Reals Unknown: Still they are known to the heart of man
This same land that knew the footsteps of Arthur and Merlin
Shall once again know an age of chivalry
When the misunderstandings of our race shall fall into the shadow
Hiding and we shall stride as one together.
Yet many ages will pass before we sit each upon the grass
Laughing at the wars of the long lost times and mourning the
Souls of our ancestors who could not understand one another,
In this far distant future age men shall walk the earth
As the ancient masters of the past, Hermes shall be reborn
Just as the Christ child may be born again in a thousand incarnations
Dionysus shall ride the forest trail and men shall once more
Know the Gods as there fathers and knows children as the seed of the gods.
Aphrodite is worshipped through the ritual of vanity,
Hermes is worshipped through the studious and those wide known travelers,
Zeus is worshipped through the power of promise
And through respect and fear of the skies.
Poseidon is worshipped by those who still consider the sea as sacred in its power
Just as Artemis and Apollo are known through the masculinity
Of our solar power to the cycles of the blood moon waning.
Still skyclad Bacchants cheer with he roar of their gods in there tones,
Still we see ecstasy fuel the excitement of youth, just as wine
And alcohol are loved by most.
This present age knows only the loss of the names of those we worship
In our ritual yet soon there shall be men who foretell the tales of old beyond
The walls of lecture halls, children shall know the joy of Homers verse above
All they know of Biblical verse, for although holy and truly deep in truth,
The tradition of religion and its institutions hath been corrupted by the vanity
And evil of man, it would be safe to say that if ever the devil walked the earth
He did so in the name of undisputable doctrine, for this evil there is no measure,
In seeking your treasure as truth shall you find all the pleasures
Of the world available to your understanding.
Take in the land and embrace the day,
Understand the words you say and so
Shall you understand the way to the love
Of your opposite just as you may understand
The love of the Gods in every form.
Still Hades is feared as lord of the unknown realm,
Still bright eyed Athena startles with her insight of the most beautiful wisdom incarnate,
Artemis lady of the wild, child of Zeus and twin of Dionysus, fires silver arrows throughout the night whilst Hephaestus, hammer of the gods is sweltering within his forge.
Ares is worshipped most of all the men of this earth,
His power is strong yet the honor of Ares is lost to the cold slaughter of many.
Hestia is still worshiped by guarded fires and virgin purity,
Still married woman may be adorned with courage by Hera
To strive against there husbands tyranny. Pan may be found
In the countryside’s of Europe far from his native land, his beloved Arcady,
Dancing in circles with nymphs, chasing them and constantly rejected,
Yet never neglecting the love he has for all the creatures wild.
Still they are worshipped and still they are strong
Awaiting you to call upon them in all honour.
Deny not the feminine influence running within
The blood of sympathetic wisdom untold.

If 'That' Is Kept Pursued
'Why does reality have no chance of surviving,
In a land where fantasy is worshipped...
And prioritized for all to understand,
Throughout one's life as a demand? '
Fantasy is worshipped in a land,
Where reality has no chance...
And is repimanded,
From birth as a command.
'Oh...
So there is no choice involved? '
Of course there is.
If one chooses to be deluded by truth.
And decides to become ostracized,
If 'that' is kept pursued!

We brag that India is the land of sages and saints
We brag that India is the land of sages and saints
They retired from the world enamoured of divine colloquy
Their feelings have been recorded in the Vedas and the Upanisads
They lived in the forests and sang hymns to Nature
They worshipped Nature in her every mood
They worshipped the storm they worshipped the flood
They worshipped the corn they worshipped the woods
The fiercest and the poisonous animals they loved
Nature was at the centre of their thought
They felt that they were the offsprings of Nature
And they searched Nature in their innermost heart
Today their descendants—I mean the sages and saints
Of India today brag that they inherit the lore of the Vedas and the Upanisads
But they have retired into massive palaces
Built at the places of pilgrimage
And the built space has destroyed Nature in all its aspects
Oh Durkheim Oh Coleridge
Men do distinguish the sacred from the profane even today
But it is no longer the forest where one could wail for her demon lover
It has to be a temple as massive and gorgeous as the Pentagon
Or as imposing as the Eiffel Tower
The gurus have their personal boeings and shatter the primordial noise
With noise
Oh gods have fled from the holy places
Haridwar and Hrisikesh are the sites
Where billions of dollars from India and abroad flow
Alas Adam Smith you could not guess how India could be great and wealthy

