Through the Glass
Why do i bother to open my eye?
When all i can do is sigh
never properly introduced
I do not know you and yet i feel seduced
that smile, and those clothes, the promise of something more
the promise of true love like that of childish lore
that flower in your hair
i cant help but stare
I'm not superficial I see something inside you
but you'll never know just who
who i am and who i hide
I'll just keep looking through the glass as from another world
you can't touch me
and you can't see
the man that i am
all i can do is just look at your through the glass
maybe one day our worlds will collide
one day i won't have to hide
but until then just keep that flower in your hair
until one day i dare
to break this glass, but at what cost? and is it even possible?

Worlds Apart
somewhere behind the wall an the glass, my barrier
I can still see her
it's not just the physical distance
it's the invisible wall of my circumstance
I can't talk to you, not just because you're not here
but because you could never hear
with open ears and understand why
and now you can never know me
because I've hidden from you, m all you may do is sigh
and wonder if I; m something more, but never see
now we're worlds apart and e can't talk
I can't speak to you through the glass
I cannot show who I am or how I feel
never to you, not to you, not to who I cherish, not the one i hold dear
not one i trust and want to hold near
can never tell the one who ought to know it all
never tell the one who could break the wall
no. not you, because i need this wall
it keeps me in, but protects me from the love we could share
HAHA who can i kid? i would never even dare
profess to you, because the assurance of a negative response is my
reason. And now we're worlds apart
you stay in yours and ill stay in mine..... I pray you find Jesus
but i am too weak to lead you, I'd get caught up in feelings and love
i wish i could give you my heart
but its not time stay in your world, and strengthen the glass
not to worry, you won't love me, because you won't know me im in another world

Glass war, glass war, glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war
It's a glass war
Cause you can see right through the poisen
It's a glass war
Cause we all know the activeties
It's a glass war
Cause it's made of smoke and mirrors
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
Cause only poor men are dyin in the
Gas war
Cause we know why it was started
It's an ass war
Cause the president's an asshole
It's an ass war
It's a glass war
It's a gas war
Cause the starters are all victims of the
Glass war
The slogan men were starters of the
Last war
Now the southern men are starters of the
Glass war
It's a Glass War
It's a Glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
It's a glass war

Breaking Glass
Someone told me youre never gonna win
Fools paradise is where Ive always been
So I told myself Ive got a heart of stone
Not that strong I said, cant do it all alone
Tell me your dreams and Ill tell you what they mean
Cos we live, we love, we learn
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
Loving me through your window panes
But I can reach you
I can see you
Trying to hide your love away
We can be breaking glass together
Someone told me, you gotta let it go
A little weakness is strength dont ya know
So I tell myself feelin left today
I wont lose to the pain of yesterday
Tell me your dreams and Ill tell you what they mean
Cos we live, we love, we learn
(cos we live, we love, we learn)
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
Loving me through your window panes
But I can reach you
I can see you
Trying to hide your love away
We can be breaking glass together
(together, together)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
I love the sound of breaking glass
(I love the sound of breaking glass)
You cant touch me
You cant hold me
I can reach you
I can see you

Piece of Glass
If you say I do not do enough...
I do not do enough...
Love is Just like a piece of glass, baby I might break, I might break
Love is just like a piece of glass, baby it might break, it might break....
I can't do much more..... It so much work to be in love with you.....
Can you say I am not doing enough, I only have so much strength..
Stop pushing me to the test....
I just may break, baby I just may break....
I keep feeling the weight of the world....
Trying to carry all the pain...
Oh baby I just may break, holding on to this pain....
If you say I do not do enough...
I do not do enough...
Love is Just like a piece of glass, baby I might break, I might break
Love is just like a piece of glass, baby it might break, it might break....
I can't do much more..... It so much work to be in love with you.....
Evey day is a trying time, fighting to keep our love in line...
Baby I am going to break, One day I am going to break...
Please do not play these foolish games.... Polish my heart and keep me safe...............
Love is Just like a piece of glass, baby it might break, Baby I might break
Love is just like a glass, baby I might break, Baby I might break....

