They Say

They say each life has
a star they were born under.
A star that shapes our destiny
from the cradle to the grave.

They say that we
are born again to amend
the mistakes we made in life
and finish what we left undone.

They say that we
are lucky or unlucky
and that we should think positive
to turn our fortunes round.

However, we stand at a crossroad
wondering what to believe.
Hesitating at vital moments
missing the chances, we are given.

Best we leave theories alone
and do what we believe.
Believing in what we do
is the way we will succeed.

If You There

Your beauty pulses like a distant star
Once you were so near to me
And now you've gone so far
Wretched and affixed the word is in his stone [?]
Lying now don't move nor speak no statue here alone
Living here just with a memory
A simple recollection that's so dear to me
You said it's logical that we should part
What's pleasing to my intellect
Must surely break my heart
Man will always want what he can't have
It's more than he can do just to be brave
He seeks perfection in a thousand ways
Just throw another shovel on his grave
Born to live
Born to die
Born to wonder
Why, why, why, why
If you there
Would you leave me wondering?
If you there
Am I one man only?
If you there
Don't leave me wondering
If you there
You say that all we have is what we see
Baby all you understand is a little part of me
You said that I could never be the one
Promises evaporate in the angle of the sun
If the only certain thing is death
Walk a little nearer to it now with every breath
And if this time must wear a velvet glove
Then kindness and lies are the true friends of love
Man will always want what he can't have
It's more than he can do just to be brave
He seeks perfection in a thousand ways
Throw another shovel on his grave
Born to live
Born to die
Born to wonder
Why, why, why, why
If you there
Would you leave me wondering?
If you there
Am I one man only?
If you there
Don't leave me wondering
If you there

You Are My Lucky Star

You are my lucky star
In life you've helped me get really far
You were always there when I needed you
And I hope I was always there for you too

You are my lucky star
I know God sent you here for me from afar
You had a way of making me happy when I was sad
And if I did something wrong, you wouldn't be mad

You are my lucky star
My best friend is also what you are
You helped me realize what I'm living for
But now you're gone & each day I'm missing you more

Are We Watching the Same Star?

I'm looking at this star tonight,
Wishing wishes would come true.
I wonder where I stand and look
If you see the same star too.

Does the darkness overwhelm you,
Where you stand and look tonight?
Do you see the star I’m watching?
Could we both stand in it's light?

Tonight although there's miles between us,
Perhaps our souls will somehow meet.
At the point this star begins,
Our hearts will find their beat.

Do you feel the need for someone,
To fulfill your empty life?
I'm wishing for the same thing,
As I watch this star tonight.

This gentle breeze I'm feeling,
Calms my heart of sorrow.
I'm wondering will it find you,
And soothe your heart tomorrow.

A hopeless born romantic,
Ever searching for true love.
Wishing wishes in the darkness
To this star that hangs above.

Story of the Stars

The kindness you give off,
Will remain the same,
Despite time's change,
I'm only sure of this,
Because I can't see myself,
Anywhere else but by your side,
Even if along the way,
I lose my freedom.
You could call it fate,
Or just the stupidity of my will,
But I see it as a promise,
Kept only by true friendship.
A star is said to be born everytime,
When those who are lost,
Discover that place,
They can truly call a home,
It's a story I've always been told,
So somewhere in destiny let it come true.
A star that's born wherever there's a smile,
Will always keep on shining brightly,
On those who can become kind,
A star that awakes when tears have fallen,
Will only head towards a gentle tomorrow.
A star of friendship is the same,
As a star that's made to only love......
But which one will come to you?

twinkling Star

I see a star wondering what is it doing
Twinkling all the night
Star light... Star bright,
The most beautiful star in the sky
Sparkled like a diamond

I start to make a wish upon that,
Wishing star,
My lucky star
Shining with joy, ever so brilliantly
Shinning star, shinning star

You are my guiding star
The bright star
The innocent star
Twinkle twinkle little star....

Keep On Believing

I woke up in the quiet dark
Fed the cat and hit the park
Cutest chicest chocolate queen
Look and smiled right at me
Keep on believing, keep on believing
Keep on believing, keep on believing
She said "hi" without no sound
Made my head go Iight and 'round
She was dressed to kill tne pope
Ard what she did she gave me hope
I smiled back without no sound
I said "hi" and left the ground
Keep on believing, keep on believing, keep on believing
Life won't leave me alone
Trouble won't leave rne alone
Strenght don't leave me alone
Truth don't leave me alone
She looked so bright in pixie hair
She made me know how much I cared
Her brown eyes gave me butterflies
Sho towed my soul up to the sky
Keep on believing, keep on believing
Keep on believing, keep on believing

Life is a painting! !

Coloured hues make up our life,
A role modelling brush shapes up our life,
Pure water mix our sorrows with joys,
A canvas's always there to put on your life,
A stand will always place you high in life,
A person is always beside to guide you in life,
And at last the whole world exists to look at your life....

