Words Of Wisdom

King Solomon was not a fool
When to the Lord he prayed,
For he knew well the Golden Rule
And this had been obeyed...
Yet now a kingdom he must guide,
Regardless, rich or poor,
As long as God stood side-by-side,
He could not want for more...

King Solomon was just a man,
He did not know all things
And yet he knew God had a plan,
God was the King of Kings...
So while God offered him a gift,
He served the kingdom best
If he could stem the tragic rift
With God and all the rest...

King Solomon desired most
God's wisdom here on Earth,
Yet not to brag and not to boast
Or seek to prove his worth...
He asked for wisdom, nothing else,
Not treasures or long life,
For these he knew were short term spells
While men on Earth survive...

King Solomon had pleased the Lord
Who gave these gifts to him
And all God's wisdom was outpoured
To fill him to the brim...
Consider wisdom and take heed
This poetry you see,
The Holy Bible's there to read...
Begin at Calvary!

I want to

I want to tell you a story, And you can read about it some more,

About a wise king called Solomon, who had servants do e Rey chore;

One day he heard the Lord God of Israel talk to him and say,

Because you chose to be my child, and my words you do obey,

I have decided to give you a gift and you can decide which to choose,

You can become very rich, so money, or wisdom, which can you use?

Solomon thought long and hard, and decided wisdom was the best,

And so God said because you wasn't greedy you can have the rest.

Solomon soon found out wisdom he did receive, from the Lord,

When 2 women came fighting over one baby boy he had heard;

The mother of the one who died said its mine the child that's alive,

But the other mother whose one who lived no that's mine, she does lie.

They both argued so king Solomon said cut the baby in two,

Let them share half each, In the bible you'll see it's true;

The real mother said no give to her, please don't destroy the boy,

But the other mum just kept saying slice him, she thought it like a toy.

So king Solomon said give the child to the mother over there,

She is the real mother, she was protecting him, cause she doth care;

Only a real mother could show so much love, enough to give away,

Than let her child be destroyed, Wise Solomon knew what to say.

Yes! Solomon received money as well, but becoming rich went to his head,

When he built such beautiful buildings, he forgot God, and said t'was I. Instead;

The Moral of this story, is don't forget to say Thanks to God for everything,

Never think that you did it all, God has made. So Give Praises to God as you sing.

Today... 'Greater than Solomon

Solomon with Christ the Lord could never compare
For none like my Lord Jesus can be found anywhere
Solomon's great wisdom and glory was renowned
But in Christ God's Wisdom and Glory can be found

The treasures of Solomon just faded away
But the vast riches of Jesus will always stay
Though wise and rich king Solomon turned out to be
Jesus Christ is so much more powerful than he.

Jesus my Lord and God is far beyond compare
And His glory with another He will not share
That is why the people on earth heard Him declare
That One greater than Solomon was standing there

The Beginning of Wisdom

God has put in His Word the fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom,
This instruction in Psalms is meant for all Believers not just some.

It's not a fear of man, but a deep reverence for God in one's heart,
And once you have this Holy Fear inside you will sense Wisdom start.

Today Christians seem to be very vulnerable to the enemy's attacks,
For a real Godly Fear with His Wisdom is something The Church lacks.

In The Church we have convinced ourselves of so many foolish things,
All the while as Christians ignoring the fact we are now new beings.

A lot of these things are not of The Spirit, but of man's own mind,
And many lead us to embrace the very things we should leave behind.

After King David had firmly established Israel into their new land,
He had passed the Kingdom down to Solomon with a new task at hand.

Humbled by the task of leading all the people of God's New Kingdom,
Solomon knew he needed Divine Guidance and asked for Godly Wisdom.

And with God's Wisdom Israel became the greatest nation ever known,
However, this mighty nation fell when Solomon chose to use his own.

And as Solomon needed God's Wisdom to lead the people of his nation,
We too in The Church need God's Wisdom to lead people to Salvation.

