The Most Powerful Poem Of Them All!

There's a poem stored in Heaven
Lord Jesus wrote one day,
For each child of God forgiven,
Lost lambs who went astray...
That poem borne of knowledge
And God-blessed prophecy
Would later grant Him courage
When He faced Calvary...
The words still echoed in His mind
Each time that He was whipped,
Reminding Him God loved Mankind
As even more flesh ripped...
The verses helped Him hold back tears
That lesser men would weep,
Enduring pain and mortal fears,
His sacrifice to keep...
The final verse kept faith alive
Because it was sublime,
It promised God would soon revive
The Lamb of God in time...
Lord Jesus took Man's sins on Him,
Upon the Cross of Christ...
What's the title of His poem?
Believe and be baptised!

Who Is Jesus Of Nazareth?

Who is Jesus of Nazareth? God's truth I'll tell you now!
A miracle by virgin birth blessed Mary would allow.
Through David's royal line this child was long since prophesied...
In Bethlehem, God reconciled each promise He supplied.
From Genesis, we learn of Christ, the title Jesus owns.
And from the moment He's baptised, He's led till He atones...
He's called the holy Lamb of God, He's called the Prince of Peace,
He's called to sacrifice His Blood to gain the Kingdom's keys!
He called Himself the Sinner's Friend! None else could pay the price!
Enduring all until the end, He is our sacrifice...
God helped Him to fulfil His goals! God tells us to repent...
No other name can save lost souls! No second Son was sent!
Made perfect through His suffering, God raised Him from the dead...
From solid rock recovering the life's blood that He shed!
He prophesied that this would show He was God's Son and more
And share God's Spirit here below, so Christians could be sure!
Yes, sure and certain, strong to save is Jesus, Lord and King
And blessed are those who pray with faith like eagles on the wing!
Disciples stand against the night! They preach of Calvary!
At times to pray with all their might, 'Lord, set sin's captives free! '
Eternity awaits us all, God wants each soul to live...
It's up to us to hear God's call, else He cannot forgive...
A billion here, a billion there... God knows we've misbehaved...
Lord Jesus, You've made us aware how much we must be saved!

For God So Loved The World

For God so loved the world He gave
His one and only Son,
His Holy Child who was so brave
He did what must be done...
He gave His life, His final breath
That He might be our King...
Behold Jesus of Nazareth,
To us, He's everything!
The God who made the Universe
Can hear us, none ignored
And spare us from Man's sinful curse
By Jesus Christ, the Lord...
For who else died to rescue us,
So many years ago?
He blesses us and lives though us,
If we let His love flow...

God calls us from the Devil's rule,
So we are born again,
To cast away the inner fool
That taunts us now and then...
Forsaking feelings, Christians live,
Past doubts of every kind,
Deciding we can not forgive,
But God helps change our mind...
God's plans for us are Heaven-bound,
Not finished here on Earth,
Where every demon thought is found
And proved to hold no worth...
Did Jesus brave the Cross of Christ,
So we could all be rich?
The Lamb of God was sacrificed,
To grant Mankind God's bridge!

Saint Paul believed God had a plan,
He preached from house-to-house,
In service to his fellow man,
His children and his spouse...
When whipped like Jesus Christ before,
Saint Paul still carried on.
Awaiting miracles in store,
Until his life was gone...
The Church continues to this day,
Blessed by the words Paul wrote,
Because in faith, with much to say,
He shared God's antidote...
The poor, the weak, the frail, the sad,
The lost and lonely, too,
Have found by faith they can be glad
And so, dear friend, can you.

But gladness comes as but a gift,
Something we have not earned,
So as it comes, look up and lift
Your arms with hopes still yearned,
Then pray for others, if you would,
To grant them God's relief,
So that they, too, learn God is good
And turn from disbelief...
For God so loved the world He gave
His one and only Son,
His Holy Child who was so brave
He did what must be done...
He gave His life, His final breath
That He might be our King...
Behold Jesus of Nazareth,
To us, He's everything!

You Mark My Words!

'You mark my words, ' the Cabbie said,
To his fare for the night,
'Us Christians know what lies ahead
And we will steer you right.'
Then he explained his earnest faith
In Jesus Christ the Lord
And said that He was strong to save,
That's why He is adored.

'You mark my words, ' the Cabbie said,
'Christ is the light of men!
Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead!
He's coming back again!
The Holy Bible's prophecies
Are meant to put us straight.
They prove Christ is the Prince of Peace
For whom us Christians wait.'

