
baby first in line ...* Girl, she keeps her faith in him* When I'm short on sticky, she's always got me* Make me feel just like a P.I.M.P* Naw, that just aint me, aint
even my league* Girl, know you got me crazy!* Shady girls done left a bad mark on my heart* Scarred me up, aint give a damn about my heart* Gotta get it right with
you* I need to find the words ...* I dont know, why I cant find the words to say* Exactly how I feel about you* But all I know, if you leave me, girl dont you leave me
I dont kow what I'll do* I dont know, I dont know, I dont know ...

The Ocean

1969 live version
--------------------------------------------
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the shore
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Earth is a hollow hair bought of a bigger head
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things down
...(unknown)
But here comes the waves
Down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land
That has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the shore
Here comes the ocean and the waves
Down by the sea
(incense or in sex or insects) for evil thoughts, thought of by selfish men
It nearly drives me crazy
I am a lazy son
I never get things done
...(unknown)
Here comes the waves down by the shore
Washing the eye of the land that has been down by the sea
Down by the sea
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Here come the waves
Peel slowly and see version
---------------------------------------------
Here comes the ocean
And the waves
Down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves
Where have they been?
Silver and black with night
Heres to a summers night
An empty splendid castle
Glowering alone at night
The princess has had a fright
Madness seeks out the lover
And here come the waves down by the shore
Washing the soul of the body
That comes from the depths of the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves down by the sea
Here comes the ocean
And the waves, where have they been
Dont swim tonight my love
The tide is out my love
Malcoms curse haunts our family
Oh yes, loud in which, ruler of filthy seas, revelling heavans justice
And here come the waves
And save for a scream
Theres much like a song
To be heard, in the wind, that blows by the sea.
Like the wind
Here come the waves,
Here come the waves,
Here come the waves

Poem

Words hung on paper
Like thoughts in the wind
Some flitter to and fro
But the good ones always seem to blow
Away and away,
Again and again.
Go down to the river of exile
Where the sad ones cry,
Go out to the catacombs
Where the old ones die...
Like a leaf in the fall
It's all such a temporary thing,
So put a little music with it
And hope it'll make someone's soul sing.
Slumbering forth with sadness
A mingled mixture of madness
This sobriquet symphony
Of mellow deep;
Heart felt longings,
Vagabond thoughts,
And lack of sleep -
Every bit of being blends
As awe and imagination together
Never end.
Mighty words in waves
Churn man's deep,
With wild wonders to reap.
Where mystery and majesty are born,
The poetic possibilities of translation
Range from sage to scorn.
In a million ways arriving
Within each new day
The great gift given,
If only wise enough words can be found
To say.
These are the forms and foundations of poem,
Read or written, loved or smitten,
Gathered together, or alone,
If one will only listen to hear
The faint whispers of Eternity speak,
Ever drawing nearer, and nearer...

Flying Without Wings

Everybody's looking for that something
One thing that makes it all complete
You find it in the strangest places
Places you never knew it could be

Some find it in the face of their children
Some find it in their lover's eyes
Who can deny the joy it brings
When you find that special thing
You're flying without wings

Some find it sharing every morning
Some in their solitary lives
You find it in the words of others
A simple line can make you laugh or cry

You find it in the deepest friendship
The kind you cherish all you life
And when you know how much that means
When you find that special thing
You're flying without wings

So impossible as it may seem
You've got to fight for every dream
'Cause who's to know
Which one you let go
Would have made you complete

Well for me it's waking up beside you
To watch the sunrise on your face
To know that I can say I love you
In any given time or place
It's little things that only I know
Those are the things that make you mine
And it's like flying without wings
'Cause you're my special thing
I'm flying without wings

And you're the place my life begins
And you'll be where it ends
I'm flying without wings
And that's the joy you bring
I'm flying without wings

Words of Lament

How it has become written
Sorrowfully into my thoughts
The silence of my lonesome night
The suffering of my lonely heart
I try to drown in spirits
In the hope of raising my own
I am as successful in doing this
As my unrequited love has been
Never achieving the desired answer
While often not asking the question
Time which is fleeting at best
Passes by with ever gathering pace
And I have wasted so much
In thoughts of fancy and love
Never making a decision or action
Just thinking of words and feelings
Held by a fear of what could be spoken
Without ever actually knowing
And all that’s left when the night is done
Are these thoughts, words of lament