I Wish I Have A Mouth That Knows How To Speak My Love
i wish i have this kind of mouth that knows to speak
about my love
one that opens so easily and dashes with words like
you know i love you, tell me, do you love me too?
a candid mouth, like a shrew who gambles with words and
will not mind losing
a mouth who kisses your mouth without
shame and if shamed because you slap it
does not bother at all,
one who says, why hide love, why not pour love like a
strong wine to a chalice and let it warm
the glass and let the glass
be nothing but a glass
one that does not mind at all, one that loves and if not loved in
return takes the other possibilities
without regrets
or pain,
the mouth that i have is closed and will not open
afraid
i have kept the words
i love you only for you
like a worm inside my tongue,
wriggling
turning into a little butterfly
that never had the chance to see what is outside
and feel the freedom of air,
yesterday
it died and i keep it for the whole night
now, i spit it out
and my mouth closed again
eating only silence
while you just watch there
asking me
and i said there is nothing to worry
nothing at all
i just don't feel anything and there is nothing
worth saying, i look at you as you go, i hold only to your shadow
and you will never never never know,

When Two Worlds Collide
(murray, bayley, harris )
My telescope looks out
Into the stars tonight
A little speck of light
Seems twice the size tonight
The calculations are so fine
Can it be growing all the time?
Now I cant believe its true
And I dont know what to do
For the hundredth time
I check the declination
Now the fear starts to grow
Even my computer shows
There are no errors in the calculations
Now its happened take no other view
Collision course, you must believe its true
Now theres nothing left that we can do
When two worlds collide
The anger and the pain
Of all those who remain
Two worlds collide
Who will be left alive
No place to hide
When two worlds collide
The anger, the pain
Of those who remain
When two worlds collide
When two worlds collide
So who will survive
Theres no place to hide
When two worlds collide

The Chornicles of a Dark Heart Part 11 Glass Prison
safety glass... I'd say the worst invention ever...
making it was such a pointless endeavor
but its too late now, now I'm trapped... cursed to look outside...
outside my glass prison, and wallow in the pain and lies
love withheld will kill me if I don't do it, for i cannot break
break this glass, not even with a hammer, this prison is no fake
its the real deal and I'm trapped in this glass... o it hurts it hurts now
People look at me, see the misery, the stereotype they wonder how?
how did this happen, haha where's his god today
He's right here I yell while trapped, but they scoff he not here hes away
what do I really believe? NO.... no... hes always there
he will get me through this... though i might lose my hair
lose......lose.... lose it on the rope tied taught...

from C.A.
bloomingbirds fall from this tree
where flower seasons pass
sweetlip & petalwing now
slain upon the grass
frost & glass
frost & broken glass
barefoot on the splinters of your heart
of frost & glass
loveblind & rippingyarns
a-slither on the vine
Snowking, with your thorny eyes
my happiness conspires
frost & glass
frost & broken glass
barefoot on the splinters of your heart
of frost & glass

June to July
For Junealice Pardo-Vela passed July 4th 2010**
Without the turning of a month I remained a beautiful flower
My vase of narrow glass of narrow food and narrow light
This-too-shall-passing under a sun with slight movement
Slight lines slight light through an open shudder fell
Across a counter until I was only bright in places
And in others cast in shadow where my blossom’s edge began to fall away
But by the light of your window I held myself as straight as tall hiding petals as they fell within the glass
I was bright and smiled and you passed me
While I only hoped you were not afraid
But days do pass and inevitable seeds that flower in inevitable spring are picked and taken away to sit in windows in June
Even before July they start to set like the sun and by July the heat pushes down on them so hard that all they wilt can no longer be hidden
And it is then that you do see me
As sure as you see where I once was
For it is July and I have come to fall away
In the light of your window you see the space where I should be
Keep finding each little petal that I had hid in the glass
I was bright and I smiled as you passed me
In July I am brighter and I smile as I pass away
June has come and she has gone
Within the turning of a month I remain a flower
A beautiful flower without vase or narrow glass or food or narrow light or shuddering or pain or falling down to hide
I pass with the sun
Bright light now shining through a larger window
And I only hope that you are not afraid

We Are Glass
We are young we can break
Watch us fall
We can take some train
Down to the sea
We are glass, we are glass
We are real you can touch
Just for now
And then say
hey you, which way is down
We are glass, we are glass
We are strong we run though
We have time
And to you Im just
One of those boys
We are glass, we are glass
We are cold
Were not supposed to cry
But its all just a thought
So here am i
We are glass, we are glass
They run fast
Impressions of the floors inviting
Stay with me, stay with me
They run past
With telephones they scream
Well would you turn all this down
Turn all this down
You are replaced you are you
And our dreams are real
And dreams are all we need
We are glass, we are glass
We slip down
And old eyes dont cry for me
Cause I doubt Im and I doubt you
And never never going to doubt
We are glass, we are glass
They run fast
Impressions of the floors inviting
Stay with me, stay with me
They run past
With telephones they scream
Well would you turn all this down
Turn all this down

Nursery Rhyme For A Twenty-First Birthday
You cannot see the walls that divide your hand
From his or hers or mine when you think you touch it.
You cannot see the walls because they are glass,
And glass is nothing until you try to pass it.
Beat on it if you like, but not too hard,
For glass will break you even while you break it.
Shout, and the sound will be broken and driven backwards,
For glass, though clear as water, is deaf as granite.
This fraudulent inhibition is cunning: wise men
Content themselves with breathing patterns on it.