'You mark my words, ' the Cabbie said,
'Lord Jesus died for you!
Upon that Cross His Blood was shed
To prove God's love is true.
For all our sins He took the blame,
Then took our sins away.
That's why us Christians praise His Name!
That's why us Christians pray.'

'You mark my words, ' the Cabbie said,
To his fare for the night,
'Us Christians must be Spirit-led,
Serve God with all our might! '
The passenger had understood.
He was a Christian, too.
His heart was warmed, 'Our God is good!
Good night and God bless you! '

Worthy is The Lamb That Was Slain

Who was this Lamb that once was slain,
The Saviour that they scourged,
With vicious whips to inflict pain,
Then on the tree was cursed?
Who was this Man once hoisted high
At callous Calvary?
What was God's plan that He should die
For sinners just like me?

For all have sinned and gone astray,
Like lost lambs far and wide.
Except for Him, no sins to pay.
Yet for us crucified.
No easy death, no quick release,
No gently passing on.
No Halleluyahs borne of peace
Before His breath had gone.

No, this was courage at its height,
Enduring to the end.
Through faith from knowledge and insight,
Each second there to spend.
He didn't call an angel down!
He didn't fight God's will.
He was the King who wore His crown,
Each dropp of blood to spill.

To think that some despise Him now
And mock Him to this day,
Who wore His crown upon His brow
And for us chose to stay.
And only when He'd saved my soul
And yours and yours and yours,
Could He relinquish all control,
For God to bless His cause.

That's why God raised Him from the dead!
That's why God blessed His Name!
That's why Christ's Blood is called sacred!
Because He bore our shame.
Not for Himself did Jesus bleed,
Disgraced to suffer loss.
How worthy is this Lamb we need
Who died upon the Cross.

Real Meaning Of Life

The real meaning of present life, begins at The Cross of Christ,
The cross on Mount Calvary, where Christ died for you and me,
Anywhere you travel on this sod, the Cross points men to God,
With a meaning far much higher, than any human earthly desire.

The Cross, purposed in this life, for man's Savior, Jesus Christ,
For the earthly life of Christ Jesus, not for Him, but for all of us,
His purpose came with a price, which was to be God's sacrifice,
As The Lord God purposed for Him, to be The Lamb for our sin.

Christ's example is for all men, in this world, God did condemn,
After sin had entered the earth, then The Lord put down a curse;
With a plan God had initiated, in a place where Christ was hated,
Crying for Him to be crucified; for them and All, Christ had died.

The Lord had left Heaven's majesty, to die for sinners at Calvary,
Surrendering His life for sinful man, all part of God's eternal plan,
Where Christ became sin for us, so we could gain righteousness,
This that through Jesus Christ, fallen man could attain eternal life.

For believers now on this earth, our present life has eternal worth,
Now with that promise of paradise, we are to be a living sacrifice,
Surrendering to God, all our life, to be witnesses for Jesus Christ,
So others, by the Cross of Calvary, may also secure life eternally.

Lord Jesus, Hold Me!

Lord Jesus hold me!
Please lead me to the Light!
Lord Jesus hold me!
Please feed me some insight!
You loved me on Calvary!
On Calvary, it's true!
Nobody's loved as quite
As much as You!

Lord Jesus hold me,
Hold me to You!
Receive the very heart of me,
Today, eternally!
Lord Jesus hold me,
Hold me to You!
To find You was my destiny,
My ecstasy, my liberty!
Jesus hold me...
Lord Jesus hold me!

Lord Jesus hold me!
Please never let me go!
Yet please don't scold me!
I really want to grow!
Teach me from each Bible book!
Communion bread and wine!
Yet most of all,
Forgiveness that's divine!

Lord Jesus hold me,
Hold me to You!
Receive the very heart of me,
Today, eternally!
Lord Jesus hold me,
Hold me to You!
The Passion sacrificed for me,
The Blood Atonement meant for me!
Jesus loves me!
Lord Jesus loves me! !

Easter 2007

Christ was born;
Christ had died;
Christ had risen;
Christ will come again!

Joy came down to earth
By baby Jesus’ birth;
Hope lost when He died
Was regained forever
When He arose alive
On the third day.

Jesus is our Savior;
Jesus is Redeemer;
Jesus is our Heavenly Lord;
Son of the living God.

Jesus is the love of God
Transformed into man
And dwelt amongst us;
Suffered and died
For all mankind’s sins
On the holy cross,
And resurrected;
So that, all who repent,
Can gain forgiveness of sins
And reach heaven!

Good Friday...

Behold the wood that went to make the cross
That bore the Saviour Lord, King Jesus Christ:
The holy cross at Calvary on which
Was hung, the Redeemer of mankind race!

