Pledging My Love

Pledging my love
for the world to see
how much you mean to me.
I’m pledging my love
for the happiness I have
whenever you’re around.
I’m pledging my love
to only you my dear,
pledging it so sound
for all the pleasures you give
in the short time that your are around.
Pledging my love
for the world to see
how much you mean to me.

Pledging My Time

Well, early in the mornin
til late at night,
I got a poison headache,
But I feel all right.
Im pledging my time to you,
Hopin youll come through, too.
Well, the hobo jumped up,
He came down naturlly.
After he stole my baby,
Then he wanted to steal me.
But Im pledging my time to you,
Hopin youll come through, too.
Wont you come with me, baby?
Ill take you where you wanna go.
And if it dont work out,
Youll be the first to know.
Im pledging my time to you,
Hopin youll come through, too.
Well, the room is so stuffy,
I can hardly breathe.
Evrybodys gone but me and you
And I cant be the last to leave.
Im pledging my time to you,
Hopin youll come through, too.
Well, they sent for the ambulance
And one was sent.
Somebody got lucky
But it was an accident.
Now Im pledging my time to you,
Hopin youll come through, too.

I Love You

I love you is such a simple phrase
that we use all the time
to express our feelings towards one another.
Pledging the feelings that we feel,
hoping all the time they will be returned.

I love you, we shout it
from the bottom our hearts.
Eyes wide open as we advance
through the gates of Eden
and the pleasures that wait there.

We consume ourselves with fire
that would outshine a thousand stars,
when we say to someone special
those three magic words;
I love you.

Chasing Madness

If it wasn't for a tax to pay,
Would we awaken everyday...
Pledging our desires to be obeyed?
And would we stay dreaming,
Our lives away for those fantasies prayed!
Dangling from a twisted patience,
In a delay we are taught is perfectly okay.

And,
If it was not for those things that tease,
Would we tolerate the sweating on hands and knees?
In a toil just to please,
Those opportunities we are kept to believe.

Some people wish for a quiet place to just sit.
Dismissing all the hustle and bustle.
And the nonsense of it!
With an earned peace of mind,
Wishing to forget...
The time spent wasted chasing madness.
And its associates.
Like lust and greed and those things not needed.

If it wasn't for a tax to pay,
Would we awaken everyday...
Pledging our desires to be obeyed?
Some people wish for a quiet place to just sit.
Wishing to forget...
The time spent wasted chasing madness.

My Dream (Somewhere In Dreamland)

Last night
as I silently
slept.
Into my dreams
you genlty
crept.

Recalling
times when you
were there.
Life was breezy
without a care.

Loving you
from the time we
met
walking together
in the sunset.

Knowing your warm
tender embrace
Is something time
cannot erase.

Pledging once more
my love to you,
When I awoke, the
dream was through.

Love Sonnet 37 Should Love Be Out Of Mind Once Out Of Sight?

Should love be out of mind once out of sight?
My love has heart always beating for me,
For close to it am I, holding her tight,
This, I figured from Grey's Anatomy;
Chocolates I give as befit her heart,
And spring water to drink, pure and pristine,
Roses for eyes and culinary art,
Yet, I practice not herbal medicine;
Things I am not, for her I do become,
Like being king for palaces I never had,
Or dreamy fool, that I must be to some,
Pledging eternal love though not a god;
....If love be lie, and heart a blinded wit,
....I scorn to have eyes opened without it.

Eva' (Beloved Granddaughter)

Born on the morning of July twenty-fifth of 2003,
Christened 'Eva Laureen' 'n the world would see;

That her purpose was great as she'd soon embark,
To achieve great wonders, by leaving her mark,

On a world so dangerous, chaotic 'n stressed,
Using God-given powers, anointed 'n blessed,

Parents ‘n family pledging support 'n their love,
As God smiled down from His throne high above,

“Eva”

Endowed with charisma 'n beauty to spare,
Bluest of blue eyes 'n soft golden hair,

With a turn of a finger or a smile on her face,
People scurry about at a blistering pace,

Performing herculean tasks at her regal command,
With a nod of her head or the wave of her hand,

A natural leader, destined to balance the scales,
She knows not to rest, till justice prevails,

Restoring peace where turmoil once ruled this land,
By causing those plotting evil to give up 'n disband,

Eva dear Eva there’s so much you shall do,
As your knowledge 'n wisdom begin to accrue,

We'll prepare you well for a time just ahead,
The future applauds loudly 'n of you shall be said,

“Eva governed with compassion 'n love to be sure,
From a calm place within her, assured 'n demure.”

