The Coven
I had shot a couple of pheasants,
Was returning, deep from the wood,
Avoiding the crackle of branches, making
As little noise as I could,
The sky was clear and a harvest moon
Shone down through the old oak leaves,
When I saw the glimmer of candlelight
Shimmering through the trees.
I hid myself by the mighty oak
That had grown, six hundred years,
And heard the mutter of chanting there,
The rhyme of an evil verse,
I looked on out to a clearing where
The Devil and all were stood,
Thirteen candles and thirteen cloaks
And thirteen wearing a hood.
The Devil stood on an ancient stump
His face was hid from the mass,
He held a crucifix upside down
They all bowed down in the grass,
A woman rose from the group and peeled
The cloak that covered her form,
The sight of her beauty caught my breath
As if I'd never been born!
The hood remained, and concealed her face
As she dropped down on all fours,
The Devil leapt from his stump, and raged,
Then took her there by force;
The others chanted and danced about
In a circle, for some rite,
Despoiling the Devil's chosen witch
Was the purpose of that night.
They all dispersed as the moon went in
Was hid by an ugly cloud,
I kept my eye on the Devil's form
He was wrapped in a purple shroud,
I trailed him, loping, out of the wood
Like a beast that's held at bay,
And brought him struggling to the ground
To see what he'd have to say.
I ripped the hood from his evil face,
He snarled and snapped in the night,
‘Let's have a look at those evil eyes! '
He growled, and put up a fight;
But I laid him low by the mansion gate
And I held him there on the ground,
He yelled: ‘I'm the Lord of Leighton Hay
The Lord of these these woods and downs! '
‘So this is the Demon Devil's face,
Then who was the Winsome Witch?
I'm sure the Lady of Leighton Hay
Would be ready to flay the bitch! '
‘You mustn't tell, it would break the spell
Of the coven, and all my power,
What would you take for your silence, now,
For the reck of this parlous hour! '
‘There's just one thing that I'd take from you
To silence this gossiping tongue,
She's sweet, petite, and has dancing feet,
And I guess you know, she's young! '
‘If you talk about Lady Caroline,
My daughter, never for you! '
‘Oh well, the Lady of Leighton Hay
May brew up a Hell of a stew! '
That was a year and a day ago,
We wed, and live in the lodge,
The witches are still in the woods out there,
I often go out to watch;
But my Lady wife is an innocent,
I know she'd never deceive,
Except for the pot of serpents and frogs
She brewed on All Hallows Eve!

Devil Woman
Ive had nothing but bad luck
Since the day I saw the cat at my door
So I came into you sweet lady
Answering your mystical call
Crystal ball on the table
Showing the future,the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
And I knew itwas a spell she cast
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you from behind
Give me the ring on your finger
Let me see the lines on your hand
I can see me a tall dark stranger
Giving you what you hadnt planned
I drank the potion she offered me
I found myself on the floor
Then I looked into those big green eyes
And I wondered what Id come there for
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you from behind
If youre out on a moonlit night
Be careful of them neighbourhood strays
Of a lady with long black hair
Tryin to win you with her feminine ways
Crystal ball on the table
Showing the future,the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
Youd better get out of there fast
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you
Shes just a devil woman
With evil on her mind
Beware the devil woman
Shes gonna get you...

Devil & Daughter
Silence is mocking the dawn of a new day
Devil and daughter are both on their way
The evil of her nature collects in her eyes
With him theres no fear of the dawn bringing light
Baptised with fire, too wild to be tamed
Shes hot, evil and ready to take any man
Let no one put assunder the power of the pain
He is the master of hell riding again
Devil and daughter - pleasure and pain
Devil and daughter - is this the end
A thousand times over, youll hear on the wind
In the name of hell, these sinners never sinned
But satan never listens to the words that they send
Drenching the soul with blood, when will it end
Devil and daughter
Hes got the power, shes got the pain
Devil and daughter
Shell break any woman and take any man
Devil and daughter
Hand in hand with the reaper

