Zippo, bupkus, and nil
If you wish it to be
It might possibly come true
If you pray for it …well
That could help too
But if you want it to be
Really.. really want it to be…
Then do something
To make it come true
You can wish
You can pray
You can want it
And still…
Unless you do something….
More than wish, or want…today
The chances of your prayers
Ever Being answered…
Is “forget about it”…“Zippo”
“bupkus” and nil

How to Pray?
Pray incessantly;
Pray most fervently;
Pray with all your heart;
God will do His part!
Pray most sensibly;
Pray most effectively;
Pray deep from your heart;
Pray as if an art!
Pray for prolonged time;
Pray in any clime;
Pray by singing rhymes;
God’s answers chime!
Pray in holy place;
Pray with heav’nly gaze;
Pray for human race;
Pray in many ways.
Let prayers rise up high;
Let prayers pierce the sky;
Let prayers touch God’s heart,
As blessings divine start!

You Are The Prayer!
pray for peace,
and then live your prayers!
pray for love,
then give your love a body.
pray for hope,
then make the changes needed
to bring hope life!
pray for forgiveness,
and then forgive!
pray for courage,
then dare to do!
pray for fullfilment,
then give everything you
cherish away!
pray for wisdom,
then listen intently!
pray for tomorrow,
then live today!
pray for truth,
then walk naked and strong!
pray for the earth,
then treat it with respect...
pray with all of your heart,
then be silent and still,
knowing, and believing,
that you are the prayer!

Unanswered Prayers
The greatest gift
Can sometimes be…
Unanswered prayers
Life composed…
Then unexpectedly exposed
as a labyrinth of layers
For what you pray today…
could be The opposite of…
your prayers upon the morrow
And the granted prayer
Now wished undone, becomes…
A source of new found sorrow
Take care in prayer
Intone it wisely…
waste it not, I pray of you
Take care in what you pray for
For your prayer…
just might come true

Pray
I pray for your safety my love
Pray your dreams be fulfilled
Pray for help from God above
Pray a shattered world rebuild
Pray with me, that all are fed
Pray our Lord God will listen
Pray we see what lay ahead
Pray our mortal souls be risen
Pray for all who now do suffer
Pray for respite from their pain
Pray empathy provides a buffer
Pray for those few gone insane
Believe sincere prayers always work
Believe prayer lights where Satan lurks

Prayer Warriors
We are the prayer warriors and we say the prayers
For all the people for whom we care.
It matters not the position you’re in
If you’re good or if you sinned.
We all need prayers some time in our lives
Especially when things don’t turn out right.
When you’re sick or in despair
The prayer warriors are always there.
You pray for me as I pray for you
And all our prayers will come true.
We do not have to be gathered
As a group when we pray.
In a church, a temple, in a steeple
He listens to all of us, for we are his people.
They say there is strength when we gather in prayer
A common belief that we all share.
So let us pray for our fellow man
Because he now needs a helping hand.
So father we thank you for the blessings each day
And helping all who come your way.

How Do I Pray?
Pray, pray
How do I pray?
Usually at the
end of my day.
Pray, pray
For what do I pray?
I pray for peace
in everyone's day.
Pray, pray
To whom do I pray?
To my soul giver
that's not far away.
Pray, pray
Why do I pray?
For if there's a heaven
maybe someday
The praying was worth it
and then I'll know
where those that don't pray
will have to stay.
And pray and pray
and pray all day.

Wishes That Remain Ungranted
we thank God for those wishes
and prayers that till today remained unanswered
there are reasons
he knows all these reasons and we fall short of our limited explanations
we do not have to pray hard for something
that we do not deserve
for some things that may after all be not good for ourselves
the very reason why they remained as not ours to have and to hold
those who insisted and those whose prayers are finally answered
God says
have been duly punished.
we only pray for what God wills
that is wise enough.

Suicide Sad but True
The voices make you blue
This is sad but true
Now suicide is waiting for you
This is sad but true
Pills seem to be the way now
This sad but true
The bottle is waiting
This is sad but true
What are you to do
This sad but true
Now you swallow all but two
This is sad but true
As your skin turns blue
This is sad but true
Your friend breathes into you
This is sad but true
How did this not work for you
This is sad but true
You just wanted to die too
This is sad but true
Maybe next time will do
This is sad but true
You pray the knife will cut you into
This is sad but true
What they have done to you
This is sad but true
Now this will have to do
This sad but true
Now it is done for you
This is but true

Pray A Little Faster
Breath deep and fill your lungs
In your native or in your second tounge
Pig-latin or pigeon
Just get religion
Pray a little faster
Cmon pray a little faster
Pray a little faster
We got to far to run
Forget about the girls and forget about the boys
Turn off the tv and put away your toys
You cant do what you want to do
So get out your voodoo
Come on
Pray a little faster
Pray a little faster
Pray a little faster
We got too far to run
Pray to the trees, pray to the sun
And if you dont believe, pray to the alien
Look up to heaven, yeah
And turn it up to 11
Cmon
Pray a little faster
Pray a little faster
Pray a little faster
We got too far to run

Sometimes I Pray
Sometimes I pray before I sleep;
Sometimes I pray, the lord; my soul to keep,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray in the morning;
Sometimes I pray for those in mourning,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray for rain;
Sometimes I pray for nomore pain,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray before i eat;
Sometimes I pray for good bread and meat,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray, my baby; that you'll stay;
But only sometimes for these things do I pray,
For I talk to my Lord everyday...

