Passing Age

Why are memories lost in the tempest of time,
cannot be resurrected to remember moments
from our childhood far away?
At the times when our hearts desire them,
yet on cloudy days in passing age
when they are least desired
they come back like building bricks
tumbling down a spiral stairs.
Exploding though our minds
like little fireworks, bursting momentarily bright
only to be lost again in the frigid night.
What triggers childhood moments
to pounce on us in absent days?
When life has us suspended
on the ladder of passing age.

Lost My Childhood

Yes i lost my childhood.
And it will never return.
I lost the innocient life
which i used to live.
I lost the fairy dreams
Which helped me for sound sleep.
Yes i lost toy car which i paddled for long.
i remember those fairy tales my mom told me.
I was a small school kid once,
Yes, I lost those moments.
With every day passing i am losing it
And i know it will never return.
Its true that i miss those days
But thats what i can only do.
I wanted to become big
But i was never aware of this hell.
I lost that laugh, i lost that joy.
I want that childhood again
I want to be a boy.
But all i got is a loss of childhood.

My Memories of Then

I remember moments far back in the deepness of my mind
Of past times, of you and me and a life that has been
I remember thoughts I use to have all throughout the night
When my world was about you, one that I have always knew
I remember knowing how you were the part that made me whole
The wings on my back now unusable, that let me flew
I remember then, why I no longer wanted the world's gold
Because I had you, making me feel like I'm important
I remember the days passing so quickly, now lost forever
That defined my youth, and the man that was forming
I remember those words always said and never stuttered
About the love we shared, the duality intertwining
I remember the clouds, the weather that was above us
The cold days in warmth, on a big bed we were lying
I remember the end, the memories now covered with dust
But everything I know about you is still perfectly fine
I still remember your face, and all that we've said and seen
How it came to be, and how it came to pass is all in my mind

In Heart In Mind

In heart in mind there is no time
each moment merges with these moods of mine
others missunderstood and couldn't see
my neediness comes from my childhood days
when i craved love hugs warmth and praise
instead i found anger, hurt and rejection
which comes back to me in moments of silent reflection
these moments which leave others lost and confused
are the times im rembering how i was abused
there is a small child held dear in my heart
who cries each night long alone in the dark
who no one hears exept myself
my sadness effects my emotional health and others to.
to her people are cold, cruel and unforgiving
her life hardly seems worth the effort of living
if no one hears her i know i must
there must be someone for this child to trust
there was no rescue in those distant childhood days
and all these years later i still long to be saved
so when i seem down and reach for your touch
try to understand why i need it so much
don't ignore me when i act juevenille but hug me and hold me for the sake of that child.

Puckered Lips

Long hazy days of endless fun
Locked arm in arm on strolling trips
Ne’re looking back nor forward either
Ho how I miss those puckered lips

The fun we had just hanging around
No one bothered about time or reason
With friends we share our childhood play
Out having fun no matter the season

When I look back with glazed expression
To see the wondrous life we had
It’s then I realise it had its shortfalls
Where love was lost, days ended sad

But above it all when we were young
Through memories haze, the hops and skips
The beauty of my childhood sweetheart
Lost in sweet dreams of those puckered lips

The Oddball In The Window

The boy sat at the window
Looking out at the other boys
Laughing and playing their games
Enjoying their childhood days

The boy hopes that they will cherish
Those blissful moments of youth
That have been stolen from him
Moments gone forever from his childhood days

He’s not crippled in body or mind
He’s not allowed outside to play
Those boys point and stare at the boy
They call the oddball in the window

His parents have imprisoned him
To wrap him up in cotton love
He is just to much a gift from god
He is their only precious child

The parents say it’s for his own good
He’s such a delicate child
He just sits at the window
Jealous of the children running free

He will never laugh with other children
He will never join in their games
He never smiles in photographs
He’s not enjoying his childhood days

He’s grown up now; still sitting at the window
His parents can’t get him to venture outside
Everyone passing takes time to point and stare
At the man they call
The oddball in the window

My Childhood Faded Away

My childhood has faded away
In those days I had no bills to pay.
I close my eyes and remember those days.

Childhood dreams filled with love,
Hide and seek, my baseball glove,
No heavy chains,
Warm summer rains.

Fiery dragons, flying high in the sky,
Pirate ships, Captain Bligh.
Munching sweet apples,
Candy peppermint,
Rosy red cheeks,
Innocense.

