Deaths Projections
When the heavens change, stars re arrange themselves
Upon the blanket sky. From the hollows of the mountain comes
The herald of Our Mother, tears frozen in her eyes.
The destruction of Eden
Is the deconstruction of the soul
Without our mother natures nurture
How can we ever come to grow?
I’m not here to represent
That which has already been presented
In the form of Our Lady the Earth.
Eden weaves the summer leaves
As brothers green breathe in life anew.
Summers gone, the Autumn come
There’re no more skies of mellow blue.
With Winter comes crisp virgin snow
Capping the valleys height.
Summers gone, it’s been too long
It’s still so far out of sight.
From deaths projections bend the expectations
Of a shadow shifting in moods.
The greatest irony man has ever known is to deny his creation
By use of a will that hath grown as it hath flourished through the years.

Autumn Thoughts
Gone hath the Spring, with all its flowers,
And gone the Summer's pomp and show,
And Autumn, in his leafless bowers,
Is waiting for the Winter's snow.
I said to Earth, so cold and gray,
'An emblem of myself thou art.'
'Not so,' the Earth did seem to say,
'For Spring shall warm my frozen heart.'
I soothe my wintry sleep with dreams
Of warmer sun and softer rain,
And wait to hear the sound of streams
And songs of merry birds again.
But thou, from whom the Spring hath gone,
For whom the flowers no longer blow,
Who standest blighted and forlorn,
Like Autumn waiting for the snow;
No hope is thine of sunnier hours,
Thy Winter shall no more depart;
No Spring revive thy wasted flowers,
Nor Summer warm thy frozen heart.

Jacky Frost
When Summers blue sky fades to grey
And swiftly ends the shortening day,
When coldness takes the flowers away
Ill dance the dance of winter!
Over hedges see me trip
To frost the leaf and haw and hip,
To petrify each sparkling drip
And dance the dance of winter.
Ill fade the roses red to white,
Redress the landscape in one night!
Make the cobwebs crisp and white
And herald in the winter.
I’ll tiptoe over lawns and trees
The water pipe I soon shall freeze,
Ill bring transport to its knees!
And turn all things to winter
In leafy Hollows, see me hide,
I herald in the Christmas tide
Where man keeps snug by fires inside
While outside, I am winter.

Summer Love
Bill dees
Autumn leaves, when they fall
Whisper to the wind, ringing out, telling all
Of the summers end.
Now youre gone far away, how I long to hear you say
I love you.
Whirling leaves, swirling leaves tell me Im alone
Wishing you were here with me longing for you home.
Winter nights are lonely nights how I long to hold you tight
I miss you.
A gentle breeze in the trees will tell me spring is here
And I feel anxiety knowing youll be near.
Summer nights, Ill hold you tight
Under the moon above youll be my summer love.
When summers here and you are near every day Ill pray
Autumn leaves will never come and with me youll stay
You will mean more to me, yes, youll be
More than just a summer love

Summer Of '78
It was one of those summers
lasting forever
making the winter wait.
A summer of music and passion
the summer of '78.
You appeared like the summer
sudden and perfect
and not a day too late.
I swear there was music
when I found you
that summer of '78.
It seemed we floated
through the days
and nights were always
filled with stars.
And it seemed every song
that they played on the
radio was ours.
It was one of those summers
only for lovers
touched by the hand of fate.
And now when winter's are long
I remember the summer of '78...

Autumn, Thee Lovely...
Perhaps 'twas destiny that stole its youth,
Autumn was never privy to the truth,
grown barren by He who weaves,
too early for snow, too late for leaves.
Oft it wore a counterfeit smile,
imploring the bounties of Summer wild,
to allay its advance from green to brown,
before its final journey to the ground.
Promises of slow demise never kept,
as red Autumn shed, she plaintively wept,
till Winter perplexed queried,
why Fall was so wanton-wearied?
'Willst thou then lend me snow? '
Winter alarmed at this ignoble show,
stripped off Autumn's remaining bower,
she lay undressed, like a jilted lover.
Yet 'ere His Worship, tipped the Horn
fruits ripened unafraid of being summer born,
Earth bloomed into corn's ears,
Rain fell to soothe the season's fears.
Still today we hear the Horn play,
in its music we see the well-fed sway,
and sleep 'neath a mellow Sun over field,
amidst once vagrant, now fragrant Autumn yield.

