No Hidden Agendas
There are no hidden agendas
in my writings or my life.
No subliminal messages
I feel I have to get through.
My life is too much an open book
with the good and bad I have done
and my writing speaks for itself,
mainly simple and full of fun.
Life is too short to go without trust
with both friends you can and cannot see.
I am not a very clever man,
but someone who is simple and honest
and the things I write are based on the same principal.
I do not lie to those I can see
and I do not lie to those I cannot.
If someone wants to hurt me
and destroy the trust I have in them,
they can do that so very easily.
However, what will they gain from that?
Probably only the loss of a very beloved friend.
I have no hidden agendas
within anything I do
and the only person I ever hurt at times is only ever me.
I am sometimes too trusting
with everyone who comes my way
with friends seen and unseen.
I always want to believe they are as open as me,
and have no hidden agendas
and are only out to deceive.
Sadly, in some cases, they are
and I admit that I have been hurt now and then.
We do not really know anyone,
but hope they are as honest as we,
with no hidden agendas tucked up their sleeve.

When you see your neighbors, their needs, their joys, their sorrows, when you see them next door or halfway around the world, you will know what to do. It is concern that precedes and inspires agendas, and survives when agendas fail, and it causes us to try again, always trying our best, never certain about our own judgment. It is knowing that God's purpose exceeds whatever we can put in an agenda. For Christians, it is trusting in the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Hidden Agendas
Perhaps I can attribute it,
To my imagination.
Or my daring to take chances.
But it seems to me,
Those who express wishes...
For being understood,
Are the least considerate of others.
With the same respect they expect to get.
And yet can find sympathizers,
To protect them from harsh winds believed...
Blown from those,
Who do not sit with wishes of being understood...
As much as they tell it like it is.
From a perspective unprotected by a self censorship...
Of hidden agendas unsuspected.
And gone undetected,
By those equally inexperienced...
To live a life that is honest, bold and daring.

Hidden
Hidden away I am.
Locked in my world of dispare.
I have to hide away.
Its safer that way.
No one can get me.
I can hide my pain.
Its all well hidden to the human life.
All hidden deep inside of me.
Hidden its all hidden.
Ive hidden myself away.
Hidden my life in my world.
Just hidden it all is.
Its best that way

An Acquired Taste
When people start making listening,
Prioritized as their agendas...
Misunderstandings,
Which now have no benefit...
Will then become limited,
To allow a broadened consciousness...
To happen and occur.
'I'm sorry.
That last part about the biscuits and liqueur?
I didn't quite get that.
When you mentioned something about agendas...
With limited mint?
I am sure that has to be an acquired taste.
I can't imagine having an appetite for that at all.'

Hidden Talent
Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Just like a person from another world
My eyes can see inside you, little girl
I see things that you dont want to see
I see things youre trying to hide from me
Im just trying to make you understand
All the ways you can affect this man
From the moment that you came in touch
With the power there to burn so much
Youve got hidden talent (yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
You know your past is whats been bugging you
If youre ready girl ... do what you gotta do
Look for your life between the lines
Bad directions and poor designs
Youve got hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out you ... got it, hidden talent, oh
With the advantage of perspective i
See theres more to you than meets the eye
But now the time must come to spread your wings and fly
Yeah (hidden talent) yeah
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out ... you got it, hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Affair without warning
Hidden talent, mmm (mmm)
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
(fade)

Our Elections
Our elections are political parties having a fight,
About which one of their hidden agendas might be right,
Where those with an independent thoughts are forbidden,
They have to go off in a corner and stay strictly hidden.
Can’t vote for a prime minister by name or a senator,
The establishment will do that and they say, it’s not sinister,
It’s accepted as the long established Canadian way,
And nothing can ever be changed no matter what you say,
Can’t have set-date elections because they they are not liked,
Can’t have recall or binding referendums of any type,
Why do you think more than half Canadians don’t bother to vote?
If we had binding referendums, then we could really promote?

Professing To Be Strong
Those today professing to be strong in faith,
But display a weakened identity...
And questionable intergrity.
Are not those I would suspect,
To have any backbone.
At least none that is projected or publicly shown.
And...
Those offering their feathery sweetness,
Sicken with their hidden agendas.

I Want You To Hurt Like I Do
I ran out on my children
And I ran out on my wife
Gonna run out on you too, baby
I done it all my life
Everybody cried the night I left
Well, almost everybody did
My little boy just hung his head
And I put my arm, put my arm around his little shoulder
And this is what I said:
Sonny I just want you to hurt like I do
I just want you to hurt like I do
I just want you to hurt like I do
Honest I do, honest I do, honest I do
If I had one wish
One dream I knew would come true
Id want to speak to all the people of the world
Id get up there, Id get up there on that platform
First Id sing a song or two you know I would
Then Ill tell you what Id do
Id talk to the people and Id say
Its a rough rough world, its a tough tough world
Well, you know
And things dont always, things dont always go the way we plan
But theres one thing, one thing we all have in common
And its something everyone can understand
All over the world sing along
I just want you to hurt like I do
I just want you to hurt like I do
I just want you to hurt like I do
Honest I do, honest I do, honest I do