Long ago, not by chance,
Under my bed, monsters danced.
Through the years a backward glance,
Wishing I had my bell bottom pants.

Eyes so bright,
Flying a kite,
Birds singing cheeful songs.
Quiet days, star filled nights,
Winter snow, on frozen lawns.

I wish that I was back today,
But I've put that life far away,
My childhood moments that I recall,
Childhood years, were the best of all.

A childhood forgotten, A childhood lost

[NOTE: THIS POEM IS NOT TO BE USED ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY CONCENT. PLEASE USE THE LINKS IN MY BIOGRAPHY OR MESSAGES ON THIS SITE TO CONTACT ME. THANKS.]

I can't remember,
Skipping rocks on the pond,
My childhoods forgotten,
My Childhoods lost,

Going to the lake,
Sitting on the beach,
Playing with friends,
or dancing in the streets,

I can't remember,
The crash in the fog,
My childhood was forgotten,
My childhood was lost,

The doctor doing surgery,
Me getting pills,
I can't remember any of it,
None of it's clear,

I still can't remember,
How it is gone,
My childhood forgotten,
My childhood's lost!

Well I'm gonna end it right now,
I gonna kill myself off,
A childhood Forgotten,
A childhood lost

Autumn

I have let go of time,
I have let days disappear and
As I walk down this pathway of life
For a brief moment
I have become a child again-
Not knowing where to run to or
How to evade misconceptions,
I do know that there are trees
Behind which to hide and even fortresses in the air-
Memories of my childhood, seeing what others did not see,
Being forever slighted and misunderstood,
Memories of my empty heart and these memories I cannot escape.
I often ask myself why these recollections of fear, sadness and mistrust
Have become a branch upon a tree that
Will not break and blow away in a windstorm and
More recent recurrences which others have
Deemed as impressive and worthwhile have
Vanished perhaps high in the sky as
Riding upon a shooting star that has burnt out in the universe-
I have let days disappear although not
Memories of childhood sorrows and rivers of tears-
I am drowning inside a tributary of sadness.
Leaves upon the trees turning rust, yellow and even red in the autumn,
Cool air at dawn caresses my arms within a brief moment of pleasure-
A voice inside of my mind tells me to never let go of present moments, as
The leaves shower upon me in a gust of wind and
This being the most picturesque and enlightening time of the year-
I am learning- never let go of time,
Never let these days disappear.
Childhood moments of abuse, disappointment and unrelenting pain,
Are forever gone and we must grasp onto today and
Perhaps even the future- I know not where to run to although
I shall keep running forward and cease looking behind-
Kicking fallen leaves aside and breathing the crisp autumn air-
As I bury the past within a moment of realization that
The agonizing past moments that we only see inside of our minds
Have ridden that shooting star and are lost someplace in the universe, while
I can see time ahead and in this present moment
Being a colorful aura and worth a lifetime of happiness.
I grasp and hold onto time, while letting all of those tears cried for yesterday
Flow downstream and over stones and to be forgotten as
Earth in a flurry of a storm-

Unframed childhood

In retrospect, everything is a mist
Memories are but faint and faded
Childhood lost amidst
Blurred reminisces long dead

A fogged vision unveils
Shapeless shapes in the distance
Dimensions and definitions still
to indiscernible importance

A face frozen, a child’s days framed
For a fraction of eternity
Reflecting moments of a mind untamed
To be my past’s testimony

I wish I had a photograph of my childhood
I could then say “this is me at ten”
I could then word
“I was a brat then”

And dancing in the streets,

Good Ole Days

Oh, the good ole days,
why can't this day be,
the good ole days
thinking of those days,
long ago, when old age,
was on the horizon,
childhood just a step behind,
yesterday just a memory,
childhood memories when,
oh, so carefree
today the present,
will be those good ole days,
when old age is upon us
we once again wished we
were back in time and,
oh so care free.

Memories of Childhood

memories so many,
arent they sweet like honey?
i remember my childhood days;
when me and my sister lazed.

the time when i rolled in mud,
or; the time when i fell down

the time when i saw a meteor,
or; the time when i went to school.

the time when i threw stones at cows,
or; the time when i was chased by a mouse!

old memories are filled with fun and joy,
things to be remembered and loved.
and; time came for me to grow up;
to sit in the armchair;
to remember............................
(stuffed in my mind)
my childhood memories.

That Moment Of Time Gives The Meaning

Time passing by like a river in spring time,
Time always runs and never looks back,
We hold onto time and we use it,
But time is never ours, even when we wanted it to be so much.