The Devil Within
Devil inside the mask thats displayed
On your knees you honor your master as you decieve
Leaving the doors you then show your true self
Evil walks as the devil that dwells in you
Your gangs and criminals with violence and murder will rebound
For we many in a hell where evil dwells in many hearts
Repent now to save yourself from losing your soul
If you choose to stay in hell to continue speading your evil from one life to the next torment will never end in your mind
Your true happiness with love will never be found
You will only be lost in your evil devil ways over and over For the devil is not in the ground as words say to be feared at the end
The devil is here now and must change his evil ways for a better world

Devil eyes
You had eyes like the devil.
So red and angry.
You were by far vile.
You were and are pure evil.
You have eyes of the devil.
You are evil.
Your a match for santon himself.
All you can do is hurt little girls.
Its all you know how to do.
You hurt me and probaly others.
You had a smile of the devil.
To go with your devil eyes.
You were luaghing the whole time.
As I lay crying.
Begging you to stop.
But you were the devil.
And the devil dosent stop.
I was 11 when you had your go.
But rape was all I had known.
You werent the first
And you werent the last.
By bludy god I hate you.
Your worse than the devil.
But you have the devils eyes

Sold My Soul
I prayed to God and jesus
But I guess they didnt hear
My sacrfice was useless
My pleas fell on deaf ears
So I cried in desperation
Bowed to evil sorcery
I looked to the lord in heaven
But he must have looked away
My crying eyes repentant
Please send her love to light my day
So I cried in desperation
Bowed to evil sorcery
I sold my soul
Sold my soul
I sold my soul to the devil
So I cried in desperation
Bowed to evil sorcery
I sold my soul
Sold my soul
I sold my soul to the devil
Sold my soul
Sold my soul
I sold my soul
Sold my soul
Sold my soul to the devil
To the devil
Sold my soul
Sold my soul
I sold my soul
I sold my soul

Devil Dance
lucifer falls from grace
the host of heaven watch
his disgrace
satan walks the earth
doing the devil dance
man is mine to take
evil lurks within his heart
woman calls to man come here
man walks over to eve to talk
takes the apple she does hold
bites deep in the forbidden fruit
as satan does the devil dance
man is mine to take
evil lurks within his heart
two for one done done
the devil walks across the molten sea
deep below the deep blue sea
devil dance he begins
man and woman both
ill take for evil lurks
within their breast
as lucifer
as satan
as devil
do the devil dance.

The Devil Went Down To Georgia
***************************************
Primus - The Devil Went Down To Georgia
***************************************
The devil went down to Georgia
He was lookin' for a soul to steal
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind
And he was willing to make a deal
When he came across this young man
Sawing on a fiddle and playing it hot
And the devil jumped up on a hickory stump
And said, "Boy let me tell you what
"I guess you didn't know it
But I'm a fiddle player too
And if you'd care to take a dare
I'll make a bet with you"
"Now you play pretty good fiddle, son
But give the devil his due
I bet a fiddle of gold against your soul
'Cause I think I'm better than you"
The boy said "My name's Johnny
And it might be a sin
But I'll take your bet and you're gonna regret
'Cause I'm the best that's ever been"
Johhny you resin up your bow
And play your fiddle hard
'Cause Hell's broke loose in Georgia
And the devil deals the cards
And if you win
You get this shiny fiddle made of gold
But if you lose
The devil gets your soul
The devil openned up his case
And he said "I'll start this show"
And fire flew from his fingertips
As he resined up his bow
And he pulled the bow across the strings
And it made an evil hiss
Then a band of demons joined in
And it sounded something like this
When the devil finished Johnny said
"Well you're pretty good, old son
But sit down in that chair right there
And let me show you how its done"
{Refrain}
Fire on the mountain, run boys run
The devil's in the house of the rising sun
Chicken in the bread pan pickin' out dough
Granny does your dog bite, no child no
The devil bowed his head
Because he knew that he'd been beat
And he laid that golden fiddle
On the ground at Johnny's feet
Johnny said "Devil, just come on back
If you ever want to try again
But I told you once, you son of a bitch
I'm the best that's ever been"
He played
Fire on the mountain, run boys run
The devil's in the house of the rising sun
Chicken in the bread pan pickin' out dough
Granny does your dog bite, no child no