Oh Let Us Pray
Oh Father, oh Father
Come and take us by our hands
As we pray to you dear Father
For a cleansing across our land
Let us pray for the sick
And those that are old
Cling to us dear Father
We still need You, to hold
Pray for the poor
Even the beggars on the street
Help to guide them along
May they find something to eat
Let's pray for our soldiers
Who have stood up to fight
Leaving behind their families
Just to help protect our rights
Let us pray for the blind
May they finally get to see
May these prayers reach across the lands
And set many burdens free
Let's pray for love and friendship
May they spread like a wild fire
May we all love with Your passion
And burn with a true desire
so pray with us Oh Father
As we pass the hands of time
And help all hearts to heal
Starting with some friends of mine
OH LET US PRAY

Pray For Love
Yeah, oh yeah,
Pray for love,
Yeah, oh yeah,
I lift my eyes up to heaven above
And what Im asking for is all Ive been dreaming of
True love is so hard to find
Wont you pray
Wont you pray
Won't you pray
Diamonds and pearls and fortune and fame
Some ask for sunshine and others for rain
Is what I'm asking for asking too much?
Won't you pray
Won't you pray
Won't you pray
Oh yeah,
C'mon and pray for love
Pray for love, love, love, love
Late at night when I'm alone in my room
Whispering your name by the light of the midnight moon
I believe that day will come
Won't you pray
Won't you pray
Won't you pray
There's just too many lonely people
Too many lonely people in this world
Too many lonely lonely people
Won't you pray
Won't you pray
Oh, yeah
C'mon and pray for love
Pray for love, love, love, love
C'mon and pray for love
Yeah, yeah
C'mon and pray for love
C'mon and pray for love
Pray, pray, pray for love, love, love
There's just too many lonely people
Too many lonely people in this world
Too many lonely lonely people
Too many lonely people in this world
Too many lonely boys
Too many lonely girls
Too many lonely people in this world
C'mon and pray for love
Oh, yeah
C'mon and pray for love
Pray for love
C'mon and pray for love
Pray for love.

Pray for your daddy girl
Pray for your daddy girl
Your daddy just sick
Pray for your daddy girl
Before he go and get another hit
Pray for your daddy girl
So it can all be over with
Pray for girl
Mama wait, answer this
Why when I keep on praying he keep on doing the same ole bull shit
What is a five minute high better than what we give
You keep telling me to
Pray for your daddy girl
But when I do
My prays never come true
Pray for your daddy girl
All good things will come to you
I love him and thats a fact, but does he loves me more than he love crack
Pray for your daddy girl
Pray for your daddy girl

A Prayer
may all the good old people of this world
have a happy death,
may not the young die at their young age
may those who pray for death
be enlightened to choose life
and live in peace in an actualized self,
may all those who have forgotten prayer
pray, and may all those who still pray
pray some more to learn to pray
and pray earnestly that all
prayers through God's Holy Will
be heard and granted.

Ill Be Yours
When I first saw you my heart said, yes
Youd be the one to cure my loneliness
And so every night I pray,
Pray that some day you will say
Pray that youll say you love me and then Ill be yours
I see you everyday you say hello
But I cant say a word
I love you so
And so every night I pray,
Pray that some day you will say
Pray that youll say you love me and then Ill be yours
I love you so, but you will never know
You think Im just a friend, that all Ill ever be, I know
I just a dreamer, its nothing new
But still I hope someday theyll all come true
And so every night I pray,
Pray that some day you will say
Pray that youll say you love me and then Ill be yours
Say youll love me and then Ill be yours

Both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God; and each invokes his aid against the other.... The prayers of both could not be answered--that of neither has been answered fully.

The power of prayer
You pray a lot and take pride
That your prayers are granted
And you pray some more
Like a monk like a priest,
Sometimes I think about
Prayerful dogs, what if their
Prayers are granted too
Bones and more bones
Would surely rain from
The heavenly skies.
Oh yes, I pray, but if my
Prayers are not granted,
I still know that God loves me
He thinks my wants are not the best
For me, and he reserves the rest.
That really suits me best.

I Pray
As I look out in the blue
And see the darkening skies.
I remember those old times,
And tears shows up within my eyes.
Those golden moments that I passed,
With your hands in mine.
It was the best in my life,
I was really on cloud nine.
But maybe it doesn't matter,
For time comes and goes.
Finally, the changes will come
And loved one's will become foes.
I wipe those tears today,
And pray with all my heart.
That your universe would be better,
Till the end from the start.
Shall the sun always rise,
And always shine for you.
May all your hopes and dreams,
forever come true.
These are a few selfless prayers,
That I pray for you.
Because for me, I can only say
That the sky will never be blue.

An Angel Prayed For Me
An angel prayed for me today
I know this to be true..
She sent a pray into the wind to
Hasten the destination,
For my heart was burden down
So low,
With many troubles of this world,
None of an earthly gain..
An angel prayed for me today
This I know to be true,
I felt such serenity as the wind
Softly kiss my cheek..
An angel asked our father today
To lighten such heavy load..
Than, our father smiled at me and
Said,
Your guardian angel prayed with
You to make your days much easier,
An angel prayed for me today
For this I know is true..
Our father sent my guardian angel
And made my troubles descend
From me..
So I know an angel prayed for me
Today,
For our father said this to be true