Glass Shatters
The glass has a flimsiness, frailty of course,
Do not deceive me with fraudulence or fraud.
Glass shatters from impulses,
Glass has love for the actions,
This glass I hold and dropp reminds.
The frantic wept, as no other weeper,
The fraternity has evaporated,
Never the escapade of shattering glass
Has gone by without returning,
And so the glass has an escapade.

Broken Glass
Life is like glass in so many ways.
Keep it shiny and unbroken all through the days.
Glass can be new.
Glass can be old.
It doesn't matter whats told.
Every piece of glass can shine like gold.
Sometimes glass is shiny.
Some can be plain.
It's all-unique show your true style.
You have nothing to lose and all to gain.
Enjoy the sparkle of the glass because once its broken you can never piece it back.

An Almost Broken Glass Bottle
For a while now I've been afraid to say or show how I feel, so instead I go around telling people I'm tough, pretending to be made of steel
All of my feelings I shoved into a bottle made of glass, and as I shoved this glass bottle inside myself I prayed these feelings wouldn't last
The more of my feelings I shoved into it the fuller my glass bottle got, the only problem is once I started to shove all my feeling into it, I didn't know how to stop
Even if you were to ask me if I was okay I'd put on a smile and say I'm fine, even though deep down inside I know I'm lying
So here we are present day and despite my efforts to stop it, my glass bottle and I have started to crack and I know any minute now both of us are going to snap
No matter how much I wish it wasn't so, no matter how much all together I wish my glass bottle and I would stay, I know deep down that my almost broken glass bottle is any second gonna give way

I Cant Hide
I got a secret
Its here in my heart
And I cant even tell my friends.
How much I adore you
Im fallin apart
I got to kept it deep within.
The way that I love you
I cant even say I promise not to
Tell a soul
It wont last too long, a feeling so strong
And I cant hide the way.
(chorus)
I cant hide the way Im feeling inside
The pain is killing me
Cause I want to let the world know
Its you Im lovin
I cant hide the way Im feeling inside
The pain is killin me
Cause I want to let the world know its you Im lovin.
Its something so special, this thing that we share
So why cant we just let it go
Its easy to see
Can they know that we should be as one.
Its out in the open
Our cover is blown and I dont care who really knows
I need to be with you
Cant take it no more, cause baby I need you.
(bridge)
Lovin you feels so right,(lovin you feels so right)
I dont want to have to live a lie ( I dont want to lie)
The way you touch, the way you kiss drives me out of my mind
(Ill never love)
Boy Ive never loved this way before baby
So Ive given you the keys to my door
With every touch I want you more
Dont want to let my feelings show
I cant hide.
Chorus
Im not afraid to let my feelings show
I cant hide them no more (no more)
Cause no matter what they say
Its never gone to change the way that I feel for you
Cause boy I love (I love you )
Repeat chorus

A Glass Of Water Please
and so the story wants to end itself with a
glass of water.
those who cry after always need
a glass of water.
those whose hearts are broken
those who sob
those who close the window of the niche
those who have nightmares
those who wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning
those who sit on bed and cannot sleep back
always go to the kitchen
open the refrigerator
get a glass and splash
a cold glass of water
this time, i am asking for a glass of water
for i could be
all of the above or you could be one of those
i have described
but who knows we are not one of those
who knows
we are but just anyone who is normally thirsty
and with nothing to ask
simply ask
for a glass of cold water.
and cheerfully, we do not forget to say
please....

Flower or Glass of Water
If you have a gun and hurt someone in America,
you gain fame and notoriety,
they may make a movie about you called
the adventures of Bonnie and Clyde;
If you give someone a flower or glass of water
you will be overlooked like a dusty book
on a library shelf;
give someone a flower or glass of water, nonetheless,
it is a kindness that can transform the world.

The Hidden I
I hide my eyes behind dark glass
Paint weird colors on my hair
Day and night with a painter’s brush
I try if I can catch a stare!
I want to be noticed, I want to be seen
I want to rise high
I want to be admired, I’m so keen
To be a star among stars of the sky!
All those layers of colored grease
Give me a space to hide
The hidden ‘I’ say, ‘Love me please,
Take me for a trail blazing ride’!
I want to be noticed, I want to be heard
But who the hell is that ‘I’?
I’m still on the lookout and I’ve grave doubt
If ever I shall know it, if ever afore I die!

Made Of Glass
She's made of glass
She brakes
With a every shake she takes
With every breath you make
She's like a butterfly
With the miles and miles
She travels for long whiles
But if you touch a wing
She'll break something
She's like a withering flower
Barely making the hour
Petals the once bright
Fly off by the night
But remember
She's surrender
She's given you a part
Don't brake
Her fragile glass heart