TIMID SILENT FIXATION May 9th 2011
Our overpaid politicians will arrange a commission,
They feel their high pay is too low and they need an addition,
The weakness in our system is our lack of participation,
Most constituents have this timid silent fixation.
Canadians should have the ability to bring about change,
Binding referendums and death with dignity is not strange,
But the appointed Supreme Court and the Senate are opposed,
And their hidden motives and agendas are never exposed.
We need strong leaders, who can see a kilometer down the road,
Not nitwits afraid to read the writing on the wall and decode,
Because you know and I know that we need to bring about some change,
We only need to sit down and talk and write and rearrange.

The Need for Touch
To touch and be touched is perhaps the most human thing we do.
It can provoke many emotions.
Those who have been hurt, fear it; and want to run away.
Run away from the terror, the abuse, the roughness.
In running away, we feel safe.
Safe from being hurt again... Safe from feeling... But oh so alone...
We have lost trust... the trust we had as a child.
Each time we are hurt, it becomes harder to trust in another.
Trusting that, in reaching out, we won't be hurt again.
But without trust, there can be no peace..
If there is no peace, there will always be a longing. Something missing...
In peace, we can be alone if we wish or
We can reach out and soak in the goodness of touching
and being touched by another. Both are good.
When we can trust in another:
Their touch calms us... soothes us... quiets our fears.
While being nursed, a baby caresses its mother while she nurtures him.
A father's cuddle is returned with contentment and joy.
That bond of trust, born from gentle touch, allows each to be at peace.
It allows each to gather strength from the other.
Some find that animals fill their need to touch. A dog's trust is unconditional.
It will follow you where ever you go and protect you with it's life.
All it wants in return is your touch, your affection.. Your caress.
A caress is a special kind of touch.. It is born of love and mutual trust.
A trust that allows us to stand on our own, even when the other isn't there.
Trusting that, if we call, the other will respond. Without fear...
Without questioning... Simply because we called.. A friend.
In quietly caressing and being caressed we gain strength.
nothing calms faster...
the child in all of us.
the need in all of us..
The human in all of us.
It is good to trust.

Fruits take efforts to be tasty.
Flowers take efforts to be fragrant.
They have their hidden agendas.

Kept Secret From An Ugliness Unknown
The good ones
Are not often depicted,
To be the kind
You'd find,
Using a bathroom in their homes.
The bad ones
Are always those perceived,
In need of the good ones
To lead with their assistance,
On the right path.
The good ones
Are always spoken of as being nice and liked
With voices sweet and appealing.
The bad ones
Are rumored to be heartless,
Ruthless and crazed
By the good ones.
And nasty tempered people.
Who curse and treat them mean
For no apparent reason,
The good ones say.
Left them amazed
The good ones
Lie and cheat.
With the twisting of truths,
To those they initially meet
And those made to look bad
Who are victims of character assassinations,
To use by the good ones
For purposes to discreetly deceive others,
With their hidden agendas
Kept secret from an ugliness unknown,
But to the 'bad' ones shown.
The bad ones know of this.
And have already experienced,
Being victimized by this wickedness.
And come forward to speak of it.
'You would never believe what happened to me! '
~Really?
You're one of the bad ones.
Right? ~

Lament
Where are those dazzling hills touched by the sun,
Those crags in childhood that I used to climb?
Hidden, hidden under mist is yonder mountain,
Hidden is the heart.
A day of cloud, a lifetime falls between,
Gone are the heather moors and the pure stream,
Gone are the rocky places and the green,
Hidden, hidden under sorrow is yonder mountain,
Hidden, hidden.
O storm and gale of tears, whose blinding screen
Makes weather of grief, snow's drifting curtain
Palls th'immortal heights once seen.
Hidden, hidden is the heart,
Hidden, hidden is the heart.

Secret feelings
everything we had,
seem to come to the surface,
i keep quite and can't say,
everything i keep hidden,
like my feeling for you,
you seem to know me in many ways,
but, the way i feel about you,
remains hidden,
close to my heart,
where it is safe from getting rejected,
by the one person who opinion means everything,
words can't explain in detail,
of how close i am to you,
wanting to be more than friends,
but life gets in the way,
of everything we could have,
both got lovers,
but are they the right ones?
my heart is pure with you,
because of friendship that remain the same,
only makes me question more,
will our friendship turn into something more?
we been hoping for this moment,
ever since we were kids,
now that we have the chance,
will we let the opportunitity,
pass us by,
or pull throught the fear,
and be the people we always wanted to be,
in the other person life?