The Ape
Blue seas red summers
Long years in slumber
Deaf ears hear thunder
Dump lips speak wonders
Red eyes burning through the night
Giant wings rise up in flight
On the dark earth choked with life
Natures creature stands upright
See the beast upon the land
Kneeling in the burning sand
And his heart beats in his hand
Dead seas long summers
Lost years in slumber
Blind eyes seek wonders
Old hearts beat thunder

Autumn of My Youth
In autumn of my youth
I see my leaves changing
I see my stars waning.
In autumn of my youth I dreamed a dream
And sought what I seemed to be
The meaning of that dream.
In autumn of my youth it was my lot
To hunt the hungry world a spot
And lay my burdens aside
In a vast field of rye so wide
In autumn of my youth it was my place
To wrap the summers in a constant embrace
Plead them not to enter
The Ashen Valley
Where dreams are broken asunder
Below grey skies.
In autumn of my youth
I see the faces of a world that awaits me.
So ghastly black and white,
Where the loss of hope defers the youth
A second sight
In autumn of my youth,
I longed to be
With the summers, one you and one me
Equally chained and equally free

Remain Ever Soulful in your Gaze
Through honesty as through opening our hearts to the song of the universe
We may achieve our potential and it is only when we hath become the
Master maker of our destiny that we may adorn the mask of true dreaming
And stare unafraid into the eye of the source.
Fey of healing waters beckon with promises of rejuvenation whilst we listen to he who watches the mountain grow. Observe the change that surrounds you in the instance. Allow the pipers their time to pipe as they herald in the dawn; allow their song to flow upon harmonies sweet softening whilst strengthening your soul, listen for the rhythm, the heartbeat of your muse, choose to seize the day, please others in your way.
Embrace the calling of Deaths hand as she stands emitting an aura of wisdom.
Embrace the calling of Deaths hand as she promises a change within your pace.
Keep the faith you’ve learnt to wear so happy upon your sleeve, keep your faith
In truth even if you doubt that you will ever know for sure the way to cure the
Blues within which you find yourself swimming. Require no proof but the ability
To question alongside the ability to agree with those who would disagree with you.
Know that honesty at times bears so bitter a bite and many would choose never to Know yet these are they who would so happily loose sense of themselves for the
Promise of a comfortable lifestyle, yet do they not realise that we hath been born
To embrace the dawn not to wallow whilst swallowing their dreams and allowing
The nightmare of consumerism to unfold, take your stand, know that love of this
Land our mother the earth will prevail, and though for centuries our kind hath been
Banished to folklore fairytales once again the world will ask questions deeper than
Can be answered by those who would wish to keep them sleeping, weep not for the State of the world and know your dream is not to lay by the fireplace curled, a sloth Throughout the day.
Remain ever soulful in your gaze; remain ever soulful throughout the haze of crazy Morning smokes. As the days go by, sigh not in crying and know that it is to dream and not to try, and that the universe shall turn circles in your favour if you desire to taste the flavour of the forbidden fruit of Eden’s promise.
Paradise Shall once more be ours to wander within, if only we could open our eyes and take in the skies for what they are; a reflection upon the soul of the world.

Who awaits the last grain to fall?
Everlasting light penetrates throughout the void
Warming the womb of our mother nature.
Expression Fey run amok amongst the flowers
Blooming in the spring their cheeks a rose complexion.
Butterfly symmetry confirms the beauty that confronts us.
We behold a garden of ecstatic wonders.
A golden summer awaits – promising growth anew.
Apollo hath foreseen a dream beyond the blue of winters dressing.
Blessed with a kiss of those golden lips I hath missed for so long.
Who awaits the last grain to fall?
Who are we to call upon?
Who are we who seek the midnight sun?
Seek your form in unification – take a vacation from your senses
Know your life anew – beyond the nightmare of grey tied veiling.
Budding anew beneath the blue that keeps my soul a-shaking
I’m reawakening – Yearning to learn once more amongst the green
All it is to live in the wonderland of dream states.
Create your day – Do it your way
Find the words so you can have you say.
What can I say that would make it seem
Like naught more than a distant dream.
We have it all yet fight amongst ourselves
Clouds ponder in perplexity
In confrontation with birds of metallic skeleton structures.

