Being the hot star isn’t the dream. But I can do more humanitarian work and effect more people on a larger scale. Not necessarily because I’m famous but just because, financially, I’m more capable and I have more influence. It’s an amazing place to be in.

I soon realised that what had happened on a small scale cannot necessarily be repeated on a larger scale. The stones were so big that the amount of heat required was prohibitively expensive and wasteful.

Rockstar
I don't want to be
a loser...no!...
I don't want to be
an almost was
I don't want to be a white trash
Working class chump
I don't want to be a loser anymore
That's why I want to be
a rock star
I want to be the king
I want to be on top, yeah
I just want to be a rock star
Yeah...
now I just want to be famous
I want to be the guy
That everybody wants
I want to be on TV shows
And wear designer clothes
I want a girlfriend who does
not drink beer
I want to drive a fast car
And sleep with certain
movie stars
I want to sing the songs
That all those little people
Want to hear
I just want to be a rock star
I want to be like all those
people up in first class
I just want to be a rock star
I want to tell the little people
They can kiss my ass
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to get laid
I just want to be a rock star
A different girl
For every day
That's why I want to be
a rock star
Be like all those guys
on the MTV
I just want to be a rock star
I want to make those girls on
the Real World
Fantasize about me
I just want to be a rock star
I want to be the king
I want to be on top
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to be famous
Everybody everywhere
wants to be famous
and everybody everywhere
wishes they could tell
Everybody everywhere
to go to Hell
I just want to be a rock star
I just want to get high
I just want to party like
a rock star
Until the day I die
I just want to be a rock star

Aint Necessarily So
(slow)
It aint necessarily so
No, it aint necessarily so
These things that youre liable,
To read in the bible.
No it aint necessarily so
(jammin)
You bet that you cant be wrong.
No place where you dont belong.
Theres nothin you dont know.
But it aint necessarily so
To you theres never no doubt.
Its either in or its out.
You sure put up quite a show.
But it aint necessarily so
I said hold, let your bad self go.
Hold on, caus you already know.
Its never maybe or might.
To you its black or its white.
If I say yes you say no.
But it anns necessarily so
Hold on, let your bad self go.
Hold on, cause you already know.
You think that you cant be wrong.
No place where you dont belong.
Theres nothing you dont know.
But it aint necessarily so
Aint necessarily so
Aint necessarily so
No no no no
No it aint necessarily so
No no no no
No no no no
No no no no
No it aint necessarily so.
No no no no
No it aint necessarily so.

Pop Trash Movie
(lebon, rhodes, cucurrullo)
Some close up of your pretty face
Overnight sensation
Smiling, for cameras
From all around the world
If I rewind back to yesterday
And start the tape back
No none knew who you were
But now theyre at your door
Im living in a pop trash movie
We star together in every scene
Well all be famous for just a few minutes
Part of a celluloid dream
Watching, going frame by frame
My blood, my vision
Your life went flashing by
When did it all go wrong
Im living in a pop trash movie
We star together in every scene
Well all be famous for just a few minutes
Part of a celluloid dream
Ill wait in the wings for you
Ill read your lines for you
But now the script is final
You know its time to go
So well have to say goobye
Im living in a pop trash movie
We star together in every scene
Well all be famous for just a few minutes
Part of a celluloid dream
We star in every scene
And its never quite what it seems
Never
Im living in a poptrash movie
We start to make it with that pop trash
Well all be famous for fifteen minutes
Part of a celluoid dream

Inspiration Dream
At night
When I am asleep
I dream so many things
That are inspiring
I dream of poverty ending
I dream of everyone finding work
I dream of becoming an accomplished writer
These are just a few of my inspiring dreams
I dream during storms
I dream during the day
I dream in gardens
I dream daily and nightly
Dreams are like stars
They appear and disappear
Each and every day
And everyone rich and poor
Famous and not famous
Have their own dreams
That they want to achieve
So go after your dreams
And let them inspire you

Geronimo
I'm feeling kind of wild I have burned down a house
The pleasure is mine it may be sick and may be wrong
That's why I did it all on my own
Pain in my mind is for no one to find
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm the world famous Geronimo
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm a world famous man
The world has gone mad and I'm being bad
To all the people that is feeling sad
Scalps on the wall are the trophies I've made
From all the people that stood in my way
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm the world famous Geronimo
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm a world famous man
Someone once said that I'm acting strange
That someone ain't living no more
People get scared when I'm passing by
I am the man who brings fear in Your eyes
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm the world famous Geronimo
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm a world famous man
My journey began on the day I was born
Ever since then I've been hunted by a man
With a rifle and star he may give me a scare
Someday I promise to cut of his scalp
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm the world famous Geronimo
Geronimo, Geronimo
I'm a world famous man