Rag & Reed
John lived down in Haywood Lane
Beside the wood, the river's course
And walked each day to see Bernice
His dark-haired lady, for discourse.
She had a melancholy air
A sad and gloomy way with her
And questioned why life wasn't fair,
John never had much sway with her.
He'd argue through the early hours
And speak his love, implicitly,
But she would snap in anger then,
'Your love won't buy the bread for me.'
For seven years they'd to and fro'd
For she would leave, then ask him back,
While he would sit alone and grieve
At every trait that she'd attack.
She always spoke of breaking up
Of taking time out, making space,
Until the day he called on her
To find that he had been displaced.
A woman answered at the door,
And barred his entry as she spoke,
He'd never seen her face before
She wore a witches hat, and cloak.
'She doesn't want to see you now
She said it's over, go away!
Now we'll be looking after her,
You're finished, done! You've had your day! '
'We've been together seven years, '
He tried to say, but she was gone,
Had slammed the door right in his face
And of Bernice there was no sign.
He phoned her then, when he got back,
The voice that answered wasn't hers,
A grating, rasping voice had said,
'Stop phoning, you have been her curse! '
John asked around the village then
Just who this woman was, and more,
He found out there were two of them
Had moved in just the day before.
The locals said they were well known
Two women from an evil seed,
They played with witchcraft, set their spells,
One called Rag and one called Reed.
They would batten on to weakness
Use their spells to hypnotize,
Said that they'd look after them, then
Move on in and rule their lives.
John sat grieving in his cottage,
Wandered aimless through the wood,
Stalked Bernice's house at night
To try to fathom what he could.
Then one night he saw them, dancing,
In a clearing in the wood,
Chanting spells and laughing, prancing
Calling on old Beelzebub.
'We have brought another convert,
Satan, you must be well pleased!
Send your devils down to take her...'
There was Bernice, on her knees.
On her knees there in the clearing,
Looking dazed, or drugged somehow,
'Send your cohorts down to take her,
See, we make her naked now.'
Then the one called Rag had turned
And torn the gown from off Bernice,
Under it she knelt stark naked,
On all fours, amongst the trees.
John had seen enough, and ran
The tears of grief welled at his eyes,
Pacing in his cottage then
He schemed and planned for their demise.
Cast about and found the items
That would even up the score,
Scoured Junk Shops, bought some hardware,
Saw the farmer Ron Trezore.
Checked the Almanac for April
Marked in red the next full Moon,
Modified his Ghetto Blaster,
Tried recording in his room.
On the night the Moon was rising
Once again he sought the wood,
Hid behind an old oak tree
Beside the clearing, in his hood.
Then at midnight, they came prancing,
They came dancing through the trees,
Dragged along with chains behind them
There he saw his love, Bernice.
Soon they stripped themselves in fervour,
Dancing naked on the green,
Calling on the wily Satan,
Shouting things that were unclean.
Then from out the bushes, roaring,
Came a figure, caked in blood,
Head of sheep and horns of goat,
Satan - in his glory stood!
Rag had yelped and Reed had screamed
And tried to hide their naked forms,
'On all fours, ' the demon growled,
And they had dropped before his horns.
Then he showered them with offal,
Then he poked them, with a stick,
Rag had wailed and Reed threw up
The ghetto blaster did its bit.
Chains and moans and clanking noises
Issued from the speakers there,
Flames burst out from both his hands
And left them both bereft of hair.
Soon the devil walked a circle
Traced them round a ring of fire,
'Should you move before the dawn
I'll take you to your funeral pyre! '
Then he left them, took Bernice
Who came back to his world again,
Marveled at the love he'd shown
And thanked the devil for good men.
The last I heard of Rag and Reed
They worked in some old Nunnery,
Washing dishes, being pious,
Bald on top where hair should be.
John moved in with his Bernice
They never seem to argue now,
Hung right on the mantelpiece
A pair of horns reminds them how.

