New Friends
Everyone I meet as I walk through life,
I take to my heart as a friend.
I try not to make enemies
out of anyone I meet.
Friendship means a lot to me.
Some people say I walk with angels.
I am not so sure about that.
What I am sure of
is that I walk with friends
wherever I may go.
My arms are always open
to help and greet any stranger
that I may meet.
The world to me is filled with strangers
I have yet to know.
Strangers who will become,
another new friend
when we chance to meet.

Strangers When You Meet
We maybe strangers when we meet,
but as friends, we depart
and so the world goes round
with you never knowing
whom you will meet on the street.
The perfect stranger
of any religion, race or creed
could end up being your best friend
by the end of the day.
The next time you go walking down the street
your next friend or best friend
you might just chance to meet.

Perfect Strangers
Everytime we meet
My heart skips a beat
Seems were perfect strangers
I cant understand
Whats inside of man
That makes us perfect strangers
Through all this time so lonely
All the people with nobody
With lifes misunderstanding
Feel Ive known you all my life
Theres something quite familiar in your eyes
A soul is calling
Do you ever wonder why?
Everytime we meet
A sympathetic beat
In the heart of strangers
Here the love it calls
But you dont know me at all
Seems were perfect strangers
Just like perfect strangers
Ever looked up to the sky
On a night so melancholy
See the angry world around you
Really need someone to talk to
Doesnt mind you feel so crazy
Wheres the understanding stranger
Or the understanding lover
I know therell come a day
When peace will touch the heart of you
Until then I will say
Open up your eyes
Youre not hypnotised
Were not really strangers
You dont understand
That in the heart of love
Theres no perfect strangers
Everytime we meet
A sympathetic beat
In the heart of strangers
Repeats...

Strangers When We Meet
Yooou, yooou, yooou
Yooou, yooou, yooou
All our friends
Now seem so thin and frail
Slinky secrets
Hotter than the sun
No peachy prayers
No trendy rechauffe
Im with you
So I cant go wrong
All my violence
Raining tears upon the sheet
Im bewildered/resentful
For were strangers when we meet
Blank screen tv
Preening ourselves in the snow
Forget my name
But Im over you
Blended sunrise
And its a dying world
Humming rheingold
We scavenge up our clothes
All my violence
Raining tears upon the sheet
Im bewildered/resentful
For were strangers when we meet
Cold tired fingers
Tapping out your memories
Halfway sadness
Dazzled by the new
Your embrace
Was all that I feared
That whirling room
We trade by vendu
Steely resolve
Is falling from me
My poor soul
All bruised passivity
All your regrets
Ride rough-shod over me
Im so glad
That were strangers when we meet
Im so thankful
That were strangers when we meet
Im so clover
For were strangers when we meet
Heel head over
But were strangers when we meet
Strangers when we meet (repeat ad. inf.

Walk Dont Walk
Walk on their side of the street?
Dont walk where it feels the best?
Walk away from people u meet?
Dont talk 2 strangers
Unless they walk the way u want them 2?
Dont walk unless the others do?
I said walk, like u could use a ride?
Dont walk with a confident stride
Then people will walk over u
Dont talk until they tell u 2?
Dont talk if its against the rules?
Just walk away and be a fool?
Thats what they wantcha 2 do
Yeah, thats what they want u 2 do
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Dont talk if its against the rules?
Just walk away and be a fool?
Thats what they wantcha 2 do
So u got 2 walk like u wanna make it!
Dont walk like u just cant take it
Go on and walk on any side you like!
Dont walk wherever they tell u 2 - psyche!
The sun will shine upon u one day
If ure always walkin your way
The sun will shine upon u one day
If ure always walkin your way
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
(tellin me now, just walkin)
Said Im walkin on your side of the street (tellin me now, just walkin)
Im talkin 2 the people I meet (tellin me now, just walkin)
Alright
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk

Never Knowing
Everyday we meet strangers
all the time never knowing
if one of them
will one day no longer be a stranger,
but become a new friend.
Someone who will stand beside us
when troubles rise
and who will walk with us
until our troubles subside.