Section 4 Of The 14th Amendment

'Is there some way to save us from ourselves? '

Of course there is.

They who stand on the edge,
Pledging what direction ahead that should be followed.
Section 4 of the 14th Amendment,
To The Constitution as documented...
Can 'always' be borrowed to follow.

To shorten what it states:
'If people are threaten by mental instabilities...
That 'crap' is not to be allowed.
It will be deemed unconstitutional.
Even if those nuts 'think' they are justified!

And the President has every right...
To end childish bickering and fighting.

'Then why doesn't he do it? '

Do you have children?
Have you noticed...
Being impatient with them,
Creates 'more' havoc?

song - The Old Swing Tree

Park at Inch crossroads outside the new Church
And walk slowly southwards through beech hedge and birch
Turn left where the hanging tree once used to be
Straight into the war hidden there by the trees

Where soldiers and huts lined both sides of the Road
When bombs fell round here sixty five years ago
By Ash and by bluebell, old sycamore
Here where the past laps like waves on the shore

Take the wild pathway that hides the Lost Road
Towards the new village that would one day grow
And there by the verge you’d have found the swing tree
In silence, no kids swooping there wild and free

Nor pledging of love proudly carved in that tree
Those crudely cut letters for you and for me
And somewhere between times, free in the years
A few broken hearts, a few smiles and tears

So many dreams that would never come true
And not just for us but for everyone too
As time and the world bring us changes to rue
The gentle give way and the selfish break through

And here am I wondering, listening and lost
In search of all those precious moments long gone
Around the old swing tree, felled and away
By tracks of love carved too deeply to fade

Surrender to be Free

I used to spend my youth
trying to imitate all the rebels

running about
shooting off my mouth
pretending to be free

proudly flexing my
animal individuality

unlike all the rest
just like
all the rebels

used to enter battle
wielding ego-sword
hiding behind
self important shields
providing scant protection

aimless years I spent displaced
wandering in exile with all the rebels

now I lay down at night
praying for my
soul's surrender

pledging my will to conform

Socialistic Certainty

A socialistic certainty is in process!
Similar to a republic...
Few understood.
Although pledging an allegiance to it.

And democracy as it has been defended,
Only protected those,
In exclusive capitalistic greed.
Devastating a global economy.
That has leeched too long on foreign lands...
To depict those living on them,
As feared enemies.

As crooks of all kinds,
Lay their gluttonous behinds...
Wining and dining on fancy yachts,
Feasting and doing...
What they damn well please.
While those who are left...
In hunger and pitifulness,
Find within themselves...
How best to be more politically correct!
And doing it,
On their hands and knees.

Exiled

I threw myself in deep slumber
pledging not to play the game
for others and exiled myself within me
after the rebellion.

A realized being, suffers
at the hand of a thorn skull,
learns to be silent, choking on words
across the pages which are blank.

Immeasurable limits of space and senses
start a hierarchy which will breed contempt.
There was a memory, a suffering of absurdism
I am still caged in.

The kingdom collapses in brilliance of sun,
the man starts another version of hate.
Acquires the blood of royal vein
and promises to become a beautiful cadaver.

Pledged to each night your days

pledged to each night your days,
your sundry drems, sodden
range from rivers to changing skies

these still waters reek of dust
or, alternatively, are fragrant

at home and abroad
in inns and parks
on buses or trains
you dance away

Dance, and dancing
shake off your body

You've taken off time to don speed
shed flesh to wear blood

resplendent in melody
yours is the realm of gold

lost in your dance, you are frenzied
a runaway, unshackled

pledging your days to each night
how long will you dance, you man of wings
how long, the sun-bound one, will you dance?

