Gabrielle Smiles

How my heart doth wander
Oh how my heart doth weep
In loosing sense of wonder
I’m not getting any sleep.

Tie me to the meadow
Hang me from a cloud
Whilst I’m gathering my senses
I think softly yet aloud.

Inside a world is waiting
Awaiting you to care
Step outside your aching
Still know that you where there.

Take in the skies with honest eyes
True a Joy will be yours
Deny your eyes – Confuse with lies
Your vision and conceal the door

Open wide
Dance wild.

Gabrielle smiles
A wistful smile.
Her wings are torn
Yet await her miles

Gathered petals in her hair
She stands ever daring you
Through eyes of honest passion.
To ride a wave of blue
Just to crash upon her shore.

Weep you no more, sad fountains

Weep you no more, sad fountains;
What need you flow so fast?
Look how the snowy mountains
Heaven's sun doth gently waste.
But my sun's heavenly eyes
View not your weeping,
That now lies sleeping
Softly, now softly lies
Sleeping.

Sleep is a reconciling,
A rest that peace begets:
Doth not the sun rise smiling
When fair at even he sets?
Rest you then, rest, sad eyes,
Melt not in weeping,
While she lies sleeping
Softly, now softly lies
Sleeping.

Delicious Beauty That Doth Lie

DELICIOUS Beauty, that doth lie
Wrapped in a skin of ivory,
Lie still, lie still upon thy back,
And, Fancy, let no sweet dreams lack
To tickle her, to tickle her with pleasing thoughts.

But if thy eyes are open full,
Then deign to view an honest gull
That stands, that stands expecting still
When that thy casement open will;
And bless his eyes, and bless his eyes with one kind glance.

Night, Nights Sleepless

Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
Thou you asked love to
lend some happiness
fate has gifted you
sadness for life

Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
all boats are gone
and flooded away
your loved ones pierced
you with dagger of lies

Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
now why are you smiling
whilst bleeding tears
your sun is set
before even rise

Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
there was just a hope
on a peck of straw
alas! it is also burnt
now ashes doth lies

Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise

Eyes Wide Open

Your eyes are wide open, but yet you don’t see
All the love I have inside of me.
Eyes wide open, but you don’t look around
You don’t open your ears, you don’t hear a sound.

Eyes wide open but the beauties that surround you
Do not seem to exist.
Is it that your eyes on you are playing tricks?

Eyes wide open and yet you have a blank stare.
Have you closed off your mind?
Or you just don’t care.

What can I do to remove that haze
So that on my face you can gaze.
If I hold you tenderly in my arms
And kiss those beautiful eyes.
Will they move? Will they cry?

What must I do so that you can see
That our love was meant to be.
They say that you went deep inside yourself
To hide the hurt and pain
But without your love “ I am the same”.

Eyes wide open. Did they just glance at me?
Is it because your heart is finally free?
I see a tear forming in your eyes
Emotions being let out that you tried to hide.

Eyes wide open- now they are mine
I can see your love for the very first time.

Smile For Me

'Smile for me!

Is somebody waiting for me?

She took this picture

Did she take it for me?

Time is ticking,

Her smile insists, just to tell her was she waiting me?

When she smiles, I feel it, I know, I see it.

When she’s happy,

Smiles so bright, gives me another reason

For her her I’d fight!

I am happy when she’s happy

I smile when she smiles

I face the fact that it’s just her smile.

But I know inside,

Deep inside that smile,

She smiles for me, just for awhile.

A picture perfected, you should see

I just love it when she smiles for me.

She inspires me to reach out my hand

Hold her close

Let her stand

That smile of hers, no one can take,

No matter how early, no matter how late.

The time it takes, you must understand

It starting now, it starts again.

When you see her smile

It makes you see, just how deep is her real beauty.

To display her I would

Smile for me she should

My day would be complete, when she even smiles for me.

Those eyes, that skin, her hair, that grin

Makes you forget what world you are in

Her eyes I gaze

Her hands so soft

When she?

Will she?

I think she ought.

Smile for me, not the first or the last

Just smile for me, my time has past

I wait to see that smile she wore

She smiles for me forevermore.

Did I miss it?

Here it comes, a smile for me is coming out

But when, If, I wonder how.

She smiles when she sees me, when I am no where around

That smile she has inspires us all.

