What word comes to mind?

A gentle word on the summer wind
Subtle sigh in forlorn surrender

Uttered softly, in voice so thin
Be gentle…be kind…remember

Gentle Sigh

There is a gentle sigh
as a warm summer evening calls
and lovers slip away
to their hideaways.
The stars twinkle bright
playing peek-a-boo with the moon
and not a stirring word is heard,
except the gentle sigh
that inherits the breeze
that faintly rustles the leaves
on a warm summer evening
just before darkness calls.
The world sings a hushaby melody
to children tucked in their bed
waiting for the sandman to call
and for a few minutes,
everything is still
listening to the gentle sigh
when warm summer evenings call.

To mother with love...

An angel thou art
Beauty personified
Those gentle fingers
Those soulful eyes

A smile so gorgeous
A touch so soft
A prayer on thy lips
And answers aloft

Thy kiss so loving
Thy love so pure
Our pain in thine eyes
Thou so bravely endure

And a hug so warm
And a faith so deep
And a whisper to god
No fears to weep

And a life so unconditional
And a caress to assure
Of thy love and thy being
Of those unpaid gifts galore

A balm for each heart
A kiss for each tear
Our gift from heaven
To shield each fear

Then why do we hurt thou
And make thy cry
So ruthless, so cruel
But still not a sigh

And yet thy loves
And yet thy cares
And hopes and wishes
And add us to thy prayers

Oh, why art thou so gentle
Oh why so kind
Thou could go so much further
And leave us all behind

Holding my hands so gently
Thou then doth sighs
With that twinkle so lovely
In thine lovely eyes

Thoust uttered not a word
And yet said so much
Those gentle eyes told it all
Along with that gentle touch

And so thy stand
My mentor, my guide
To lead us all to eternity
My mater, our pride.

Buck

Andy stroud
Buck
Youre a whole lot a man
Just take a look
At your great big hands
You know you can crush
Poor me in two
But gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
I say I never have to worry
bout you goin out
There aint no other woman
Aint no need to doubt
So early to bed
And early to rise
I know just what youre thinkin
Bye the look in your eyes
I say buck
So sweet is your back
I like to wash you
And kiss you when youre wet
So hold me close
And squeeze me till I sigh
Please love me, honey
Till the day I die
I say buck
There aint no other man around
Get your lover gal
To calm right down
No question bout the way
I feel for you
So gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
Oh so gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
Oh so gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do

The Three Gentle Shepherds

Of gentle Philips will I ever sing,
With gentle Philips shall the valleys ring.
My numbers too for ever will I vary,
With gentle Budgell and with gentle Carey.
Or if in ranging of the names I judge ill,
With gentle Carey and with gentle Budgell:
Oh! may all gentle bards together place ye,
Men of good hearts, and men of delicacy.
May satire ne'er befool ye, or beknave ye,
And from all wits that have a knack, God save ye.

Sans Souci

I cannot tell what this love may be
That cometh to all but not to me.
It cannot be kind as they'd imply,
Or why do these gentle ladies sigh?
It cannot be joy and rapture deep,
Or why do these gentle ladies weep?
It cannot be blissful, as 'tis said,
Or why are their eyes so wondrous red?

If love is a thorn, they show no wit
Who foolishly hug and foster it.
If love is a weed, how simple they
Who gather and gather it, day by day!
If love is a nettle that makes you smart,
Why do you wear it next your heart?
And if it be neither of these, say I,
Why do you sit and sob and sigh?

Sentimental Over You

Never thought Id fall
But now I hear the call
Im getting sentimental over you
Things you say and do
Just thrill me through and through
Im getting sentimental over you
Once I wondered why
Id sit at home and sigh
Im getting sentimental over you
Words cannot describe
This poetry inside
Im getting sentimental over you
I thought I was happy, I could live with myself
Now I see that love is all that Im thinking of
Wont you please be kind
And just make up your mind
That youll be sweet and gentle
Be gentle with me
cause Im getting sentimental over you
I thought I was happy, I could live with myself
Now I see that love is all that Im thinking of
Wont you please be kind
And just make up your mind
That youll be sweet and gentle
Be gentle with me
cause Im getting sentimental over you

Wind Horse

Da naho… It is said,
Wind Horse, gentle Wind horse, you were the last of your kind.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you were running wild and free.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, with this freedom you did nothing but give;
When one called for help you carried them to safety,
No enemy did you have.

Da naho… It is said,
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you gave your life one day
To a boy with no leg.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you gave him your endless love.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you now run in the Great Hunting Grounds;
Giving joy to those there, as you did here.

Da naho… It is said,
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, your life was not the last gift
You gave the People.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, you prayed for us, you wished a wish for us.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, we remember you through your brother Horse.

Wi: yo: h … It is good.
Wind Horse, Wind Horse, we see you still.

