In Your Dark Slated Halls

When I am away
And you are there
Padding the dark corners
And the distant stair,
I carry you with me
As quietly you sit
Deep lost in some thought;
Am I part of it?

And a hundred miles
May lie in between,
But the sky is blue
And the grass is green,
And you in my heart
Will lift my despair;
In your dark slated halls,
Am I with you there?

My Dark

Why do I always seek the dark?
The nice wholesome dark
Never judging; never caring
Self helping dark

The dark corners of my life
These corners are my life
Where ever I go I seek
These dark corners; my corners

They make me feel secure
Feel wanted; surrounded
At peace
Like the rest of the world is gone

Why must I use the dark?
Where do these issues come from?
Where does this sorrow come from?
Why can’t I have answers?

I need these dark corners
They are so reassuring
Their echoes speak to me; they don’t mock me
They are my dark safe corners

Despair/Suicide

When you feel so lost and lonely
and the world feels like despair
and there is no one to talk to
your hell is out there
the darkness of that tunnel
goes on for miles and miles
no golden flickers of light
only more and more despair
that feeling just creeps over you
it gains more power and strength
as you reach out for the tablets
taking one with each dark step
before you know it there all gone
how many did you take?
what the hell i dont care! !
theres no one to listen to you anyways
my life has been a misery
for oh so many years
it never seems to get better
just more and more despair
you lay down on a dark cold path
just waiting for to die
you can feel the drugs take over
with each and every sigh
your heart is getting weaker
the beats are slowing down
and you cant cry for help
you cant even make a sound
so as you lay there in the cold and dark
your breath is very shallow
your eyes will close for ever now
and you will find your peace out there.

A Million Miles Away

You think I'm cool
But I am not
You think that I am nonchalant
You think I'm hard
That I lay the part
Don't be fooled
You are my heart
Oh Babe I'm just so tired of being on the run

Babe when I can't feel your touch
and we've lost another day
Seems like a million miles away
I wander in the dark
Looking for somewhere to stay
Seems like I'm a million miles away

Without love what have we got
All these things don't mean a lot
Let's disregard the past and start
A new fire
From this old spark
Let's take this love
And make it hotter than the sun

Babe when I can't feel your touch
And we've lost another day
Seems like a million miles away
I wander in the dark
Looking for somewhere to stay
Seems like I'm a million miles away

What am I looking for ?
What am I dreaming of ?
When you are the woman that I really love

Babe when I can't feel your touch
And we've lost another day
Seems like a million miles away
I wander in the dark
Looking for somewhere to stay
Seems like I'm a million miles away

So Dark

{remix of dark from come (1994)}
So dark, so dark (dark) {x2}
Inside lookin out my window
I dont see nothin but rain
Sun up in the sky just-a-shinin (just-a-shinin)
Still Im lost in my shadow of pain (mm-hmm)
Like an innocent man thats on death row
I dont understand what made u go
And wanna leave me, baby
Leave me in the dark
Can u tell me, tell me?
U took my sex and my money (money)
Took all my self-esteem, yes u did
U had the nerve 2 think it was funny (funny)
I never knew a bitch so mean, yes sir
U absolutely drove a man 2 tears
All I really know is that u sincerely
Wanna hurt me, baby
Oh, yes u do
U wanna hurt me in the dark
Sunshine - somebody make the sun shine
Dark cloud - somebody take this dark cloud away
Just as sure as noah built the ark (thats how sure)
Thats how sure I am u broke my heart
How could u, baby, leave me in the dark?
Baby, its so dark
So dark, so dark (dark)
Feel like the sun aint never gonna shine
U left me in the dark
So dark, so dark (dark)
I dont know, I dont know why we ever had 2 part
Baby, cant see a damn thing out my window, its so dark
So dark, so dark (dark)
Sometimes I want 2 curse the ground u walk on
Even when I know that everything u feel, I feel it 2
I wanna curse u, baby
Ooh, u left me in the dark
And now I want 2 curse u, baby (I wanna curse u, baby)
4 leavin me alone, alone, alone (u left me in the dark)
Oh, yes u did
And now all I wanna say is
In the dark
Ow! u left me {x2}
Its like being on death row (in the dark)
I dont understand why u had 2 go
I dont understand why u (hurt me in the dark)
Dont understand why u (hurt me in the dark)
Dont understand why u hurt me, hurt me, hurt me, hurt me here!
Just leave me (in the dark)
(in the dark)
So dark, so dark (dark) (in the dark)
So dark, so dark (dark)
(in the dark)

Final Door.......

Brown house
Grey smiles
Green green grass
Black shoes
Crystal tears with heart felt whispers
Hugs

Blue sky with cream teeth
Green green grass
(hold that thought)
Glassed water grasped
Taut innards
Flowers brought

White horses
Braided manes
White lilies
Window pane
White carriage
To carry forth
Green green grass
Hold that thought

Passing traffic
Collars grasped
Blurry images
Tend then pass
Crystal tears
Smart black tie
Shake and smile
Avoid the eye

Deep breath enter in
Listen watch
Let them begin
Then stare at the floor

'Bye bye darling'
Open door

The Pit of Despair!