Living the Dream
What would it be like to live the dream
People reading my poems and knowing what they mean
What would it be like to live the dream
Every where I went people knowning who they seen
What would it be like to live the dream
Be like shakespear or someone talented I don’t even come near
What would it be like to live the dream
Without living everyday wanting to scream
What would it be like to live the dream
At only the age that I am 18
What would it be like to live the dream
Of being happy in life and working with a team
What would it be like to live the dream
Get my work out there and people would care
What would it be like to live the dream
of being famous and hearing people scream
what would it be like to live the dream
people reading my poems and knowing what they mean

Who Does Not Really Want To Write The Best Poem In The World?
yes, a five-star poem.
the one fit for first prize
awards, the one that will
make you famous
worldwide,
who does not like to
go on tv? read that famous
poem personally.
me? sorry i don't.
i am tired writing the best poem
of my life
been writing for years
i can imagine
trying to fit in
with the most famous ones
dead and alive
but i know i can never write it
because i can't
because i don't
because i do not have any reason
to write it.
i love to write.
AND that is foremost.
that is final. nothing ambitious.
nothing to change your world
or this world or that world
nothing to influence another
indonesian or turk
or swedish or
anybody or anything
what advantage do i get
when i say i just love to write
when i say i do not want to write the best poem in the world?
nothing, except the joy of having
to make the deep breath
in my life.
air that fills my lungs
and make me dream and make me sleep
longer than you do.

A Flower's Song
Star! Star, why dost thou shine
Each night upon my brow?
Why dost thou make me dream the dreams
That I am dreaming now?
Star! Star, thy home is high --
I am of humble birth;
Thy feet walk shining o'er the sky,
Mine, only on the earth.
Star! Star, why make me dream?
My dreams are all untrue;
And why is sorrow dark for me
And heaven bright for you?
Star! Star, oh, hide thy ray,
And take it off my face;
Within my lowly home I stay,
Thou, in thy lofty place.
Star! Star, and still I dream,
Along thy light afar
I seem to soar until I seem
To be, like you, a star.

I do think that earlier in my career, I did make a very conscious decision to make sure that I was doing work that wasn't necessarily given to me, and that people didn't necessarily think that I would be able to do.

Famous Fable
The famous fable,
The famous table,
The famous stable,
The famous cable,
The famous babble,
The famous gable,
The famous parable,
The famous variable
The famous sable;
But, able to crown your love with my muse!
For, you are all that i need.

Knee Deep In Their...Situations
It is amazing!
How those achieve their influence.
Some on merit.
Many by being...
A convenient nuisance!
And that has to be the reason...
Why those ceilings of incompetence,
Are crashing down all over the place.
Leaving those in their tailored silk suits...
Shrugging up their shoulders.
Not knowing what next to do!
But hey...
They do look the part!
Like someone's work of art.
And those giving them the attention,
AND titles...
Have looks of despair.
Knee deep in their...
Situations!

To be honest, I have done a lot of exciting and challenging things. However, what is the most fulfilling to me is the work that I do on a daily basis, in taking care of my patients and my experience as a medical correspondent on television. Traveling to Pakistan to cover the earthquake, helping Katrina disaster victims, and seeing so many children who were injured and homeless had a very humbling effect upon me. You realize that a lot of what we worry about in our daily lives pales in comparison to the horrors most people face in this world, and that true happiness and contentment are achieved not through fame or riches, but by the ability to impact the lives of others and to evolve as a person. My long term goals include continuing the humanitarian work about which I am passionate, continuing to work as a medical doctor, and expanding that into work as a medical correspondent.

It ain't easy to break out of a mold, but if you do your work, people will ultimately see what you're capable of. Too often, people find it easier to make assumptions and stick with what they believe. They put you in a place and it makes their job easier. The good people constantly search for something different.

I've done my best to work from a place of humility - always looking over your shoulder saying, ""Does this suck?"" and I think that's a good way to work. The other way to work is where you start to think, ""I'm on fire, I'm amazing!"" and I don't think that's the way to work.