Will she smile? will she smile at all?

I wait to see, is it coming out? That smile is here,

It’s out it’s out

Taken with time

A grin so new

Just one more smile

Ok make it two.

Held in my arms.

Waiting’ to see.

Smiling, waiting, too much to ask,

But smile for me, at last, at last!

I saw one coming out

Here’s another

She smiles, she smiles like no other.
When she, will she, I should wonder,
But that smile of hers is the 9th world wonder.

Smile for me, smile wide smile bright!
Give me a smile to rest with tonight.

My smile is yours as you can see,
But smile for me so they all can see.

Hidden behind that timeless frame,
Is a smile I would love to see again and again'

The Little House

WHEN my heart goes a-roving
'Tis the wide ways for me,
And the fields, and the hills,
And the big, blue sea.
Then 'tis far, far I wander,
And 'tis little that you care,
With your wiles, and your smiles,
And your eyes and hair.
But the dream of you follows,
Or it gleams at my side;
And I turn, turn about,
For the world seems wide.
There's a rose-mist about you
And 'tis sweet, sweet you are,
With your throat and your cheeks
And your face a star.
When my heart comes a-homing
'Tis the little house I see,
Where you sit all alone
With a stool for me.

Ella Wheeler Wilcox

The Way Of It

This is the way of it, wide world over,
One is beloved, and one is the lover,
One gives and the other receives.
One lavishes all in a wild emotion,
One offers a smile for a life’s devotion,
One hopes and the other believes,
One lies awake in the night to weep,
And the other drifts off in a sweet sound sleep.

One soul is aflame with a godlike passion,
One plays with love in an idler’s fashion,
One speaks and the other hears.
One sobs, ‘I love you, ’ and wet eyes to show it,
And one laughs lightly, and says, ‘I know it, ’
With smiles for the other’s tears.
One lives for the other and nothing beside,
And the other remembers the world is wide.

This is the way of it, sad earth over,
The heart that breaks is the heart of the lover,
And the other learns to forget.
‘For what is the use in endless sorrow?
Though the sun goes down, it will rise tomorrow;
And life is not over yet.’
Oh! I know this truth, if I know no other,
That passionate Love is Pain’s own mother.

Cradle Song

Sleep, sleep, beauty bright,
Dreaming in the joys of night;
Sleep, sleep; in thy sleep
Little sorrows sit and weep.

Sweet babe, in thy face
Soft desires I can trace,
Secret joys and secret smiles,
Little pretty infant wiles.

As thy softest limbs I feel
Smiles as of the morning steal
O'er thy cheek, and o'er thy breast
Where thy little heart doth rest.

O the cunning wiles that creep
In thy little heart asleep!
When thy little heart doth wake,
Then the dreadful night shall break.

Crash & Burn

I always thought we were in control
But our lives could never be what they were before
Theres a rhythm in our love
Only you and I can feel it
Outsiders in a world where passion is a crime
So we conceal it
Now this hard road leaves a bitter taste at the bottom of my cup
But if I got you, no way, Ill never give up
Tonight, tomorrow, dont know how far well get
With the blue moonlight beyond another deep sunset
Ill be ready when theres nowhere to run
Yeah I been waiting for the heartache to come
Crash and burn
Deep inside your heart
Crash and burn
Oh yeah
Crash and burn
Love moves too fast
I lose control
Ill never learn
Crash and burn
Now I believe theres a way for us
Therell come a time, therell come a day for us
Unleash this heart and let the spirit free
Its the emotional part
Its a deep and dangerous thing
But Ill be ready when theres nowhere to run
See I been waiting for the heartache to come
Crash and burn
Deep inside your heart
Crash and burn
Do you feel it?
Crash and burn
Love moves too fast
I lose control
Ill never learn
Crash and burn
Now Im ready and theres nowhere to run
Im waiting, waiting for the heartache to come
Crash and burn
Deep inside your heart
Crash and burn
Oh yeah
Crash and burn
Love moves too fast
I lose control
Crash and burn
Oh yeah
Crash and burn
Can you feel it?
Crash and burn
Loves straight ahead
I wont slow down
And I wont turn
Crash and burn
Crash and burn
Can you feel it?
Crash and burn
Crash and burn
Crash and burn

