Mundane

The definition
Normal
Just a rendition
Of average life, boring enough to lull
You into a sleep of mediocrity
Settling for second or third best, because it's easy
Not having an opinion just being unstable and breezy
And silent like the wind... that's me
The kid that's just there and then
Then just gone, no more
Not something to abhor, but worse- unknown
Talent not shown
Intelligence, not shown
Character, not shown
Promise not shown
And stuck with mundane
Stuck without a chance to prove
Just who
I am, because of silence, because of pain
But one day I'll show them, who I am one day
In a world less fey
They'll see when silence doesn't suppress
The person inside
In that day when there's no reason to hide
But for now mundane
All my efforts in vain
But hoping for something more
Even for
Eternity

If It's Love!

It's important that unshown love,
Comes directly shown from you.
To say it...
Doesn't make,
That-love-be-true!

It's important that unshown love,
Is a thing one wants to do...
Just to prove what is said,
Is absolutely true.

A hug,
And maybe a kiss.
A touch,
That has been missed.
A show of thoughtfulness...
Can go a very long distance.

A call,
Every once in a while...
Will go further than a mile.
If love is there to be shared...
Show someone they are cared for!
And doubts will come no more.

It's important that unshown love,
Comes directly shown from you.
To say it...
Doesn't make,
That-love-be-true!

It's important it's directly shown,
If it's love.
Yes!

It's important it's directly shown,
If it's love.
Yes!

It's important it's directly shown.
It's important it's directly shown.
It's important it's directly shown,
If it's love!

It shoos a boo-hooin'...
Known.

It's important it's directly shown.
It's important it's directly shown.
It's important it's directly shown,
If it's love!

A hug,
And maybe a kiss.
A touch,
That has been missed.
A show of thoughtfulness...

Let It Be Known, Let This Be Shown

I am wild
I am crazy
But to you
I am your lady

Let this be known
Let this be shown

I am more than meets the eye
Imp not gone sit back and let the world fly
My feelings for you will never die

Let this be known
Let this be shown

Momma didn't raise any fool
I might seem bad
But I follow the rules

Let this be known
Let this be shown

My body is not your toy
I want a man not a boy
I am a woman not a little girl

Let this be known
Let this be shown

How Would I Know It

You may be sweeter than honey.
But how would I know it.
You may not trick me but treat.
But how would I know it.
You may be perfect and right.
And the spice of my life.
But...
How would I know what's not shown to me.

You may be one that I desire.
But how would I know it.
And the type that I like.
But how would I know it.
You may be one of a kind,
To take up all my time.
But...
How would I know what's not shown to me.
And how would I know what only others can see.

Show me what's unknown.
So I can come to know it.
Show me to others shown.
So I can come to know what others seem to see.

You may be sweeter than honey.
But how will I know it.
Perfect and nice and some say right.
But will I come to know what others seem to see.
And what the others see will I believe.

Stranger

Raindrops falling
Winter feels so gloomy
Hear the knock upon my door
Stranger calling
Eyes that look like mine
Said you know Ive called before
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Familiar stranger
Should I know your name
Did we meet some time ago
I feel uncertain
Shadows whisper to me now
Sudden wind begins to blow
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Darkened doorways
Strangest things can happen
Dont know who youre talking to
Find yourself
When lightning strikes you now
You could be looking back at you
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Stranger
Familiar stranger
Should I know your name
Did we meet some time ago
Are you someone I should know
Did we meet sometime ago

The Unexpected

My heart as always been an open book
I hide nothing, it's just who I am

But because of certain
Paths that I took

The unexpected
The wrong choices

I use to close my heart
To any person that tried to get close

I find it hard to share
My soul
My heart
My very being
To anyone that wants
To get close

Through my muse
I express what I feel
Through my muse
I hide no lies
Through my muse
I've learnt how to be alive
Through my muse
I've meet all of you

You have shown me how to love
You have shown me how to smile
You have shown me how to share
You have shown me how to be human
And I've learnt to be free
By just being me

With that in mind
I thank you all for just being you.
And being my friend

Those Ego Driven

'How do you know,
They have no clue...
As to what we are doing? '

Because they have shown no irritation.

'Perhaps we are dealing with,
Something we have never before encountered.'

Don't be preposterous.
Like what?
That is absurd.

'Had you considered,
They just might have the ability to think? '

Listen to me.
Those ego driven are the least to worry about.

'Assuming that's what they are.
And so far...
They have not shown that to be true.
And so far...
We have proven and shown to them,
We are.'

Not What Is Wish...But Done

Its been cold many nights.
When sleeping alone,
Is not what is wish...
But done.

Its been hard to resist.
A needing for much more,
Than an old emptiness,
To come.