When Your Hand Of Friendship Is Brushed Aside
say thank you
try extending your hand to another hand
to the other thousand hands in this world who need other hands
those with love in their hearts those with minds still believing in friendship
tell yourself she does not deserve your offer
assure yourself she is another ghost
another virtuality
another waste
a junk
without a name without a soul without a face
extend your hand to another hand with real fingers on them
and try seeing yourself in the mirror
you still have that reflection and that ghost does not have any
be glad
you are real and she isn't
does she think that you have pain and that you need her friendship badly
such that you want to bow before her like she is the goddess of beauty
and wisdom and truth?
let her be. She is not a part of you.
why bother?
be yourself and keep that hands of friendship warm
for another one who needs it too
let the gods reign in the heavens. They live in their clouds
stay on earth and be the river for the fishes to swim
for the strangers to drink with the cup of their hands for them to quench
their thirsts
let your hands of friendshipsbe the seeds of springs
the flowers of summers
that bloom forever
let your scent spread for those who still need them
and let these gods remain as gods
because they shall always be worshipped as loveless strangers of this earth

The Storm.
I can hear the great boughs swing
Through the stormy night,
Each a dryad-haunted thing
With its dark delight,
As within an old-world air
When the Gods were everywhere.
All the wood seems to be up
At some eerie play,
Wild as Bacchanals whose sup
Had all through the day
Been a deep one, as they roar
With the waves upon the shore.
'Tis in sooth as Pan, too, mad
For fair Syrinx fled,
Had from Hades come, and had
Brought with him the dead
Who of old had worshipped him
To a midnight revel grim.
Or is it that Syrinx too,
From the reed restored,
Romps it as the satyrs do
With her now-loved lord?
And is this the night of nights,
And are these their marriage rites?
Who shall say? The great boughs swing,
As Time in a whirl
Did to the dark forest bring
The goat-god and his girl,
With the earth-enamoured crew
For a mystic hour or two.
Till amid the tumult I
Fall asleep, like one
Who had put the ages by
In a dream begun
Far back in another sphere,
Ere my 'wildered soul came here!
Ah! the dream that may indeed
Outlive all I know,
When like one whom Fate has freed
I through Hades go,
And see the great vision cast
On the future by the past.

Before The War
(m&l - deris)
Come take a look up to the constelations
Take the book of God you will find your relations
If you understand you will know the solution
Things will fall back to the new constituction
Im a son of a distant future
Im the last of the seven troopers
And I came here for the 7th war
Im a child of the stars
The blaster os the gods
And I have seen it all before
Before the war
Cold- hearted earth
Im the master of the universe
And I have seen it all before
Before the war
Nature sets a limit to
Your millenary
Turning every place into
A cruel mean scenary
All will get a chance to shun
The holy fire
But you will be few getting
Under the wire
Im a son of a distant future
Im the last of the seven troopers
And I came here for
The 7th war
Im a child of the stars
The blaster os the gods
And I have seen it all before
Before the war
Cold- hearted earth
Im the master of the universe
And I have seen it all before
Before the war
Mind the 7th war- mind the 7th war
Yes I came here for the 7th war
Im a child of the stars
The blaster os the gods
And I have seen it all before
Before the war
Cold- hearted earth
Im the master of the universe
And I have seen it all before
Before the war

Gods
Gods of the white man,
Gods of the black man,
Gods of the almond shade
all of these Gods
have done one thing,
made the people afraid.
Gods of the red man,
Gods of the brown man
Gods of the yellow hue,
all of these Gods
have done the same
divided them into
Separate people
who've been led to believe
their God is the holy one
to save their souls
and pardon them
and deliver them
from earthly sin.
How can there be
so many Gods?
Isn't there only one?
One for every single soul
born unto this earth.
He's every color that there is
since the world's begun.