That man was only Son of God in flesh,
Who suffered, shed His precious blood as price
For every sin of everyone on earth,
Of Adam and of Eve in lineage!

It wasn’t about the cross that Jesus bore;
It was about the One who hung on it!
He came to earth as Mary’s baby boy,
And gave to men the Good News, peace and joy!

The cross of wood assumed significance
When Jesus died upon it for our sins;
The sacrifice supreme was love of God
For creature man of clay whom He had made!

When Christ resurrected upon third day,
And won o’er death and satan for all times,
The holy cross became the weapon sole
That scares away the devils back to hell!

The cross became the symbol of Christians,
Reminding man of Salvation for all,
As Christ had paid the price on our behalf,
And turned to be the Truth, Light, Way to God!

The holy cross beckons each one of us
To take up each one’s cross and follow Christ;
It is the only hope for all mankind
As life on earth becomes so meaningful!

God’s Love was born on Christmas day as Christ!
Man’s sins nailed Him to death upon the cross!
Christ’s obeisance to Father freed mankind
If repentant, from Fiery Pit of hell!

Reflect on passions Christ had undergone,
Before He died upon the holy cross;
Follow His teachings and precepts for man;
Heaven is nigh for sinners penitent!

Are You Going To Heaven

Are you going to Heaven

Do you know how to go to heaven? The bible tells the way

It's not through anything we could do, we are all sinners gone astray

We cannot change ourselves, our hearts are sinful and black

The bible says we've all gone our own way and are totally off track

There is no way we could ever be good enough, that we know for sure

So God in his great love and mercy provided the perfect cure

He gave the perfect sacrifice that could make our black heart white

It is the precious blood of Jesus, who gave his life to make it right

Jesus shed his blood on Calvary to wash us from our sin

He does all the changing of our heart when we invite him in

Just put your faith in Christ and trust in him alone

His dying on the cross paid it all and did for all our sins atone

Jesus' shed blood will wash your heart and cleanse all sin away

You'll receive the gift of eternal life and in Heaven you will be someday

Just come to Jesus as you are, it was for sinners his blood outpoured

Then you can rest assured you are forgiven and he will be your Lord

Your name will be written down in the Lamb's Book of Life and can never be crossed out

You'll know you're on your way to Heaven and never again have to doubt

Romans 3: 10 -12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way..

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Born From Above

There are many men upon this earth, who never heard of a spiritual birth,
Like Nicodemus, a curious one, a Pharisee, who questioned God’s Son.
Christ replied to Nicodemus in love, that man must be born from above,
Born of God, through Jesus Christ, who came to grant all men New Life.

Not born a second time, physically, but, in Christ, Born Again spiritually,
Born of God’s Spirit, so we can see, with our heart, The Truth of eternity.
With a focus that is now upon God, as you continue on this earthly sod,
With a Hope we didn’t have before, through Jesus Christ our Risen Lord.

Nicodemus, although a religious man, was not fit for God’s Eternal Plan.
For apart from the Savior’s Love, he would not see The Kingdom above.
Alone, man’s religious affiliation, has no bearing on the Lord’s Salvation,
But, simply your belief in God’s Son, who died on a cross for everyone.

To be born again of God’s Spirit, just accept God’s Truth as you hear it,
Just accept Christ, who died for sins, and New Life for you then begins.
All your flesh will remain the same, although you’ve become Born Again,
It’s your heart which God changes, as your inner thoughts He rearranges.

Just like a child is born into life, through faith we’re born in Jesus Christ,
When born anew into God’s family, to become His child through eternity.
Born from above, to live for Him, Jesus Christ, who died for all our sins,
Saving us at the cross of Calvary, Christ provides us a new life eternally.

Advice In The Wilderness

I dreamt I saw Christ walking
Within the wilderness...
And with Him, Satan talking,
To curse and not to bless...
I watched the Devil laughing
At Jesus all alone,
And as the Lord was starving,
Advised, 'Make bread from stone...'

Lord Jesus quoted what He'd learnt,
That Man needs more than bread,
That comes to us from ovens burnt,
So that each one is fed...
Each word of God can feed the soul,
As if a child within,
So that it gains some self-control
And faith that won't give in...

Then Satan promised all the lands,
The kingdoms he possessed,
If Jesus merely raised His hands
In worship, He'd be blessed!
Lord Jesus knew His Father's will,
The Lamb of God was He!
The Saviour who would climb that hill
That men called Calvary!