The Nights And Your Eyes

The nights and your eyes
How they are alike
With both I'm in love Since I'm alive
They are my best friends The nights and your eyes
With them I can talk and dance When I'm destoyed and alone
They are my honest friends They never refuse listening to my hearts voice Inside silently they cry When I tell them sad stories of love They always cry Though they try to hide But I can feel when those eyes cry Oh those eyes are my life and the night is my dear friend. They wipe away my tears and they ask me to smile And I ask them to let me in There I forget all my heart pain Once I smile and once I cry When the time of goodbye arrive

Sonnet 43: Fair Eyes, Sweet Lips

Fair eyes, sweet lips, dear heart, that foolish I
Could hope by Cupid's help on you to prey;
Since to himself he doth your gifts apply,
As his main force, choice sport, and easeful stay.

For when he will see who dare him gainsay,
Then with those eyes he looks, lo by and by
Each soul doth at Love's feet his weapons lay,
Glad if for her he give them leave to die.

When he will play, then in her lips he is,
Where blushing red, that Love's self them doth love,
With either lip he doth the other kiss:

But when he will for quiet's sake remove
From all the world, her heart is then his room
Where well he knows, no man to him can come.

Ocean of memories....

When one day missing you becomes unbearable
I will seek you out from deep within the ocean of my memories
Walk on the sands of time till it lead me to your sunkissed shores
Where our journey ended and love will once again be reborn
Here i will await your loving heart

I will gaze out across the ocean
Breathe in the winds of hope
Close my eyes and cast the nets of faith once more
Reel in the vision of bygone times

In one precious moment
I shall surrender my soul, my heart, my being
To the rememberance of the fragrance of your body
Rediscovering its secrets
I shall recall the waves to the shore
and bathe blissfully in the ocean of your memories

We shall become one
Dance to the rhythm of our heartbeats
Watch a million butterflies taking flight
Shimmering bubbles floating above us
Watch the sun as it rises and sets in eyes yours and mine

Embrace and behold the beauty of loves tidal wave
Ride the waves of ecstacy
Reaching a crescendo
As each wave of passion hits the shore
and we evanesce into sprays of pearls and water
Ultimately
just another dropp in the ocean of memories

Sonnet XII: The Lovers' Walk

Sweet twining hedgeflowers wind-stirred in no wise
On this June day; and hand that clings in hand:—
Still glades; and meeting faces scarcely fann'd:—
An osier-odoured stream that draws the skies
Deep to its heart; and mirrored eyes in eyes:—
Fresh hourly wonder o'er the Summer land
Of light and cloud; and two souls softly spann'd
With one o'erarching heaven of smiles and sighs:—
Even such their path, whose bodies lean unto
Each other's visible sweetness amorously,—
Whose passionate hearts lean by Love's high decree
Together on his heart for ever true,
As the cloud-foaming firmamental blue
Rests on the blue line of a foamless sea.

Sonnet XXI

WAs it the worke of nature or of Art?
which tempred so the feature of her face:
that pride and meeknesse mixt by equall part,
doe both appeare t'adorne her beauties grace.
For with mild pleasance, which doth pride displace,
she to her loues doth lookers eyes allure:
& with sterne countenance back again doth chace
their looser lookes that stir vp lustes impure,
With such strange termes her eyes she doth inure,
that with one looke she doth my life dismay:
and with another doth it streight recure,
her smile me drawes, her frowne me driues away.
Thus doth she traine and teach me with her lookes,
such art of eyes I neuer read in bookes.

To Constantia, Singing

I.
Thus to be lost and thus to sink and die,
Perchance were death indeed!—Constantia, turn!
In thy dark eyes a power like light doth lie,
Even though the sounds which were thy voice, which burn
Between thy lips, are laid to sleep;
Within thy breath, and on thy hair, like odour, it is yet,
And from thy touch like fire doth leap.
Even while I write, my burning cheeks are wet.
Alas, that the torn heart can bleed, but not forget!

II.
A breathless awe, like the swift change
Unseen, but felt in youthful slumbers,
Wild, sweet, but uncommunicably strange,
Thou breathest now in fast ascending numbers.
The cope of heaven seems rent and cloven
By the enchantment of thy strain,
And on my shoulders wings are woven,
To follow its sublime career
Beyond the mighty moons that wane
Upon the verge of Nature's utmost sphere,
Till the world’s shadowy walls are past and disappear.