The Desert Is In Your Heart

producer for bonnie: ?
Recorded in 1992 for sophie arbaniti 's album 'parafora', lyrics taken from
Careful listening.
First half of this song is in greek...so your guess is as good as mine - here's
The english part...
You move the veil from your face
And escape from the world that is hurting
You feel oppressed when you know
That the words are killing the meaning
There is no reason to hide in the dark
When you're far from the fighting
How can you dream in a world that is getting greyer than grey?
You don't have to hide your face, there's no disgrace
There's no harm in knowing that we're all a part of the human race
You have got to lift your head, think of what he said
You were born to know the truth, nothing but the truth, and what the truth is
Worth
Oh, the desert is in your heart
In your heart
The desert is in your heart
In your heart
It's so hard to try to forget
So many thinks you regret
You try to look back, but there's little to see
Just nothing can't take this pain from me
Oh, the desert is in your heart
In your heart
You don't have to hide your face
There's no disgrace
There's no harm in knowing we're all a part of the human race
You have got to lift your head, think of what he said
You were born to know the truth, nothing but the truth, and what the truth is
Worth
Oh, the desert is in your heart
In your heart
The desert is in your heart
In your heart
(greek)
In your heart

The desert is in your heart

Wrap My Words Around You

Is it fair to write a song to a woman
Is it fair play to try to win her heart
Is it right to bring her sonnets in the morning-time
To express the first few longings when they start
To express the first few longings when they start
Is it right to let her feeling rise to catch you
Is it ok when her heart begins to fall
Would you blame me if I wrap my words around you girl
Would I wrong you to say anything at all
Would I wrong you to say anything at all
But if I wrap my words around you
Wrap my words around you
If i wrap my words around you
Would you stay, would you stay, would you
Wrap my words around you
Wrap my words around you
If i wrap my words around you
Would you stay, would it play with your heart
Am I a hunter if i send poems to please you
Am I a cad if I mean everything I say
Should I even let you know this song's about you girl
Just because I want to see you smile today
And my words may bind you to me much too tightly
And you may choke upon them if we fall apart
It's not fair to write a song to a woman, no
Because a woman takes a song into her heart
Because a woman takes a song into her heart
So let me wrap my words around you
Wrap my words around you
Wrap my words around you
Till you stay, till you stay, let me
Wrap my words around you
Wrap my words around you
Darling, wrap my words around you
Til you stay, would it play with your heart

A Swarm Of Bees....

inside a frame a boy puts some words
he does not know how to choose wisely
he plays his game and goes on without really knowing
what happens next

the words begin to move and argue with each other
some have become elves and pumpkins and they crowd inside the frame
unmanageable now
the words cross the borders of the frame and begin to grow transparent wings
flying away like a swarm of bees to the sky
and the little boy is left with nothing but the emptiness of the slate

when he grows to become a man
somewhere in the middle of his dying age
he understands what that childhood game is all about
it is about a momentary crowd, the gathering and the bothering
and then the wings and winds and wondering
until what is left is the emptiness which he knows well
as the synonym of what others have died of...

nothingness....all the bees go there.

On Like River

We had such fun
Underneath the sun
But it's done
And time has won

In the ocean beneath
Washing away our feet
Offering my seat
And you go

On like river
Off like hurricane
Oh yeah

And you go
On like river
Off like hurricane
Can you feel my pain?

By the light in me
Helping you to see
Try to believe in me
Cuz, love, you go

On like river
Off like hurricane
Can you feel my pain?

I can't just move on
I just can't faze it out
Oh, no..

I think I'll run away
Nothing left to say
In the light of day
You go

On like river
Off like hurricane
Can you feel my pain?

Lost for words
Following the birds
May seem absurd
Cuz you go

On like river
Off like hurricane..

Please don't leave me
Standing, take me
In your arms..