Stranger
Raindrops falling
Winter feels so gloomy
Hear the knock upon my door
Stranger calling
Eyes that look like mine
Said you know Ive called before
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Familiar stranger
Should I know your name
Did we meet some time ago
I feel uncertain
Shadows whisper to me now
Sudden wind begins to blow
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Darkened doorways
Strangest things can happen
Dont know who youre talking to
Find yourself
When lightning strikes you now
You could be looking back at you
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
What is veiled now soon will be shown
Come walk with me through the unknown
Stranger
Familiar stranger
Should I know your name
Did we meet some time ago
Are you someone I should know
Did we meet sometime ago

Unbelievers
Calling all you non-achievers
We are as one and we make a stand
Our wishes of no direction
Repay (?) the same till we reach the end
I imagine all these people
Running up to shake our hands
As we walk along we could be famous
We walk along we could be famous
Yellow buses, streams of caravans
Winding the highway like a snake
Pity all those unbelievers
Busy in life till they make the grey [break]
I imagine ancient places
Sunbeat in some endless heat as
We walk along we could be famous
We walk along we could be dreamers
We walk along we could be strangers
We walk along we could be dangerous
I imagine all these places
I imagine all these things as
We walk along we could be famous
We walk along we could be invisible
We walk along we could be strangers
We walk along we could be dangerous
We walk along we could be famous
We walk along we could be invisible
We walk along we could be strangers
We walk along we could be dangerous...

Mask
In life you meet various people,
some cunning some innocently simple.
the two types are always disguised,
by a mask of emotions, carefully devised.
When you meet someone you cant be sure,
whether their heart is corrupt or pure.
' how much more time? ' you ask,
'before I get to know, the man behind the mask.'
Sometimes you are lucky enough,
to find a soft heart,
beneath an exterior that's rough.
but alas those unlucky souls,
who meet people with selfish goals.
They call them a friend and hold them dear,
but do not realise, that they are not as they appear.
It hurts a lot when 'friends' turn foes,
For sharp thorns do accompany the beautiful rose.
Now, I too hide the real me,
behind a mask put up for the world to see.
Too afraid to let it go,
in case a friend turns out to be a foe.
I meet people with a smile on my face,
but keep the mask handy, just in case.
Wish I could meet someone true,
so I could throw away the mask,
with which I grew.

A Crowded Street
We walk down a crowded street,
a sea of faces greet us there.
We never know if among the faces
who we might meet there.
It could be someone famous
or someone infamous.
It could a lost love
or a new love we’ve yet to meet.
We never know whom we will meet
when we walk down a crowded street.

Objectified
All beautiful things meet their demise
Flowers in bloom surely will die
Frozen are the wings of the dead butterfly
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Clouds of gray spoil the light of the skies
The ocean must fall in order to rise
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
I knew I was doomed when you first said, “Hi.”
Two ships in the night, we were bound to collide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Four months can pass in the blink of an eye
We lose ourselves without having to try
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
The simplest words become hard to define
You can’t see the truth when you cover your eyes
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Your pay the price to take this ride
Slowly, you find that you’re living a lie
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Pictures of us will fade over time
We become strangers in a world so wide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
You’ll keep on searching for what you won’t find
You’ll lose your faith while I lose my mind
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Sometimes your morals get left behind
It will be too late when you realize
Because all beautiful things meet their demise

A Friend We Do Not Know
There are no strangers in life
only friends we do not know.
Our first meetings are
like the early morning dew
that awakens the flowers
that spread colours
through our lives.
We walk each day
with strangers we do not know
who could bring with them
a friendship unbound
when they enter
into our lives.
The next time
you see a stranger smile
as that stranger could
in the not too distant future
bring a long and lasting
friendship into your life.

Walk On
Walk on
Roy orbison
Walk on
If you should meet
Walk on
On down the street
Walk on
Dont even look
Walk on
Close up the book
We dont want the world to see us
Like we are
We should never have even gone this far
Quickly brush away that teardrop
Walk away darling
Dont stop
Dont look back for me baby
Walk on
Walk on
Dont turn around
Walk on
To higher ground
Take the love we shared together
Keep it in your heart forever
Dont forget me
Oh baby walk on
If you ever loved me baby
Walk on

One More Time Again
You and me my love
Somehow, somewhere
I don't know how
I'm not sure when
But I can feel that'll
Will meet once again
Maybe in another life
We will meet once
again
Strangers or lovers
No matter however
or where
Once again my love
I know that ill meet
Those alluring eyes
Just one more time
again

Goodbye Dear Friend
Goodbye Dear Friend
Goodbye dear friend
Until we meet again
Promise to keep you in my heart forever
And cherish all the memories we have shared together
Goodbye dear friend
We may travel in separate ways
I promise forever our friendship will stay
I may find and meet somebody
But the friendship we have will reminds me everyday
Goodbye dear friend
I may be far, far away
But in my mind and in my heart
Forever you will stay
Goodbye dear friend
Until we meet again …..

