Profanities, obscenities, with insanity beckoning us in the night
I don’t get any time to call my own,
I Don’t get any peace so far from home
And I've got a feeling I won’t get find any pleasure
Seeking hidden treasures
In the nightmares of this town.
Dreams upon the horizon lie out of reach for a while
Sit back with a smile, blaze away the days. Up in smoke
Let the tokers joke, let them try and catch the breeze,
It’s not as easy as they’d have you believe.
Trying to conceive some shattered form of reality,
It makes no sense to me.
Peering into the distance growing between our forms,
Into the eye of the sun
And down on my knees before you now
Your turning me away.
Ride a wave of passion until you crash upon the shore
What more could you ask for
Than eternal bliss
This you’ve got to ask yourself
Would you miss the blues
Would you be able to see it though with nothing to compare your happiness to?
What is there that lays beyond our reach,
High up in the skies?
Pondering as bloodshot eyes keep me hiding from the dawn,
The light of day can ease my troubles; take away the pain by morning due,
As we watch the rain dance upon the pavement
You look at me, I look at you
Tomorrow never knows
What dreams lay unwoven, untold.
Let the page turn, the story unfold.
Come let’s get together, one more time to see it though.
Another way to blue and back again for you my friend.
Before the rain can reflect the rainbow lost in an instant.
As we find ourselves passing on by the days wishing away the hours,
You’ll have no one to blame when the final grain has rested in its place
Or so they say just never to my face.
Will you hold on to faith as the void beckons you to burning point?
Suppress the memories that keep you sane
Unleash the daemon; tear away this veil draped upon this reality of yours
Into nightshade, shadows play
As angels dance the streets by day

The answers so hard to find when the question lies unset.
What meaning is there to be found, if not appreciation of the will to question.

What is it that stands between us?
Back again to see the day,
To see through skies another way.
Through pastel shades we fade away
Blissful in the night.
What it is I’ve done
Where did I go wrong?
Maybe there’s nothing more to this,
Maybe it won’t last long
This happiness I’m feeling.
Dazed, blazed confused, you know, crazed.
Ripped. Torn. Worn out at the seams.
Coming apart, slowly but surely we fall in endless dreams
And close our eyes we drift into the night
And everything’s o.k. for a little while, everything’s alright.
You know you can come back with me now
To way back when
We’d sit around in uniform and maybe then

To scared to face the daemons that awaited us in the day realm.

Ask 2: Take your place in the tapestry of life.
It only happens once, play your part, as best you can
Who can ask anymore of you than that you tried, failed still
its no surprise to me that they would always hold us down.
Get your head out of the clouds, you’d hear them say,
Then running circles shadow play.
A return to the elemental, a state of calm,
Slip in lucid tides, hide away behind a wave of passion,
Ride the wheel, turn back the tides,
Tell me how you feel is this reality for you,
I don’t know what it is no more.
Open up the doors of perception, clear the mind of impurities,
Drift away in placid calms, I wont do you know harm babe,

Alas she no longer bears her heart upon my sleeve.

Alas the leaves of summer no longer weave the melodies
Of yesteryear. I remember a time, a place far beyond the
Horizon, a wonder world of waterfalls.
Now, lost in an underworld of catacombs
I find myself searching for the ghost of memories fading, calling.
A thousands dreams of ether bore children forth from wine.
A single word from Rumour casts a shiver down the vine.
Spreads word as pestilence upon the mother of all
A mother that was once mine, beyond the skies of winter herald.
Beyond the emblem of the moon wallowing upon the blanket
Shallow in the sky.
Awake it's morning, a new day is dawning,
I feel like smoking away the blues.

Bluer in a deeper shade
All it is I can do is fade

Shadows Fall
Shadows had been casted way back when, but the light will be there till the end
Misery is not in sight, for the future brings a stronger light
The light of thee and the light of thou, skeptics question why...what....how
It's the fuel that drives this flame, nothing but love no one to blame
Friendship at hand and at the side, only the bad man will run and hide
Times our tough and rough this is true, no more pain in the rain that's all but blue

Reflections Waltz
Let your hair down, loosen the grip,
Take it at your own pace.
Dropping down, without a frown
It seems all I am a soul of a clown
Confined within the boundaries of a fool.
Always one more time, just to see it through,
When will it grow old, or will it keep growing old with you.
Let the people know the world they fear is no charade
There’s dogs that walk the streets with shining plastic smiles,
Girls upon parade, fade into the shadows,
still temptation takes hold.
Here I lay complacent,
Displaced from my form.
Take me to another plain,
So I can grow and be reborn.
Soon the realization
That every single day is simply passing
By us in another simple way.

