The Memory of Me: Poetry Revived
Light the night... ah a line that speak of refulgence
like a star shining brightly with effulgence
one caitiff look to end it all
one more time I inveigh and fall
how fey, next to the blood stained hall
has a murder occurred or suicide?
suppression
classic case of depression
fatality and
frailty
so fragile
the pseuedocidephile: the iconoclast
this life how long will it last
classic poem classic rhyme
classic death time
back to old way
how fey
(Wow This is something i am really saved from sometimes what i write scares me because i was do dumb before Christ saved me i am glad this is no longer true)

Men In Black
You believe it (you better)
I got their number
Classic camcorder
I saw everything
Dinner plate specials
The shapes of cucumber
Im going to the papers
I am going to sing
In the cool, cool night
And in the middle of the day
Im watching my back
Im waiting my visitation
From the men in black
Are they grey or is it my own nation?
Its been a good year
Its been a good summer
I wait for the door or that phone to ring
Our little race
I dont want to fall
So just in case
I made you a copy
And I put it in the mail
You believe it
I got their number
Classic camcorder
I saw everything

Adam Levine and I remade the Rolling Stones' classic Wild Horses, and it is right up my alley, that whole style. It has a style of its own but still stays very true to the classic arrangement, and I love it.

Saved
I was blinded by the devil,
Born already ruined,
Stone-cold dead
As I stepped out of the womb.
By his grace I have been touched,
By his word I have been healed,
By his hand Ive been delivered,
By his spirit Ive been sealed.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad,
Im so glad,
So glad,
I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.
By his truth I can be upright,
By his strength I do endure,
By his power Ive been lifted,
In his love I am secure.
He bought me with a price,
Freed me from the pit,
Full of emptiness and wrath
And the fire that burns in it.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad,
Im so glad,
So glad,
I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.
Nobody to rescue me,
Nobody would dare,
I was going down for the last time,
But by his mercy Ive been spared.
Not by works,
But by faith in him who called,
For so long Ive been hindered,
For so long Ive been stalled.
Ive been saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved
By the blood of the lamb,
Saved,
Saved,
And Im so glad.
Yes, Im so glad, Im so glad,
So glad, I want to thank you, lord,
I just want to thank you, lord,
Thank you, lord.

A Fate of Top Poems!
Past poets were remarkable by their poems only;
But present poets are made remarkable by others!
Poetry of the past are no doubt top poems ever;
But poetry of the top are not listed in top poems!
Becoming top poets how can theirs have no place
Among the top poems of the poetry list? I wonder!
Touch stone of the top poems depends on merit
But not by the supports of friends for fun ever!
Poems of lasting value only can become classic;
But poems of no merit also have become classic!
Poetry of the past are romantic and also classic
But poetry of the present are neither but modern!
What is the yardstick to select poems as top ones -
Just support of some but not merit and meaning?

Loving all those mistakes
all the alls the extra s
mistake in tenses
how i so strangely love them
in all my poems
they make my poems
come alive
alive with a human touch
the missed s,
the extra f
a classic touch they give
to my poems
as if they are work of old
weather beaten
socrates' laws
on stones
the T turing into I
shakespeare's misspelt lady macbetf
dickens' forgotten ghot
wordsworth extra clouds
i love all the mispelt words
in a classic way
the rawness my poem run
over the computer
into a world that has
given up
up pen and ink
for the written words
the human touch
of old time poetry
that runs fluid as
the blood in my veins
i love all the human touch
in my poem
all the mispelt words
i love each missed s,
each extra f
i missed too
the pen and ink

Classic Love
Our love is classic it flow
right through our vein then
find it place in our brain, it
intoxicate us. Sweeter than
honey, stronger than wine.
Planted on trust, devotion and
care, so high that they can't
touch us.Bound together like
butterflies in erotic scene,
precious as music, fresh as
the morning dew.The word
hurt does not exist here, up
or down you stick with me
our love is priceless, it is
classic.

The Fall Of Dorian Grey
Oscar Wilde's classic tale of Dorian Grey which I felt drawn to write this poem...The I in the poem is Dorian himself. If you do not know him google his name.
THE FALL OF DORIAN GREY
Transfixed I stood back
staring at this masterpiece in oils,
Frozen unable to move
as the picture its self stillness foils,
Piece by piece cracks appear
and begin to fall all around
An eye,
a button,
a smiling mouth without a sound.
Suddenly an avalanche
like pieces of descending birds,
No beauty around my feet,
changing into a thousand words
To keep my goal..........
............................... .........I did sell my soul.

