An Angel

Though angels come from heaven, I met one from right here.
When things aren’t right or I’m up tight she has time to be near.
She’s got so much to do, but her response is always the same.
When I seek her help it’s like I’m the only one in the game.

Joann is the name of this angel. All who meet her feel as I do.
Her heart is an ocean of love with a soul we all should pursue.
Her unflinching faith in God pervades all of her life,
Inspiring a purity of spirit as executive, friend, mother and wife.

I am honored to work with and learn from this rare human being.
A mere mortal, but her actions speak of the angel I’m seeing.
Just knowing her has changed the way I view myself in this world.
A more positive attitude and feeling for others has unfurled.

Nightmare

My heart escapes to be awake
Whilst in slumber-being I'm swaying
Gripping my breath-strands
With all the known prayers
Soars high my heart
Though falters in the dark peace
Swims along the Akash Ganga
In and out of the star-avenues
Halloing the Scorpio divinely stung

You look so peaceful lying there
With your hands folded upon your chest.

Guardian Angels

Guardian angels (12/12/11)

Where are my angels that watch over me?
Where are my angels, where can they be?
We all have guardian angels- this much I know
So where did my angels go?

They watch over me to protect me from harm
And around my neck - is their charm.
My father told me to never fear
For I am always in their care.

Who is my father you ask of me?
He is no other than J.C.
Jesus Christ is his name
We’re his children and we’re all the same.

Sometimes our angels presence we will feel
When we are sick and need to heal.
He smiles down upon us and touches our hand
And lets us know he understands.

Angels protect us throughout our lives
This is their ultimate sacrifice
And when it’s time that we must part
They ease the pains within our hearts
Knowing that when we are at deaths door
We start regretting things that we held in store.

A kind word to a friend who was there till the end.

Long ago, a star
Sent forth its light from afar.
And now, no matter how far,
We will follow the same star.

To her whose name,
With its sweet sibilant sound like sudden showers
Splashing the grass and flowers,
Hath set my April heart aflame;

To her whose face,
The flower and crown of all created things,
Dearer than even Spring's,
Hath been to me a sacrament of grace;

Whose luminous mind,
Stored with all gladness of the earth and sky,
Hath lightened my sad eye
And made it wise in love which erst was blind;

The Amazing Grace Of God.

We get what we deserve!
Do we? Do we really?
Do we really get what we deserve?

Kelly said ‘If we all
get what we deserve,
then we will all
be on our way to hell.’

Kelly said ‘But Christ
gave his life for us, that
is the Grace we can never
repay.’ The Grace of God.