And because we are a royal priesthood leading others to The Kingdom,
It's time to truly fear God so that He can fill us with His Wisdom.

Great Indebtedness

GREAT INDEBTEDNESS

God asked to King Solomon
what he had wanted.
He answered:

WISDOM

God granted him wisdom
then he became the wealthiest king
of his time

I had been asking to God, the same God of King Solomon,
a better life for my wife, for my son.
God lifted me up

AT THE TOP

then I feel I have been among of
the most blessed husband and happiest
father on earth

To Mr. K, a God-sent instrument,
for my family's dream, :
Your pure heart, genuine kindness and
warmth hospitality -
We have indebted most.

I am the son of King Solomon

I am Raouf the son of Solomon the son of King David.
Inherited wisdom that grows, till my happiness faded!

Long time ago my father prayed for wisdom.
He didn’t know that later on I will be the victim.

Because in wisdom there is much sadness,
The light hurt my eye, longing for darkness.

And now I have seen all the miracles of life.
“Nothing worth” the fact the hurts like a knife

The price I have to pay for having a Royal blood
Seeing blind people around me who think that I am odd

I am Raouf the son of Solomon the son of King David.
The one who live in grief while people thought that he’s granted

Kebra Nagast – Ark of the Covenant

A new Mystery for Me:

The Ethiopian Queen known as Queen Makeda
came to visit King Solomon of Israel
we read in Chapter 25 of the ancient
Ethiopian Epic Kebra Nagast

King Solomon sent her home
with the gift of half his kingdom
carried through the night
as swift as an eagle in his flight

On Solomon’s secret Flying Machine
afterwards she gave birth to his son
known as King Menelik
who returned to King Solomon

In his Flying Aircraft
to carry off the Ark of the
Covenant to its final
resting place

The town of Axun that had been
founded by Noah’s grandson
so history came
full circle

And I can breathe again:
The Mystery is still
unsolved!

Vanity, Vanity

Vanity, Vanity, all is vanity; words expressed to you and me,
All our labors, here on earth, and what ultimately is its worth?
All men are born to just die, a common destiny for you and I,
And all this life is meaningless, words Solomon uttered to us.

The wisest man to ever live, parting words that he would give,
To all of the people of his age, recorded on Scripture’s page,
And even for our age to read; words of wisdom we can heed,
As we reflect, also, on our life, in the blessings and the strife.

He speaks of life upon earth, through to death, from his birth,
Of all the events in between, as we are in this temporal scene,
And just how empty it can be, when peoples discount eternity,
And that lasting Hope, God gives, to every soul that still lives.

Friend, Ecclesiastes is the book, if one desires to take a look,
At other things Solomon said; wisdom, many souls have read,
While he draws conclusions to, life lived daily, by me and you,
On the planet, of God’s Design, Who changes not, in our time.

With everything Solomon knew, what is a conclusion he drew?
In all times consider The Creator, this world’s Lord and Savior,
Fear God and keep His Law, as He alone, can save one’s soul,
And use your life to glorify, The Lord God, Who reigns on high.

King Solomon and the Ants

Out from Jerusalem
The king rode with his great
War chiefs and lords of state,
And Sheba's queen with them;

Comely, but black withal,
To whom, perchance, belongs
That wondrous Song of songs,
Sensuous and mystical,

Whereto devout souls turn
In fond, ecstatic dream,
And through its earth-born theme
The Love of loves discern.

Proud in the Syrian sun,
In gold and purple sheen,
The dusky Ethiop queen
Smiled on King Solomon.

Wisest of men, he knew
The languages of all
The creatures great or small
That trod the earth or flew.

Across an ant-hill led
The king's path, and he heard
Its small folk, and their word
He thus interpreted:

'Here comes the king men greet
As wise and good and just,
To crush us in the dust
Under his heedless feet.'

