Tell Me Of Your Dreams Child

Blood pyramid rising
Stood before the Christ child crucified
The solar god is dead and dying still.
Fresh from the kill.
The temples erected in his honor are sour in grandeur,
the mason’s secret concealed
Solomon's temple - Solomon's Key
Where are the prophets of our age?
Left to rot behind locked doors?
Labeled lunatics and forgotten.
Beggers are the merchants of sympathy?
Give them gold for the story told.
Take me now to a world where I can feel myself as real.
How many life’s have we lived within each others arms?
Tell me of heaven?
Tell me of hell?

The clouds are moving spectres of freedom at rest.
Barefooted, adorned in the rags of decadence
The faces of the hillside are grim - relics of an industrial age.
The dales and peaks arise before us
Tell me of your dreams child?
Elated - visions blurring towards fantasy fulfilled
The clouds are heavens forming
There is a break in the dance unheard.

I want to

I want to tell you a story, And you can read about it some more,

About a wise king called Solomon, who had servants do e Rey chore;

One day he heard the Lord God of Israel talk to him and say,

Because you chose to be my child, and my words you do obey,

I have decided to give you a gift and you can decide which to choose,

You can become very rich, so money, or wisdom, which can you use?

Solomon thought long and hard, and decided wisdom was the best,

And so God said because you wasn't greedy you can have the rest.

Solomon soon found out wisdom he did receive, from the Lord,

When 2 women came fighting over one baby boy he had heard;

The mother of the one who died said its mine the child that's alive,

But the other mother whose one who lived no that's mine, she does lie.

They both argued so king Solomon said cut the baby in two,

Let them share half each, In the bible you'll see it's true;

The real mother said no give to her, please don't destroy the boy,

But the other mum just kept saying slice him, she thought it like a toy.

So king Solomon said give the child to the mother over there,

She is the real mother, she was protecting him, cause she doth care;

Only a real mother could show so much love, enough to give away,

Than let her child be destroyed, Wise Solomon knew what to say.

Yes! Solomon received money as well, but becoming rich went to his head,

When he built such beautiful buildings, he forgot God, and said t'was I. Instead;

The Moral of this story, is don't forget to say Thanks to God for everything,

Never think that you did it all, God has made. So Give Praises to God as you sing.

Today... 'The Child Jesus

Led by the Spirit His parents had brought
The Child Jesus into the Temple court
The Temples' to the temple had come
To keep the law and the required custom

The glory of the Lord was there that day
In that building composed of earthly clay
Greater glory than in Solomon's reign
God into His temple had come again

Few expected Him to come in this way
‘Twas not at the request of men that pray
But to fulfil the law and pay the price
A pair of turtle doves as sacrifice

Simeon and Hannah were present there
And in prophecy began to declare
That Child in their arms was the Holy one
Born of God, His only Belovéd Son

As this great moment began to unfold
The world passed by too busy to behold
For this Child Jesus was to change the way
In which man has to come to God today

The veil of the temple was torn in two
It's now possible for man to pass through
That Child in the temple became a man
And died on the cross to fulfil God's plan

The Doors Are Locked

From inside of this room
I shall not exit
I have locked the doors
To the world outside.
It does not matter to me what is happening outside, because
Behind these locked doors
Is the world that I live in,
This land of my dreams that
I have fabricated for myself alone.
I recall my father recently reading me a story-
Of a woman who created a world within her dreams-
There she lived and locked herself
Inside of the doors that
Barred her from all that is real.
My father's hope was that
I would find my way out from
This place he called the land of my delusions.
This place which he calls the land of my delusions has become
My only veracity.
From the inside of this room
I shall not exit-it is here I safely converse with
The voices inside of my mind.
The doors to this room are locked, but
I can still hear my mother weeping, and
I hear my mother cry out from the midst of her tears-
What has become of my only child?
Inside of this room, I have constructed a world.
The doors are locked and
I have shut reality out-
The doors to my room are locked and
I have lost the key.
My mother is still weeping as her one and only
Has lost the key that would open the doors
To the world outside-
My mother is sobbing; the key is lost and alas-
Her only child's sanity has also been lost.

