Mother's Day
Upon the day that I was born, my Mother gave me life -
A fragile baby so forlorn unused to pain and strife,
Unused to light that shone above, unused to all the glare...
I was her pride and joy to love, forevermore to share...
Upon the day she took me home, she held me by the hand.
It didn't matter where we'd roam, for God had something planned.
When Schooldays took me far away, each evening I returned.
She helped me every single day beyond the facts I'd learned.
She was a rock, a face that smiled, a great encouragement.
She gave her best to help her child as through the years we went.
The decades passed and she grew old till Jesus said, 'Be brave! '
To me, she was as good as gold till laid within her grave...
The tears still sting upon my eyes and fall upon my cheeks...
Memories share a love so nice and through these, she still speaks.
Each Mother's Day, I pause to pray, remembering her love.
She's now with Jesus every day... In Heaven, blessed above...

Born To Be Ransomed
Born to be ransomed,
Born for a reason,
On one side Love,
On the other side Security,
Mabey,
Taken to be placed elsewhere,
Or,
Mabey,
Taken to be placed with them,
Born to be ransomed,
Held ransomed by those,
For security measures of the father and mother,
So,
They are called on by the beckoning,
Of,
Those holding child held by ransomed,
Is what people do when child means,
A lot to mother and father,
Love and security in family keepings,
Born to be ransomed,
With intent to use child,
By the takers of child,
To profit and gain,
For themselves in lifes times,
When child born is then used,
Till,
Mother and father is killed,
And,
Child is then raised in a racket,
For,
What mother and father were,
And,
Left for the child when child grown,
In giving is receiving,
All that has good intentions,
Gives for good reasons,
Yet,
Why one is born to be ransomed,
Is,
The what see's and pre-desires,
The placement and life,
Of,
What two in love have made,
The unborn child then becomes,
The ransom of what wants,
What,
The two have in love and wealth,
When this goes on and child is grown,
The eyes that see and yet do not understand,
Is,
The child raised seeing all,
From,
The good ways,
To the bad ways,
To the cruel ways,
To,
The crimes committed and seen,
Is,
The eyes of seeing,
From,
Been born in a world disrupted,
Is,
A child born and ransomed,
What is of matter,
Mattering to two,
Two in love,
That,
Choose to be one,
One as in a couple,
To matter and be,
For,
What matters to them,
Is,
What brings matter of two,
To,
Become a matter of one,
A,
Child born of two,
Yet,
Now matter's to none,
But,
What ransoms the child out,
Till,
The child grew to be,
And,
Left them all behind,
Knowing,
Mother and father are dead,
Living,
Life knowing too much,
Just,
From been the ransom,
The ransom,
Of,
All,
That,
Is,
Of,
Mother and father,
Till,
All,
Of,
Mother and father's,
Income and places,
Was,
Spent and giving to others,
Tis,
Then,
Ransomed child grown,
Can,
Leave,
With noting,
But themselve,
To have some kind,
Of life,
Somewhere else,
Faraway!

Jesus To Child
Kindness in your eyes
I guess you heard me cry
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
I'm blessed, I know
Heaven sent and heaven stole
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
And what have I learned
>From all this pain?
I thought I'd never feel the same
About anyone
Or anything again
But now I know
When you find love
When you know that it exists
Then the lover that you miss
Will come to you
On those cold, cold nights
When you've been loved
When you know it holds such bliss
Then the lover that you kissed
Will comfort you
When there's no hope in sight
Sadness in your eyes
No one guessed, or no one tried
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
Loveless and cold
With your last breath you saved my soul
You smiled at me
Like Jesus to a child
And what have I learned
>From all these
I've waited for you all those years
And just when it began
He took your love away
But I still say
When you find love
When you know that it exists
Then the lover that you miss
Will come to you
On those cold, cold nights
When you've been loved
When you know it holds such bliss
Then the lover that you kissed
Will comfort you
When there's no hope in sight
So the words you could not say
I'll sing them for you
And the love we would have made
I'll make it for two
For every single memory
Has become a part of me
You will always be
My love
Well, I've been loved
So I know just what love is
And the lover that I kissed
Is always by my side
Oh the lover I still miss
Was Jesus to a child

That Name
There is a name that is so precious,
A name so wonderful to me.
This name is worthy of all praises.
Because of him, I am made free.
That name is jesus, oh how I love him.
The one who gave, his life for me.
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
This name speaks peace, unto my storm clouds,
This name speaks calm, unto me fears.
And when I feel, that no one loves me.
His loving presence is so near.
That name is jesus, oh how I love him.
The one who gave, his life for me.
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Someday Ill leave, this earthly dwelling,
To find a place, my soul will soar.
And finally see, the face of jesus.
And praise his name, forevermore!
That name is jesus, oh how I love him!
The one who gave, his life for me!
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
Excellent is that name!
Glorious is that name!
Wonderful is that name!
Oh praise that name!