A Child of the Snows
There is heard a hymn when the panes are dim,
And never before or again,
When the nights are strong with a darkness long,
And the dark is alive with rain.
Never we know but in sleet and in snow,
The place where the great fires are,
That the midst of the earth is a raging mirth
And the heart of the earth a star.
And at night we win to the ancient inn
Where the child in the frost is furled,
We follow the feet where all souls meet
At the inn at the end of the world.
The gods lie dead where the leaves lie red,
For the flame of the sun is flown,
The gods lie cold where the leaves lie gold,
And a Child comes forth alone.

Auri Sacra Fames
Now that the gods are dead—where shall we find us a god?
Myths of the Greek Olympus have sunk in the surge of Time;
And Jehovah, the God of Wrath, who stayed the sun at His nod;
And Jesus, the Nazarene, preaching a dream sublime.
Worship and form may live, practice and faith have fled.
Where shall we find us a god—now that the gods are dead?
What of the Old exists but feels the touch of the New?
Thousands of voices shout: where is the voice that leads?
Thro’ the wreathing mists of night will the grey of dawn be true,
In the age of vague unrest, strivings, and shattered creeds?
Where the children turn with scorn from the paths their fathers trod,
Now that the gods are dead, where shall we find us a god?
Gone are the mists of old in the light of the larger day!
Gone is the foolish hope, the trust in a Power above!
Science has swept the heavens and brushed religion away!
What need we hope or fear? Warfare is clothed like Love!
Priestcraft is but a trade—souls can be bought and sold!
Why should we seek for a god—now that our god is Gold?
Great were the gods of eld—a greater than all is near!
Noblest of all the powers which ruled o’er the soul of man!
Centuries paved the way, now the ideal is here
Product of all the aeons that rolled since the world began!
Millions have toiled for this with sufferings manifold.
This is the triumph of time—the god of the world is Gold!
Worship before his feet and kneel in his holy place,
For his altar is on the hearth and the rolling world is his throne!
With the throb of a votary’s pulse beats the heart of the human race,
From the lips of the child at play sounds the creed we have called our own.
Gather, O sons of men, but not like the men of old:
Savages worshipped honour—we have no god but Gold.
Gather, O sons of men! let us kneel at the sacred shrine.
Beauty was won by deeds—now it is bought and sold!
Justice was deemed of God—now it is scarce divine!
Honour dearer than life—what is honour to Gold?
O daughters, sisters, and wives! beauty was meant to sell!
Let us call the blessing of Heaven on the marriages made in Hell!
Over the marriage chime, and over the requiem’s sigh,
Into the peace of home enters the roar of the mart.
Barter whilst day be day, ere night, when no man may buy!
Nothing too high or low in a world of culture and art!
This is the crowning age, born of the centuries fled
Age of “Sweetness and Light”—now that the gods are dead!
Souls of the mighty dead who lived and died for the right,
Genius inspired of heaven to battle for human need—
These are the days of the dawn, the dawn of diviner light,
When the child at its mother’s breast is lisping the modern creed—
If haply thine eyes may gaze on the paths which thy feet have trod,
Behold, in a godless age, we have sought and found us a god!
Deep from a million throats rises the strain sublime—
“Justice is for the rich, patience is for the poor ;
Wealth is the only good, want is the only crime;
Beauty is for the old if but the price be sure.”
Deep in the whole world’s heart festers the cursèd creed.
Yea, though the gods be dead, we have found us a god indeed!
Better the clash of steel and the flag of battle unfurled!
Better the roar of guns and death for the future’s sake!
Than that the curse of Gold should canker the heart of the world.
Where is the voice of the leader? When will the people wake?
Nay! let us fold our hands! Madman, what fool would blight
The star of an age whose Christ is Moloch, the Ammonite?
Nay! for the day draws near when all shall not worship Gold!
Honour shall not be bought, wealth shall not make the man.
All have not turned away from the truths which were loved of old!
All have not toiled in vain since the toil of the world began!
All have not laid their souls at the feet of the idol red.
Some have remembered God—now that the gods are dead

