Mistaken Identity
The mother lay in a stupor filled
With alcohol and drugs,
The twins lay wet in the carry-cot
And screamed at the top of their lungs,
The boyfriend of the moment sat
At a bar in a nearby town,
Drinking away the welfare cheque
And taking them further down.
Sally Pearce was a homely girl
As such, and easily led,
Many a teenage male had found
His way to her maiden bed,
They bought her favours with alcohol
And hooked her on cocaine,
They so befuddled her mind that she
Could not remember her name.
So Jack had her in the morning when
The sun was low in the sky,
While Derek had her lunch when she
Had snorted coke, and was high,
She carried the seeds of both of them
And both of them found a home,
Embedded deep in her ovaries
As she lay drugged out, alone.
So when she heard she was having twins
She didn't know who to blame,
But thought it must be the first of them
So gave the twins Jack's name,
She didn't know that their fathers were
As different as chalk and cheese,
For Jack passed on a criminal gene
While Derek passed S.T.D's.
The first one born was Timothy,
With a mop of jet black hair,
Then twenty minutes to follow on
Came Adam, so pale and fair,
They could have been Cain and Abel
If she'd only studied the book,
For Adam was such a happy child
While Tim had an evil look.
She hardly saw them growing up
They learned to fend for themselves,
They'd go and ransack the kitchen
Pulling the food right off the shelves,
The boyfriends came and the boyfriends went
In a long, continuous line,
They didn't know what a father was
Nor a mother, most of the time.
The only love that they ever knew
Was their love for the brother twin,
For they were the only constants as
The others came out and in,
While Adam took to his books and proved
A whiz at Math in his school,
Timothy fought a constant war
To tell the truth, he was cruel.
He punched the boys and tortured the girls
And dipped their plaits in the ink,
Protected Adam from bullies and fools
But never had cause to think,
Adam went on to Uni while
Timothy took to the street,
Dealing in drugs, and taking home
Enough for his mother to eat.
Adam had met a girl called Gaye
She liked that his eyes were brown,
He gave her his sophomore ring one day
Escorted her round the town,
She wanted to meet his brother, Tim
But Adam would not be drawn,
He said that his brother had gone away
‘Til he called one day, to the dorm.
Timothy's eyes had met with Gaye's
And they felt a shock of delight,
For opposites often attract, they say,
As day will follow on night,
For Gaye was ripe with an innocence
That will fall for an evil spell,
So Timothy started meeting her
In the quad, by the old stairwell.
They found her body at Easter-time
Down an old storm-water drain,
Raped and beaten, her throat was cut,
And they said, ‘He must be insane! '
Adam was taken down to the cells
And grilled for almost a day,
‘You were the girl's last boyfriend,
We'll be taking your D.N.A.'
The D.N.A. was almost a match
Enough for a guilty plea,
While Adam strongly denied the charge,
‘It certainly wasn't me! '
He didn't mention his brother's name,
But hoped he would see the day
When Timothy came to visit him,
But Timothy went away.
They came for him in the dawning light
And marched him into the shed,
His lips were trembling as he stood
And bit his lip ‘til it bled,
‘Any last words you'd like to say
Before you pay for your sin? '
The rope had tightened around his neck
When he almost whispered, ‘…'

didn't want to miss a chance schemes
old never let any chance go by themes
but some policy chances prove risky
was Adam angry first with Eve
who then put blame on sneaky snake
Eve was deceived so blame Adam
it was man Adam who deliberately sinned
Adam knew what he was choice dice doing
not like poor Eve who was conned deceived
neither took responsibility for their actions
if they had face copped up perhaps we would

Brother Sun and Sister Moon
When light was fashioned here and there
Before the Cosmic dust,
God saw it was beyond compare
And worthy of His trust,
That's why He gave Man eyes to see,
Observing all he could,
From what there was and was to be,
Then choosing what was good.
The sun and moon shone day and night
While Adam looked above,
Then Adam sensed something not right,
He had no-one to love...
The lights of day and night combined
In perfect harmony,
But he had no-one he could find
To keep him company...
'Why is this so? ' he asked the Lord,
Who'd saved the best till last...
'Fear not, your plight won't be ignored,
Your loneliness is past.
You had to sense it in your heart,
To learn just how that felt...
To know there was a missing part
That caused your joy to melt...'
Then Adam slept, one rib to lose,
The Lord new life to make...
The woman Adam was to choose
To take away the ache...
When Adam woke, his eyes were glad,
For beauty was at hand
And gone all thoughts of feeling sad,
When told what God had planned...

For they portrayed the truth,
Upon each other, each depends
And that's a solemn truth...

In the summer that I was baptized my father held me to his side

The Making of a Man
When God made Adam long ago, He fashioned him supreme,
A billion thoughts that he might know his life was not a dream...
Thus no excuses could release that Man that God had made,
If by his sins he lost God's peace and through guilt was dismayed...

They did not treat Man as a foe, so new to Godly ways...
Yet Lucifer was mortified when Eve was introduced,
As God created from Man's side this female not refused...

Why was Adam
'Why was Adam driven from the garden?'
The pupil asked his master. 'His heart was hardened
With images, a hundred bonds that clutter the earth
Chained Adam to the cycle of death following birth.
He was blind to this equation, living for something other
Than God and so out of paradise he was driven
With his mortal body's cover his soul was shriven.
Noblest of God's creatures, Adam fell with blame,

Into history which taught mankind shame.
Since Adam had not given up his heart
To God's attachment, there was no part

Adam Project Top Secret Time Travel
a few decades past
in late twentieth century
scientists had cloned
Dolly a cloned sheep
next came Adam project
time travel top secret classified
to post paradise wilderness
Adam Eve wander as out casts
Adam located
DNA was cloned
Adam resurrected
to view scientific world
the magnifigance
of a western world
whim leisure elite
to marvel at.
Adam spoke
of how quiet
it once was
how holy
how empty
the earth
how all life
was sacred.
Time passes.
Moralists honoured
known named
by Adam personally
thought Adam would
elect to refrain
from entry
into a post
Eden world again.
Yet Adam loved
so much created life
he died to save it.
Once was not enough.
The moral seed
Adam God learned
was to nurture
all life as sacred.
The chastity
belt was too bitter
a pill to swallow
Adam entered
into a true guardianship
of life all his progeny.
A loving parental lesson
divine taught must endure
until a soul seed
creating paradise
leaves earth life
for higher
spiritual growth
in aspired to heaven
more enlightened souls
will sow peace harmony.

Theory of Evolution in Islam
The holy Koran supports
Theory of evolution
But it opines that
God has created human at first
In a different way
Since humans are His best creation
The angels took mud from the earth
To God’s main court in paradise
Then God expanded His visible glow
So that the angels can see His body
And make a body like His body with it
But the angels were unable
To make the face
Because God’s body
Is the most beautiful thing
Consequently
God’s body made the face
Of Adam with His own hand
And gave finishing touch
Then he breathed into
Adam’s body a soul
And Adam became alive
Afterward
God created Eve
From a bone of Adam’s breast
By necessary genetic mutations.