God's Destiny For Me
Within the womb God chose for me, I waited so forlorn...
I didn't know my destiny or when I would be born.
I didn't know the words to speak, I only had one thought...
I knew that I was quite unique, without me being taught.
I sensed that there was so much more than one great beating sound
That was my mother's heart, so pure, I felt love all around...
The months crawled by and so did I, content within her form...
There was a peace no man could buy, so tender and so warm.
Then came the day she gave me birth, to lay within her arms...
She told me that my life had worth and quoted from the Psalms.
My father held me to his heart and welcomed me as well.
In time, my parents would impart the truths that they must tell...
And so I learnt of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of my soul!
The Lamb of God once sacrificed, whose blood would make me whole!
God called me near, by name, that day and promised Heaven's bliss
And so I humbly knelt to pray - to enter into this...
I saw a feather quill on high fall from God's holy dove,
'By faith, write poems till you die, to save the lost with love.'

The Great Consolation
Jesus was moved to tears at the grave of Lazarus
He experience the agony the family felt
He remembered their loss
He was their great consolation
Into a dark tomb went the light
And looked with compassion upon his children
Their sorrows touched his heart
Jesus wept aloud and could have cried more
His human nature could not escape pain
Their pain he knew by the tears he was willing to share
And he gave to their troubled hearts the light of hope
He turns the darkness of death into a new dawn
Gave them strength to cope
And a more glorious light await
The sorrow of parting into the joy of heaven
They will meet again by the eternal gate
When the saints go marching in

Mothers Horror
Pain is watching your mother take her last breath
Pain is seeing the doctor announce her death
They said she could hear, till the very last
Whispering I love you mom, I forgive you for the past
Trying to hold back emotion, biting my lip
Knowing any moment she'd be taking that trip
Fighting back the tears, I was totally numb
Chewing on my fingernails and biting on my thumb
The time passed so slowly, while I was in shock
I'd sit weeping for a while and then take a walk
Oh mother don't leave me, I just found your love
I knew it had to end, she was needed above
Her suffering finally ended, late one night
Angels took her home, when she gave up the fight
Now all I'm left with, are many memories of pain
The nursing home killed her, cause her to be slain
I will fight till the end, for her you see
I don't have dementia, they'll have to deal with me
You love them and you think you give them the very best
It's a home of horrors, by now you've guessed
They made plenty of money, for her to stay
Closing them down is what I pray!

The Special Child
The hearts were cheerful and full of joy
For it had been blessed by this little boy.
Jesus Christ was his name
And the lives he changed would never be the same.
He filled a void in the hearts of man
That the Romans couldn’t understand
He gave them hope and took them from despair
And showed them that he truly cared.
Two thousand years have come and gone
And the faith and love for him is still as strong.
We celebrate the birth of baby Jesus on Christmas day
And to him the world does pray.
This is not the only day that we give thanks
To this new born king, for he is with us in everything.
We wake up in the morning and we give thanks
For a brand new day, and before bed we do pray.
We see an accident and we automatically say.
I pray that they are okay.
We see a person with third degree burns
we say to ourselves that there’s
A lesson to be learned.
Would we be able to think the same
If we had to endure that persons pain.
Everything that we do and everything that we say
Involves god in some sort of way.
When we are in excruciating pain
We scream “ oh god” but not in vain.
He is always there every step of the way
And with faith we will not stray.
This is the special child of which I speak
Who protects us all when we are weak.