Above the drink, the paling moon,

Dark Circles
Never have I seen anything so clear and promising
As the landscape rolling before my eyes at this moment
Now I see that there is a force I must stop resisting
The readiness to rebuild is becoming more potent
The ashes of what used to be play in the dry wind
And I see a beautiful vision that looks so kind
Dark circles made of ash dance in the air around me
I begin to dance in the beautiful storm and I smile
Why is it that I laugh when there is no light to see?
Why do I dance when I will soon face a testing trial?
There is something exciting and humbling in darkness
From this darkness I will soon find a new grand happiness
In my heart I am feeling the new life. I feel paralyzing
In my mind I am prepared to rebuild. Nothing now stops me
I can feel that soon I will be on top and I’ll be blazing
I can feel that soon I will be revered and I’ll be free
So, why not dance with the swirls of ash so black and dry?
I would rather dance now then continue to hopelessly cry
Dark circles cover me from head to toe!
Dark circles decorate the dead landscape!
Dark circles are flying so high, like my hero!
Dark circles lead me to a grand escape!
Dark circles wrap around me and we fly!

All the ashes mold and form into black angels in the air
They reach out and take my hands and we run
Dark circles cover my eyes and dance through my hair
Dark figures lead me through the darkness to the sun
And in the end of the darkness I see a shining light!

Dark circles dance around me in celebration of a new birth
They fly high and fall down to create a wind so strong
My face is covered with colors from the burned earth
I do not look like a man. I look like a creature of wrong
I smile and I realize that this is my new territory
Dark circles form a new black castle free of any tragedy!
Dark ashes line the air and the skies!
Dark circles swirl through the land!
Dark circles vibrate with my joyful cries!
Dark circles run along my porcelain hand!

Libby, well meet in paris
Dance along the boulevards
And have no one to embarrass,
Puttin on the ritz in style
With an arab and an heiress,
Libby well fly away - hey
Leave behind our blues
Trade them all in
For a paris breeze.

I Don’t Know Where Our Faith Was Lost
I don’t know where our faith was lost,
Be it white sands or porcelain desert frost.
An eternity awaits our
Happiness in leaps and bounds.
As the future lies unfounded
Our heads upon the ground
Can you help me now?
When I don’t know if I need any help at all.
Whisper softly in the night,
No regrets, forget your way to blue as
The alarm sounds,
As unheard of daemons stalk this land of nightmares.
Would you walk the path of freedom, or sell your soul to conform
It lies within the palm of your hand
The wisdom, the knowledge that you seek.
Come a little closer now, close your eyes,
let your consciousness go, flow with the music.
why must we taint the day in sombre tides,
In floods of tears the senses flare,
Tiptoe in the shadows, seeking solace,
Running from the sun.

The Essence of my Dreams
Losing myself in flight on an early summer's morning-
In flight, unaware of the direction-
Unaware of the time of day, I know that
I don't believe in heaven anymore-
In flight above deep blue mountains-
But not weary of the sun's rays attacking me-
Never touching the sun and
Never finding my rainbow,
A myriad of colors are painting the sky-
Though only inside the world of my imagination.
Losing myself in flight and wondering-
If I will ever find safety and peace of mind here in the sky,
Amongst the scattered clouds that surround me-
I could hide behind a cloud to escape reality-
Reality that has become none but a threat to my existence.
Within the figment of my imagination-
I have wings that carry me high above the mountains,
Above the treetops and the ocean turning green as
Its waves lap against the shore-
A multitude of colors are decorating the land below-
Trees are never green but violet in their hue and
That ocean- green but never blue as are the mountains-
In flight I am losing myself in so many different ways-
Separating myself from the world into which I was born-
My mind is creating visions of far away places and
Inside the fortress of my mind, God has given me wings to fly with,
Although I do not believe in heaven-
Within moments I find myself lying upon the ground-
The sky, cloud covered as rain begins to pour down upon me-
I am a lost, lone, and confused spirit-
Threatened by sounds of cars speeding up and down the road behind me-
And people shouting while thunder claps and lightening strikes.
Voices inside of mind are commanding me
To lift my wings and take flight once again-
However I am trapped, being unable to fly, my wings having been phantasmal-
Though inside my dreams I can swim the ocean, searching for safety and familiarity-
Perhaps I shall find myself an island amongst the sea-
But alas only in my dreams-
And perhaps the rain shall stop falling and a rainbow shall rise above the mountains-
Inside the world of my thoughts I shall paint the sky blue and cloudless,
Lift my wings and soar back into the sky and look down-
Down at this world where I have always wished to escape from-
Happiness shall be found within the world of my imagination-
Violet hued trees - their branches swaying in the wind
May someday give me shade as I close my eyes and dream,
Then I shall burst into song, in chorus with the voices inside my mind-
I have peace of mind now knowing I can be anyplace I can fathom-
Because I am a person who though never believed in heaven-
Strongly believes in the essence of my dreams…

Circles
Circles, my head is going round in circles
My mind is caught up in a whirlpool, draggin me down.
Time will tell if Ill take the homeward track
Dizziness will make my feet walk back, walk right back to you.
Everything I do, I think of you
No matter how I try, I cant get back
These circles, leading me back to you
Round and around and around and a...
Round and round like a fool I go
Down and down in the pool I go
Draggin me down
Just one thing could kill the pain of losin you
But it gets me so dizzy that Im walkin right back again
Back to you
Time will tell if these dreams are near his plan
Though I left Im comin back
