Life, like poker has an element of risk. It shouldn't be avoided. It should be faced.

I Shouldn't … but, I do.
I like the way you look at me,
Every time you look at me...
I shouldn't
But I do
I shouldn't
But I do.
I like the way you talk to me,
When you say the things you shouldn't be...
I shouldn't
But I do
I shouldn't
But I do.
I liked the feeling of your company,
When you'd carve out some time for me...
I shouldn't
But I do
I shouldn't
But I do.
I like the sound of your voice,
Pulling at me, like I have no choice,
I shouldn't
But I do
I shouldn't
But I do.
Thoughts of you are frequent for me,
Though, I try not to think of you.
I shouldn't
But I do
I shouldn't
But I do.
I can't help that I feel this way,
Believe me, it's much to my dismay,
There wasn't
But,
NOW
There is a
YOU...
If you only knew,
How much I try,
How often I fail..
When I try
To try
Not to think of
YOU.

That Is the Convenience
You have every right,
To see your life from your perspective.
Only you know what is best,
Better than the rest.
We all have our own realities.
And that is the convenience!
Truth at all cost,
Can be avoided at our own risk!
No one ever knows who speaks it.
Or allows it to exist!

Upon the Fish in The Water
The water is the fish's element;
Take her from thence, none can her death prevent;
And some have said, who have transgressors been,
As good not be, as to be kept from sin.
2.
The water is the fish's element:
Leave her but there, and she is well content.
So's he, who in the path of life doth plod,
Take all, says he, let me but have my God.
3.
The water is the fish's element,
Her sportings there to her are excellent;
So is God's service unto holy men,
They are not in their element till then.

A Game Of Poker
A deck of cards, and I think of the game poker
An ace is a joker
Or a choker
In the game of poker
You can win from behind
With five, four or three of a kind
Never be in a rush
To dish out a flush
When you do, rub it in a a blush
This game of poker, I love so much
Every card and every single touch
Winners, beginners, high shakers and losers

Shovel And Tongs
The Poker proposed to the shovel
That they should be man and wife,
'I think,' said he, 'that we could agree
As we journey along through life.'
The Shovel blushed as she answered,
'I thank you kindly, Mister,
But my promise belongs to the faithful Tongs,
So I only can be your sister.'
And when the couple were married
The Stove gave the Shovel away;
And it seemed too bad that the Poker, poor lad,
Was the Tongs' best man on that day.
But the Poker soon after was wedded
To the hearth broom, slender and slick;
And 'twas whispered about Mrs. Tongs was put out
Because he found comfort so quick.

Dog Faced Boy
Eels - dog faced boy
-----------------------
Coming home from the school today
Crying all along the way
Aint no way for a boy to be
Begging ma to shave me please
You little punks think you own this town
Well someday someones gonna bring you down
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
You, take back what you said now
Thats the last time I cry
You tell me what it is to be a friend, now
till I walk beside you on the street now
Ma wont shave me
Jesus cant save me
Dog faced boy
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
Life aint pretty for a dog faced boy
Going back to the school tomorrow
Hang my hairy head in sorrow
Aint no way for a boy to be
Aint no way to set me free, now
Ma wont shave me
Jesus cant save me
Dog faced boy
Ma wont shave me
Jesus cant save me
Dog faced boy

I completely take on the risk, the poker game, which being an artist means, and I'm going to try to make a film which honestly reflects what I have in my head.

The Rare Flower
There's beauty in such a sacred structure, oh,
That thing that is nurtured and loved.
It's quite an occasion.
It's driving me crazy.
I'm not allowed to touch on lust.
I've gotta get a hold of myself.
I mustn't admit it.
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't
Pick the rare flower.
I don't see why I shouldn't,
Well I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't
Pick the rare flower.
Whoooo
Walking in a Paradise or Eden,
Whoa, temptation:
Give me one second to succumb.
It's calling me.
With a menacing whisper of,
Magic offer a-charming me./Magical world enchanting me.
Why I've gotta get a hold of myself,
You see, but it ain't easy.
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't
Pick the rare flower.
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't,
I don't see why I shouldn't
Pick the rare flower.
Whoooo

I avoided nudity unless a film couldn't be told without those scenes. If you look at my films, few of them have that element, yet nudity and male fantasies have become emblematic of my work.

I don't care who you love. If you love this country enough to risk your life for it, you shouldn't have to hide who you are.
Initial feedback we got from people was that Poker could and should be a product in its own right. For us, that was definitely a case of us not seeing the forest for the trees since we are Poker nuts.
No man is worth his salt who is not ready at all times to risk his well-being, to risk his body, to risk his life, in a great cause.

The reason is that for many years I have avoided reading anything whatsoever that approaches my own line of country, out of a somewhat fanatical desire to avoid the risk of unconscious imitation.

Shouldn't Be Ashamed
To live without a savior, answer to his name,
Shouldn't be afraid, shouldn't be ashamed
Like a kid behind the counter remembering your name,
Shouldn't be afraid, shouldn't be ashamed
If it's not like I told you, then it's still your call
You should live how you want, stay with me, we should stay apart
Just shouldn't ever have to be this hard
Like a man on the sidewalk remembering your face,
Shouldn't look away, shouldn't be afraid
He remembers when they still wore gaiters, World War One
Shouldn't be afraid, shouldn't be ashamed
If it's not like I told you, then it's still your call
You should live how you want, stay with me, we should stay apart
Just shouldn't ever have to be this hard

Risk
flowers
bloom
revealing
its inner
beauty
secrets
earth
blooms
shedding
age old secrets
women
bloom
men
bloom
slowly
but surely
everything reveals
what it really is!
risk or no risk!
Risk
And then the day came,
when the risk
to remain tight
in a bud
was more painful
than the risk
it took
to Blossom.

Faith always contains an element of risk, of venture; and we are impelled to make the venture by the affinity and attraction which we feel in ourselves.
Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (lyrics)
You spurn my natural emotions
You make me feel like dirt
And I'm hurt
And if I start a commotion
I run the risk of losing you
And that's worse
Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
You shouldn't've fallen in love with
I can't see much of a future
Unless we find out what's to blame
What a shame
And we won't be together much longer
Unless we realize that we are the same
Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
You shouldn't've fallen in love with
You disturb my natural emotions
You make me feel like dirt
And I'm hurt
And if I start a commotion
I'll only end up losing you
And that's worse
Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
You shouldn't've fallen in love with
Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
Ever fallen in love
In love with someone
You shouldn't've fallen in love with
Fallen in love with
Ever fallen in love with someone
You shouldn't've fallen in love with