The great king bowed his head,
And saw the wide surprise
Of the Queen of Sheba's eyes
As he told her what they said.

'O king!' she whispered sweet,
'Too happy fate have they
Who perish in thy way
Beneath thy gracious feet!

'Thou of the God-lent crown,
Shall these vile creatures dare
Murmur against thee where
The knees of kings kneel down?'

'Nay,' Solomon replied,
'The wise and strong should seek
The welfare of the weak,'
And turned his horse aside.

His train, with quick alarm,
Curved with their leader round
The ant-hill's peopled mound,
And left it free from harm.

The jewelled head bent low;
'O king!' she said, 'henceforth
The secret of thy worth
And wisdom well I know.

'Happy must be the State
Whose ruler heedeth more
The murmurs of the poor
Than flatteries of the great.'

King Solomon

The women who King Solomon loved
the most
were those women
whose soul he'd imagined
like the rivers flow.

But immediately after
this ardent desire
old Solomon coolly concluded
that the rivers' flow leads them to the sea
and to that baundless blue of the oceans
where all the Temples and Sins
of the Earth are devitalised
and the might thus lose the control
he had over Women.

Then King Solomon
in a fit of anger remembered that he was
in command
and in the case of danger
he would know how to stop
these maddened rivers.

But this was not the only danger...
Besides the seas and the rivers
the female view of the cosmos also included the sky..

Indeed of late
he had information from his secret agents
that women were exchanging looks with the Stars
and..consequently
their hearts which he had assumed
were near at hand and under complete possession
like the walls of palaces
burned as one with those distant fires.

And thus in that way
King Solomon began to repent
because before he created his Kingdom
he had not thought of incorporating all the Stars
in the celestial territory of the Monarchy
and now at this advanced age
he had to do a detailed study of Astrology.

But old Solomon
had discovered a long time ago all on his own
that Heaven and the Mysteries of the Heaven
were like women
whom he had never loved.

Since the Astrologers of the Future
exploiting the derangement of mortals
entered into negotations with the Heavens
he from the moment charged them
with enormous spiritual failures
and provocative stupidity
the would have deprived Women
of that Amour which broce down fences
with the force of the enticements
to reach the Promised Land
like a divine oracle
rushing with the conviction of rivers.....

Sonnet: 'Ask and Ye shall Receive!

King Solomon asked God for great wisdom,
To rule his subjects justly all his life;
He blundered not but did mistakes seldom,
And thanked God for this gift amidst his strife!

God gives His special blessings to some souls,
But punishes them if promises aren’t kept;
God is ready to grant us many roles,
But won’t excuse if we had only slept!

O God, I will not ask of Thee for wealth:
For, I can’t take it back with me when dead;
O God, I ask for just my soul’s good health,
Wisdom, contentment and a balanced head!

God, give me faith unshakeable always,
To show the world your love and pleasant ways!

Pearls of Wisdom

Pearls of wisdom as never before, from the mouth of Christ our Lord,
Speaking words with authority, that come from the Throne of Eternity.
A wisdom which exceeded Solomon, whose heart was divided by sin,
Christ, with a heart perfectly pure, spoke words that will surely endure.

Pearls of wisdom, pure and divine, words spoken, for men of all time,
Directed to every tribe and nation; words of our Lord God’s Salvation.
Salvation sent from God above, through His Son, to show us His love,
Love that exceeded wisdom of earth, and received through a new birth.

Pearls of wisdom not well embraced, by many whom Christ had faced,
Although in God these men believed, Christ by them was not received.
Much of His wisdom is contrary to, that human reason of me and you,
But Christ’s Wisdom is greater than, all of that wisdom of worldly men.

Pearls of wisdom to all will come, to those who truly know God’s Son,
And dare to give their life to Him, Christ, who saves men from their sin.
Sin which blinds the minds and ways, of the many world leaders today,
And in their wisdom they cannot see, God’s timeless Truths of Eternity.