You first paint your life on a piece of white,
you strive hard to shape your life,
but remember you always enjoy the strife you put in your life,
you first succeed when you sketch your life,
you then succeed when you paint it right,
you last succeed when you frame it bright....

Remenber a small jurk may spoil your thing,
bit of misguidance or excess of showing,
may not seem big when you ae doing,
but finally while looking,
that makes all the spoiling....

Just it is, your mistakes are not big,
when you do it,
but when life gets tougher,
mistakes look as blunders.
so strive as hard as you painted as much in life to succeed...

Good Luck! ! Go paint your life..

Be A Star To Others

BE A STAR TO OTHERS
Melvin Banggollay

When the three wise men in the bible
Had a journey to search the Holy King
Who was born in a manger's cradle,
A star guided them to the blessed king.

A star even a mile away keep its gliter
To light and show the the way to the king
Who desired his life to be humbly offered
To ransom humanity from death and sin.

We can also be a star for other to see
When we make our life truly illumintates
mirrors of good values and kind deeds
That will inspire others to love and live.

Let us be a star that shines so unselfishly
To guide others to live and think properly
To inspire them to make life better everyday
and to seek the communion of God's glory.

let your life shines to lead others life
To realize that life is not just breathing
But caring and serving without strife
Anyone that needs our life blessings.

Lucky

This is a story about a girl named lucky
Early morning, she wakes up
Knock, knock, knock on the door
Its time for makeup, perfect smile
Its you theyre all waiting for
They go
Isnt she lovely, this hollywood girl?
And they say
Chorus:
Shes so lucky, shes a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking
If theres nothing missing in my life
Then why do these tears come at night
Lost in an image, in a dream
But theres no one there to wake her up
And the world is spinning, and she keeps on winning
But tell me what happens when it stops?
They go
Isnt she lovely, this hollywood girl?
And they say
Chorus:
Shes so lucky, shes a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking
If theres nothing missing in my life
Then why do these tears come at night
Best actress, and the winner islucky!
Im roger johnson for pop news standing outside the arena waiting for lucky
Oh my godhere she comes!
Isnt she lucky, this hollywood girl?
She is so lucky, but why does she cry?
If theres nothing missing in her life
Why do tears come at night?
Chorus:
Shes so lucky, shes a star
But she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking
If theres nothing missing in my life
Then why do these tears come at night

A Star is Born in Obama

Born from a broken home
Born to be free
Son of a mother
Dad chose to flee

A star you are
And a star you'll be
Aspiring to take us all far into the next Century

President Obama
Son of this soil
Sleeves rolled up
Never afraid to toil

You are American
You are one of us
We are all traveling on the same bus

Even though the economy is failing
And the bus dangles near the railing
Hope is in sight
If we follow the star's light

A star he is
A star he'll be
The next president of our country

We Did It There

Every time I think Ive got you figured out
Every time I think Ive got you in a chinese box.
Every time I think I have got you nailed to the cross again...
Youre still happy, now...!
Every time I think Ive gotten you everything.
Every time I remember somewhere we have been.
Every time I think that I have reintroduced you to my life...
Youre still glowing, now...!
We did it there! we did it there!
We did it there! we did it there!
Every time look I see another place.
When I look at you I see another face.
Every time I feel that Ive been melted into a pool of blood...
Youre still glowing, yeah...!
Every time I see a place that we have been.
When I think of you I think of what we did.
Every time I look at you I cannot seem to feel prepared...
Youre still glowing, yeah...!
We did it there! we did it there!
We did it there! we did it there!
Ordinary furniture.
Ordinary room.
Glowing still for
Glowing just like you...!
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it we did it... there!
We did it there! we did it there!
Things will never be the same
At each and every place place weve been!
We did it there we did it there!
That place will ever be the same!
Did something there where we have been.
Theres cruelty in the memory!
We did it there we did it there!
Every time I see another place where we have been.
It becomes a second temple.
Praying to our sins.
We did it there! we did it there!
We did it there! we did it there!
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it there.
(we did it there.)
We did it we did it... there!
Bright moonshine.
Whered my dream go?
Loves all gone.
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Whered my girl go?
Loves all gone.
Whered that girl go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Had a life.
Lifes gone now.
Wheres that thing go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Had some sex.
Sex gone now.
Whered that sex go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Yeah...
Yeah....
Oh yeah!!!
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
Yeah...
Yeah....
Oh yeah!!!
Where did my lucky star go?
Where did my lucky star go?
We did it like rabbits.
While on fire.
...falling in my arms again.
We did it like that.
We did it like that.
We did it there
We did it there
We hide society from our sins.
We did it there
We did it there
We did it we did it there.
Every time I think Ive got you figured out
Every time I think Ive got you in a chinese box.
Every time I think I have got you nailed on the cross again...
Youre still glowing now!
Every time I see a place that we have been.
When I think of you I think of what we did.
Every time I look at you I cannot seem to feel prepared...
Youre still glowing, yeah...!
We did it there we did it there!
That place will ever be the same!
Did something there where we have been.
Theres cruelty in the memory!
We did it there we did it there!
Every time I think I love you,
I remember burning embers.
Makes me dizzy.
Glowing embers.
I remember.
Were so sweaty.
Altogether I remember!
Jeans undone, sweating face.
I remember I remember.
Moving slow, sweating bullets.
Glowing embers.
I remember...
Were on fire were on fire.
Glowing face and smelly breath.