Child In Your Arms

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

I know it's hard to understand
Why I was taken from your hands

One day we'll meet again
Mother and father hand in hand

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Pick a star in the sky
And see the twinkle in my eye
As I send you my love
From heavens above

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

All the new mothers above
Giving their love
To the new born child
In heavens above

Mother father watch over me
And jesus will watch over you

I feel your love in heavens above
I'll see you here
When it's your time to come

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Oh mummy dear
I see you and daddy so near

My life as just begun
In heavens above
So don't be afraid to live your life
Be glad and happy to what comes to you
I'll keep you safe as I watch over you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Child in your arms
Will always love you

Sweet child in heaven
Sleep in peace
I hope you see all you want to see
Be who you want to be

God bless

Purple Sun

I would often imagine the sun was purple and there existed another solar system
In some far off distance in this never ending universe-
If the sun did not shine upon our horizon and the moon was always nearby?
Clouds could be none but smoke emanating from our planet earth,
Having been caught on fire-
Fire from the hell beneath our feet,
Flames rising from this hell we have never seen?
I have been asked "Do you believe in heaven and
Is there a god who radiates goodness and answers all of our prayers?
Then I would ask "What made the sun turn purple? "
I hear a voice saying ‘The sun has never been purple-
Your delusions have cast shadows upon the horizon and
You are lost inside of a trance-
A trance where the world is burning and the moon is fading behind the clouds-"
I would wonder if I could only awaken from this frightening reverie and
I hear a siren loudening as a vehicle approaches me -all I can do is to glance upward-
I hear voices saying "We are coming to take you away-"
I feel metal clasping about my wrists as I look up into the sky-
Rain is falling now but will not quench the flames and I ask "Why? "
I hear a voice respond "Because you have escaped reality-"
Voices are calling me, voices are threatening and which are real and which are not
I cannot distinguish- What is truly burning are the tears falling from my eyes and I find
My spirit escaping to that other solar system in this never ending universe-
In this never ending universe, inside of the world of my fondest dreams,
In this place where the sun is purple and the moon is always nearby,
Rising above golden mountaintops, where there is no hell beneath my feet-
I hear the slamming of metal doors as sirens louden-
But all fear has abandoned me because in a moment I can lose my spirit inside
The world of my fantasies-
My spirit becomes a bird that can fly away to that place where
The sun shall be forever purple- never burning- perhaps my body shall burn in hell, but
My spirit shall dance amongst the clouds, singing songs of joy and freedom,
Because I believe in heaven and perhaps there is a god radiating goodness,
Answering my prayers and pouring rain down to quench those flames from hell-so
Perhaps that is why everybody is laughing, -
I am laughing and that laughter has set me and everybody free,
The moon and the clouds disappear behind the mountaintops and as another day begins,
The purple sun of my dreams appears on the horizon…

Darkness Envelopes Her

This night banshee's herald death upon the moment of twilights touch.
Seeking solace in the arms of wisdom are we to be left beyond reproach?

Darkness envelopes her, swallowing the days descent
The blade she holds, formed of a shamans dream is shimmering
Dark light for a dark knights purpose, she rides to rise and
As she drifts throughout ethereal glades, moving in time with the shadows performing
She is the storm of midnights howling, she is the silhouette against the moon
Shrieking her laments in a monsoon torrent of tears.
Darkness envelopes her, smothering the memories that once kept her sane.
The heat of the night is as Nile desert air and moving upon its currents
Are strange and wondrous creatures, merging the past into the present.
Who are these creatures she asks?
These souls seeking towards a face amongst the faceless.
Tears shed in a moment of remorse are swelling,
What story are they telling?

Distant starlight burns away the memories of reflection upon looking glass eyes
How strange it is that the hours they pass only to be forgotten.
Come laugh with me sometime, come be fresh amongst the rotten.
Adorned in the feathers of elder gods we may amount the pyramid rising from blood soaked sand.