With every second passing by,
Now we desperately hold the moment, soon it will be gone,
We shouldn't waste those precious moments,
Once it's lost, we'll never get it back.

There is time for hope,
To love, to remember, to enjoy, to forgive,
There is time, we shouldn't lose,
There is time for everything.

Do not let time be wasted in vain,
Without time, there is no meaning,
Use that time to make a mark in your life,
That moment of time gives the meaning.

Time Of Our Lives

At our lives, we are only given one small crack;
Sometimes, we all wish we could turn time back.
Life is not something for which we can rehearse;
We can't fast forward it; can't put it into reverse.

Each day is a blank canvas, ready for us to paint;
Memories of some days are vivid; some seem feint.
It is up to each of us to choose how we fill our days;
There are so many options: so many different ways.

There are times when we all wish our lives away,
Especially when looking forward to a special day.
The days in-between, we wish just would not exist,
But, from our lives, those days would be sorely missed.

Some moments, we wish wouldn't fade into the past;
We wish we could pin them down, and hold them fast.
Those moments, we wish we could capture in a jam jar,
So that we can recall just how special to us they really are.

There are moments when we wish time would disappear:
It may be a single minute, an hour, a day, or an entire year.
When we are children, the days seem to just last and last,
But, as we grow older, they all seem to fly by really fast.

Whether it's a really special day, or just mundane;
Whether it's a really sunny day, or pouring of rain,
Every day holds the same amount of value or worth:
Each and every day is a blessing for us on our Earth.

Golden Days

I long for those days
which were filled with full of laughter,
Without worrying about time
when we just used to loiter

I miss those days
which were full of pranks n mischief,
When we used to burst into laughing
without minding the crowd or anything

People used to mock us
& call us the laughter stock,
yet we were unmindful
& simply used to rock!

Yes I long for the lost happiness
for the lost world,
My today seems to be void minus those moments
Its like an ocean without a pearl!

For the moments we spent together
were The Best,
As we used to have a blast
with all the zeal n the zest.

Today we know its not possible for us
to rewind again,
As we were girls then, n now a mother n a wife
who has taken a more responsible path now in life.

But I still live in those moments
by rewinding the cute, sweet, unforgettable memories,
By smiling all alone
forgetting all my present worries!

When did it..

When did it go away?
Those happy moments...Those loving moments...Those peaceful days...The light of day...The childhood I once had...It's been so long...Did i even have those things?
When did it take over?
Sadness...Faded happiness
Hate...Turned my heart dark
Insanity...Trapped me in it's world
Darkness...Covers my light
Voices...Killed my childhood
It's been so long...It's been so long...
Unlock this door...Set me free

A Crying Child

Inside my heart there's a crying child
Still remains the pain of the past
Still is there aline in pain
O, Child don't you know that?
There are truths in life won't be ever changed
All the time they stay the same
All the time they remain the pain
Over and over they revive the ache
O, Child those lost childhood days
O, Child and who can bring back the past
They are unknown inside of your heart
The longing to the unknown
Unlived
Deprived
Strange
O, Lost childhood days
O, Child Cry Cry
May your innocent tears brings back the time
O, Child may a magic take you over there
May the time stops once again right there
May the time washes away your pain
O, Child still there are tears uncried
O, Child still the happiness is lost inside your eyes.

Old Lost Loves

Memories come tumbling back
of old lost loves,
lost on the sea of life.
Memories recalling dreams
that were never to come true.
They are harnessed in time
to remain there ever more
now the perfect love has come along.

Days And Nights Go By (by R.b.)

days and nights go by
like friends and lovers
merely passing by us
not stopping not staying

know by now, life is
like that, too, merely
passing by, not staying,

pilgrims, yes, days
and nights are pilgrims,
always passing by,
not staying,
night not blacking out
day, not exploding

yes, just passing by
like poems that you
read, that you pass
by, and then we

begin again, we pass
again, not stopping
not staying, sometimes
not even glancing.....

Innocence was stolen

You stolen my innocence
As a young child
The painful memories
Filled my childhood with
Tears, hurt, and pain

The unbearable pain
The hurt
You put me though

You lost nothing
You gain power
I lose my innocence
Lost my life
Lost my happiness
Gain nothing but pain

My childhood forgotten
My childhood lost
My childhood stolen by a man
that was my moms friend

You voilatd me
You molesed me
More then I can count on my hands and feet

You took the innocents out of the child
And left pain
