Slowly... so slowly... colors and strange hues dot the sky
Reflected off the dirt...
Which appeared stained by a strange dye
Yet in beauty incarnate, we experience true hurt
In this paradise
Most of us feel like we're in he** with no water or ice
In a plae that looks so nice
We are tortured to do
Many physcial exercises... and mental ones too
Yet in this place resides happiness
But we could do with a less
Pain
But at least our lives have not begun to wain
I guess you could call it safe
Or safe pain numbers...sound off 1,2 sound off 3,4

Fear of losing what i want the most
i'm lost and confuse,

First ray of sun
Travels to the earth
From high skies
Light of day begins to shine

I was born and raised the only son of a lawyer
Till I was approximately the age of four or perhaps five
I lost both my mother and my father
Killed in a fire way up on the fourteenth floor
Struck down by the time I was ten by an illness
Which robbed me of the sight of the morning sun

A homeless child for the next five years
With my dog clown by my side and my only friend

I fought my way through school
Sound and touch the thing on which I could depend

Trust in man was lost today
Trust in man that is never quite regained