Dreams forgotten within the twilight of memory
They await the motion of the moment to sway them.
The city shall take no pity on them
As they writhe, lithe and breathing agony.
What horrors await unknown?

She sleeps within the shadow of herself.
She is an Idol in death, a decomposing Christ child in the summer heat.
Maggots are breeding in her body dying, feeding upon the source of life.

Bound within an asylum built upon foundation insecurities
How am I to gain confidence in the smile that shines a diamond mile.

An Indian Summer is rising
Small worlds are colliding
In the arms of the one they love
Souls are entwining as the threads of destiny untold.

Today... 'Greater than Solomon

Solomon with Christ the Lord could never compare
For none like my Lord Jesus can be found anywhere
Solomon's great wisdom and glory was renowned
But in Christ God's Wisdom and Glory can be found

The treasures of Solomon just faded away
But the vast riches of Jesus will always stay
Though wise and rich king Solomon turned out to be
Jesus Christ is so much more powerful than he.

Jesus my Lord and God is far beyond compare
And His glory with another He will not share
That is why the people on earth heard Him declare
That One greater than Solomon was standing there

Today... 'The Consolation of Israel

It was a busy world at Your nativity
People were too busy to even stop and see
As into the temple Your family had come
In obedience to the law and Jewish custom

The glory of the Lord was present there that day
In that building composed of earthly stone and clay
The same glory that appeared in Solomon's reign
Was present as God entered His temple again

Simeon and Anna were also present there
And in prophecy they both began to declare
That Child in their arms was the promised Holy one
Born of God, His One and Only Belovéd Son

In wonder Simeon in his arms held his Lord
And began speaking out loud God's prophetic word
And Anna also join in with him to proclaim
These things happened when to His temple Jesus came

The Holy Spirit entered Simeon that day
Causing him to cry out with prophecy and say
'Behold the Consolation of Israel' he cried
He'd been told he would see Jesus before he died

This Consolation of Israel was to be seen
Just as the prophets of old said it would have been
But just Simeon and Anna saw the real glory
Of this momentous occasion in history

The Devil Arises As Dionysus

There we are as children running
In the fields of our youth
Un-aware that the clouds of cotton candy innocence
That gather above our forms
Are future storms unwinding

What defense have we against the hounds of smug faced intolerance?
What defense against those that would have us burnt for our beliefs?

A crimson devil dressed in white
Dances for the souls delight
Within the moment now and then
The sword is crippled by the pen.

There is music upon the air here
Rhythms new and intoxicating

The Devil arises as Dionysus to lead the dance,
The horned god from the moist night enveloping
Incites madness within the hearts of our kin,
Fueling towards the notion to rise here we are
Starry eyed children lost within another’s dream.

Her mother is burning, the child’s eyes swell
And higher they raise the temples of hells forgetting.
She is watching, keeping caged the pain now raging,
Her skin is aging eons as the seconds pass
And they are laughing, watching as the child
Floods the memory with a waterfalls cascade of fear.
And buried without grace, remembered with no face
She is left to burn, as they turn, the gathered, and the ignorant
Dirt ridden with guilt, surrounding with smiles the pyre they built.

A Circle of girls entwining is moving in and out of time,
The forest night is silent, even the gods watch with intent.
The rhythm is fresh, new and slow alike a springtime morning,
Virgin flesh is writhing in a frenzy of cyclictic motions,
An ocean of orgy devours inhibition, blood stained satin sheets and satyrs
Are parading monstrous phallics towards the doors of the vaginal mansion.
These girls have never known penetration before but here
Within the motions of the dance they know ecstasy as real,
They feel throbbing hearts pounding, breaking down reality.
Laughter, screams, orgasms fuel the madness of the dance.
Blood flows a river of crimson delight as we dance the night eternal.
Spirits are rising, faint shadows of another world are moving upon our plain.
And I am as one with my shadow myself, delving into a world of secret seductions.
Leaving sanity upon a shelf of indifference and rising towards radiance.
Dance with me, leave sanity behind and ride the wind just for a night.

