Twilight is the time
when the daylight
meets the night.
The hour when the sun
rests its head at sunset.
The time when lovers
come out to play,
taking walks down
leafy lover’s lanes
before the moon

When twilight is here
you shall see
but not hear a sound
the world will be peaceful
the seas will be calm
the flowers will sway gracefully
in the breeze as night does come.
The twilight hour
is the hour before darkness does prevail
when little children into dreamland sail
when the sunset leaves the sky grey and blue
then the twilight hour comes into view.
The big city sounds die peacefully
when twilight calls gracefully
as small creatures rest their heads in sleep
as all the world in tranquil stillness does seep

Moonlight
Looking at the moon at night,
I wonder how many lovers
have shared it with delight,
millions and trillions
have enjoyed its golden glow
as they went courting
under it each night.
Moonlight is romantic.
As soon as you say it,
romance springs to mind.
Kiss and cuddling
on the back seats of cars,
lovers walking arm in arm

Sunrise sunset in the mood of the way
In the colors of flame and darkish hour
Every shine time of night and the day
Like golden horizon of a new flower
Together to fill up the dream flight time
Of call from alone in the distant past

Darling, I Love You
A thousand stars in the sky
each one twinkling bright
just for you and me
on this wonderful night.
We’ll walk down leafy lanes
the way young lovers do
remembering all the star filled nights
we walked down lover’s lane.
Some said our love wouldn’t last
how wrong they were to
for here we are an old married couple
and I am still in love with you.
Our sunset is no closer
than it was all those years ago.
We both have each other
and I guess that’s just how love goes.

Call up, ring once, hang up the phone
To let me know you made it home
Dont want nothing to be wrong with part-time lover

Nobody rests
This one constantly shifts his eyes
Hangs them on his head
And whether he wants it or not starts walking
backwards
He puts them on the soles of his feet

Twilight - A Rabbit
It was on the night of the eclipse of the moon
That I saw a beam of light come into my bedroom
There at the end on my bed
I saw a figure, something strange, with long ears on its head
‘I am the ghost of Twilight' it said with its whiskers twitching
And told me that he'd left something for you for Christmas in my kitchen
The heating was off, it was cold, as I slowly rose out of bed to see
Time, according to my watch, reading only half past three
There next to the empty glass of mulled wine and plate of mince pies
Was indeed a packet of an incredibly small size
So it is not me that you must thank for receiving this
But the ghost of Twilight who loves you and sends you a great big kiss