Love Song

Spirited in my own shadow
Soul braced against a brick wall
A collective symphony of musical
Sonnata's
Echo and reverberate your
Sweet call
Transported in subtle ecstacy
An open gate to Eden invites
Uncovered now all of the veils
Of ebon that blanketed the night
Melodic harmonies
Fragrance of lavender air
Blow's softly 'cross your gentle face
Exuberance and sheer rapture
Exudes the fire of long overdo embrace
Long overdo we so inspire ourselves
And dictate the keys of our care
Subtle yet tangible feelings
Tingle us into moments of aware
Hold me forever in your loving arms
And caress my heart with your song
Be gentle upon my moisted longing
Skin
Come hither beloved
As with me
'Tis where you belong

For My Lady

My boat sails stormy seas
Battles oceans filled with tears
At last my ports in view
Now that Ive discovered you
Oh Id give my life so lightly
For my gentle lady
Give it freely and completely
To my lady
As life goes drifting by
Like a breeze shell gently sigh
And slowly bow her head
Then youll hear her softly cry.
Oh Id give my life so lightly
For my gentle lady
Give it freely and completely
To my lady
Words that you say when were alone
Though actions speak louder than words
But all I can say is I love you so
To drive away all my hurt
Oh Id give my life so lightly
For my gentle lady
Give it freely and completely
To my lady
Set sail before the sun
Feel the warmth thats just begun
Share each and every dream
They belong to everyone.
Oh Id give my life so lightly
For my gentle lady
Give it freely and completely
To my lady

Gentle Morning Rain

You are as the gentle morning rain
Giving life to all that here below remain
Your scope unlimited across this earth’s terrain
Each speckled spot of moistness
Alights on my face with a gentle wakefulness
Awakening me to your love and gracefulness
In the gentle morning rain.

Your mid day sunlight melts the gentle rain
Your warmth over all of us does reign
The light by which we see and then attain
Each blessed ray of light illuminating
And revealing all that needs our understanding
Even in the dark your eternal light reflecting
You melt the gentle morning rain.

Your afternoon wind carries the gentle rain
Your breath gives us all our life to sustain
Our minds are cleared as you breathe again
Each gasp of breath breathed with life’s zest
How many breaths are measured for this chest
Before all my worldly goods I must bequest
You carry the gentle morning rain.

And when the evening comes that gentle rain
Is still present here, as love it does remain
In the twilight of this day it never goes away
Your love that is the gentle morning rain.

The Maids Of Elfin-Mere

When the spinning-room was here
Came Three Damsels, clothed in white,
With their spindles every night;
One and Two and three fair Maidens,
Spinning to a pulsing cadence,
Singing songs of Elfin-Mere;
Till the eleventh hour was toll'd,
Then departed through the wold.
Years ago, and years ago;
And the tall reeds sigh as the wind doth blow.

Three white Lilies, calm and clear,
And they were loved by every one;
Most of all, the Pastor's Son,
Listening to their gentle singing,
Felt his heart go from him, clinging
Round these Maids of Elfin-Mere.
Sued each night to make them stay,
Sadden'd when they went away.
Years ago, and years ago;
And the tall reeds sigh as the wind doth blow.

Hands that shook with love and fear
Dared put back the village clock,-
Flew the spindle, turn'd the rock,
Flow'd the song with subtle rounding,
Till the false 'eleven' was sounding;
Then these Maids of Elfin-Mere
Swiftly, softly, left the room,
Like three doves on snowy plume.
Years ago, and years ago;
And the tall reeds sigh as the wind doth blow.

One that night who wander'd near
Heard lamentings by the shore,
Saw at dawn three stains of gore
In the waters fade and dwindle.
Never more with song and spindle
Saw we Maids of Elfin-Mere,
The Pastor's Son did pine and die;
Because true love should never lie.
Years ago, and years ago;
And the tall reeds sigh as the wind doth blow.

A Memory Of A Red Strawberry

remember me as summer
better still a refreshing summer wind
from a green mountain
remember me as summer
summer strawberry
red, red strawberries
from your fingers to your
mouth to your tongue
sweet, sour, and luscious,
remember me, better remember me
as summer, wind, green mountain,
strawberry, red and luscious
staying in the grassy fields of your
heart and mind

remember me as past summer wind
as a mountain gone, as grass wilting,
as strawberry consumed
each flesh digested all within

Turned Out As A Wind

it was not known when,
but a gentle wind was blown here
puffed up with a lot of care
that would reflect someone's pain.
catching the hands of feet-burnt shadows
brought them back to the spread of shades.
a tree with fits of anger
was given a pat on the shoulder

buzzed and howled a swarm of flies
in the reddened eyes of a baby-cow.
they had made a meal of eyes
ere the flies were driven off by the wind.

the wind has fanned a mother who stews some tar
and an half-burnt baby too.
a blind man
who had scratched and scratched
and turned out insane,
stoned at the wind too.

once more wind was blown in disguise
as a word that spoken soft.
reached the shelter of cracking fireworks
but to put out the flaming fire,
caught in the flame
and charred and backed off.
kissed and kissed on the hoods of brooks
with swollen glands of small-pox pus,
and fell down fainted in a fatigue.
crows and cats of market places
took their turn to pick their shares
while this wind was ablaze with blue.
if you were a gentle wind
if i werte a gentle wind
we could've wiped out
the sweat of wind.