Banshees shriek beside valkeries riding upon a tempest riot
As we dance, chancing upon the moment to rise.
Changing with the skies as we rise unable to fall,
Calling out to the honor of the dance to forgive us
But no hope is there for foolish lovers of the nightmare

There's something lost here
Swallowed by the shadow of fear
There's something left un-shown
Forever lost unknown

I'm sittin' on my window sill and looking
through the pain you broke my heart
Oh mamma no you cannot teach me a different soul
I won't believe in your God of course I see this clouds
above but that's not God, that's not the Lord
and the smoke of my cigarette got into my eyes and now
I'm feel like I'm gonna cry
and all you guys laugh at me but I don't feel like
I am just a child, just a child
and I don't give a damm
yes I don't give a damm
I don't give a damm
and break my apple in two pieces or three
imagine the world is just an apple tree and live your life
and be careful 'cause harvest time is your death don't fall
and I don't give a damm
yes I don't give a damm
I don't give a damm
you're laughin' but you wanna cry your coolness hey,
is just a lie you're venerable too it's the price you
have to pay look in the mirror before you try to fly you have
no wings come on be reasonable guy don't try
and I don't give a damm

Break my apple in two pieces or three

and I don't give a damm
yes I don't give a damm
I don't give a damm
your blood is runnin' through my head then my temples then my

Mary's Song

Before time my life was chosen
for this miracle performed,
that through me would come a baby
who would one day be my Lord.
But right now he's just a baby
and the world is not so sure,
cause while some bow down to worship
there are some who laugh and scorn.
But there's a will
and there's a purpose
that I know He must fulfill
and the reason why you chose me
very soon will be revealed.
But for now can I just hold Him
and keep him in my arms
and for now can I just hold Him
and keep Him safe from
Lord, I'll give Him back to you
Little ordinary Mary
little Baby Jesus boy
He's divine in all your planning
but for me he's pride and joy.
but in Him there is a story
that the prophets have foretold,
there is honor, there is glory
there's redemption for us all.
Can't even think about Him crucified.
Can't even think that He was born to die.
Innocent baby my heart says why?
Cause he's just a little child.

Cry Clouds Cry (Haiti Tribute)

Cry clouds cry
tears from the heaven
showers the land as many die
so cry clouds cry

Bodies piled up in count
as many died
earth trembled beneath feet
as the heavens abide
so cry clouds cry

Children left with no hope
families broken apart
left a void in our heart
as masses quake and buildings
shake as relationships break
so cry clouds cry

Black rain fall from the sky
as to many die
all cause of so much lies
so cry clouds cry

It hurts to know you care
and for that we always hold you near
thousand left this world but we still bear
as the voice of the nation we began to hear
so cry clouds cry

Let your voice be heard
though it was observed
it brought our nation together
and that was well deserved
so cry clouds cry

Don't Cry, Child

Don't cry, child
For children starving far away
For homeless people on the streets
Begging for change.

Don't cry, child
For those of us who have no dreams
Who live in dark holes
That we dig ourselves, laboriously - why?

Don't cry, child
For forgotten rainbows
Or melancholy rainstorms
For wispy clouds, always drifting away.

Don't cry, child
For who you are not
Or who you have been
For who you are.

Don't cry, child
For the last animal of it's kind
The mother who cannot feed her children
A planet in need.

Don't cry, child
When you stand on the edge of forever
And wish you could fly
And see the world at your fingertips.

Don't cry, child
For long-gone yesterdays
Or yearned-for tomorrows

Don't cry, child
For what you have done today
Forgive
Start a new day
Make it better than the last.