A World of Rolling Dust
Dogs are chewing there own legs down to the bone
As children play within the bloodshed attempting
To keep happy and bright a world of rolling dust.
Open bullet wounds in the Childs side reveal the
Uncaring justice of Ares, the wood nymphs of the
Wild night are praying to Bacchus, calling him to
Fuel the ecstasy of man towards love of his brother
Upon the vine they call, falling upon there knees in prayer
They await him in silence to stem from his
Father’s thigh, Zeus god of the sky is watching as
Ever leaving to men and the Fates their destiny
Yet as he watches he sighs for it seems as though
Man has lost his knowledge divine, he hath separated
The science beyond a need to know each other for
Once in the world all wisdom was as a circle of
Kings who ruled over a kingdom unison
Yet now it seems that each hath created his boundaries
Each resents the other to occupy his land and so
Man hath forgotten the eternity within the palm of his hand,
So man has lost his ability to recognise and understand
That divinity lay within himself, the only resemblance of
His nature is the one he finds in the eyes of the ones
He loves; those that make him swoon with the delight
Of the blue moon full, for in the eyes of a true lover
We may uncover the secret of the midnight suns concealing,
Through love we may recover and heal those that we hold
Just as we below are as those above, forever young yet an eternity old.

In The Sun
Written by joseph arthur
Performed by peter gabriel on diana, princess of wales - tribute
I picture you in the sun
Wondering what went wrong
And falling down on your knees
Asking for sympathy
And being caught inbetween
All you wish for and all you seem
And trying to find anything
You can feel that you can believe in
May gods love be with you
Always
May gods love be with you
Always
I know I would apologise
If I could see your eyes
Cos when you showed me myself, you know
I became someone else
But I was caught inbetween
All you wish for and all you need
I picture you fast asleep
A nightmare comes
You cant keep awake
May gods love be with you
Always
May gods love be with you
Always
May gods love be with you
Always
May gods love be with you
Cos if I find - if I find my own way
How much will I find
If I find - if I find my own way
How much will I find
If I find - if I find my own way
How much will I find
If I find - if I find my own way
How much will I find
How much will I find
How much will I find
You, yeh, you
Ill find you, you, you - oo
Ill find you, you, you - oo
Ill find you, you, you - oo
Oh I dont know anymore
What its for
Im not even sure
If there is anyone
Who is in the sun
Will you help me to understand
Cos Ive been caught inbetween
All I wish for and all I seem
Or maybe youre not even sure
What its for
Anymore than me
May gods love be with you
Always
May gods love be with you
May gods love be with you
Be with you ...

The Prophetic Bard's Oration: From A Faun's Holiday
'Be warned! I feel the world grow old,
And off Olympus fades the gold
Of the simple passionate sun;
And the Gods wither one by one;
Proud-eyed Apollo's bow is broken,
And throned Zeus nods nor may be woken
But by the song of spirits seven
Quiring in the midnight heaven
Of a new world no more forlorn,
Sith unto it a Babe is born,
That in a propped, thatched stable lies,
While with darkling, reverent eyes
Dusky Emperors, coifed in gold,
Kneel mid the rushy mire, and hold
Caskets of rubies, urns of myrrh,
Whose fumes enwrap the thurifer
And coil toward the high dim rafters
Where, with lutes and warbling laughters,
Clustered cherubs of rainbow feather,
Fanning the fragrant air together,
Flit in jubilant holy glee,
And make heavenly minstrelsy
To the Child their Sun, whose flow
Bathes them His cloudlets from below . . . .
Long shall this chimed accord be heard,
Yet all earth hushed to His first word:
Then shall be seen Apollo's car
Blaze headlong like a banished star;
And the Queen of heavenly Loves
Dragged downward by her dying doves;
Vulcan, spun on a wheel, shall track
The circle of the zodiac;
Silver Artemis be lost,
To the polar blizzards tossed;
Heaven shall curdle as with blood;
The sun be swallowed in the flood;
The universe be silent save
For the low drone of winds that lave
The shadowed great world's ashen sides
As through the rustling void she glides.
Then shall there be a whisper heard
Of the Grave's Secret and its Word,
Where in black silence none shall cry
Save those who, dead-affrighted, spy
How from the murmurous graveyeards creep
The figures of eternal sleep.
Last: when 'tis light men shall behold,
Beyond the crags, a flower of gold
Blossoming in a golden haze,
And, while they guess Zeus' halls now blaze,
Shall in the blossom's heart descry
The saints of a new hierarchy! '
He ceased . . . and in the morning sky
Zeus' anger threatened murmurously.
I sped away. The lightning's sword
Stabbed on the forest. But the word
Abides with me. I feel its power
Most darkly in the twilit hour,
When Night's eternal shadow, cast
Over earth hushed and pale and vast,
Darkly foretells the soundless Night
In which this orb, so green, so bright,
Now spins, and which shall compass her
When on her rondure nought shall stir
But snow-whorls which the wind shall roll
From the Equator to the Pole . . . .
For everlastingly there is
Something Beyond, Behind: I wis
All Gods are haunted, and there clings,
As hounds behind fled sheep, the things
Beyond the Universe's ken:
Gods haunt the Half-Gods, Half-Gods men,
And Man the brute. Gods, born of Night
Feel a blacker appetite
Gape to devour them; Half-Gods dread
But jealous Gods; and mere men tread
Warily lest a Half-God rise
And loose on them from empty skies
Amazement, thunder, stark affright,
Famine and sudden War's thick night,
In which loud Furies hunt the Pities
Through smoke above wrecked, flaming cities.
For Pan, the Unknown God, rules all.
He shall outlive the funeral,
Change, and decay, of many Gods,
Until he, too, lets fall his rods
Of viewless power upon that minute
When Universe cowers at Infinite!