Would you be my Valentine
Would you be my Valentine
W. Faye Berkheiser
Valentine's day came again but I am blue
No one there for me to say I love you
It's the day for lover's delight
Day to share flowers, poems, candy, all day and night
Daughter, wife, sweetheart, mother, love ones far and near
Day to say I love you and I care
My love I will share
I miss Mother Mamoni, long ago she passed on
My love for her will never die, will rise with every dawn
She was my sweetheart since I was a little boy
I gave her lots of hug and she gave me toy
Left her back home for a Rainbow and a Dream
Came to this new world, a land of supreme
Lonely heart, night is dancing, mind is in memory lane
Would you be my valentine? I am sad, I am in pain

‘Happy Birthday’, Mother Mary!
8th September – your birthday,
O Queen of heaven, all say;
The grace that filled your heart, aye,
Gave us and world, a mighty day.
O Maria Bambina!
Daughter of Joachim and Anne;
You acceded to God’s request
Through angel Gabriel.
You grew up in great piety;
God chose you from amongst women –
A virgin to mother a child,
A baby boy, Immanuel!
By pow’r of Spirit Holy,
You bore the sacred baby,
In your womb of sanctity,
O Mother Virgin Mary.
Hail Mary, Mother of Jesus;
Heavenly mother of mankind;
Look down with mercy upon us,
Ask God to cleanse our sin-stained souls!
O New Eve of the world of men!
The Word became flesh in your womb,
And born was the Lord, ‘King of Kings’:
You trounced Satan forever then.
Conceived without Original Sin,
Becoming Mother of God;
You set aside all Natural laws,
And gave birth to the Lord.
You brought Salvation to mankind
Through Jesus Christ your son,
Who came as Savior, Messiah,
And suffered a death on cross!
O Lady of great chastity!
You obeyed Almighty’s one wish;
Exalted more than angels, saints,
Heaven is now your true abode.
O perfect vessel made by God!
Afilled by grace up to the brim;
The most blessed among women,
Our Intercessor, Pure of heart.
O Mary most immaculate,
Assumed into heaven by God;
Do pray for us sinners on earth
And protect souls from fire of hell.

You Gave Me Love
You gave me time
When no one gave me time of day
You looked deep inside
While the rest of the world looked away
You smiled at me
When there werent just friends everywhere
You gave me love
When nobody gave me a prayer
Thats why I call you savior
Thats why I call you friend
cause you touched my heart
You touched my soul
And helped me start all over again
Thats why I love you jesus
Thats why Ill always care
cause you gave me love
When nobody gave me a prayer
You gave me laughter
After Id cried all my tears
You heard my dreams
While the rest of the world just closed its ears
I looked in your eyes and I found such tenderness there
cause you gave me love
When nobody gave me a prayer
Thats why I call you savior
Thats why I call you friend
cause you touched my heart
You touched my soul
And helped me start all over again
And thats why I love you jesus
Thats why Ill always care
cause you gave me love
When nobody gave me a prayer
Yes he gives us love
When nobody gives us a prayer...

The Orphan
Alone, alone! - no other face
Wears kindred smile, kindred line;
And yet they say my mother's eyes.
They say my father's brow, is mine;
And either had rejected to see
The other's likeness in my face,
But now it is a stranger's eye,
That finds some long forgotten trace.
I heard them name my father's death,
His home and tomb alike the wave;
And I was early taught to weep,
Beside my youthful mother's grave.
I wish I could recall one look, -
But only one familiar tone;
If I had aught of memory,
I should not feel so all alone.
My heart is gone beyond the grave,
In search of love I cannot find,
Till I could fancy soothing words
Are whisper'd by the ev'ning wind:
I gaze upon the watching stars,
So clear, so beautiful above,
Till I could dream they look on me
With something of an answering love.
My mother! does thy gentle eye
Look from those distant stars on me?
Or does the wind at ev'ning bear
A message to thy child from thee?
Dost thou pine for me, as I pine
Again a parent's love to share?
I often kneel beside thy grave,
And pray to be a sleeper there.
The vesper bell! - 'tis eventide,
I will not weep, but I will pray:
God of the fatherless, 'tis Thou
Alone canst be the orphan's stay!
Earth's meanest flower, heaven's mightiest star,
Are equal to their Maker's love.
And I can say, 'Thy will be done,'
With eyes that fix their hopes above.

