Whisper Slumbers Blissful
As the weaver of dreams soaks her expression in light
The winds whisper slumbers blissful all throughout the night.
I awoke this morn to a Blue Bird fluttering frantically upon my bedstead.
I awoke this morn to a golden dawn, now its gone to my head.
There are no clouds to obscure the horizon, as I watch,
Absorbed within the tendencies of the voyeur. Flower. Empower.
Shower me in the grace of Unity. I beg of thee,
Set me free from my bondage to this realm.
I feel as lead, un-real, half dead, feeling anxious at the helm.

From Blue to Blue You Choose
There are clouds above your storms...
Afraid to let Sun through.
Also empty wishes,
Have you feeling shades of blue.
On the dew...
At dawn.
There are clouds above your storms,
Only no one but you.
And...
That's the way it seems.
That's the way your dreams are too!
From blue to blue,
You choose!
Open up your windows.
Feel the breeze.
Let your heart breathe free.
There are clouds above your storms...
Afraid to let Sun through.
Also empty wishes,
Have you feeling shades of blue.
On the dew...
At dawn.
Clouds above your storms.
And they are there watching you.
Wanting to drift,
Away.
But you wish them to stay..
From blue to blue,
You choose.
The way your dreams are too!

Witnessing Dawn: The Beekeeper
Clouds erupt to obscure a solemn sky
No longer do I hear the buzz of bees
Today, all things on Earth awoke to die
I watch and wait amidst my ancient trees
What motive has brought this holocaust on?
Technology and time brought us no gain.
Night is soon broken by man’s violent dawn
The tempest brings with it an ashen rain
Trees and hills blossom with a bright glimmer
Creatures all over settle and grow still
The land is immersed in a dead shimmer
A foul flare of smoke rolls over my hill
My heart truly lacks time to freeze with fright
As my eyes are filled with this lethal light

The Summer sunset washes over me
Into a Lily-White brillance i am led
With incredible dancing shadows falling
I make -the Ivy's leaves- my bed;
I lay me down in this Sovereign Nation-
True Aristocrats-they are the night
I sleep myself through- the eboned hours
Slumbering 'til morn's shimmering light;
Oh, to be as free as a bird on the wing
Dressed in the mornings glorious Dawn-
Lifting myself ever gently into the Sapphire Blue
Just a glimpse of fluttering feathers-blink -and i am gone!

Planted A Flower
I planted me a flower
Though my friends say a weed
In my garden from a forgotten seed.
So I planted it deep
And around it I hoed
So someday my flower would grow.
But my flower never came
From the sunshine or the rain
That GOD placed above its head.
And so my friends would just laugh
Every time that they would pass
My garden, my plant and I.
Gardeners were them all
As though they have been called
To bring beauty upon our sight.
And a gardener wasn't I
Just a poet in disguise
And for that reason I sat and cried.
More care to my plant I gave
And more affection to it I showed.
While praying one day my flower would grow.
And my friends would just laugh at me
When they saw me on my knees
And to my flower when they heard me speak.
To ignorance they did blame
Its a weed they would exclaim
Then they would walk away.
For a madman I must be
Trying to create a flower out of a weed
Then I would bow my head to weep.
And every night that I went to bed
I dreamt of a rainbow in my head
Which was my flower I planted with my own hands.
And every morning when I awoke
I ran to my garden, but I was torn
For my flower was still unborn.
And I could hear my friends laugh at me
Hidden behind an old oak tree
And I could see them shake their heads and walk away.
But then came one magic morning
When in my head my dreams were forming
While in my garden, my dream, had awoke.
I awoke, to gasps and jeers
I arose, to shouts and cheers
Then in my garden, I walked in bitterness and fear.
Then I saw a rainbow with a halo
I saw my friends with a child's glow
And then I heard the wind, as she softly spoke to me.
You had faith in a weed,
A weed, had faith in you.
And nature, had faith in you two.

Dream Weaver
Dream weaver
Ive just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light

Spring Awoke To-Day
SPRING awoke to-day!
Somewhere--far away--
Spring awoke to-day
From the depth of dream.
Through the air bestirred
Pulse of winging bird,
Through the air bestirred
Laugh of hidden stream.
On the world's cold lips
Fell warm finger-tips;
On the world's cold lips
Woke the glow and gleam!
Spring awoke to-day!
Somewhere--far away--
Spring awoke to-day
From the depth of dream!

