What gifts shall this the new day bring?
What words that I shall sing?
Let us throw ourselves once more
Into the moment of creation,
Amidst the heat of destruction
The phoenix shall rise again,
Into new life,
Blessed with new name.
Brought forth from ash
All burning flame,
Bent and broken
Our dimensions letters sent,
Written in the tongues of elder trees
Slow groans of primeval secrets, please.
All from the soup that spurted legs,
All from the gas that grew as eyes,
From star forge into material purge,
Our nature’s favourite game.
Alchemy in motion, poetry the ocean
And life the volcano's roar,
In death new life does pour
And dark skies bring new light.

A Moth Life
What is this moth life?
To sleep all day
to hide from the light
the heat the warmth of the sun...
To awake with night
the night sounds night senses
to see by light of moon tread stellar stars...
To fly with dark air
still air night breezes winds
like dark matter currents of the universe...
To fly with celestial navigation
upon moon beams, or flickering stars these pulsing points,
guide your path, as you dance with radio waves, unseen in human unaided perception...
God created you in dull form
to mask your presence in daylight hiding,
do you see ultra violet, by night shapes humans are unaware of?
Do your eyes senses
detect dimensions of life humanity,
has never beheld, do stars whisper night secrets to you?
What secrets of nature
did God gift bestow upon you,
ultra sound radar, like bats to see with exceptional perception?
Do you perceive human civilization
do you care in your existence realities soaring,
naked bulbs glow like suns, draw you in like moth, to flame embracing?
So you burn fall in a moment
singed falling like meteor demons cast down,
out of heaven, but your innocent dust soul is freed by light?
Sometimes I too align to stars
twinkle atmospheric messages kindle my soul,
glimpse the unseen, contemplate alien consciousness, abundant unseen!

Living my life to the accompaniment of
a song in my heart, I mostly remember
the refrain, hubby and the kids live in
perpetual discontent as I keep singing
the refrain playing in my head
Looking up lyrics on the Internet to learn
the words, maybe then I will be allowed
to sing my songs at home, my favourite

Turning like a broken gramophone in my

I Always Have Loved Mother Nature
I always have loved Mother Nature ever since I was a boy
And a thing of Natural beauty is always a thing of joy
And the mysteries of Nature is a mysterious thing
There is far more to any bird than the song it does sing
I always have loved Nature though my wonderment of her grow
And the more I learn about her the less about her I know I know
From humankind Mother Nature her secrets she hides away
And from our walks in Nature we learn every day
The only true immortal of which we will ever know
Us people like her Seasons to life we come and from life we go

A river was frozen in my chest, O god –
I choose a burning boat to reach you.
My planet has become a broken bridge.
Voiceless hymns are haunting me.
Standing in a remote village of words,
my poetry beside me.
I want to cross the thick woods.
The hairy legs of tarantula –
I am ready to meet them on my body.
A skylark ejects a lyric at my terrace,
I become a flame.