0219 People people
It must be fun - or so I'd like to think -
doing a 'people' job,
if that's what you really like to do;
like being a born bright barman in a not-too-busy bar
where everyone you meet's a challenge of some sort -
to spark the eyes of strangers, or
to plumb the depths of lonely mind and heart;
and postman, on a regular morning round -
not the early one who drops through blank, closed doors
of houses where only the dog's awake, and finger-hungry;
but the one who has the parcels, has to knock,
and meets you face to face; and meets your gratitude,
maybe your full-on smile...
but now, the latest guy (where do the happy ones all go?) -
he's really weird. He must know by now
that I'm eager for his ring, because that means
another poetry book; and yet when I unleash unshaven joy
and greet him like a friend I've really missed,
he hands me the parcel with his face
turned full ninety degrees to the right, as if
my smile, my breath, bears loathsome foul disease,
or as if in some shared past, I'd done him some unpardonable hurt.
I sometimes wonder if he has some history of abuse, and now
he's scared to meet anyone who might be kind to him...
What a pity that he'll never meet
Mr Weekly Organic Veg
who's born to live in joy, it seems,
whose smile is larger than his face,
whose eyes are shining with a friendship that's unqualified,
and who reminds me in five seconds flat
what life's all about.

Walk with me...
Walk with me where the oceans meet the land
Where the lapping waves shall wash away all our fears
Walk with me along crystal sands to the end of the beginning
Where death and despair are but a distant memory
Walk with me to a place where time is motionless
Where we are but a moment standing still for all eternity
Walk with me to the edge of this never ending story
Where peace and love radiate throughout each chapter
Walk with me into the open arms of loves sweet embrace
Open your heart and love shall become us...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Infinite Moment
Sometimes something magic happens,
two people meet who are worlds apart.
They meet by chance
and each touch the others heart.
We can give no explanations
except to say that it does
and that is what happened to me.
When I went on holiday,
we were strangers until we hugged
one another in an airport far away.
In that infinite moment
our lives changed forever,
we became closer than we had ever been.
When we eventually parted
if was if we were family.

Strangers Eyes
All alone, a rainy night
No one around but I fell someone watching me
I look around, the street is bare nobody there
I wonder what it could be
As I turned to walk away
Suddenly I saw his face
Never minding that we were alone
Didnt care about the time, at the moment I was felling fine
I was looking into strangers eyes
(he caught me by surprise)
They looked right through me
(he looking into my eyes)
Never knew
Never, ever thought that love could be
(thats when he came)
He came and captured me
Like a scene out of a dream, I cant believe it
Kind of strange and familiar
But in his eyes I get a sign, I get a feeling
I get the feeling he knows me
Maybe I could stay a while, maybe I could make you smile
I dont have much to do
Maybe we could walk awhile
Maybe, maybe we could talk awhile
Cant help looking into strangers eyes
I was looking into strangers eyes
(he caught me by surprise)
They looked right through me
(he looked into my eyes)
Never knew
Never, ever thought that love could be
(thats when he came)
He came and captured me
How was I to know this would happen
Thought I didnt know I would meet this stranger
Its the kind of thing that dreams are made of
And I keep thinking about strangers eyes
I was looking into strangers eyes
(he caught me by surprise)
They looked right through me
(he looked into my eyes)
Never knew
Never, ever thought that love could be
(thats when he came to me)
He came and captured me

All For You
I had a walk the other day
To meet someone I think you know
The air was cold
Skies were so grey
Somebody lay on the ground below
All for you
All for you
All for you
Came face to face
Felt so uneasy
Oh so confused as whats going on
Just could not move
Feel so affaid
Whisper the words
The words were said
All for you
All for you
All for you
Into the street
People can meet
Dont turn your back to the view
The silver blade can cut up your throat
I tell you now
cause I know its true
All for you
All for you
All for you
I had to walk the other day
To meet someone
All for you

They're Not Suited Totally
Two strangers,
Too soon meet...
To agree,
No one else can match their needs.
Two strangers,
Too soon meet...
To soon discover,
They're not suited totally!
After feeding sexual needs,
They're not suited totally.
Petty issues raises heat.
And they're not suited totally.
There's no cure or remedy,
That will make two strangers see...
Eye to eye,
As days go by.
Two strangers,
Too soon meet...
To agree,
No one else can match their needs.
Two strangers,
Too soon meet...
To soon discover,
They're not suited totally!
Between them there's no history.
And two strangers will never see...
Eye to eye,
As days go by.
After feeding sexual needs,
They're not suited totally.
Petty issues raises heat.
And they're not suited totally.
There's no cure or remedy,
And soon two strangers will agree...
Between them there's no chemistry.
And one of them wishes to leave.
Since there is no history.
And two strangers will never see...
Eye to eye,
As days go by.
Two strangers...
They're not suited totally!
Between them there's no history.
Communication from them leaves.
And two strangers will never see...
Eye to eye,
As days go by.
Two strangers.
Between them there's no history.
And two strangers will soon agree,
That they're not suited totally!
Because there is no chemistry.