A Birthday Sequel!
Dawn break gently across the glen,
That those, to whom you make a difference, may be born again,
Mists make way, run,
A brand new day tied with all my hopes comes undone,
Trees bow not any lower,
Up you sway with the life of all things fluttering at the core,
Bloom little flower pour from your golden chalice,
Let your perfumes kindle a memory in the one across the seas,
Sing on sweet bird, not of the humdrum,
Bubble with songs of sweet hope and good things to come,
Winds keep your shrieks low, stir not the old woe,
That let the past night’s darkness swallow,
Curl on new leaf, this day you embrace,
Let him add abundance to our grace,
Hills- shield him with my prayers, majestically tower,
In thy shadows lie my dreams waiting to soar,
Buzz a tune bumble bee,
That reminds him of our promises at least once, daily
Clouds gather your skirts, head away,
One who sets my face beaming it's his birthday.
Let the skies shine through
A day of colors unfold its hued light,
Let its loveliness in your perfection stand out doubly bright,
Celestial spheres disclose the truth of the ages,
That in absence, letters mingle souls than kisses.
What if the roads are not trodden by our mutual feet?
In the dumb throng of men and women,
Only your face projects, only you I greet,
Let this dawn light my life and I shall call it fair,
To know of yearning and strange despair,
To stretch our yearning hands to gain,
Love’s tide shall come again.

Song of the Stars
When the radiant morn of creation broke,
And the world in the smile of God awoke,
And the empty realms of darkness and death
Were moved through their depths by his mighty breath,
And orbs of beauty and spheres of flame
From the void abyss by myriads came, -
In the joy of youth as they darted away,
Through the widening wastes of space to play,
Their silver voices in chorus rung,
And this was the song of the bright ones sung.
'Away, away, through the wide, wide sky, -
The fair blue fields that before us lie, -
Each sun with the worlds that round him roll,
Each planet poised on her turning pole;
With her isles of green and her clouds of white,
And her waters that lie like fluid light.
'For the Source of Glory uncovers his face,
And the brightness o'erflows unbounded space;
And we drink, as we go, the luminous tides
In our ruddy air and our blooming sides;
Lo, yonder the living splendors play;
Away, on our joyous path, away!
'Look, look, through our glittering ranks afar,
In the infinite azure, star after star,
How they brighten and bloom as they swiftly pass!
How the verdure runs o'er each rolling mass!
And the path of the gentle winds is seen,
Where the small waves dance, and the young woods lean.
'And see, where brighten day-beams pour,
How the rainbows hang in the sunny shower;
And the morn and eve, with their pomp of hues,
Shift o'er the bright planets and shed their dues;
And 'twixt them both, o'er the teeming ground,
With her shadowy cone the night goes round!
'Away, away! in our blossoming bowers,
In the soft air wrapping these spheres of ours,
In the seas and fountains that shine with morn,
See, love is brooding, and life is born,
And breathing myriads are breaking from night,
To rejoice like us, in motion and light.
'Glide on in your beauty, ye youthful spheres,
To weave the dance that measures the years;
Glide on, in the glory of gladness sent,
To the farthest wall of the firmament, -
The boundless visible smile of Him,
To the veil of whose brow your lamps are dim.'

Christmas Morning
The angel host that sped last night,
Bearing the wondrous news afar,
Came in their ever-glorious flight
Unto a slumbering little star.
'Awake and sing, O star!' they cried.
'Awake and glorify the morn!
Herald the tidings far and wide--
He that shall lead His flock is born!'
The little star awoke and sung
As only stars in rapture may,
And presently where church bells hung
The joyous tidings found their way.
'Awake, O bells! 't is Christmas morn--
Awake and let thy music tell
To all mankind that now is born
What Shepherd loves His lambkins well!'
Then rang the bells as fled the night
O'er dreaming land and drowsing deep,
And coming with the morning light,
They called, my child, to you asleep.
Sweetly and tenderly they spoke,
And lingering round your little bed,
Their music pleaded till you woke,
And this is what their music said:
'Awake and sing! 'tis Christmas morn,
Whereon all earth salutes her King!
In Bethlehem is the Shepherd born.
Awake, O little lamb, and sing!'
So, dear my child, kneel at my feet,
And with those voices from above
Share thou this holy time with me,
The universal hymn of love.