Pearls of wisdom God offers to men, when in Christ we’re Born Again,
And the pearls, spoken by Christ, become to us, the foundation of life.
As believers live to honor The Son, bringing Light of Truth to everyone,
Leading men to an Eternal Kingdom, using Truth and pearls of wisdom.

The Might Of The Messiah!

From Heaven's glory Jesus went
To save the world below
And fulfilling each commandment
Meant holy blood must flow...
As Jesus prayed that He be spared,
God's angel strengthened Him,
Such that He stood, no longer scared,
With faith filled to the brim!

The greatest story ever told
Was of the King of Kings,
As Jesus shed His blood like gold,
Behold how His back stings...
While still alive, His body torn,
A crown of thorns above,
They mocked the Saviour so forlorn,
With scorn instead of love...

Behold the Man! The crowd was cruel,
His kingship tattered now,
Such that their wisdom thought Him fool,
Not worthy of a bow...
Yet Jesus knew what lay ahead
And prophesied as much,
To say that He, when He was dead,
Would rise... and stay in touch...

The soldiers guarded in the gloom,
Where Jesus' shroud was laid,
They slept as God moved rock from tomb...
The news made folks afraid!
Disciples met the Saviour soon,
Thus Thomas praised the Lord,
When forced to sing another tune
That must not be ignored...

The might of the Messiah lives!
The Holy Spirit's gift
Is granted as the Lord forgives,
When true faith heals the rift...
That's why the Holy Bible's read
By billions here on Earth,
For what's in store and dead ahead
As Israel proves his worth...

The time shall come when Christ returns,
The whole wide world to own
And that's what every student learns
Who seeks what God has shown...
The world made new, no idle boast,
Yet Jesus, make things right!
Return with God's angelic host
With power and with might!

The Lord's Scepter Shall Never Depart

God chose the man Abram to start his plan of reconciliation,
He believed and his descendents would be a mighty little nation.
When God first spoke to Abram, he told him to leave his relations,
Later changing his name to Abraham, as the father of many nations.

For through his seed God would bless all the nations of the earth,
Later Isaiah prophesied this seed would come through a virgin birth.
From the tribe of Judah the Lord's Scepter shall never depart,
True Words spoken by Isaac’s son Jacob, right from his heart.

This was Jacob's blessing to his son Judah at his departure,
Spoke for the Father of All Nations, Judah couldn't be any surer.
God began to fulfill His promise with one of Judah's very own,
For through King David He would establish an everlasting throne.

God used his son Solomon to build a temple in Jerusalem for The Lord.
Through Nathan, God told David that his Kingdom would forever endure.
Although the Kingdom grew great under Solomon, his heart turned away,
So God tore away the Kingdom, but for David's sake Judah He let stay.

It will be The Lion of Judah, who fulfills the promise of The Lord,
It is under Christ, The Son of David, that the land will be restored.
However, many countries will be left out of God's plan of Salvation,
For they have harbored hatred and despised this tiny little nation.

Seeking Godly Wisdom

Receive The Word in your heart, and you'll give Wisdom her start,
In your conduct as you live this life, while you follow Jesus Christ,
This, if Wisdom you will treasure, indeed, she'll guide you forever,
Helping us on a path that's right; leading us to walk in God's Light.

With Wisdom's discerning heart, from The Lord you will not depart,
As her discernment comes your way, she will lead you day by day;
Seek out Wisdom as if silver, and through grace you shall find her,
Seeking her as hidden treasure, when found, she'll leave you never.

Through Wisdom one understands, where a Holy Lord God stands,
And exactly what God expects of us, as we follow The Lord Jesus,
By Wisdom, we know to fear The Lord, when His Word is explored,
As like silver is when we mine, we learn of God's Righteous design.

