We Tread Where Demons Lay Their Dead
Watch the river pass on by
Listen as the children cry
The dream has crumbled
Tumbling down the dream has crumbled
Faint echo’s of the memory gather in the groves of my mindscape
The time has come for the solar god to rise.
Apollo, phoenix from the ashes.
I have cast in my folly all that lay sacred to me.
The Dragon’s art enriddled, the art of art revealed.
The secret lay lost to the memory of forgetting.
Our journey has changed course
The winds! The winds have turned against our favour.
Overwhelmed by an addiction breeding,
Defenceless upon my knees
I refuse to serve you now
I would rather lay low in shallow grave.
The journey
The journey engulfing.
Open fields the senses yield
Alive and well I am she cried.
She laid down to kiss the sky
I will never die she sighed
As a tear dropped from her eye.
I have laid to waste the fantasy of evolving.
New friends and open smiles
Close me in your while.
Rise now to know
The kiss of bliss is morning snow.
His mistress distressed – undressed for her pay
Pass on by to sanctuary
I will find you there.
We set sail tomorrow for ports unknown.
The sea queen – slow dreamer
Movement of the earth
The city swells beneath our feet

Movement of the earth
The city swells beneath our feet
The trees are stacked in cathedral contortions
I face the sun in setting.
The talisman evolves itself
Blossoms in the wildest shade
Never to fade but only to grow
Destroyed, its work is once more with all
By Adam Eve before the fall.
I’m gaining more within a realm of pain
Than I ever could by forgetting your name.
The prophecy fulfils itself
The blueprint divine is etched
The surface is scratched and what do you find?
Your mind.
Our mother princess patchwork
I remember now the way we would sing
And beat matchsticks on the ground
Lost and found I am they say.
Lost a child of the night in the day.
The words are a power unto themselves
The words are worlds recurring.
Senses souring
Blood sweat pouring
There’s no time for vanity in this insane hour
The clock has lost its face
And I feel out of place in a world of screwed perceptions
I see now the hills are giants slumbering
And here I am, numb within madness
Still….There’s no time for sadness.
Father of lies
Born from the seed of deceit
Awaiting the friend I love the most
The ghost of hosts I love the most
An architect of grand design
A vagabond of dreams divine
Two lovers, frozen in time
Slow burning is the candle lit
Find me a new skin.
This life a doorway
This life a portal to a million worlds
And laid beside my guardian curled
I am as one within without myself.
She is coming to heal
She who steals my heart in fleeting
Why is it I can not forever listen with open ears?
I have laid myself defenceless to the shore
I have left myself wanting more?
Asking of myself, what is it I’m here for?
Where the hell is the door?
The river run dry
There are no tears to cry
I wonder why
As I lay down to die.
The journey will never near completion
One colour will merely merge into the next
First sight – a white room warming
New life – the smell of morning
Fresh and rosy fingered dawn
Comes with blackbirds swarming
The dance can not complete itself.
Dream with me of brighter skies
Of answers to the question why
Why it is we live to die
To try, yet always fail.
Sail with me the ocean eyes of my goddess undressed.
Learn to live within yourself
Learn to love the world around you
Even when its raining sh*t
And all that sh*t surrounds you
Outside a sky of blue is fading in and out of grey
Inside a crimson sky is dawning all throughout the day.
The senses numbed as defences succumb
To dread fear of revolution
Beneath the sun we’ll have our fun
Turning cycles in evolution.
Creation destroys the age old toys
Of wood nymphs, their forest homes
Relations coy fulfil no joy
When I’m chewing on the bone.
Alone! Alone and never grown
In seeking love so far from home.
And here I remain
A King without a throne

Wooden Ships
Am I forever meant to be
Torn apart by misery
When all around is ecstasy
And my soul, my soul is free.
Fresh from the garden forgotten
Fresh life from a carcass rotten
As maggots feed upon death's shroud
Life begins a new.
I shall follow the eyes of the angel who finds me
For I am lost upon my journey
Wooden ships drift upon the waves of memories retreat
Leaving me here beating my feet and laughing in the faces of those I meet
Who claim that they could never understand
How I live in the shadow of the man I am.
Are we not dressed in the dream of creation
A dream realized by the will to live.
It saddens me at times that I will never know the kiss of desert snow as a memory of my own
Yet it gladdens at times that lost within my mind the secret hard to find is there for all to know.
Dance - chance upon the midnight hour
I turn to dance - Lord Dionysus rise - be in the phoenix in my eyes.

