I want to believe
I want to believe in heaven there is a place
More comforting than a mothers heart
I want to believe there is a secure embrace
For all, when it becomes our time to part
I want to believe eternal peace, exists there
How one arrives has no consequence
I want to believe it’s full of love and care

It is planted with love of family and friends.
The memories and dreams we treasure and share
Are like beautiful roses found blooming there.
The comfort and care on which we depend
Is given with love between family and friends.
The sunshine of laughter and rain of a tear
Only make our love grow with each passing year.
We may all be ourselves with no need to pretend

The King Of Heaven
On the North, the King of Heaven
Is that because the rafter was too short
And broke the prayer
The rafter that holds spheres
On which lived your spirit
No, King of the Heaven
The calligrapher’s hand didn’t make a mistake
Or the eyelids, conceived in sin, gave a birth to note
That there is no a single place in Your home anymore

Family vs. Friends
Friends come in your life as ocean waves come and go.
You friends may be there one day and be gone the next.
Family is like blood, you need it to survive and it will always be there.
Family is there the day you are born and will be until the day you die.
Friends may be there for the short term, it is your family that will
remain by your side.
Always put your family first, friends should go second.
Family will be there to support you and catch you when you fall.
Friends may be good to talk to when you are feeling down,
but they might not be there when you need someone the most.

Mary
Oh mary wasnt happy with the life that she led
She was a simple girl without much to say
So one day she just upped and left her dreary home
And she left all her friends behind to wander all alone
And at first she was afraid, she was so far away
From her home but slowly she got to like it anyway
Oh mary wont you please come...
Well in time she found that
The mountain that she had been taught
Her whole life, that she must avoid
And though at first it hurt, and no one could comfort her
She finally came to appreciate it
And she like it, she like it - oh wasnt she surprised
And though still alone, she grew so much inside
Oh mary wont you please come...
And after a time, she became so sublime
She could look in peoples eyes and read their minds
Though her hands would sometimes bleed and occasionally
She would long for her past and the memories they bring
She decided to return to her old home town
And her heart was burning with all the things she found

So, mary came back and at first no one recognized her face
And her friends were all a little bit afraid
When they heard what she had to say
They all slowly backed away
And her family took her aside and put their arms around her

There is still time to repent for all your sins

I lost my virginity in old Mexico
My lover was was nothing more than a lovely soul to me
She was a beauty to me
Love was not free
I think of that time
In nineteen sixty nine.
Then in Japan I walked through the streets
And found love again
It is no sin
It was nineteen seventy

I wanted more and married
A beautiful puerto rican lover of life
I made her my wife.
My family never came to the wedding

I was talking to barry who says theres a change in the air
Hes just found a magic kite that can fly him anywhere
He leans on his window as the trash daytime radio plays
Hes got all the shelter he needs, and heaven gets closer everyday
I got a postcard from mandy; the farmers are bringing in the hay

We dont think too much about a crisis in the west
Because it couldnt happen here again and anyway; all men are equally blessed