Seasons
Spring, a symbol of rebirth
Starting another season on earth
New buds open to the sun
Now the spring has begun.
Summer once again is here
Sky is wonderful blue and clear
Growths of colour on display
That's a lovely summers day.
Autumn leaves go blowing by
Lifting high up to the sky
Soon they scatter without sound
Gently cascading to the ground.
Winter comes around with branches bare
A spiders web in the suns pale glare
Frost so cold that it burns
Awaiting 'till the spring returns.
Every season a different thing
Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring
Cut the grass, shovel the snow
Or bake in the sun 'till you glow.

New For Old
Bud blisters into life
Stretching for the light
Unfolding radiant green
Upturned palm to the sun
Life seeping in, breathing out
Green, Green so Green
Resurrected hope, so Green
Summer breeze stroking
Branches ebb and flow
Leaves so Green strong now
Fear not wind of change
Mellow summer turns
Green, green, green-yellow
Yellow area of dieing heart
Green lingers no more
Limp transparent yellow
Barely a breeze takes one
Fierce Hyde-like wind now
Cracking and ripping
Wind torn leaves fall
Life chords snapped
Death too early, still Green
Nourishment broken not ended
Seasons build up to tear down
To build up, to tear down
Leaves fall, Green leaves fall
And then some more
Until leaves are falling, falling
Trees and branches revealed
In the x-ray of autumn blast
Winter is coming
Winter is coming
Yellow pale yellow carpet
Beneath the naked tree
Yellow, mulchy brown
Once crisp leaves scatter
Green, yellow, transparent veins
Tired, half dead, leaves lose their grip
Join the autumn rain soaked mound
Providing new life to the roots
Old for new, New for Old
Seeds buried in death
Bring new life in Spring
In the end is the beginning.

I’m Going West
I’m going west.
Where the snow capped mountains
reach up to the heavens
and their streams
sparkle under the warming sun.
I’m going west.
Where the wild flowers grow
and spread a coloured blanket
as far as the eye can see,
and the majestic deer run free.
I’m going west.
To God’s Garden of Eden,
a place of peace and tranquillity.
Where skies are always blue
like skies aught to be.
I’m going west.
To a land that is free
from all the hatred I see.
Where each day is filled
with wonder from dawn to dusk.
I’m going west to be me.

Danny Boy
(words & music by frederic e. weatherly)
Oh danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen and down the mountain side
The summers gone and all the roses dying
tis you, tis you must go and I must bye
But come ye back when summers in the meadow
Or when the valleys hushed and white with snow
And Ill be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh danny boy, oh danny boy I love you so
But if he come and all the roses dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
Hell come here and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an ava there for me
And I shall feel, oh soft you tread above me
And then my grave will richer, sweeter be
For you will bend and tell me that you love me
And I shall rest in peace until you come to me

October
Golden leaves decay on wet pavements,
trodden in by heavy footed, men
as they travel to work each day in the City.
Parks are covered in red and gold,
the jewels of the Autumn but we are strong
and rush on by.
Memories of warm vacations flit
through my head as I hum summer melodies,
lost in my thoughts.
The rain soaks my hair, drenches me
as I remember past Octobers
those pale blue skies on crisp, chilly mornings.
October's leaves are our flowers now,
their beauty, natures way of colouring dull times
until the ground is blanketed by snow in Mid Winter.

Even if this summer is like none before (in answer to William Shakespeare)
Even if this summer is like none before,
with its dazzling flowers and fruits, even if none
other will ever be the same as this one
summers do not cease to exist and there will be one more
even is there is something to adore
and even preserving fruit, flowers, colours and tastes life goes on
and in winter natures lies asleep and quickly it is gone
with another great summer in store
and no one is truly bereft
when winter comes with its beauty
as if stuck in a cleft
when autumn, winter and spring appears with their own serenity.
nothing in a bottle can capture life, to have its essence left;
no human is apt in ability, to such profanity.