The Witches' Glen - An Auld Tale
Gather aroon the ingle nuek
For ae eerie tale I'll tell -
'Boot a glen whar a witchy spook
Cast folk in her terrible spell.
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she was the devil's queen.
Warlocks an witches dance at night
When the full-moon turns its ken!
Thunder rides on a bolt of light
The deil's in the witches' glen!
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she was the devil's queen.
Auld trees hang o'er the twisted wynd
An' blot oot the licht o' day;
An there, there's staring eyes tae find
A stranger wha's lost their way.
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she was the devil's queen.
Frae Grennan wood she hailed an flew
A flash thru the black night wind
Come witchin hour everyin knew
She'd get a' the folks wha sinned.
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she was the devil's queen.
They burned her on Kirkmaiden hill
An' they bound her on a stake:
She chanted spells that made 'em ill
An' they pray'd for Jesus' sake.
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she was the devil's queen.
When ere ye walk the witches' glen,
Whar branches stretch oot like hands
Tak' Bible, cross an' say, Amen!
An' heed the guid Lord's commands.
Her hair sae black, her eyes sae green
Black Meg she's still there tae be seen.

Lady Evil
Theres a place just south of witches valley
Where they say the wind wont blow
And they only speak in whispers of a name
Theres a lady they say who feeds the darkness
It eats right from her hand
With a crying shout shell search you out
And freeze you where you stand
Lady evil, evil
Shes a magical, mystical woman
Lady evil, evil in my mind
Shes queen of the night
All right!
In a place just south of witches valley
Where they say the rain wont fall
Thunder cracks the sky, it makes you bleed
Theres a lady they say who needs the darkness
She cant face the light
With an awful shout, shell find you out
And have you before the night
Lady evil, evil
Shes a magical, mystical woman
Lady evil, evil on my mind
Shes queen of the night
So if you ever get to witches valley
Dont dream or close your eyes
And never trust your shadow in the dark
cause theres a lady I know who takes your vision
And turns it all around
The things you see are what youll be, lost and never found
Lady evil, evil
Shes a magical, mystical woman
Lady evil, evil on my mind
Shes queen of the night
Gonna do you right!
Shes the queen of sin
Look out, shell pull you in!
Lady wonder!

I've Seen The Devil (And He Looks Like You)
I've watched people in this world,
do evil things to each other,
I've seen them do evil things to the ones,
that they love and cherish,
but I never understood why they did,
the things that they do,
war to me is so useless,
couldn't we just find other ways,
to settle our differences,
except for trying to talk it out,
we put guns in the arms of our young ones,
Chorus: I've Seen The Devil,
and He looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and he looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and He Looks like you,
but do we really know what its all about,
do we really know why we do the things we do,
like going to war with one another,
trying to beat the devil that lives inside all of us,
I see the devil every single day,
I see him on the late night news,
and I see him on the covers of our magazines,
he tells us it’s going to be alright,
and that the wars going to be over,
only if we follow him,
and his un-holy union,
Chorus: I've Seen The Devil,
and He looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and he looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and He Looks like you,
but I don't see why we should,
follow you and your ways,
follow your path of destruction,
follow you and your destruction of the world,
why should we follow you,
you whisper stuff in our ears,
you say it’s going to be alright,
the next war that we fight will be the war of wars,
and we'll all die a Nuclear Holocaust,
and than we'll start a new,
The world would be new,
like back then when Jesus ruled,
when the world was new,
and not filled with your evilness,
and not filled with you,
Chorus: I've Seen The Devil,
and He looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and he looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and He Looks like you,
ever since time began we've been fighting,
fighting a war that we could never win,
a war within ourselves,
but the people in the world,
they fill us up with religious beliefs,
which is wrong,
and which is right,
we could never win the war within ourselves,
were so fed up with this world,
that we'd kill each other,
and ourselves to find a way out,
because we'd always knew that,
the children of today and the children of now,
would soon become,
children of the grave,
children of the darkness,
they'd become Satan's little soldiers,
Chorus: I've Seen The Devil,
and He looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and he looks like you,
I've Seen The Devil,
and He Looks like you,