III.
Her voice is hovering o’er my soul—it lingers
O’ershadowing it with soft and lulling wings,
The blood and life within those snowy fingers
Teach witchcraft to the instrumental strings.
My brain is wild, my breath comes quick--
The blood is listening in my frame,
And thronging shadows, fast and thick,
Fall on my overflowing eyes;
My heart is quivering like a flame;
As morning dew, that in the sunbeam dies,
I am dissolved in these consuming ecstasies.

IV.
I have no life, Constantia, now, but thee,
Whilst, like the world-surrounding air, thy song
Flows on, and fills all things with melody.--
Now is thy voice a tempest swift and strong,
On which, like one in trance upborne,
Secure o'er rocks and waves I sweep,
Rejoicing like a cloud of morn.
Now 'tis the breath of summer night,
Which when the starry waters sleep,
Round western isles, with incense-blossoms bright,
Lingering, suspends my soul in its voluptuous flight.

Sonnet 137: Thou blind fool, Love, what dost thou to mine eyes

Thou blind fool, Love, what dost thou to mine eyes
That they behold and see not what they see?
They know what beauty is, see where it lies,
Yet what the best is, take the worst to be.
If eyes corrupt by overpartial looks,
Be anchored in the bay where all men ride,
Why of eyes' falsehood hast thou forgèd hooks,
Whereto the judgment of my heart is tied?
Why should my heart think that a several plot
Which my heart knows the wide world's common place?
Or mine eyes seeing this, say this is not
To put fair truth upon so foul a face?
In things right true my heart and eyes have erred,
And to this false plague are they now transferred.

What is it that stands between us?

Back again to see the day,
To see through skies another way.
Through pastel shades we fade away
Blissful in the night.

What it is I’ve done
Where did I go wrong?
Maybe there’s nothing more to this,
Maybe it won’t last long
This happiness I’m feeling.

Dazed, blazed confused, you know, crazed.
Ripped. Torn. Worn out at the seams.
Coming apart, slowly but surely we fall in endless dreams
And close our eyes we drift into the night
And everything’s o.k. for a little while, everything’s alright.

You know you can come back with me now
To way back when
We’d sit around in uniform and maybe then
Dance away the blues at night
To scared to face the daemons that awaited us in the day realm.

The source is drained,
Go close your eyes,
Slip on over to the dark side,
The other side of morning.

Another way to see it through
Another way to blue and back again
All for you my friend
To dance the night aflame.

Dreams fulfill desire, open up your minds eye.
Perceive the reality around you, a shambles.
Take a little gamble, you know, take a step outside.

Shape, mould desire into each and every form,
Break away from the norm, you know, its all an illusion.
Shake away the sleep from your eyes,
Torn away from bloodshot skies,
Another day is born.

As the new dawn fades,
As shades of grey
Follow in our footsteps.

Keep on keeping on, sweet dreams ever onwards.
Don’t languish too long in temptation,
Redemption lies beyond your shoulder.
What is it that stands between us?
I see no diversion in your path,
All I ask is you sit back and laugh awhile
Await the time to pass.

What does it mean?
How do you feel?
Does it make it any more real
That your dreams are scattered evermore.

Are you ever going to stop and think?
Sink a while, and wallow
Swallowed, engulfed within realm of nonsensical values,
Who could complain? Not I, I’d do it all again.

Song And Dance Man

Last night I felt a wind
of change blow through me.
It spoke of a million things
before I die I should see.
Open up your eyes.
Life is poetry in motion.
Ride the open sky
I'll be ok as soon as I'm on my way
I am a song and dance man
Yes, I am a song and dance man
Woman. Oh, woman, sometimes I hear your voice.
It calls out to me,
makes my heart bleed.
Haven't got any chance.
Open my eyes.
Life is poetry in motion
Ride the open sky.
I'll be ok as soon as I'm on my way.
I am a song and dance man
Oh yes I am, a song and dance man
I am a song and dance man
Tokyo has rolling thunder
beautiful women and warm summer rain
Honolulu has stars of fire
words alone cannot explain
Open up your eyes
Spread your wings and fly
Oh Lord I am a song and dance man
Oh Lord I am a song and dance man
That's what I am
A song and dance man