Mystical kiss
I feel it all within your kiss
the love, the passion the imotional mist
kiss me like you have never kissed before
kiss me like you will never stop wanting more
Kiss me let me taste every tooth and tear
kiss me let me imbibe every pain and fear
I will never forget even if I tried
I will never get over it even if I cried
I will love you to death
I will spare my last breath
I will do it all for you
Kiss me now before you regret it tomorrow
Kiss me, let hapiness spread instead of sorrow
Kiss me, I will not close my eyes
I know it feels like a dream in paradise
I will never forget even if I tried
I will never get over it even if I cried
I will love you to death
I will spare my last breath
I will do it all for you
kiss me and enjoy every second we spend
kiss me before this dream comes to an end
kiss me don’t hesitate or think of consequence
kiss me it will be over soon a memory nothing else
Kiss me and magically drive me insane
kiss me before we wake up once again

Blue Jade Heaven
now the arrow pointed to the northern star, as the sun
watch along with the clouds in the sky, comes the
eyes of the moon, waiting the beginning of the glows
of rays, splendidly ride in the Dragon of every
sprouted blooms of the Cherry trees
be the way of lovely Daffodils, floats in the early moist
of cool fog, as it lingers your day with the wisdom of
the beautiful Lilies in the wild and capture the freezing,
silent of the night, oh! the humid of the breeze gallops
my dearest heart to wake up in the middle of my
sweeten sleep
why should i close my eyes when i feel the trembling
lips of waiting; open it again for you to come again in
my motionless feeling of love, take my tongue and be
the moment of wish of my mortal kiss
forward those looks and take the precious jewels of
journey of today, the golden fog, crystallized each drops
of dew, like color of your dream in the harmony of time
with me, decent those tears and traverse the rail on the
path of success with you, the high noon never dropp to
low
ring the Bell now and watch the river flow as the birds
bring the smooth perfume of dream in your midst of the
day, the light have come to witness that throne; and vow
to serve you forever dear, in the no where to find, yet!
only in my arm, i love you
it is not a blind goodbye that my heart depart, for
yesterday is forever lost, a history to pass bye and
tomorrow is just a mystery to believe in and today is the
gift of loving you forever; my dear blue jade of heaven,
my darling forever I will wait for you
you're the presence of mine..........

Touched Her Face
I pray beneath streetlights
To find the light within myself;
I kiss holy books and letters she wrote
In the belief that life is sacred mystery.
Every day is an unknown journey;
Maybe our life will remain routine,
Maybe we will veer off into a nightmare or dream.
Perhaps, I’m shallow:
I only want to listen to music
And to smell the fragrance of her hair,
To exist in a place of flowers.
Anymore, I’m always on the verge tears
For no definable reason
And I can no longer discern
If I’m happy or sad.
If I disappear tomorrow,
It will be as if I never breathed
In this fragile place,
But a part of me believes
I’ve reached her heart
And touched her face.

Only in the Dream
Only in the Dream
By: Adam M. Snow
Deep in the forest where I lay,
In my Night's now my Day;
The reapers calling pass my ever dreams.
I dream though I am awake,
Dreaming for my siren sake.
But what of a dream:
A trifle-in our own esteem-
A journey in our visions pass,
A trial in its unobtrusive mass.
I lie here in my infinite wonder,
Lost in tranquility asunder.
Woe, woe unto me a new misgiving;
A dream now worth living.