Climb

The mountains n'er seemed so tall...
As in this most laborous climb divine---
'Twas as if we were reaching for the pinnacle of Paradise...
Thus, claiming these towering peaks as mine;

Surely Heaven 'tis this blissful...
Where the joy surpasses any sort of pain---
Where sorrow 'tis a long forgotten emotion---
Wrapped in comforters of Loves sweet refrain;

Higher, ever higher we do ascend...
To touch the Peaks of Evermore...
Once just two lonely people in search of happiness---
Now, as one, together walking through Heavens door;

Joy and freedom have adorned us-beloved...
Upon these streets all paved in Gold--
Forever, atop, the world together...
With Eternal life-never ever to grow old;

Crossfire

Julies sick and tired of her job nall the reasons lately
She took it out on God and laid her soul to hell and let the baby die
Julies child was born without a need or a reason for being
She took it as a message from a real and a distant life
Shirley gets to help her with the child though
Shes strung out on crack time
Shirley never knew what it was to be held in real love
Together getting high to get to mess up their night
Anything to get up so theyre losing their mind
Just to get high, breking out from this life, gotta get them a drug to get
Higher
Julie gets to walking out and drags the child, says come on
How well walk in the dark of the morning
Cars screaming round the corner, drugged to heaven,
Guns are loaded,
Locked in vengeance
Who shoots the child?
Watching in the ghetto is the spine and the cruel of the gang life
Sign language of the get go you get in the gang life
Fear the only law, fear is all we hear about,
Feed us in the raw, fear is all we fear about
Listen, get up, quickly get up, get up
Its the answer to punishment given you
Dont give us reasons,
Caught in the crossfire dying
God give us reasons,
Dont give a reason, God give a reason
Why lay dead a childs life?

What Has Come Between Us

Written by mark gaddis
Lead vocals by dennis deyoung
Look at all the people
Looking at their dreams
Smiles upon their faces
Tell me what they see
Look at all the people
Have they gone astray?
Living for tomorrow
With dreams of yesterday
Lovely lady
Tell me what you feel
As a child were you mild
Does it make it so unreal?
Lovely lady
Feel so insecure
When you give all yourself
How can you be sure?
What has come between us
What has made us sad
Childhoods forgotten
Yet its hiding in the past
What has come between us
Theres something in ourselves
Lines upon our faces
Saying no more time for rest
Lovely lady
Tell me what you feel
As a child were you mild
Does it make it so unreal?
Lovely lady
Feel so insecure
When you give all yourself
How can you be sure?
Lovely lady
Tell me what you feel
As a child were you mild
Does it make it so unreal?
Lovely lady
Feel so insecure
When you give all yourself
How can you be sure?
Lovely lady
Feel so insecure
When you give all yourself
How can you be sure?

Tell me what you feel
As a child were you mild

Child, Child

Child, child, love while you can
The voice and the eyes and the soul of a man;
Never fear though it break your heart --
Out of the wound new joy will start;
Only love proudly and gladly and well,
Though love be heaven or love be hell.

Child, child, love while you may,
For life is short as a happy day;
Never fear the thing you feel --
Only by love is life made real;
Love, for the deadly sins are seven,
Only through love will you enter heaven.

Bible in Poetry: Revelation 11

The Two Witnesses:

1Given a reed-like measuring rod,
I’as told to “ Measure God’s temple,
Altar, and count the worshipers,
2 And to exclude the outer court,
That was given to the Gentiles.
They’ll trample the holy city
For forty-two months at a stretch;
3With my power, my two witnesses,
Will prophesy for a thousand,
Two-sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.'
4Two olive trees and the two lamp-stands
Stand before the Lord of the earth.
5If anyone tries to harm them,
Fire will come out of their mouths
And devours their enemies.
This is how those who harm must die.
6These men have pow’r to block the sky,
So that, it won’t rain at that time,
They’re prophesying; and have pow’r
To turn the waters into blood,
And to strike the earth with every plague
As often as they wish to do.
7Now when their testimony is o’er,
The beast from the Abyss will attack,
And overpower and kill them.
8Their bodies will lie in the street
Of cities of Sodom, Egypt,
Where their Lord was crucified.
9For days, three and a half, all men
From every tribe, language and nation,
Will gaze at their bodies, without burying.
10The earth’s inhabitants of the earth will gloat
O’er them and will celebrate the day
By sending one another gifts,
For these two prophets tormented
Those who lived upon the earth.
11But after three and a half days,
A breath of life from God entered
Them, and they stood upon their feet,
And terror struck those who saw them.
12Then they heard a voice from heaven
Saying aloud, 'You come up here.'
They went to heaven in a cloud,
While their enemies just looked on.
13 That very hour, there was a quake,
Collapsing tenth of the city.
Killing seven thousand people
And terrifying survivors
Who glorified God of heaven.
14The second woe had passed away;
The third woe was coming too soon.