Negative Girl
Shes lost - shes late
Shes zooming on a couch somewhere
Or high - or home
Im not supposed to call her there
I wait - I smoke
I stare into my coke
Its happening again
I tell myself that its over and done, amen
Her skin - like milk
Its like shes never seen the sun
Some hearts to crunch
Is more like her idea of fun
I know - shes ill
Im cruising for a spill
Im hanging just the same
I need to be in the heat
Of her cold white flame
Chorus:
Another negative girl
At the edge of the frame
Deliciously toxic
The original classic thing - more of the same
Shes in the zone
Crying on the phone
I need you here
Im on the street again
Staggering out into the burn of the brain dead dawn
To arrive in time to find her gone
Shes on the train
To somewhere up by fordham road
Her reptile brain
Locked down and ready in combat mode
Some cash - a key
This guy she has to see
A doctor friend uptown
And maybe she gets to me when she comes back down
Chorus:
Another negative girl
Spinning out of the frame
Exquisitely limpid
The original classic thing - more of the same
A goof - a buzz
If that is what it was
Then how do you explain
The way she looks when shes
Dragging me out to dance with her
In the summer rain
Chorus:
Another negative girl
At the edge of the frame
Exhausting and luscious
The original classic thing - more of the same

The Song Sparrow
Fair little scout, that when the iron year
Changes, and the first fleecy clouds deploy,
Comest with such a sudden burst of joy,
Lifting on winter's doomed and broken rear
That song of silvery triumph blithe and clear;
Not yet quite conscious of the happy glow,
We hungered for some surer touch, and lo!
One morning we awake, and thou art here.
And thousands of frail-stemmed hepaticas,
With their crisp leaves and pure and perfect hues,
Light sleepers, ready for the golden news,
Spring at thy note beside the forest ways--
Next to thy song, the first to deck the hour--
The classic lyrist and the classic flower.

Written With Love
I’d write you poems with my tongue
An epic or a classic
That flowed as seamlessly as your curves
From head to toe
From first line to fin
I’d trace delicate lines
Hold delicate words on the tip of my being
If only it helped you see
My feelings
On tanned molecules
Your flesh
I’d scribble about skyscrapers
I’d show you fireworks
With my mouth
I’d spin a tale better than Aladdin
And his magic genie
You’d be my Princess
The world would never know what came next
We’d be that intricate
Through the muscles in your chest
Beneath your breath
Deep under the generous mounds
Of your breasts
With my mouth
I’d reach your heart
Through cartilage and bone
It’s a chance I’d take without a second thought
I wouldn’t trade the pain
From what I’ve learned
For anything in the world
Loving you was never as difficult as it seemed
Only communicating the need
For truth
But I have a million dollars in pennies
To throw in all the wells
On my way to you
And with my mouth
I’d whisper each wish to your heart
Instead of trusting the wind
Just keep tight and I’ll let my eyes guide
In the dark
Just keep tight
I’ve let my mouth mutter the words
Three monosyllable little things
That change history
With my hands I’ve held pen to paper
And written you novels
Enough works to make Shakespeare proud
Enough to make a fool out of myself
For loving a woman
Like the forefathers
Like the classic heroes
Hopelessly
But if I had a moment now
I’d only run aged fingers over you
And whisper gently
Anything else would be a crime
Anything else would be our demise
With my mouth to your chest
I’d whisper to your heart
Of something so epic
It stands without definition
Of something so classic
We all long to find it
Even when its in front of our eyes
I’d whisper the secrets of the world unknown
I’d generate a friction so sweet
It would seem a fiction
With generous lips
I’d carve an epic
A classic
Seamlessly into your heart
Like my mouth would trace your curves timelessly
If only you loved me

The Wolf
The Breath uprooted withers in the wind
Toiling within the wounds
See- it’s a classic curl, a spiral breath cloud
The wolf ‘neath is whipped
With wisps of wordless worlds
The wolf- a mountain mute memo, you-mime
A classic curl, a spiral breath cloud
The wolf- howls at the moon holes hidden in each hunt
The wolf – hears the horns and hails
An earth risen rose- to survive!