Zombies

Most of the masses are gullible they swallow what their fed.
They feed on exotic canards, prejudice and fibs. Alcohols
Imbibed to dull the aftertaste and nothing goes to waste.
From birth to death it never changes each robbed of true identity
By unseen malevolent minds who sow these seeds of animosity,
Enmity and lies; all poisoned zombies (the living dead) who
Roam the earth mindlessly in numbers that are mind-boggling
To those of us still left. We often watch and hear their rants-
Dissonance of ad-libbed ad nauseam and pledging of dead hearts
While humming individual anthems ad infinitum plus a day.

Follow what we say
Never, ever as we do
That’s our golden rule.

John Keats

Written In The Cottage Where Burns Was Born

This mortal body of a thousand days
Now fills, O Burns, a space in thine own room,
Where thou didst dream alone on budded bays,
Happy and thoughtless of thy day of doom!
My pulse is warm with thine old barley-bree,
My head is light with pledging a great soul,
My eyes are wandering, and I cannot see,
Fancy is dead and drunken at its goal;
Yet can I stamp my foot upon thy floor,
Yet can I ope thy window-sash to find
The meadow thou hast tramped o'er and o'er,--
Yet can I think of thee till thought is blind,--
Yet can I gulp a bumper to thy name,--
O smile among the shades, for this is fame!

Tumblin Tumbleweeds

(words & music bob nolan)
See them tumbling down
Pledging their love to the ground
Lonely but free Ill be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds
Cares of the past are behind
No where to go, but Ill find
Just where the trail will wind
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds
I know when night has gone
That a new worlds born at dawn
Ill keep rolling along
Deep in my heart is a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds
I know when night has gone
That a new worlds born at dawn
Ill keep rolling along
Deep in my heart is a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

Bring Back The Memories

Baby you were in my
Dream
We were walking down
The street
Baby I heard in a melody
Its like a blast from the
Past
Let our story take us back
To the way that it used to
Be
Back to bobbys house and
Then my house
The asking whats your name
Pledging my love over soda pops
And loving you more and more
Everyday
Let the dj play that special
Song again
Lets bring back the memories
Hey there lonely girl
Ill be your duke of earl
Cause thats how it used to
Be
I keep thinking how it must
Have been
It wasnt so long ago
Everything was so simple then
When I loved you with all me
Heart and soul
In the book of love
Were a million to one
Lets bring back the memories
My earth angel
Leave a story to tell
Lets bring back these used to bes
I can make up each and every scence
Ill do-wop and then laugh at me
And Id like to rewrite my whole
Story
With you by my side
In the still of the night
I want to know that youre mine
So bring back those memories
Bring back those memories
Were a thousand miles away
Bring back the memories
Earth angel
Earth angel
Will you be mine
Bring back the memories
Bring back the memories
(fade till end)

Is Marriage A Drama?

In the name of culture drama is played to conduct marriage!
Bridegroom embraces priesthood and goes on pilgrimage;
Bride’s father stops and offers him his daughter for marriage!
He ties a yellow thread round her neck with three knots
Pledging security to parents, bride and children before fire
And the married couple lives together till the end of time!

For this event the bride waits for months together in suspense!
In life too if one difficulty is over it’s forgotten in happiness
Not knowing that another difficulty is waiting to be faced soon!
Life goes on with crises and solutions till salvation is attained!
Difficulties, suspenses and solutions at last are quite common;
Despite crises living together by God’s grace is bliss here!

Dramatic cultural life makes one bear joy and sorrow same way
And surmount ocean of life like the ship moves on up and down!

Exterminating Dante

His body mauled by white leopards.
then scant black Wolves scatter his bones
His new journey; an eyeless search
into some humpty dumpty-like absurdity.
Dante hitching down the road to hades, waiting for the next guy, with his warnings and fearful enlightenment.
History needs a fresh page, one that can grow organically here and now with the science of earth of consciousness.
Those who are with crucified limbs stretching from Heaven to Hell, shackled by this pernisious bondage, pledging obedience to an odious faith becomming hearded abjectly to an abstract master.
indeed 'Abandon hope all ye who enter here'
I see a wheel of a knife thrower.

When mastery is hard to find
with the lie being like nightmares to justify snoring.