Oh, FATHER! - FEEL MY Untold LOVE! (Part-1)
At schooltime, my father left me at house gringo!
Yet I Kept my tender heart at home of lingo!
When I quested, for fate “he is right as rain.”
Tender tears exploded like MISSILES yet in vein;
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
While I missed mother’s love and father’s stories
All the night I stood without sleep with many worries
I asked the god, why two legs and hands!
Why not two bodies and two souls for errands!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
Sugarcane Juice, peanuts and berries!
Our green fields, summer holidays and holy tours!
When thousand memories flashes in mind, now,
How much I miss mom's care! How much I miss dad’s love!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
The small buns you bought for me still smell good,
The grapes brought, coming from city is still my favorite food;
The fruits you brought me with roots; are they heaven sent?
Yet I didn’t pay any rent pay as you are my parent!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
Do you know who my MAHATMA is? Oh, my brother!
He is not Mandela, nor Gandhi but my father
Who taught me A to Z rather?
What to do and what not to do, I gather!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
When I think of all the things you gave to me:
Your sacrifices in food; love and affection are some to name,

Oh, FATHER! - FEEL MY Untold LOVE! (Part-2)
When I think of all the things you GAVE me:
Your sacrifices in food; love and affection are some to name,
The list goes endless and I fail to count what you gave to me;
With your heart, your mind, your energy and your soul of fame!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
You burnt yourself like a CANDLE to give me light....
Your deeds are never dull; your love is never pale;
I count endless things you, an endless tale
All these you spent on me throughout the years.
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
Now I am in foreign land tormented like an alien, I'm hurt!
I am sad yet I remember Rudyard Kipling's poem, 'If' –
There a father suggest 180 things to his son; What if?
I am not with you; yet your advices ring in heart!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
I cherish our relationship forever and a day,
Till earth exists and sun sparkles in every way,
Till Stars twinkle and moon delights I carry your name,
Till death may do us apart yet I carry all the same
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
We are separated by boundaries narrow.....
Yet in my memories, I'm with as your shadow;
I may carry your fortunes for while.....
Yet I carry your hope for a mile;
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done! ................................................. .......................

Uh! (Our father) I'm a talk this (Who art in heaven)
Start walk this
[Verse 1: DMX]
In the name of Jesus
I can have everything good of the earth be given to me by him
In the name of Jesus
There would be never be a time that I have to fight the devil and I cannot win
In the name of Jesus
I lose all strong holds that the devil had over my life
In the name of Jesus
When I save a thousand two or save ten
So I thank the lord for my wife
In the name of Jesus
I want to thank you what you showed me what you told me
In the name of Jesus
I want to thank you for your love and watchin over me
In the name of Jesus
I don't have to, go through what I went through anymore
In the name of Jesus
I don't have to (What!) now that I got you in my life ever more (Come on!)
[Chorus: Patti LaBelle]
I know it cannot happen without you, you you, without you, oh, oh oh oh
Without you
[Verse 2: DMX]
In the name of Jesus
You gave me the book, so now I just look when I need the word
In the name of Jesus
You took, a crook, gave him a new look now he speaks the word
In the name of Jesus
It don't matter what we did tell it to the lord and he forgives
Whatever it was right or wrong
I'm a catch up with the herd then I'm comin home
In the name of Jesus
I ran away for far too long starve too long
In the name of Jesus
Where people perish for lack of knowledge
They all too strong let's get it on
In the name of Jesus
I realize I'm a sinner
I repent my sins and right this moment am a beginner
Baby in the spirit, let me go
In the name of Jesus please let me go!!!! (Come on!)
[Chorus: Patti LaBelle]
I know it cannot happen without you, you you, without you, oh, oh oh oh
Without you
[Bridge: DMX + (Patti LaBelle)]
I gotta say what's on my mind (Say what's on your mind)
You saved my life a thousand times (Saved a thousand times)
Gave me a dream that came to be
Opened my eyes so I could see
[DMX & Patti LaBelle]
I had my ups and had my downs
Until you turned my life around
And I want the whole world to see
They don't know what you mean to me
[Verse 3: DMX]
In the name of Jesus
All praises due to the shepherd watchin the flock of sheep
In the name of Jesus
Ain't even about where I'm steppin