My Journey to the unknown
A journey takes a few students to a small dorp called Clanwilliam.
From campus we assemble in the dead of the night
We catch the first rays of sun
Streaming in the car
We gather in the parking lot outside UWC
In the dead of the night
Mist gathers with icy wind piercing through me
As our journey takes us away from the Cape’s sea
I observe the nature that springs up from the earth.
Beautiful daffodils, roses, lilies and dandelions
Flay out with magnificent might
Songs pop up “ Uptown girl”, “ Queen of My heart”, “ I have a Dream”.
Along the river we see some ducks and swans that are rare in winter
Riaan takes out his camera and starts filming some footage
While Neely and Merrington discuss to us what to look out for.
The blue skies echo from above
The rough ground growls and babbles under the heavy weight of the tyres
We came home after a long journey to the unknown
A journey full of mystique and beauty that leaves me eerie at the end of the day

Within The Mist Is Fire
Inspired by your inspiration
An inspiration I inspire
Through the ashes,
RISES...
A red phoenix, on fire
A mothers nature, Is to nurture
A poets words, will paint a picture
The path of my people
Diverged while unfostered
Left to the winds to recapture
The ways of my people
I preserve with great care
Like the phoenix
I rise from the ashes
The flame in my heart
The four winds in my hair
Like the phoenix
We will rise from the ashes

Modern Love LXXI (Kama Sutra-Sat Nam)
Kama Sutra, simple kiss
straight kiss, first kiss
bent kiss, movie kiss
stolen kiss, spicy kiss
forehead kiss, eye kiss
cheek kiss, throat kiss
bosom kiss, breast kiss
lip kiss, mouth kiss
Hear the click clack
Kiss of intention
Kiss that kindles love
Kiss that awakens
Kiss that turns away
Kiss back of knees
Kiss insteps
Kiss ear lobes
Sat Nam
Embrace forehead
embrace eyes,
embrace face
embrace breasts
smoldering slow dance
embrace twining of a creeper
embrace climbing a tree
embrace thighs
piercing embrace
embrace of the jaghana
Mixture of sesamum seed
with rice
feel those dark clouds disappear
Sat Nam
Touch, encircle, entwine
Milk and water embrace
Auparishataka
Nominal Congress
Inside and outside pressing
Sucking a mango fruit
Swallowing it up
all the dream is you
sat nam
Tickle the peacock feather
Draw out trunk of elephant
Worship at the gate
Congress of the crow
Widely opened position
Hear the ring of far off gongs
Yawning position
Hear music playing
Splitting of the bamboo
Fast, slow echo endlessly
Rising position
Tales of new creation
Half-pressed position
How can we keep from singing?
Position of wife of Indra
No storm can shake my love
Clasping position
Since love is lord
Twining position
heaven and earth
Kama Sutra
One night, one morning, one day,
one moment our dreams could be,
Tomorrow….
one pause, one breath, one love,
east or west, north or south
over earth or ocean.
One way to be our journey,
the way to be rock and roll.
No thought, no feeling, no emotion,
can hold us back.
One kiss, one embrace, one falling,
We’ll find our way may be, rock and roll.
rock and roll.
One way, one sight, one intention,
one contemplation, one meditiation
with a dream to believe in.
One kiss, one embrace, one falling,
find our love across a wide ocean.
The way became our journey,
this way ends together, may be, rock and roll.
The way ends together, may be, rock and roll.
As we were in the beginning
we are now
and shall ever be.
Rock and roll.

Embrace the Nature of your Heart.
Embrace the nature of your heart.
Know there is no caress with which
We can easily part, as deep within
The soul seeks to know another as
A companion upon their journey.
We rise each day more so confused
That the day before. The night hath
Bred insanity within the sanctuary
Of a doped up soul, stoned alone.
I find myself dissolving within the
Fantasy of mindscape escapism.
I find myself revising consideration
Upon the subject of hesitation
Without a thought for consequence.

Upon Our Journey
Upon our Journey many fruitful trees we shall pass.
How are we ever know our favourite to taste
If we are forever wasting the present indulging
In a taste we have already relegated to a memory inducing nostalgia?
Only when striding onwards will we ever know for sure
That no cure for our hearts ailments lay upon the fruit tree
Beyond the horizon – We can always journey backwards
If we are convinced the fruits we left will never be tasted
With such sweet Joy again – But know that it will forever
Toy upon your mind if you do not seek to find a fruit unknown
To your heart. So hard it is to start again and allow the ghost
Of a memories fading to pass without a sigh – So hard it is to
Part with the skies that have kept us sane for so long now it should
Pain us to consider a lifetime without the fruit we have come to know
Yet we must continue upon our journey – Evermore we must flow.