I want somebody known to me,
Inside.
I want somebody shown to be,
Alive and not hide...
Away.

Its been cold many nights.
And hugging a pillow to snuggle up,
Is not right!

I want somebody known to me,
Inside.
I want somebody shown to be,
Alive and not hide...
Away.
Or play games that stay on display!

I want somebody known to me,
Inside.
I want somebody shown to be,
Alive and not hide...
Away.

Its been hard to resist.
A needing for much more,
Than an old emptiness,
To come.

An aloneness like this,
Is not what is wished...
But done.

A free action

express freely
it may not look silly
your intention of retaining
the desire for love maintaining

it has to go from your direction
reach out to the people with real affection
show it to them that it is love for peace
we all live with harmony and at ease

What may make others to wonder?
As the clouds appear with thunder
it may rain heavily with shower
touching the roots for birth of flower

Who can stop this natural process?
you are gifted with an open access
You were observing it all along
nothing can go out of hand or wrong

You may not be able to convince
they can not be compelled to show or evince
for sacred love to be shown to fellow man
it is show of eagerness that any one can

it will be too late to regret or express sorrow
it can not be left for uncertainty or tomorrow
The love has its origin from eternity
it has to be expressed and shown with fine quality

You may have solid return
sometimes you may have same turn
you are earning a praise from deprived
the long term effect can not be believed

The love and affection is not the commodity to show
it is essence of life and naturally grow
we are not used to difference of opinion
we need to appreciate if it existed in companion

There is enough room and space to fall in line
it must be shown that you really feel it fine
the time pass off within no time to come
there won't be anybody later on to welcome

Show the willingness for all kind gesture
you have seen its utility for the future
the world can be built effectively on good will
the stones should not be used with flowers to kill

It will have far reaching consequences and effect
the kindness is seen in hidden act
the love is understood by all and is common fact
it should be shown tenderly without any tact

There is no other short cut or easy option
the show of strength or wealth is ruled out of question
the simplicity is not seen with cordial relation
the joy and happiness mus come out with elation

the love can not be measured
it is to be shown and assured
in its simplest form and must be shown
with warmth and affection to be fully grown

If It Wasn't What It Is

If it wasn't what it is...
You still wouldn't know it.
You still would react,
As if my heart is detached.
And I have never shown you that!

If it wasn't what it is...
It would still be overlooked.
It will still be taken forgranted...
Like the wisdom collected to produce,
Encyclopedia books.

If it wasn't what it is...
Would your eyes then dance upon me?
Would your smile light up and glow?
Or would you tell me to go?

If it wasn't what it is...
You still wouldn't know it.
You still would react,
As if my heart is detached.
And I have never shown you that!

All I have ever shown you is what it is.
It has always been love.
I am hoping one day you will recognize it!
I'm hoping that day comes to us soon!

Valor

The dictionary describes 'Valor' as:
Qualities of a hero or heroine;
Exceptional courage when facing danger;
Facing the unknown with boldness and gallentry.
But, gallentry comes in many different forms.
I have seen valor on the battlefront as soldiers
Disembark from boat to beach.
I have read of those who gave their lives
To save their buddies from the wrath of war.
Yet, there is another valor, a silent valor,
Shown on the faces of those who, though not
In physcial combat, soldier against soldier,
Have just as much a life threatining struggle.
There is no noise, clash of weapons,
Shield against shield, or screams of pain,
Just silence, cold, weary silence;
Battle fatigue, as shown by the posture of
Those who return from the front;
Veterans of that silent war of personal combat.
Wave after wave of seasoned combatants pass me by
As I, a new inductee with them, wage our own
Personal battle against our common enemy,
Cancer.

God By Chance

by the grace of almighty
I have got this quality
to show my talent
to make everyone silent

I have God with myself
you may or may not belief
you may call it by chance
after giving a huge glance

talent is grown and shown
someone gets it by born
but I have to get it earn
as I had no scope to turn

God is not a treasure
with whom you are sure
that you have Him always
but it is God who plays

The Unforgiven

New blood joins this earth
and quikly he's subdued
through constant pain disgrace
the young boy learns their rules
with time the child draws in
this whipping boy done wrong
deprived of all his thoughts
the young man struggles on and on he's known
a vow unto his own
that never from this day
his will they'll take away
what I've felt
what I've known
never shined through in what I've shown
never be
never see
won't see what might have been
what I've felt
what I've known
never shined through in what I've shown
never free
never me
so I dub thee unforgiven
they dedicate their lives
to running all of his
he tries to please them all
this bitter man he is
throughout his life the same
he's battled constantly
this fight he cannot win
a tired man they see no longer cares
the old man then prepares
to die regretfully
that old man here is me
what I've felt
what I've known
never shined through in what I've shown
never be
never see
won't see what might have been
what I've felt
what I've known
never shined through in what I've shown
never free
never me
so I dub the unforgiven
you labeled me
I'll label you
so I dub the unforgiven

In A Relationship To Address

You have already shown to me,
Your main focus is on yourself.
For many years,
I have been exposed to this.