The pit of despair is a deep, dark lonely place,
In which the likes of evil people face.
A place of solitude, misery and misfortune,
To where the tainted hearts must go.
People like Christina, Dayton, Jerry and Nate should be,
While the devil makes them pay for their sins.
A deep, dark hole,
Where sinners pay a toll.
From the dark depths of the earth.
Despair comes to take the souls of dark hearted people.
The pit of despair is not a friendly place,
For once you are there you may never leave.
While you’re in despair you will know pain,
For you will be tortured for days end.
Despair is hard, damn near impossible to escape,
Especially for a child how has seen rape.
Some people have escaped and are happy,
While others have not and are miserable.
Down they plummet,
To the cold depths of the underworld,
Where they are being waited for.
When in despair,
You’re in place where no one wishes to be,
You’re in hell, a place of despair,
The Pit of Despair.

Deep And Dark

Down, I am down
On the grond, sad and tired
Im down, it's over now
Yes I'm down, should I like it
It's deep and dark
Deep down in my heart
lt's deep and dark
Since we've been apart
ls this love that comes around
That takes me up light years higher
'cause I wanna feel love once again
It's deep and dark
Deep down in my heart
lt's deep and dark
Since we've been apart
It's deep and dark
Deep down in my heart
lt's deep and dark
Without someones love

The Road I Travel

With in my mind, I thought I knew
That I dare not travel back,
This road so dark, dim, and blue,

With trees, ever changing of truth.
This familiar path, so like a knack,
Within my mind. I thought I knew

The way down it and what I’ll do,
But all my thoughts seemed to lack
This road so dark, dim, and blue.

I tried to stray, to part from you,
With your spiteful cement, all black,
Within my mind. I thought I knew.

But I cannot, I won’t sort through
The sky of lies that make and crack
This road so dark, dim, and blue.

So vain, yet suddenly true.
To this place, I still travel back,
Within my mind. I thought I knew
This road so dark, dim, and blue.

I need my heart!

I lost my heart
I can't find it
In the dark
My family was my heart

I lost them
Now its tearing me apart
Alone searching in the dark
All i want is my heart

To feel it beat
Would make me strong
To feel my blood
Would carry me on

I need my heart
Just to face this darkness
Just to fight this
Coldness surrounding me

I need my heart
To fill this emptyness
Inside me
But i can't find it
In the dark
I can't love
Without my heart
I need my heart!

My Heart Is Like An Ocean

my heart is like an ocean
cold, dark, deep and black
with strange, dark, mysterious things
hidden in the depths

as men get lost at see
so does the rhythmic beatings of my heart
and like the waves of cold and salt wash over the sandy beaches
so of waves of sorrow and despair wash over my cold lifeless heart

my heart is like an ocean
cold, dark, deep and black
an as little creatures slowly eat away at the depths
so do my secrets, hopes and desires, eat away at he depths of my heart

My Deep

You're more lovely than all the shades
of greens and purples of any precious garden.

You're my most dreamless sleep,
my green, my cool and dark and deep.

Your smile's worth more than all the jewels
within the earth, begging at your feet.

Hot and humid, overtired. I beg for sleep!
My fresh, my green, my dark and deep.

My purple! Oh, for a dreamless sleep!
My green, my cool, my dark and deep.

You are sweeter than summer night's jasmine
and brighter than the sun's morning laughter.

My Prince, my man, my green lovely, my sleep!
my best, my fresh, my cool, my dark and deep.

The Night Hunt

In the morning, in the dark,
When the stars begin to blunt,
By the wall of Barna Park
Dogs I heard and saw them hunt
All the parish dogs were there,
All the dogs for miles around,
Teeming up behind a hare,
In the dark, without a sound.

How I heard I scarce can tell--
'Twas a patter in the grass--
And I did not see them well
Come across the dark and pass;
Yet I saw them and I knew
Spearman's dog and Spellman's dog
And, beside my own dog too,
Leamy's from the Island Bog.

In the morning when the sun
Burnished all the green to gorse,
I went out to take a run
Round the bog upon my horse;
And my dog that had been sleeping
In the heat beside the door
Left his yawning and went leaping
On a hundred yards before.

Through the village street we passed--
Not a dog there raised a snout--
Through the street and out at last
On the white bog road and out
Over Barna Park full pace,
Over to the Silver Stream,
Horse and dog in happy race,
Rider between thought and dream.

By the stream, at Leamy's house,
Lay a dog -- my pace I curbed --
But our coming did not rouse
Him from drowsing undisturbed;
And my dog, as unaware
Of the other, dropped beside
And went running by me there
With my horse's slackened stride.