The Seventh Trumpet:

15The seventh angel blew trumpet:
Loud voices in heaven, then said:
'The kingdom of the world of men
Is now the kingdom of Christ Lord,
And He will reign forever, ever.'
16 The twenty-four elders seated
On thrones before the God, Most High,
Fell on their faces, worshiped God,

17 Saying:

'We give you thanks God Almighty,
The One who is and always was,
Because you’ve taken your great pow’r
And have begun to reign on earth.
18 Your wrath has come over nations;
The time has come for judging dead,
Rewarding your servants- prophets,
And saints, those revering your name,
Both small and great— all deserving,
And destroying those who destroy earth.'
19 God's temple in heaven opened,
And within his temple was seen
The Ark of His great covenant.
And came there flashes of lightning,
Rumblings, peals of thunder, earthquake,
And a mighty hailstorm as well.

Rejection

The fear of rejection-
Despite the sunshine
And
California, dreams-
This place where snow never falls, and
The ocean exists just outside my back door-
This fear and aloneness
Not even a prayer would
Alleviate,
Although one day I met you
Walking barefooted in
The sunlight’s shadows –
A child of God you said you were and
That we are all God’s children-
Your hand outstretched
Reaching for mine- although
With some trepidation
I walked the path towards heaven
By your side as the rain fell-
Laughter was infectious,
I could feel my bare feet sinking into the
Muddy water, as we grew closer
Sharing the secrets of our wounded hearts,
Life, laughter and these peace filled moments had
Me believing I had found a friend in you-
It hardly mattered that the rain was falling hard
In this place where it hardly ever rained-
I would never be alone again…
Inside my small cracker box home
I would wait for your arrival, though
My thoughts, abruptly interrupted by
The harsh ringing of the telephone-
Life, laughter and peace-filled moments
Transformed to shattered hopes and phony expectations-
The God you had told me that answered everybody’s prayers-
Had different plans for you and I-
The hand that had so gratefully reached out to touch your soul
Took the wound of rejection, anger and deep disappointment -
The profuse bleeding was not the bleeding
From nails pounded into the hands of Christ crucified –
This God that you claimed had made so many promises, but
Was the bleeding of my wounded heart and wrist-
From that day on, I would never again repeat the words
“In God we trust” as
I had been betrayed by your false promises and
Forsaken by the God who walked with you-
I see blood in a puddle upon the
Kitchen floor,
Red contrasting rudely with the tile, stark white-
Hardly diluted by the tears of rejection
I had wept so copiously-
The rain has ceased to fall now and
The sun is shining again upon this land but
Not upon my inner space-
Here in my sanctuary, alone,
I cannot see the light of day-
California dreams have
Transformed to nightmares-
We are all God’s children,
As you had so faithfully said, but
I am a child of God who
Walks alone in the darkness
Towards the rising moon- and
They say only crazy people dance in the dark
When the moon is full-
The rain may have washed my tears away but inside of me
Lives an untrustworthy soul that
Will never reach heaven’s gates because
The God you walk with and in which you have
Placed your faith, in my mind does not exist-
Blinded by the bright sunlight, and
So angry at this world
I choose not to live in, I shall
Walk outside my back door towards the ocean,
Find a seashell and hold it to my ear to listen
To the waves roaring as
I walk barefooted in the sand alone-
Alone, being the only way I can exist-
You, God and the sun have not been true, and
Darkness had never seemed so beautiful as
I dance beneath the full moon during the midnight hours, as I
Converse with the voices that echo throughout my mind,
Locked behind the doors to my inner space forever,
Hidden behind the moonlight’s shadows
Perhaps a lost soul, though always dreaming…