Do You Fear The Kingdom Of Shades?
Cycles in and out of time are moving endless circles in our minds
And we are one with the all. And we pretend that this is it,
Seeking to jest with lords and ladies at banquet halls
When the truth of humanity is to be found in the shadows of the city.
Here we are primal; here we forget what society expects of us
And we run, sometimes wild beyond the walls of our asylum
Sometimes wild within ourselves, tearing at every part of our sanity
We are as immaculate angels concealed within a human form so
That we may know beauty beyond what we are,
So that we may strive, and love and live to love.
Forget not that our ancestors strived to honor and love the world
Of which we were part, and now we are as ignorant children refusing to do our
Mother good when all she does for us is life.
Ask me not of suffering, or pain upon this plain
For the Balance is kept
Maybe by Gods, maybe by fate,
Maybe we can never be early or late
But believe it not
For who are we to surrender choice unto the gods
You have a voice
Use it
For we do not write to be read
We write to be heard.
Breathe and be relieved
That you are here
Now
And so easily you could not be
Look unto the skies and see what you feel
Look beyond the skies and see what is real.
The moment ever ending
The moment ever decomposing into the creation of the next
How many millennia hold there secrets in the loss of the serpents kiss?
Upon the shore there is a child, wild eyed in search of wisdoms bliss,
Faceless shadows form upon the surface of the void
Worlds are colliding, boundaries breaking
The flames of the inferno rise
And within the eyes of the devil
Stirs love sweet love to his surprise.
Would you dance with the devil
If he offered you the world?
Do you fear the kingdom of shades?
A cold and pristine beauty reflects within itself the origin of the soul
Here I am, confronting the god head of death,
Breathing fresher breath than ever I have known
See through death towards the other side of morning.
A Crystal Age is rising
Here we are at the dawn
Able to see what we never shall see
Able to hear what we never shall hear
Able to love all it is that we fear
Journey through the eyes of Orion
Throughout the abyss unfolding
Seek the source of wisdoms flowing
Seek upon your journey to know.
We run alone so far from home
Beneath a blazing sun
We claim our thrones of human bone
And claim our love is won.
Staring into the eyes of a Titan raging
What do you see?
Do you see the future past as the present now
Do you question how and why we're aging?
What is an answer with the question unset?
What is sorrow with naught to regret?