When I Was The Devil
When I was the devil
I sent many a devil
To my brother the devil
In Hell his abode.
.
When I was the devil
I lived half my years
In darkness and fear
I never had rest.
.
So glad I found Christ
Who brought me light
Never again shall
I wander from your sight.

The Devils Hands
The Demons of hell
could live next door
The Devil and his son
could be under your floor
Satan and his crew
could be stood
right next to you
Beware evil is everywhere
look in the mirror
see who's behind you
you never know
they could be coming for you
The Devil
and those hands...
They want you

Angelique
From the time that I wake to the time that I rise, shes a lover and so am i
But the lady loves her passion more than me
When Im under her spell, then I know very well, how her magic can mystify
And the lady leaves her lovers in ecstasy
Shes young, but shes wise, and the heaven in her eyes at half a glance
Is as much as a man can see
But shell never really love any more than any other lover in her life
And youll come to know the devil in angelique
For a moment it seems Im a part of her dreams
And she loves like shes hypnotized
While she hides inside the man shes made of me
And then just when Ive found her, her visions surround her
And Ill never fill her eyes, but I wonder who in hell the young girl sees
And she moans, and she sighs, and you search inside her eyes
But all you find is a man who can never be
And you wonder if shell ever discover that the devil could never set her free
Shes young, but shes wise, and the heaven in her eyes at half a glance
Is as much as any man can see
And youll never really lose any more than any other lover has lost in her life
When youve come to know the devil in angelique
And youll come to know the devil in angelique
And youll learn to love the devil

Hes Evil
Scene: a party political broadcast -- mr. black and his followers
He comes on smooth, cool and kind,
But he wants your body not your mind.
Hes got style, personality,
But hes the devil in reality.
Hell make you laugh, make you smile,
And make you feel good for a while.
Wicked smile, decadent grin,
He likes school girls, nuns and virgins.
His skin is soft but his mind is hard,
Hell lead you on then hell tear you apart.
Hell treat you rough and he will make you cry,
And you will kiss sweet innocence good-bye.
And once youre in therell be no getting out,
So look out, look out, look out, look out.
Hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil.
Hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil.
Hes got wit hes got charm.
But when he gets rough hell break your arm.
Hes got taste, manners and grace,
But when he gets tough hell slit your face.
Hell buy you jewels, expensive clothes,
Then his mindll go and hell bust your nose.
Hes a joker and a clown
But hell pervert you and drag you down.
He comes on smooth, cool and kind,
But he wants your body not your mind,
He is just the devil in disguise.
He will drag you down and he will make you cry,
And once youre in there will be no getting out.
So look out, look out, look out.
Look out, look out, look out.
Hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil.
Hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil. hes evil.