The Devil merely cleared his throat,
As he continued on
And of the Scriptures he took note,
'One life, then it is gone...
If you fell from a mountain top,
God would protect His Son...'
But Jesus Christ refused to drop,
To test what could be done...

To Calvary, Christ went to die...
A crown of thorns to wear...
To suffer shame for you and I,
Man's shameful sins to bear...
God's great advice He listened to,
By faith, He bled and bled...
You see, He knew God's Word was true...
Enough to raise the dead!

This is a poem....

This isn't a poem of one direction,
This is a poem about perfection.
This isn't a poem about who won the election,
This is a poem about correction.
This isn't a poem of getting it right,
This is a poem of standing up to fight.
This isn't a poem of being lost like a kite,
This is a poem about trying to find the light.
This isn't a poem of running tears,
This is a poem about chasing your fears.
This isn't a poem of love and hate,
This is a poem of destiny and fate.
This isn't a poem of the end,
This is a poem of a heart unable to mend.
This isn't a poem of cruilty and pain,
This is a poem of a thng i need to gain.
This isn't a poem of shame,
This is a poem of fame.

Today... 'The Comforter

This poor man cried and the Lord heard his voice
Placed a new song in his mouth causing him to rejoice
The great Comforter from heaven came to comfort me
With His arms outstretched on that cross at Calvary.

The Holy Spirit convicted me of sin and shame
And showed me that Jesus had borne the blame
So I knelt there before the cross to confess
with true conviction my unworthiness.

My sins forgiven and my soul began to revive
The Holy Spirit empowered me I came alive
Then as my constant companion he illumined me
Opening my eyes to all spiritual reality
Leading me into the Truth written in God's word
And teaching me more about Jesus my Lord.

That Old Rugged Cross

That cross so simple in design, spans throughout all of time.
As simple as that cross may be, it reaches well into eternity.
A wooden beam upon a tree, lifted high on Mount Calvary.
For all the saints of the past, it capped a hope that will last.
As that hope they waited for, was fulfilled through our Lord.

For the saints of latter years, it would conquer all our fears,
As death was swallowed in victory, on that cross at Calvary.
Today the cross of Jesus Christ, can grant victory to any life.
From that single horrific place, God began this age of Grace.
While many were dismayed, the Love of God was displayed.

By God, Christ was shunned, as wrath was sent on His Son.
Wrath meant for you and me, which was poured at Calvary.
God’s own Son bearing disgrace; a sinless lamb in our place.
In agony Christ was seized, until God’s anger was appeased,
As Christ paid the ultimate price, becoming for all a sacrifice.

He died and bled on the cross, washing away our sinful dross.
The sinless man bearing the cost, to bring to God, sinners lost.
And all who come to Jesus Christ, by the cross gain New Life,
As that bloody cross of Calvary, leads all men towards Eternity.
That rugged, yet simple design, has truly stood the test of time.

His Body And Blood

I thank God for His grace and love, and for Christ’s Body and Blood,
His Body that was God’s Sacrifice, Jesus’ Body that paid sin’s price,
For Christ’s Blood, that was spilled, as The Father above, had willed,
For our Lord’s death at Calvary, so that believers could live Eternally.

It is through the very Blood of Christ, that sinners can have New Life,
From the Body, prepared for Him, redeeming souls from all their sin,
For The Lord had sent His Only Son, to be Redemption for everyone,
And all we must do is to believe, and God’s Salvation we will receive.

Today an empty grave now shows, though He died, Christ has arose,
The same power will be given to us, who, have come to Christ Jesus,
Though we are still on the earth, we receive God’s Spirit by New Birth,
Promised by our Lord to all men, when in Christ, they are Born Again.

Born of God, by The Spirit above, when we’re cleansed by His Blood,
Forgiven of all our sin and shame, all through the Power of His Name,
We are now the children of God, to walk anew upon the earth we trod,
To no longer be a part of the night, but now, to be The Savior’s Light.

This, all because God loved us first, even, when we were at our worst,
And His love was for all sinners lost, so our Lord employed the cross,
Crucifying Christ the Spotless Lamb, to pay sin’s price for every man,
This is His New Covenant of Blood, provided to us all by God’s Love.

The Holy Cross That Jesus Bore …

The Holy Cross set mankind free
From mortal sins of every kind,
When Jesus died upon this tree,
And paid price with His precious blood!

The flaying and abuses hurled
Left gashes deep upon His back,
With burning pain, no man can bear,
And yet, our living God does care!

And every time that Jesus fell
Reminds the weight of mankind’s sins
Became more than, He could carry,
Trudging His way to Calvary!

