TV Ariel (Fun Poem 64)
If you look on the top of houses,
you will find a TV Ariel there,
a place for little birdies to sit
and have their tea break.
Now with the boom
of digital technology
comes the satellite dish,
which looks like ET landed on the wall,
but then there is the cable.
Men come around and dig a hole
to plant the cable underground.
I still like the old TV Ariel,
unsightly it may be,
but at least the little birdies
had somewhere to stop awhile
and have their tea break.

Ariel I got good grades

Ariel, my boyfriends good to me

Ariel, I'm about to graduate

'You're doing good in life and school
you brag about the things you do
It'll be funny if you graduate
but can't afford to
so you celebrate

Afternoon Dip
Yes, the stream sure looked exciting
And pleased the tiger's eyes,
With his memories delighting,
He ran to Paradise!
He squelched his way on soft warm mud
And leapt into the air,
To part the waters with a thud
That made the birdies stare!
'He's back! ' they said in unison...
'We'll never get him out! '
They watched him while he had his fun
As he splashed all about...
'He's acting like a cub again!
Just like he did last week!
You'd never guess that he was ten
And simply past his peak! '
The tiger paused, looked up a spell...
'What's that! ? ' he growled aloud!
The birdies trembled, silence fell...
The tiger felt right proud!
The birdies gulped, as birdies do,
And shut their beaks real tight.
The tiger sniggered for he knew
His power and his might!

From a technical point of view, there seemed to me to be absolutely no reason why - with the existing technology - we couldn't do very high quality audio, because whereas the boom in digital graphics is ongoing, the boom in digital audio has already happened.