The Season of the Witch
Most of the country is hushed out there
As the Moon climbs over the hill,
The creatures out in the wild beware
And the air is breathless, still,
The deer is stood at the edge of the wood
Afraid to go in too soon,
With the animals skittish, out in the yard
A hare stares up at the Moon.
There's something amiss in the air tonight
Both furtive and dark, unclean,
Shadows are lurking by old stone walls
In wait for a sign to be seen,
The men all sit in a vacant trance
As the women go out by the ditch,
Wearing their smoke-black cloaks in the dance
For the Season of the Witch.
Then like the flutter of vampire bats
The witches take to their brooms,
Hang on to their tall black pointed hats
And fly low over the tombs,
They head in a swarm up Gallows Hill
Fulfilling some ancient rite,
While watchful eyes at the window-sill
Will get little sleep this night.
For Alison, Lindy, Carmen and Deb
Are watching their mothers leave,
Tucked into bed as their mothers' fled
The girls creep out to deceive,
Pulling the curtains aside they see
The flight go over the hill,
And hear the cackling sounds of glee,
Then the air is cold and still.
Then Lindy calls to the other three
Through the window out to the farm:
‘Let's climb up there, where we all can see
What they're doing from high in the barn! '
So they dress themselves in their winter cloaks
And they put on their witches hats
That the mothers had made for Halloween,
Had decorated with bats.
They climbed up over the stacked up hay
To the roof of the timbered barn,
And they peered from the moonlit bullock dray
To the trees by the hilltop farm,
But the witches danced in a grove of trees
Quite hidden from anyone's sight,
‘Let's take our brooms, ' said Alison Keys
‘And fly while the Moon is bright! '
‘Let's fly while the Moon is bright, ' she said,
So they stood at the edge of the hay,
Looked down to the old paved cattle yard
And the tractor, over the way.
‘We saw them fly, we can do it too,
We're witches tonight, we've seen!
Tonight is the magical mystery night
For witches - it's Halloween! '
They mounted their broomsticks, held their breath
Then leapt each one with a scream,
They dropped like stones to the cattle yard
On the night of Halloween,
They were found impaled on the thresher blades
That was parked beside the ditch,
And the screams could be heard a mile away
In the Season of the Witch!

Mitt Romney = Soldier For The Lord Poem
I'm a soldier for the Lord
Who's been up and who's been down
Though while on the battlefield
I have never turned around.
I face more than flesh and blood
With the Devil's evil hoard.
But they shall not steal my soul
For I swing my Lord's swift sword.
I wear all of God's armor
With helmet, breastplate and shield.
As Satan's arrows fly by
From his archers of the field.
The Devil casts his dark net
Over any he may charm.
He'll lead them from salvation
With his hands upon their arm.
I battle evil daily
And I pray that you'll join me.
We're not alone in this world
For we're loved and watched by Thee.
If President George Washington was alive and well
And spoke to America of troubles we face today.
I wonder what he might faithfully suggest
And would we heed to anything he would say?

Fall Dog Bombs The Moon
- Album: Reality
- Lyrics and music by David Bowie
Hope little girl
Come blow me away
I don't care much
I will anyway
Just a dog
I'm Goddamn rich
I'm exploading mad
When I talk in the night
It's all in my hands
What a dog
Fall Dog is good and smart
Smart time breaks the heart
Fall Dog bombs the moon
Devil in the market place
Devil in your bleeding face
Fall Dog bombs the moon
What a dog
There's always a moron
Someone to hate
A corporate tire
A wig in the date
Just a dog
These blackest of years
That have no sound
No shape, no depth
No underground
What a dog
Fall Dog is good and smart
Smart time breaks the heart
Fall Dog bombs the moon
The Devil in the market place
The Devil in your bleeding face
Fall Dog bombs the moon
What a dog

Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea
Between the devil and the deep blue sea
Everywhere I turn its got a hold on me
Between the devil and the deep blue sea
Everywhere I run it wont let me be
Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
Between the devil and the deep blue sea
Can somebody somebody somebody help me please
Between the thunder and the driving rain
Could I ever be, be the same again
Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
Holding on
Waiting for some good luck to come
Come my way, set me free
Its that old boy himself and he always knew
Sooner or later
If you dont say whats true youll end in chains
And youll always be
Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