And, Magic!
and so once again,
spring hath violated
the tomb of god,
and brought forth magic!
shadows dance,
seeds are planted.
life bursts through
the frozen casket...
light begins anew,
poets too long slumbered,
cast the webbing from their eyes,
birthing words into being.
thunderstorms, and magic.
the sun carries the hands of time.
summer dares come, wave upon wave,
poets dance naked in the moonlight.
lovers come together,
fission, and creation.
worlds are formed,
history testifies!
wine lusts for the lips,
as flesh for flesh.
the drums beat wildly,
death is but orgasm!
all too soon,
autumn aproaches.
the harvest of desire,
fires built in the night.
hair turns grey,
thoughts lose form.
leaves begin to turn,
and fall, tis magic!
and poets rhyme the turning
of the earth and the sea.
worship the shell shocked earth,
dance in the memory....
then leaves turn brown,
decay, and return.
poets lose their eyesight,
follow the beat of the heart.
the winter chill comes,
barelimbed trees offer prayers...
at the graves of the poets,
marked by fresh fallen snow.
words lost, or engraved forever,
in the coming of spring,
in darkness to light...
what else could it be...
but magic!

Changes
Seasons may change, we stay the same.
We always stay the same.
We always stay the same.
Winter brings snow, when no, no flowers grow.
They wait for the spring.
Yes, they wait til the spring.
In the spring, young men grow.
til theyre old enough to know,
Better.
Better.
Leaves have turned green, now spring has been
And gone
Summers here.
The autumn trees swing to and fro.
Their leaves turn brown,
Now young men know
Better.
Better.
[just let me listen to that.]
Evryone one feels good
And I knew they would.
Its been quite a good year.
Its been quite a good year.
Its been quite a good year.

Summers Gone
Looking in a window on a rainy day.
Thinking about good things that I just threw away.
Looking in the gutter, watching the trash go flowing by.
Thinking its summer, but there are only clouds in the sky.
When I think about what we wasted, makes me sad,
We never appreciated what we had.
Now Im standing in a doorway with my overcoat on,
It really feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
It should have been a laugh, it should have been fun,
When I think of all the things that we did last summer.
Now I look back, it seems such a crime,
We couldnt appreciate it at the time.
Now Im standing in a doorway, thinking of summers gone by.
It ought to make me happy, but it just makes me want to cry.
I was riding in the car with my mum and dad,
He was drivin the car, the kids were drivin him mad.
Dad looked at us, then he looked at his wife,
He must have wondered where we all came from.
And then mum said, dad, you know it wont last for long,
Before you know it, summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
I really blew it all, when I think it through,
I really lost it all when I lost you.
Now Im standing in a doorway with water in my shoes,
It really feels like, feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
Summers gone, so alone.
Summers gone.

The Adopted Child
'Why wouldst thou leave me, oh! gentle child?
Thy home on the mountain is bleak and wild,
A straw-roof'd cabin, with lowly wall“
Mine is a fair and a pillar'd hall,
Where many an image of marble gleams,
And the sunshine of picture for ever streams.'
'Oh! green is the turf where my brothers play,
Thro' the long bright hours of the summer-day;
They find the red cup-moss where they climb,
And they chase the bee o'er the scented thyme,
And the rocks where the heath-flower blooms they know“
Lady, kind lady! oh! let me go.'
'Content thee, boy! in my bower to dwell,
Here are sweet sounds which thou lovest well;
Flutes on the air in the stilly noon,
Harps which the wandering breezes tune;
And the silvery wood-note of many a bird,
Whose voice was ne'er in thy mountains heard.'
'Oh! my mother sings, at the twilight's fall,
A song of the hills far more sweet than all;
She sings it under our own green tree,
To the babe half slumb'ring on her knee;
I dreamt last night of that music low“
Lady, kind lady! oh! let me go.'
'Thy mother is gone from her cares to rest,
She hath taken the babe on her quiet breast;
Thou would'st meet her footstep, my boy, no more,
Nor hear her song at the cabin door.
Come thou with me to the vineyards nigh,
And we'll pluck the grapes of the richest dye.'
'Is my mother gone from her home away?“
But I know that my brothers are there at play.
I know they are gathering the foxglove's bell,
Or the long fern-leaves by the sparkling well;
Or they launch their boats where the bright streams flow,“
Lady, kind lady! oh! let me go.'
'Fair child, thy brothers are wanderers now,
They sport no more on the mountain's brow,
They have left the fern by the spring's green side,
And the streams where the fairy barks were tried.
Be thou at peace in thy brighter lot,
For thy cabin-home is a lonely spot.'
'Are they gone, all gone from the sunny hill?“
But the bird and the blue-fly rove o'er it still;
And the red-deer bound in their gladness free,
And the heath is bent by the singing bee,
And the waters leap, and the fresh winds blow,“
Lady, kind lady! oh! let me go.'