Dream On
(bayer sager / golde / mayoff)
I surround myself with superficial things
Somethin to toy with
They dont mean a thing
I got my share of secrets
A long time overdue
I got a world inside me
Id better keep on running to
I dream on
I dream on
A fantasy to guide me
And hope to see me through
I dream on
I dream on
Do you wanna be a dreamer?
Be a dreamer
If you wanna be a dreamer
Be a dreamer
Come on, baby, be a dreamer, be a dreamer, oh, oh
Now, my friends all say Im crazy
And Im blowing every chance
til until I hear your sweet, sweet music
Nothins gonna make me dance
cause Im a dreamer and my eyes give me away
Oh, theyre always sayin
All the things Id never say
I dream on
I dream on
A fantasy to guide me
And hope to see me through
I dream on
I dream on
Do you wanna be a dreamer?
Be a dreamer
If you wanna be a dreamer
(be a dreamer)
Come on, baby, be a dreamer, be a dreamer, oh
Do you wanna be a dreamer?
(be a dreamer)
If you wanna be a dreamer
(be a dreamer)
Come on, baby, be a dreamer, (be a dreamer), oh, oh
I believe in magic
And in wishes coming true
Somethin tells me, baby
That you believe it, too
I dream on
I dream on
A fantasy to guide me
And hope to see me through
I dream on
I dream on
Do you wanna be a dreamer?
(be a dreamer)
If you wanna be a dreamer
(be a dreamer)
Come on, baby, be a dreamer
(be a dreamer)
Ooh, hoo
If you wanna be a dreamer
Be a dreamer
Be a dreamer
Oh, yeah
Do you wanna?
Do you wanna be a dreamer?
Ah, ha, be a dreamer
Yeah, be a dreamer, oh, ho
Do you wanna be a dreamer?

Infinite Journey
The sky was covered with swans and birds
moving towards there endless infinite journey
there image reflecting with new waves
my small boat was moving with the winds
some new lights falls on me
makes me fly higher and higher beyond space
towards the infintie journey of eternal love
where i will listen the chanting of birds
which are flying with my floating boat
towards the endless journey
where the sun always tries to meet the earth
on the edges of oceans far far away
where the waves tries to kiss the clouds.

The Journey (feat. Lateef)
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
an' have me wonderin' all my days
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
an' have me wonderin' all my days.
I can't stay home, I gotta keep movin,
I gotta keep doin', I gotta get out,
I gotta roam, it's somethin' that moves me,
It's somethin' that uses me without a doubt,
'cause somewhere abstract coincidence happens,
see someone in passin' while out and about,
next thing I know I'm happily travelin',
puttin' in action ideas that I mouth,
cause I speak it and do it, talk it and walk it,
I'm so bad about it, I shout it out loud,
but try to stay open, the forces in motion,
They keep me on course, it's just clear that i've found (?),
Imprissoned in flesh and reality's blesses,
that made manifest every woman and child,
I'll keep on expressin' reality's lessons,
explorin' my prison until I'm let out.
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
an' have me wonderin' all my days
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
have me wonderin' all my days.
Travelin' East and West, on every known highway,
South to North carryin' that torch until I'm old and grey.
Well in the mean time inbetween I'm pushin' through this,
I said in the main time inbetween I'm on my duty.
Sometimes I get beat up, sometimes I'm the beater,
Sometimes man my feet hurt from walkin' so long,
Sometimes I'm defeated, sometimes I get cheated,
Sometimes I just need it, 'cause sometimes I'm wrong,
So the question's repeated, why even try?
When there's rocks in the road, pot-holes in the lawn,
The victory's sweeter when obstacles either,
Are side-stepped or crushed on the way to the door,
So I go on my own, have faith in the road,
I can share that control cause I'm never alone.
I hear the creator speak to me through wispers,
On winds the voices of friends and of foes,
I listen to omens, the things that he shows me,
Shows that he knows me and helps me along,
And follow him closely, where he goes mostly,
Guidin' my path on this map 'till I'm gone
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
an' have me wonderin' all my days
That journey-a call me quick,
That journey-a call my name,
That journey-a call have it's way,
an' have me wonderin' all my days.
And when they lay me down,
To rest in my Earthly grave,
And when they lay me down,
Navigate that big sky wave.
But in the meantime I, I got my duty,
In the meantime inbetween time I, I got to do this,
In the meantime inbetween time I, I'm pushin through this,
In the meantime inbetween time I, I got my duty.
I got my.. I got my, I got my duty. I got my duty I know!