Ballad of Joe and Satchong

There's a lady from the orient sea
Such winsome lady and lovely
With her voice so sweet to hear
Melodious within the wind zephyr

A sweet rhythmic sound like a song
A pleasing tune of such song
That enchanted this fellow
And made his heart glow

Ah - lovely voice, said Joe
That encourage him to go
Or search for that voice
That makes his heart rejoice

He followed the gentle breeze
Across Atlantic and Pacific seas
As the ocean waves and rolls
He goes on with the gentle breeze with goals

In the air is the song for Joe
That makes his heart glow
And search that voice
That makes his soul rejoice

So within the breeze is the song
Said Joe, Oh what a lovely song
And so melodious voice
That makes my heart rejoice

He continue to follow gentle breeze
Across Atlantic and Pacific seas
There in the orient sea he found that such song
is from the lovely lady named Satchong

With the little winged Cherubim
Coveted them and their love woven
Their love are like in the air
Life like the gentle wind zephyr

'til now their love so sweet like a song
With this couple Joe and Satchong
So blessed with bright lifetime
So solid maybe until the end of time

Act Nice & Gentle

You dont need no fancy clothes
Whered you get them, goodness knows?
Just show some civility.
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.
I dont need no luxuries,
As long as you are understanding,
Im not difficult to please.
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.
Well Im the kind of guy who likes
To take you as I find you
So throw away those false eyelashes and,
Act nice, act nice, baby.
Come on baby, hold my hand.
Come on baby, understand, you gotta
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.
Come on baby, hold my hand.
Come on baby, understand, you gotta
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.
Act nice, act nice and gentle to me.

Sentimental Lady

Written by bob welch.
You are here and warm
But I could look away and youd be gone
Cause we live in a time
When meaning falls in splinters from our lives
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
And all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Now you are here today
But easily you might just go away
Cause we live in a time
When paintings have no color, words dont rhyme
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
And all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
You are here and warm
But I could look away and youd be gone
Cause we live in a time
When meaning falls in splinters from our lives
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
Yes and all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Well sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one

About Antonio's Infection

antonio's infection comes
from my own infection, and
so is candice's and
hazelen's infection of the
beautiful mind,

ahh, poetry, the beauty
of each word uttered in silence

each word be it sliding in the
snow and nesting in the
snowflakes

be it in the rustling of the
leaves in the tropical
sun of our islands

be it anywhere, the sound of
each word like a hush from
someone who is far away
and yet so near in the
touch of your sighs

ahh. poetry, the infection
of your sound and
rhythm

filling us softly with clouds
and stars and moon and
sun

upon the loneliness of our
plains and mountains

like a wind, a very cool wind
inside our hearts.

Angry Hills

heaven it shines in the dawn's early light
in a movement out in the brush
far out!
watering graves of the people who read in the book
of forbidden content
tragedy!
in a gentle way hear the angry hills
in a gentle way hear them laughing
imagination under attack for the
pictures I can't even think
i don't even know them
in a gentle way hear the angry hills
in a gentle way hear them laughing
in a gentle way
in a gentle way hear the angry hills
in a gentle way i am laughing
yes i am laughing
i am laughing

Song In The Wind

There's a wind in the air
Filled with song
A gentle voice
Low and long -
It sings life
And it sings time
It blows so easily through
Hearts and minds -
It's the word of wisdom
And the entirety of the ages
Embracing all being
From the audacious to the sages -
It sings out
Lifelong
Continuously calling
In a soulful song -
It's always there for everyone
Blowing free
Even unto our very last day
As it carries us, one by one, into eternity -
It is the Song in the wind
The Voice of the soul
It's the living sound
Every heart mysteriously, somehow does hear and know -

The Message

Wind of the gentle summer night,
Dwell in the lilac tree,
Sway the blossoms clustered light,
Then blow over to me.

Wind, you are sometimes strong and great,
You frighten the ships at sea,
Now come floating your delicate freight
Out of the lilac tree,

Wind you must waver a gossamer sail
To ferry a scent so light,
Will you carry my love a message as frail
Through the hawk-haunted night?

For my heart is sometimes strange and wild,
Bitter and bold and free,
I scare the beautiful timid child,
As you frighten the ships at sea;

But now when the hawks are piercing the air,
With the golden stars above,
The only thing that my heart can bear
Is a lilac message of love.

Gentle wind, will you carry this
Up to her window white
Give her a gentle tender kiss;
Bid her good-night, good-night.