Walking In The Light
The sun woke me up real early, its a beautiful morn.
cause Im going down to the river to be reborn.
Now me and jesus did some heavy talking last night,
So Im going down to be dipped and come up walking in the light.
(la la la la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la.)
So Im going down to the river real early this morn.
Jesus said through him we can be reborn.
Oh the joy thats come inside me
Laughter fills my night and fills my day,
With the song of love to guide me,
And the happy words you send my way.
Life with you has made me feel the miracle of making melody;
Just a simple wonder when youre walking in the light.
(la la la la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la.)

The Raven's Shadow
Seabird, elemental sprite,
Moulded of the sun and spray-
Raven, dreary flake of night
Drifting in the eye of day-
What in common have ye two,
Meeting 'twixt the blue and blue?
Thou to eastward carriest
The keen savour of the foam,-
Thou dost bear unto the west
Fragrance from thy woody home,
Where perchance a house is thine
Odorous of the oozy pine.
Eastward thee thy proper cares,
Things of mighty moment, call;
Thee to westward thine affairs
Summon, weighty matters all:
I, where land and sea contest,
Watch you eastward, watch you west,
Till, in snares of fancy caught,
Mystically changed ye seem,
And the bird becomes a thought,
And the thought becomes a dream,
And the dream, outspread on high,
Lords it o'er the abject sky.
Surely I have known before
Phantoms of the shapes ye be-
Haunters of another shore
'Leaguered by another sea.
There my wanderings night and morn
Reconcile me to the bourn.
There the bird of happy wings
Wafts the ocean-news I crave;
Rumours of an isle he brings
Gemlike on the golden wave:
But the baleful beak and plume
Scatter immelodious gloom.
Though the flow'rs be faultless made,
Perfectly to live and die-
Though the bright clouds bloom and fade
Flow'rlike 'midst a meadowy sky-
Where this raven roams forlorn
Veins of midnight flaw the morn.
He not less will croak and croak
As he ever caws and caws,
Till the starry dance he broke,
Till the sphery pæan pause,
And the universal chime
Falter out of tune and time.
Coils the labyrinthine sea
Duteous to the lunar will,
But some discord stealthily
Vexes the world-ditty still,
And the bird that caws and caws
Clasps creation with his claws.

She Only Exist In Dreams
She only exist in a dream
She only existed in a dream an old man dreamt, in his lonely cottage,
when sitting by the fireside patting his dog’s head. Knock on his door,
there she stood looking a dream and since he knew her he invited her
in. His dog happy too it had a bald pat top of its head, and the wood
in the hearth roared its approval. The elderly man was content too
only the real thing spoke a lot, burped, ate and used too much water
when having a shower and the real sex wasn’t that great either.
When the aged man awoke his chimney corner was cold and full of
ashes, but he was glad it had been a bad dream – perhaps too much
red win had cut down on the booze a bit- He sighed let out the dog,
went into the kitchen and made a cup of coffee, feeling quite relived
that his wishes had not come true.

I Am Like One That For Long Days Had Sate
I AM like one that for long days had sate,
With seaward eyes set keen against the gale,
On some lone foreland, watching sail by sail,
The portbound ships for one ship that was late;
And sail by sail, his heart burned up with joy,
And cruelly was quenched, until at last
One ship, the looked-for pennant at its mast,
Bore gaily, and dropt safely past the buoy;
And lo! the loved one was not there - was dead.
Then would he watch no more; no more the sea
With myriad vessels, sail by sail, perplex
His eyes and mock his longing. Weary head,
Take now thy rest; eyes, close; for no more me
Shall hopes untried elate, or ruined vex.
For thus on love I waited; thus for love
Strained all my senses eagerly and long;
Thus for her coming ever trimmed my song;
Till in the far skies coloured as a dove,
A bird gold-coloured flickered far and fled
Over the pathless waterwaste for me;
And with spread hands I watched the bright bird flee
And waited, till before me she dropped dead.
O golden bird in these dove-coloured skies
How long I sought, how long with wearied eyes
I sought, O bird, the promise of thy flight!
And now the morn has dawned, the morn has died,
The day has come and gone; and once more night
About my lone life settles, wild and wide.

In Memoriam A. H. H.: 39. Old warder of these buried bones
Old warder of these buried bones,
And answering now my random stroke
With fruitful cloud and living smoke,
Dark yew, that graspest at the stones
And dippest toward the dreamless head,
To thee too comes the golden hour
When flower is feeling after flower;
But Sorrow--fixt upon the dead,
And darkening the dark graves of men,--
What whisper'd from her lying lips?
Thy gloom is kindled at the tips,
And passes into gloom again.