Friends
Making new friends is like
Being reborn for which
True friends
Are as if you’ve become
Blood related
All in your own choosing
The friends that stay a life time
Are as close to you as a
A brother or sister
But
The friends that come and go
Are just another faze that
You’ll go through and come out of
Picking your friends is as crucial
As picking your religion
For witch both will and can
Change you life
Save your life
Or
Destroy your life forever
For they are what you
Shape the map of your entire life with
The society in witch you grow-up in shapes
The person you and your friends
Will become on day
So pick your friends wisely cause before long
You’ll be asking yourself if I’m ever in a life or death situation
Would you save my life?
Can I trust you to?
If the answer is no then you need to think about
Why you don’t trust them
What about them makes you not
Trust them
If the answer is yes then you
Have a true friend

My Trust, My Love
You were the one I loved
The one I would die for
I never thought it would be a lie
Never thought that you could do that
You hurt me so much I wanted to die
You hurt me like I’ve never been hurt before
But that’s ok. I know that I’m fine
I will live without you by my side
I have found someone new, someone true
Someone who is better than you by far,
Someone who could never leave me
For this person is someone who is a part of me
If I have learned anything good from you its this,
That I need to learn to love myself,
And that I cannot trust the spoken word
For only the words from the heart are true
So thank you for this, and only this
Because it still hurts, and the trust is gone
My love and my trust are one
So you cannot keep my trust anymore
Because you have betrayed my love
I was writing this,
Just to let you know

Could You Love Me
I need to trust you.
Not rush you,
Into love.
We need to make agendas we keep.
And free ourselves from hook-ups.
I need to trust you.
Not rush you,
Into love.
We need to make agendas we keep.
And free ourselves from hook-ups.
Could you love me...
With feelings riped in meaning?
Could you love me...
Like no one you have known?
Could you love me...
As if you had been dreaming?
Could you love me...
And not answer the phone?
To let me know you're home,
Alone!
Could you love me...
With feelings riped in meaning?
Could you love me...
Like no one you have known?
Could you love me...

And not answer the phone?
To let me know you're home,
Alone!
I need to trust you.
Not rush you,

We need to make agendas we keep.
And free ourselves from hook-ups.

Trust
To trust someone
To be trustable one
To love without doubts
To beloved
without whys
Do not forget my friend
Every relationship in our life Is based on trust and faith
You can't love and beloved
If the trust between you is lost
So keep this advice in mind
Be aware my friend
To not betrrayed Someone's trust that can hurt your pride
I want you to always feel proud
Once the trust is lost Nothing could help you in vain
To gain back again
The lost trust to gain
Between two hearts the flame
Of love so soon turns to ashes and pain
Respect of love gets lost
The meaning of love when foist
Only the bad memories stay
They always remain the pain
There in the minds will be left
Those painful memories and the woundful honesty and the trust
With every mention of love
They always bleed in hearts
While the love is lost
Nothing else is left
Just bitter memory of love
Filled with hate and blame
When the pride of love
Will forever cry Alone in the flame of the self blame

Bond Of Friendship
For JoAnn and Meggie
Sometimes friends think
they’ve dragged you down,
when it isn’t that way at all.
As you talk to them on lonely nights,
they light a candle in your heart to show you the way.
That isn’t dragging you down,
but picking you up from the place to which you fell.
These friends mean so much to you
that you miss them when they are not there.
Their bond of friendship
is like the bond of marriage
that ties one another together
through thick and thin.
You feel sad when they think they’ve hurt you.
So, I’m telling you my friends
and the entire world to see.
There is nothing you can do
to ever hurt me the way you think you do.
There is only one way
you could ever hurt me
and that is saying a few simple words
like you don’t want to be
my friend anymore.

To Hard To Trust Some1 U Love
Why is it so hard to trust some one you love?
Is it the fear of being hurt again?
You been hurt so many times
Just when you think they are trustworthy
they go right around and lie at your face
You feel hurt and confused
You start to think love is not to be trusted
Your heart has implanted the idea that love is not to be trusted no mater how real it seem
Now your heart became used to not trusting
Even if you want to trust them you just cant
You don't want be made a fool again
When you hear the words 'please baby trust me'
You start to think do they want me to trust them so that I wont have no clue what they doing behind my back?
So you don't take no chances and you keep track of every thing they say to see if the story changes
The very fear of being hurt again hunts you in your dreams
It becomes the shadows that stalk you everywhere you go
Now trust had become you enemy
You start to think that honesty between love ones is just a lie
One after the other
Every time you want to trust someone you love
A voice in your head start to tell you not to trust no one
The closer you get to trust them the louder that voice get
It screams in your
You just want that sound to leave so you do what it said
You trust no one except that voice
Your forced to think everyone is untrustworthy
You wished you had someone you could trust but it has become harder and harder for you
Now trust in someone you love has become merely just a long gone memory
Just a mystery you don't want to waist you time in solving
Now love has become harder and harder for you
All the times you been hurt has become your nightmares that only comes out when your in love
It waits, lies dormant until love comes your way
When it does, all you fears of getting hurt again just floods in your head
None stop
You just want to break down and cry because any little thing could lead the way to a broken heart………………………………..............................
