Grandma Sang A Special
Grandma sang a special in Montgomery
In the church where her youngest preached the word
He turned the tape recorder on and caught it
And still today, my Grandma can be heard
Grandma sang “I know who holds tomorrow”
And she sang it loud for everyone to hear
Today my Grandma’s singing it for Jesus
‘Cause he held a place for her in heaven’s choir
Grandma sang a special in Montgomery
And every time I hear that tape today
If I shut my eyes and listen to it closely
It seems like she is right here in this place

Waiting For Tomorrow
Today is gone with my hopes
Tomorrow I wait for what comes.
If yesterday is history
And tomorrow mystery
I have today only as mine.
But I still wait for tomorrow,
For yesterday is gone with my hopes.
O' home, sweet home of mine!
I have missed for twenty years
If they can feel my tears;
My pains and my bleeding heart.
Time has failed me

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong
Yesterday I hate things that hurt me
Today I shall change things under my control
Tomorrow I shall do more that I can envisioned
Yesterday I had past my youth era
Today I am wiser than yesterday
Tomorrow I will become a legend because I dare to dream big
Happy are those whom appreciated what yesterday had brought
Happy are those whom plan for things to do today
For tomorrow what might bring us is eternal happiness and peace

The Crucifixion
The hour came, the signs were clear, the day of days approached!
Would He be loved, esteemed, held dear, or would He be reproached?
The one He loved just turned away, until He stood alone!
Alone with only words to pray... yet God seemed cold as stone!
The one He loved was nowhere now... the day turned black as night!
Tomorrow what would God allow? His face was ashen white!
'They just don't care, it seems to Me! I'm left here on the shelf!
Nobody cares of what's to be! ' He whispered to Himself.
It didn't matter that He loved and sought the highest path!
Along the way, both shamed and shoved, this made the demons laugh!
He sighed the longest sigh love knew! Most didn't give a damn!
Yet after all life put Him through, He stayed the patient lamb...
A silence swept His very soul, immortal though it was
And yet He gave up all control, ascending to His Cross!
The trial of trials had just begun... His soul felt no reward.
He chose to love till life was done... His broken heart outpoured...
Once nailed by love, all Hell let loose... He knew He wouldn't live!
He suffered every ache and bruise... in love, His life to give!
When Sunday came, the world was changed! The Saviour lived anew!
Now there's no cause to be estranged, God's pardon's bought for you!

Sadness is a major theme of mine
I am sad a lot
I am not sure why -
My father was the saddest person I have ever known
Perhaps its that-
But life is sad
It has so much sadness in it-
Yesterday a very good friend of mine
Was pronounced incurably ill
So many friends of our recently
Have become very ill-
Aging brings much sadness with it-
So much sadness -
Inside I have too much joy too and peace and calm
I have those things also-
But sadness is always here or waiting to come.

Traffic lights shinning in my eyes,

Counting every dropp that fell in my palm.
The Cold breeze frozen my body

On were I can’t stand from all the pain.
That was yesterday I could still remember.

Journey To The Past
As I arise;
With my bare feet walk back slowly,
Back to where my heartaches lay;
I stride to step forward
Forward to the haunting past
Where my life is being caged
Dwelling in vague happiness
Imprisoned from failed hopes
Making my tomorrow covered with reeks
A journey to the past, my heart seeks.
Voices from nowhere, echoing;
“Be free;
Before you pursue your journey,
Let loneliness and confusions slip away,
Just be free from all your pain and sorrow.