Going Round 97

Everything is turning round and around
And around and around
Mythical problems in time and the living sun influencing life,
But she doesnt, but she doesnt decide, shes careless
Everything is just going on, going on, just as planned....
Till the end of the century
Merely a few wonder about the vanishing of this world.
They will turn around, turn around, turn around
Everything is just going on, going on , going on, just as planned.
Whats left behind, whats left behind has nothing to do with what will come, with what will come.
So turn around, turn around, so turn around, so turn, turn around.
Some are born to sweet delight, some are born to endless night,
Mind and matter have no bounds, the poison creeps where you cannot reach
Everything is turning round and around and around.
Mythical problems in time and the living sun, influencing life,
But she doesnt decide, but she doesnt decide
She s careless, everything is just going on, going on just as planned,
Whats left behind, the spinning round of the essence of the source
Its going round its going round its going round
Its going round its going round its going round
Merely a few wonder about the vanishing of this world.
They will turn around, turn around, turn around ,turn around
Everything is just going fine, under the living sun, its just going fine under the living sun.
Everything is just going on, going on, going on, , just as planned,
Whats left behind has got nothing to do with what will come, with what will come ,
What will come, what will come .........

Unlucky In Love

Writers: leo sayer & frank farrell
The rain is falling through the window
Down the walls on the floor
Im sitting in a station and Im wondering
Ooh can it rain any more
When youre so far down
Theres no getting up again
Oh Im so alone
And Im to blame
Unlucky in love
Unlucky in love
Guess it always ends up that way
Unlucky in love
Unlucky in my life
Guess itll always be the same
Im the only one to blame
Why oh why am I unlucky in love
The train is standing on the platform
But my feet are stuck to the floor
Maybe in another town Ill get lucky
Yeah if I could reach that carriage door
But when youre so far down
Aint no getting up again
Oh Im so alone
And Im to blame
Unlucky in love
Unlucky in love
Everything I touch turns to dust
Unlucky in love
Unlucky in love
Never needed anything quite as much
A womans voice and a womans touch
Why oh why am I unlucky in love

You Are My Lucky Star

You Are My Lucky Star
Louis Armstrong
You are my lucky star.
I saw you from, afar.
Two lovely eyes at me,
They were gleaming,beaming
I was starstruck.
Youre all my lucky charms.
Im lucky in your arms.
Youve opened heavensportal
Here on earth, for this poor mortal.
You are my lucky star.

Born To Be Loved By You

Borne again.
Because have you at just being borne again.
At last I feel that Im alive and more.
This is the moment Ive waited for.
Born to be loved by you.born to be loved by you.
Born to walk with you.born to talk with you.
I was born for you.
Born to be with you, only you.
Born to be loved by you.
Born for you, born for you baby.
Born for you, born for you baby.
Born for you, born to be loved by you
(you and only you) born to be with only you.
I look at you and all at once I know that dreams come true.
For there you are the other part of me.
I have found my destiny.
Born to be loved by you.born to be loved by you.
Right or wrong for you.weak or strong for you.
Faithful or untrue
Born chained forever and far beyond.
Born to be loved by you and only you
No one else will do.
Heart and soul, born to be loved
Born to be loved.born to be loved by you.
(you and only you, born to be with only you)
Born for you.born for you baby.
Born for you.born for you baby.
Born for you, born for you baby..

Friday The 13th

To many the number thirteen
is a number to avoid and beware of,
add Friday in front of the number,
and you have a very scary day.

To me the number thirteen,
has always been always been a lucky one,
and Friday the thirteenth,
even luckier still

Then again, if you are superstitious
any number can be unlucky.
If you want to think it so,
it just depends on how positive you are.

Now if you think negative,
you will be that way to,
so in your thinking,
just be like me.

Positive is lucky, negative is unlucky,
so train you mind,
to think positive
all the time.

Outlaw

(coverdale/lord/marsden)
When I left my home
I was not much more than a child,
My mother started crying
She knew that I was born to be wild
cos I was looking for the bright lights of the big city,
A red hot town where the girls are pretty
I took to the highway,
Chasing my dream down the line
Heading out for trouble,
Never finding my peace of mind
cos I been run out of town so many times before
An usually kind of places where I cant go back no more
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
I never find it easy trying to keep the feeling alive,
Ive always been a dreamer,
Dreamers find it hard to survive
When theyre living in the bright lights of the big city,
A red hot town where the girls are pretty
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw - born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Born outside of the law,
Just another outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
Outlaw, outlaw,
Man on the run will always take chances for fun