You have already shown to me,
You have had no time to be of assistance to me.
Those times when I needed,
Your advice and company.

You have already shown to me,
An absolute selfishness.
And now you wish to address 'us'...
As if I should be serious about this?

We could have been lovers and much more.
But when you leave me to go about your business...
I go to my door and lock it.
And feel a relief you have left.
That's how I feel concerning you and me,
In a relationship to address.

Everything But Me

Ashes falling on the ground
Winds that blow a hollow sound
Once standing taller still
Now falling by your will
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me

Rain that falls upon my heart
Washes away the endings start
I try to sing aloud but
My voice is lost within the crowd
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me

Every little thing is free
Every little moment sings
Every little ray of sunshine
Every little broken heart of mine
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me

Blinded by the snow today
My true friend grey skies comes to play
Lost inside my forest desire
Feeling this wild funeral pyre
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me

Every little thing is free
Every little moment sings
Every little ray of sunshine
Every little broken heart of mine
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me
Every little thing is free
Every little moment sings
Every little ray of sunshine
Every little broken heart of mine
How many times the sun has shown
On everything but me

Everything Is You

...you are my everything...
i've been thinking of a way to phrase it
seem to never find the words to say it
but it's true to say
i've been occupied by other things (i've been occupied by other things)
how could i think that you wouldn't notice (you wouldn't notice)
the absence of our closeness
realizing now
i will never let it happen again (again)
now i realize
that you are my everything
and without you here beside me
it's like an angel without it's wings
and now i realize (i realize)
that you are my everything
now i know it
should've shown it
and now i realize that you are my everything
as i sit here contemplating
'bout our love that's slowly fading
so insensitive
didn't hear you calling out for me...(didn't hear you calling out my name..)
if i could change the past i would do
everything to show i appreciate you
open up your heart
let me help you fall in love again
my friend, 'cause now i
now i realize
that you are my everything
and without you here beside me
it's like an angel without it's wings
(now i) and now i realize
that you are my everything
now i know it
should've shown it
and now i realize
that you are my everything
now i realize
that you are my everything
and without you here beside me
it's like an angel without it's wings (like an angel without it's wings)
(and now) and now i realize
that you are my everything (you are everything)
now i know it (now i know it)
shouldve shown it (should've shown it)
and now i realize that you are my everything
now i realize
that you are my everything
(life without you here beside me) and like an angel without it's wings
(oh can't you see that i apologize)
and now i realize that you are my everything
now i know it
should've shown it (your the air that i breathe)
and now i realize (the spirit that lives in my soul)
that you are my everything
[repeat chorus until fade]

When They Moan

When they moan...
They are much upset.
And beset in troubled homes.

When they moan...
Storm clouds have arrived.
And they can not hide,
Their groans.
When they moan!

Fed up by the rise of lies,
Told about but denied.
And there is no where to put aside their pride,
When they moan.
With a besetting that upsets them...
In their troubled homes.
And displeasures once unknown are shown.
As they gather to scatter chatter,
That droans.
When they moan.

In voices now condoned,
They moan.
With a groaning shown and known,
From their homes.
Leaving no one left alone,
When the moaning droans.

Aye curumba!
With a groaning shown and known,
From their homes.
Aye curumba!
Leaving no one left alone,
When the moaning droans.
Aye curumba!
In voices now condoned...
They moan.
Aye curumba!
With a groaning shown and known,
From their homes.
Aye curumba!
Leaving no one left alone,
When the moaning droans.
Aye curumba!
In voices now condoned...
They moan.
Aye curumba!
With a groaning shown and known,
When they moan!

Dedicated:
To my Latino brothers and sisters,
experiencing injustices 'anywhere'...
all one day will be well.
Your struggles have not gone unnoticed.
And your contributions are duly noted!
I love you.

Not known.

So many trip on just seeing,
What is believed and seen as shown.
What is believed and seen as shown.

I know I'm better than just sleazy

The One Thing About Knowing

The one thing about knowing,
Is its ability not to be undone.
Once something is known,
An acknowledgement of it...
To others become easily shown.

And that knowledge shown,
May come to show others despising it.
Depending on who sees what one has,
As a lasting benefit.
Since those who are not afraid of knowledge,
Feel freer to leave behind their ignorance.

The one thing about knowing,
Whether or not it is documented...
Is its ability not to be undone.
Once something is known,
An acknowledgement of it...
To others become easily shown.
And few are found to run away,
From its presence or existence.