Yet by something, by a twitch
Of the sleeper's eye, a look
From the runner, something which
Little chords of feeling shook,
I was conscious that a thought
Shuddered through the silent deep
Of a secret -- I had caught
Something I had known in sleep.

You, the Dark

Dark, She is the mind of yours.
Icy chill of thought becomes
A steely shimmer.
Behold a glimmer in the black -
A flash of grey, that even glows
In show against the hallowed dark of you.

And that is why you scream in jarring tones
'I have no heart for joy!
My white and brittle bones have died'
You cried in dark and fractured moans.

So now the Queen of Black you writhe,
Whence from dark of shade
That honed an evil form afar;
In curse of me you bade:

'I, the wave shall rape the shore!
Violence will there be in glares I'll throw
At all who prey, and more:
A dark and fetid sea I'll bleed.'

And now, the bitter tinge
And bleak of waste
That eyed the death of once your soul
Will here forever be!

Indeed you tell:
'The cramping pain is here!
Eternal spasm, infinite chasm,
The Devil's chaplain plays!
We'll climax in a tortured glee
As all my love decays.'

Carry Me Through

Time has come,
To start my search for tomorrow.
On and on,
Theres just no end to the sorrow.
But I designed a way,
To see my life through pity.
I dont have too much to say,
And the tears wont let me be.
So,
Chorus
Carry me through the hard part.
Help me find a new start.
Carry me through the hard part.
Far too long,
Ive thought of all the excuses.
Try to go on,
And stay my time to an end.
Dreams in my head,
All turning dark and useless.
Help me find the hand,
That knows where Ive been.
Please,
Chorus
Ahhhhhh ...
Ahhhhhh ...
Carry me through ...
Carry me through ...
Carry me through ...
Carry me, carry me, carry me ...

In My Dark

In my dark
I was lost and confused
feeling as if my heart
had been ripped and abused

In my dark
I discovered the truth

In my dark I couldnt find my way
I wanted to stay
hidden so far away

Deep in the ground
where I could no longer be hurt

In my dark
I was safe
no longer in the world
where words mean nothing
and hearts dont exsist

In my dark
there was only this

In my dark
I wanted to take my last breath
Close my eyes
hold closer to death

But in my dark
there was one voice
who refused
To let me close my eyes
to hide from the truth

That in my dark
tho I had never seen

That in my dark he had always been

holding me.

The weight of your heart

The weight of your heart
~
Tied to my own is your heart
Wherever I go you are near
You lift me, carry me on
Offer me the light in the dark
It is in you I find love
I carry the weight of your heart
~
Your eyes are of an earthly brown
Into which I am seeded to grow
Your lips like the morning dew
In which I drink whole hearted
That I know no thirst of loneliness
You are a world of beauty
I hold breathless in every thought
The weight of your heart
~
If this is my burden
I accept it as such and joyful
For the is no greater honour
Than to hold your hand in mine
To protect your love as my own
I shall not wilt nor turn away
I step forth strong and bold
I carry the weight of your heart
As I do my own

Psalm 69

My heart is troubled beyond compare
I wander lost in deep despair
For the things of life I barely care
And I cry out to you

I stumble on, to where not knowing
The pain and fear and dread still growing
The dark waters all around me flowing
And I cry out to you

And now I cannot see ahead
I drown in tears upon my bed
To you my thoughts are ever led
And I cry out to you

They hate me, all, without a cause
O God you know my sins and flaws
And when I fall they give applause
And I cry out to you

My love for you it has no end
Because of this I have no friend
Yet on this point I shall not bend
And I cry out to you

I've put on sackcloth and ashes
And all my dreams this life it dashes
My every word forever clashes
And I cry out to you

Deliver me from out the mire
Pull me up a little higher
Deliver me through flood and fire
And I cry out to you

I will praise you with a song
And join in with the heavenly throng
To you alone I do belong
I lift my voice in praise

This humble heart is very glad
Despair is gone, no longer sad
My mind restored for it was mad
I lift my voice in praise

Despair Is Darkness

DESPAIR IS DARKNESS

Despair is darkness-
Despair is death inside and death in the world and death in one’s own sad soul-
Despair is no way out -
Despair is the place where one is forever stuck -
Despair is the realization that one has done what one could – and one is not going anywhere else-
Despair is the admission of failure-
Despair is no sign of help anywhere around-
Despair is so much lost-
Despair is one‘s life is over-
Despair is regret-
Despair is the sense that one will never have the time to have another chance -
Despair is ‘it’s finished’-
Despair is no way out-
Despair is going down and more down and more dark and more afraid all the time -
Despair is the scream which hurts and does not stop the hurting -
Despair is the understanding that even Death will not save one -
Despair is that the pain will never end-not even with death.
Despair is no way out again and again and again- without end.