Our Life's Greatest Treasure
Met in high school, still together
when college did come.
Graduation day, a joy for us two,
together we decided to be one,
darling, just me and you.
Two years passed and with a
baby girl we were blessed, like
two birds we had started our
loving nest. She brought such
joy to us, so in God we then
put all our trust.
We decided that we needed you
at home, so you became a 'stay at
home Mom.' Such loving care you
poured into out little one and
into our growing home.
Late the following spring, God had
blessed our lives again. A little
brother for our Sara Anne. We were
so happy, so filled with joy, God's gift
to us, a baby boy.
We watched them grow, and so close
they grew, bringing so much love to
me and you. We had such strength
in our little family, there was nothing
we couldn't do, in our hearts, love
would conquer all, this we knew.
The day little Joey turned two, another
blessing, as you gave us the news.
A long nine months, as so many
troubles you had, the day came when
once again you made me a Dad.
But when the doctor gave the news,
it left us broken hearted and sad.
You grew so weak, each breath came
far and few, I prayed to God, 'honey I
knew I couldn't lose you.' I held your hand,
as the children did cling to your side,
you took that last breath, 'honey that
was the moment the biggest part
of me died.'
An infant in my arms, two more standing,
clinging onto my side, the rose petals fell
so softly onto the mound of dirt, I don't
think I have ever felt such a hurt.
Remembering the touch of your hand,
the softness in your voice, alone now I
have to do this, I have no choice.
Each day on my way to work, and to take
the kids to school, we stop and give
a rose to you. We stand by you still
each day, and silently to God we pray.
We miss your tenderness, your hugs
and your sweet kiss.
It is hard day to day, the children and
I, trying to make our way. We see you
in the stars at night, we feel your hugs,
when I tuck them in tight. Their tears still
fall, as in the night your name they still
call. It's just not the same dear, since God
took you home, 'I have never felt
so alone.'
On the weekends to our ocean retreat,
through the mist of the oceans we
hear your voice so sweet. Remembering
the ocean to be your favorite place,
going back there, recapturing your
beautiful face.
Hearing your whipsers in the gentle
waves, saying your last goodbys
as you left us that day. Been a year
now, the pain is still there, but I know
you are at peace, in his loving care. 'Darling,
you gave us nothing but sheer pleasure,
and in Heaven I know, God now holds, our
life's greatest treasure.
No one will ever take your place, the
beauty you posessed will never
be found in any heart, nor on any face.
We know you are here with us each and
every day, without you dear, we
wouldn't make it through the day. I see
you in our children, in every tear that
they cry, rest peacefully now my love,
till we meet in our home that I know
you are preparing for us all, there in
the sky.

I don't have to, go through what I went through anymore
In the name of Jesus
I don't have to (What!) now that I got you in my life ever more (Come on!)
[Chorus: Patti LaBelle]
I know it cannot happen without you, you you, without you, oh, oh oh oh
Without you
[Verse 2: DMX]
In the name of Jesus
You gave me the book, so now I just look when I need the word
In the name of Jesus
You took, a crook, gave him a new look now he speaks the word
In the name of Jesus
It don't matter what we did tell it to the lord and he forgives
Whatever it was right or wrong
I'm a catch up with the herd then I'm comin home
In the name of Jesus
I ran away for far too long starve too long
In the name of Jesus
Where people perish for lack of knowledge
They all too strong let's get it on
In the name of Jesus
I realize I'm a sinner
I repent my sins and right this moment am a beginner
Baby in the spirit, let me go
In the name of Jesus please let me go!!!! (Come on!)
[Chorus: Patti LaBelle]
I know it cannot happen without you, you you, without you, oh, oh oh oh
Without you
[Bridge: DMX] + (Patti LaBelle)
I gotta say what's on my mind (Say what's on your mind)
You saved my life a thousand times (Saved a thousand times)
Gave me a dream that came to be
Opened my eyes so I could see
[DMX & Patti LaBelle]
I had my ups and had my downs
Until you turned my life around
And I want the whole world to see
They don't know what you mean to me
[Verse 3: DMX]
In the name of Jesus
All praises due to the shepherd watchin the flock of sheep
In the name of Jesus
Ain't even about where I'm steppin
You watch in the dark when I'm sleep
[Chorus: Patti LaBelle]
I know it cannot happen without you, you you, without you, oh, oh oh oh
Without you
[Outro: Patti LaBelle]
What you want, sing!

A Mother's Love
What is a Mother's love? Only a Mother will know,
When a Child is sick with fever, and the pulse is slow;
A Mother will not sleep or rest, till the child is well,
This is what my Mother did, she cared, I could tell.
What is a Mother's love? As it's only a Mother can feel,
When a Child is so bad, she makes her Mother feel like a heel;
Like the Mother will keep her patience till she wants to cry,
But in the end, when; the child is sorry, then she will sigh.
What is a Mother's love? Only a Mother can say with Love,
My Mother never did give up, it's the Same as God above;
When we Hurt our Mother, show Angers, a grieve them too,
We need to say sorry, and also to God this is true.
God and Mother's are almost the same, Forgiving and Receiving,
God just patiently waits for us, to be well behaving;
And say sorry for our sin, He' ll never give up on us,
So is a Mother's Love, she shows love, she'll never fuss.