The nails we drove into His Hands
Were sins that God for man forbade;
Excruciating pain, they caused
As bones were broken with blood-spurt!

The crown of thorns were sins of mine
Like jealousy, ego and pride,
And vanity of kings futile,
That pierced His scalp and drew out blood!

Those desperate moments of Christ
As ebbing life and untold pain
Upon Him seized, were caused by sins
That we repeatedly commit.

Each dropp of bloody sweat that fell
From brow of head of Jesus Christ,
As shock and pain engulfed His mind
That witnessed ruthlessness of men!

The words of wisdom, Jesus spoke
Despite His sorrow-afilled heart
Are exemplary and so strange
Revealing love of God boundless.

The Holy Cross has set us free
From punishments for sins truly;
Repent, we must for each folly,
And enter Heaven’s life jolly!

Forgive us Lord for sins galore;
That we commit so stupidly,
Although we know that You detest
And fail so many times Your test.

O God of love and rod so stern!
We thank You for sending Your Son,
Who saved us all from fire of hell
‘Spare us, O Lord; Spare thy people! ’

It Is Finished

“It is finished” as Christ was done, were the words of God’s Own Son.
It was finished and some knew that Christ had died for me and you.
He was born the man Jesus Christ, for He was to be God’s Sacrifice.
Jesus was the name given Him as He’d save His people from their sin.
Christ was the name of God’s Son, as He was The Lord’s Anointed One.

Thinking they were done with Him, the people only added to their sin.
But Christ would not be denied, even though they pierced His side.
They had Him then sealed in a tomb, which only added to their doom.
In the ground as the scripture said, for three days amongst the dead.
But The Lord God was not done, for the grave could not hold His Son.

On the third day to much surprise, The Lord from the tomb would rise.
The stone of the tomb was rolled away, for He was not there to stay.
For the temple that He did raise, was His body to The Father’s praise.
And Jesus did just what He said, as He raised his body from the dead.
He was dead, but is now alive, and He is seated at His Father’s side.

This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that for us He became a sacrifice.
On the cross He bore the sins of all to redeem man from Adam’s fall.
Christ tasted death for you and me, so we could live through eternity.
Believe that for you Christ died and you my friend will be justified.
And confess your Lord is Jesus Christ and you will have Eternal Life.

Speaking Against ‘Da Vinci Code’ -2

So mean, some try demeaning Christ –
The Son of God, the Almighty;
They know His birth was one divine,
From Virgin Mary, by God’s word!

The Lamb of God was sacrificed
For sins of mankind, on the cross;
The Son of God became a man,
To just fulfill His Father’s wish.

Yes, Jesus knew the Scriptures well;
He had two natures – man and God,
Like two faces of any coin;
As man, he was fully a man!

‘The Son of God could forgive sins’
- The words of Jesus Christ Himself;
Like God, He loved the sinner who
Confessed his sins and made amends.

Christ chose twelve men as Apostles;
May be, some women heard his talks;
Christ won over satan’s designs,
When latter tempted him, at last.

The sinless man called Jesus Christ
Defeated satan, once for all;
And when He rose from death, third day,
He showed his pow’r divine to world.

To mar his name by saying that
Jesus was married, had a son –
Amounts to blasphemy and Lie:
A sin, His Father won’t forgive.

‘Beware you liars of God’s word! ’
Lord Jesus Christ will come again
In glory, as Judge of mankind:
Ask forgiveness, repent for sins!

What Used To Be

I was too, once deceived, but through God’s Word I believed,
Knowledge of God, I had none, but then I embraced His Son.
I was too, a sinner lost, but then I read about Calvary’s cross,
Where The Lord was crucified, and for all my sin He had died.

Though darkness was all around, by Christ Jesus I was found,
Giving me through His Light, a path to life, out from my night.
Christ sent me the Holy Spirit, to teach me Truth when I hear it,
To grow in the knowledge of Him, who saved me from my sin.

I was separated from a Holy God, upon this fallen earthly sod,
But, brought into His family, through Christ’s Cross at Calvary.
In my trespasses, I was dead, no matter what my religion said,
But, from The Son, Jesus Christ, I was given by God New Life.

In my previous life I was all alone, left on earth to simply roam,
Now my Shepherd and my guide, Christ, is always by my side.
Once I had lived with uncertainty, about the time called eternity,
Now I know through His Grace, in heaven for me awaits a place.

A place for me’s been secured, by Jesus Christ my loving Lord,
Where in His presence I shall be, and, throughout all of Eternity.
And friend God wants you to know, you can have a place to go,
To live with Him in heaven above, provided by our Savior’s love.