Stretched
Your brine desire soaks the night
Golden flesh now supple and drying
You have brought the living rain
Verdant dreams where children laugh
Connected in blue bird glory
Robins prance in morning delight
Oatmeal and fruit
Coffee with real cream
Shower the notes of a sweet saxophone
Get use to a jazzy blues darling
Can we be a family?
You divorced so recently
The children are beautiful
I am old but resilient
Your thighs make me loose weight
You are a lioness in bed
She makes me paint her toenails red
Today she takes the children to a park
Love is a sparkle in the sun
Tonight we have a barbecue
The kids are starting to like me
I pray for her and them
I am being stretched
Really stretched

The Robin
Thou need'st not flutter from thy half-built nest,
Whene'er thou hear'st man's hurrying feet go by,
Fearing his eye for harm may on thee rest,
Or he thy young unfinished cottage spy;
All will not heed thee on that swinging bough,
Nor care that round thy shelter spring the leaves,
Nor watch thee on the pool's wet margin now
For clay to plaster straws thy cunning weaves;
All will not hear thy sweet out-pouring joy,
That with morn's stillness blends the voice of song,
For over-anxious cares their souls employ,
That else upon thy music borne along
And the light wings of heart-ascending prayer
Had learned that Heaven is pleased thy simple joys to share.

A Big Bright Dream
There is a glimpse of morn on the sky
Where dark clouds are floating high
So look to it and hope to see
A big bright dawn appearing for thee
For life is a mixture of joy and sorrow
Where appears dull and bright morrow
So don't sit back and think dear
That joy and pleasure are commodity rare
For everyone is given his share
Of both smile's joy or pain's tear
So don't feel bad and hope to see
A big bright dawn appearing for thee.

Like A Bird
Chorus:
I would do anything if I could fly
Escape into the sky
Im feeling like a bird
I would do anything if I could see
The world in harmony
Im feeling like a bird
Chorus b:
Im feeling like a bird
I spread my wings and fly away
Im feeling like a bird
I close my eyes my dreams come true for one day
Vers 1:
In these days,
Dont know whats right or wrong
The world has gone to far
I found a little something to hold on
And then I see a rainbow shining through the clouds
See the birds are flying, they are free no doubt
And imagine its me, imagine its me
I wish I would have wings
Vers 2:
Tell me why, this circle never ends
When will we ever learn
All the cultures in this world come to one sense
But then I see the children playing in the street
Will they have a future, and enough to eat
And I close my eyes, I close my eyes
I hope my dreams comes true
Mid-part:
Free, free like a bird
What is this world without love
Free, free like a bird
From high above

I Roamed With Anger Out Of The House
I roamed with anger out of the house.
My bosom filled with rage
My eyes with pride
My head with stubbornness.
And then
I saw the dawn arise – for it was dawn
At the beginning – and the sea was fresh
Still and naked from the nocturnal cloth
That covered it – now it lay
Listless as in a bed half-wake, half-sleeping:
I saw the rays - the rays of light increase
And turn to more yellow, more golden-fringed
And from the tree – the tree that looks
Down from the bastions – a small bird chirped
A startling song – perhaps a lay of love
Perhaps a dirge – perhaps an elegy.
I walked along the road that overlooks
The city bastions – long and old
And ancient the bastions with a kindly eye
Looked on the shore below and the over-lapping waves
I drank the wine of morn and of the dawn
Refreshing my throat from the old bastions
And looked upon the first sail-boats
Issuing from the rooms beneath the bastions
Dragged to the shore -
And then
And then
I threw the garb of my anger away -
And in my eye
There shone the happiness of the rising day
And forgiving forgetfulness.

Heaven Or Hell
Once
I awoke
The shadow of your smile had crossed my mind
How could I know this was your last goodbye
Thats slipping through the windmills of the night
You never understand when shes talking to you, little boy
You never understand when shes talking to you
Shes too far away
Is it heaven or hell
Were drifting in the wake of our dreams
And the world is a clown who cries
And no one can tell is it real
Once
I cried
Whenever I awoke without you
A stranger in the thunder of the dark
Im praying to the sun to shine tonite
You never understand when shes talking to you, mon amour
You never understand when shes talking to you
Shes too far away...