In this world the gods have lost their way
Can't keep this picture from out of my mind
This fear hand in hand crossing innocence, time
Surrounding creation they caught in a trap
The youngest offenders will witness confusion
They driving so fast not a care in the end
Escaping collision every twist every bend
When you're young invincible nothing to lose
Keep seeing this picture standing in a circle
The gods have forgotten to switch on the light
Who's lost in the dark will crash in the night
These lessons we're living the lies of the day
Expect them to honor and never disobey
Yet greed is controlling the elders display
No wonder the younger look at them in shame
The spirit of survival
Who's teaching the hatred
The spirit of survival
Or the class of your school
The spirit of survival
The color of your money
We're standing in a circle
We don't understand at all
They don't understand at all
In this world I truly do believe there is a safer place
In this world I truly do believe there is a safer place
The younger the older the wiser become
Recover misfortune this true life as one
Our genius is shining the past has all gone
What's left is the clearest perception of one
The spirit of survival
To magnify the power
The spirit of survival
To magnify the soul
The spirit of survival
To magnify the love

The Loss Of A Child
Dear God we ask,
Take care of our little child,
Someone who means so much to us,
So beautiful, so gentle, so mild.
A battle fought when tiny,
To stay upon this earth,
A child that was very weak,
From the moment of the birth.
Our prayers were sent for healing,
We gave thanks every day,
For the time the child was amongst us,
But alas, still was taken away.
You have taken the one we worshipped,
To your home in heaven above,
I am sure you had your reasons,
For taking someone we love.
My child I know you are hurting,
You feel life is not the same,
You have nothing to reproach yourself,
You were not to blame.
God took back to heaven,
A rare and beautiful flower,
He has planted it in his garden,
Will surround it with all his power.
The spirit of your child,
In heaven will develop and grow,
To be surrounded by those good people,
Will be surrounded by those you know
Although you have lost the material,
The spirit will be strong and true,
The good times you remember,
Your child will be close to you.

She reigns supreme For new friend Sid
The old gods sleep they are not dead
Although neglected still they wait
for worshippers who long since fled.
Hope to regain their former state.
This hope they cherish as they dream
of pomp and power and sacrifice
and in their wakeful moments scheme.
But all their schemes will not suffice.
To reinstate their golden days,
The days when they held pride of place
and worshippers sang in their praise.
Before they fell into disgrace.
Invaders came with foreign gods.
Displaced the local deities.
Though some survived against the odds
and still were worshipped secretly.
As fashions change new gods prevail
and the old gods are driven out
But true believers will not fail
They know without the slightest doubt.
Although in public they comply
with dictates of authority.
This is pretence for public show
but deep within their hearts they know.
The Mother Goddess rules us still
though she appears in different guise.
She always did and always will.
She is all seeing and all wise.

[verse 1]
Here I am alone with You
Quietly I talk to You
You said the truth would set me free
So here I am surrendering
(pre-chorus)
I know I can let your promise be my hope
And I know until You take me home
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe
[verse 2]
My heart is overflowing
With peace beyond all knowing
This love is deep, it shelters me
And I'm safe within Your reach
(pre-chorus)
I know I can let your promise be my hope
And I know until You take me home
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe
[bridge]
Though the odds are stacked against me
Though I'm running out of time
My heart is breaking
But I know You are mine
So I let You see into me as
You hold me in Your hand
My heart is on my sleeve
I'm safe because You understand
You understand
[chorus]
I'm safe (I'm safe), safe 'cause You love me
Safe (I'm safe), safe all because Your name
Has power to calm the ocean
When everything changes I'm safe

Tears In God's Eyes
One man cant sleep in his penthouse bed,
Wall Street worries fill his head,
While another man dreams,
In his cardboard shed on Broadway.
Early morning traffic jam,
Wake up call for both of them,
Will work to eat
Asks easy street for small change.
And which one needs it more,
The rich man or the poor,
A change of heart and attitude,
Unselfishness meets gratitude.
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes,
Enough to make the angels cry,
When the power of love lifts someone above,
The emptiness of their unbearable life,
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes.
Late at night a baby cries,
His mother gives him life then dies,
But no one even by them to be sad.
And another woman fills the need,
Its her heart and his mouth shell feed,
When she gives her love to the child she never had.
Oh, and which one needs it more,
Its hard to say for sure,
When something grows, when nothing was
As strong as any bond of blood.
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes,
Enough to make the angels cry,
When the power of love lifts someone above,
The emptiness of their unbearable life,
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes.
Every minute, every day
A little miracles done,
Someone opens up their heart
And lets it shine like the sun,
Just the light of that one.
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes,
Enough to make the angels cry,
When the power of love lifts someone above,
The emptiness of their unbearable life,
Its enough to put tears in Gods eyes...