Wisdom, in a world like this, allows us know God's Righteousness,
His Righteous Judgment we can see, by God's Justice and Equity,
Wisdom puts us on a righteous path, leading far from God's wrath,
Saving God's own from evil men, and their ways God will condemn.

Godly Wisdom shall lead all of us, onto a path of God's Goodness,
Preserving us through all these days, while we lift to God the praise,
Who is the source of True Wisdom, leading men to God's Kingdom,
His Kingdom that's forever friend, where God's Wisdom has no end.

Masonic

The prominent names connected with Masonary are Kings
Solomon and Hiram and Saint John, the parent Lodge
is King Hiram in Ingersoll, and Saint John is the off-spring.
Both masters in 1884 are legal gentlemen.

Craft of King Hiram and Saint John
They figurative work on stone,
King Hiram he is the old sire
And he was famous King of Tyre.

But great as King upon a throne
Is the good, kind, true Saint John ;
Cathedrals did craftsmen raise,
Fills all our mind now with amase.

No modern chisel hath the power
To trace such leaf, and bud, and flower ;
But though our structures now are rude
Let us all make the mortar good.

And this injunction never spare
To have the work both plum and square,
And it must have no crack or flaw
So masters will lay down the law.

Of all our work this is the chief,
To give the needy ones relief ;
And with truth and brotherly love
We sublime structure raise above.

The greatest honor has been won
By that great builder, Solomon,
And craftsmen o'er the world do sing
The praises of that mighty King.

Wisdom and Understanding.

King Solomon, the wise one said,
Find wisdom, get understanding my beloved.
The more knowledge you pick up in time,
Receive more self confidence, takes you out of the grime.

Wisdom cannot be given, the laws of life has to be observed,
Sometimes on the hard way, but eventually it will be deserved,
As knowledge is power, eventually you see the reality
And you live your life in freedom, peace and dignity.

Keep on observing and learning everything on your way,
Be patient, never too proud, only humble, this I can say.
Eventually you will see the light,
And you will realize your power and might.
Which were always with you. that's your birth right.

the old books of ancient
the ancient wisdom
of two men
two wise men
with good hearts
and good minds
one by name of Luqman
and the other man
is the great porphet-king Solomon
I didn't find these two books
but I found
THe wise words
of these two men
The songs
of wisdom's book
pouring from the heaven
to the heart
the MAN with NO FAITH in ALLAH
is NO MAN
BE faithful then your illness is all gone
THere is holy obligation upon man

Queen Of Sheba

From Sheba a distant report
Of Solomon's glory and fame,
Invited the queen to his court,
But all was outdone when she came;
She cried, with a pleasing surprise,
When first she before him appeared,
How much, what I see with my eyes,
Surpasses the rumour I heard!

When once to Jerusalem come,
The treasure and train she had brought;
The wealth she possessed at home,
No longer had place in her thought:
His house, his attendants, his throne,
All struck her with wonder and awe;
The glory of Solomon shone,
In every object she saw.

But Solomon most she admired,
Whose spirit conducted the whole;
His wisdom, which God had inspired,
His bounty and greatness of soul;
Of all the hard questions she put,
A ready solution he showed;
Exceeded her with and her suit,
And more than she asked him bestowed.

Thus I when the gospel proclaimed
The Saviour's great name in my ears,
The wisdom for which he is famed,
The love which to sinners he bears;
I longed, and I was not denied,
That I in his presence might bow;
I saw, and transported I cried,
A greater than Solomon Thou!

My conscience no comfort could find,
By doubt and hard questions opposed;
But He restored peace to my mind,
And answered each doubt I proposed:
Beholding me poor and distressed,
His bounty supplied all my wants;
My prayer could have never expressed
So much as this Solomon grants.

I heard, and was slow to believe,
But now with my eyes I behold,
Much more than my heart could conceive,
Or language could ever have told:
How happy thy servants must be,
Who always before thee appear!
Vouchsafe, Lord, this blessing to me,
I find it is good to be here.