Living in Hiroshima
A morning in Hiroshima
In August of the year
I walk towards a tower
with battered walls and naked steel.
The dome is open to the sky
The walls have crumbled down
All else around had been laid waste
This was the zero ground.
In that river there were bodies
burned beyond recall.
Thousands dead around here
And scarce a standing wall
An involuntary Shiva
A chill creeps down my spine
One bomb destroyed this city
A monster born of mind..
We gather to remember-
The mayor says some words
Silence, a bell ringing,
sounds a warning to this world.
If the destroyer comes again
With his thousand suns
We'll die in our Hiroshimas
with Victory for none.

Journey to Be
I think I'll journey out some day to wondrous lands afar,
Or even chart a journey to a distant blazing star.
But rest assured that when my journey begs to take its cue,
Always know that when I go, this journey takes you too.
We'll start our journey out from here by horse and cart of old,
The seaside docks - and journey pauses - where we shall behold
A noble schooner for the journey primed to launch as planned:
To sail with dolphins cross the seas then journey back on land.
And so our journey goes by foot to conquer mountains tall:
A chapter hence the journey reached, with scenes that should enthral.
But when we tire, let's rest our journey, stretched in fields of flowers,
And bathe atop the mountain from the journey - autumn showers!
Refreshed, our journey takes a turn - we'll venture back for home,
But first we'll let the journey take a tangent just to roam.
And in the winding route, this journey's bound to bide content,
But most of all take heed - let's make our journey life's event.

The Night Is A Wild Beast Foaming
The night is a wild beast foaming at the teeth
The crescent moon a Cheshire cats smile
Keeping lunar illumination upon the clouds that pass on by.
The stars are pin prick holes in a shroud of death
Promising life upon the other side of the new day dawning.
As rising – re born from the ashes of the past
The solar phoenix is bursting forth upon the skylines of another realm
Here it is darkness – void – the abyss.
Here I find myself tangled within a web of delusional love
Missing the dream of kissing you
At the mercy of brutal and ruthless killers below
Those that cling to the memory of the shadow.
The river has burst its banks
The city is dying
Disease is eating away at the flesh of those breathing stagnant air.
Mothers are seeking there children in pits of tar
Fathers are slaying there Fathers in a motion to rise
Where are the children?
Those bright eyed starry gazed children, half crazed and rotting in the lair of the piper.
Maggots are nesting in the eyes of those still crying
As Mothers sigh, holding tightly in their arms the grey shades of still born babes.
What God will save them now?
What spirit of the forest night will rise to save those
That in their consumption of nature oppose the life of beauty incarnate.
What does a mirror look like?
If that clocks wrong, what’s right?

Nightmare
did I have the dream?
or did the dream have me?
set off on a night-sea journey
without memory or desire
drifting throught lost latitudes
with no compasee and no chart
flying through halluncination
distant voices, signal fires
lighting up my inconsious
and the secret place of heart
Dream - temporary madness
dream - a voice in the wilderness
dream - unconscious revelations
the morning says, the answer is yes
floating through a darkened mirror
deep reflection in disguise
soaring through lost altitudes
without wonder, without fear
symbols on a feild of vision
behind the curtain of sleeping eyes
on the instant of waking
another world of dreams appears
dream - walk in the wilderness
dream - unconscious recreation
the morning says, the answer is yes

Alas I know not where to go - Letters from Amsterdam
Alas I know not where to go
Within this realm of shanty town insanities
Canals of ink weave between the fallen leaves
As footsteps upon the pavement beat out of time
With the miming of addict merchants rustling
Within the bustle of a thriving city life.
Blue skies over Amsterdam delude the mind
Of the love soaked mariner
The waves carved a line of froth that existed
Beyond the skylines fading
We boarded upon our Journey
Unknowing as to what we were to accomplish
No ground has been gained through disillusion
Yet these days I lay less confused
Upon the subject of my mindscape
Voices from the streets below echo
Throughout the stairwells of this hostel
This sanctuary of ours within which we
Pass away the time just as we pass away the hours.
Squalid surroundings ground
The child of un-sound reason
Lost within a realm of reflection.
