Everything Happens For A Reason
For Suzy
Who gave me the title and suggested I write it.
Everything happens for a reason
when something in our lives
changes and we walk
a different road.
We don’t question
why we took a different route we just do it.
When I joined a western re-enactment group
and was called upon to play a priest.
Little did I know
that down the road a bit
I would be able
through my words of comfort
to help people in distant lands.
Nor did I realise
that a chance meeting
with an old classmate on the Internet
would take me in a new direction
and help me fulfil a lifelong dream.
Making me look to the future
out the depth of despair.
What is next?
I don’t really know,
only whatever happens
it will happen for a reason
and I won’t know
the reason just yet.
Therefore in every life
there are turning points,
a new road we must travel.
The reason for it
will remain a mystery
until we reach the answer,
as everything happens for a reason.

I Love....
i love...
that's the reason i walk,
the reason i breathe.
the reason i grieve.
the reason i dance.
the reason i smile.
the reason i listen.
the reason i offer a hand.
the reason i see beauty.
the reason i see both darkness,
and light....
the reason i take chances.
the reason i keep going.
the reason i get angry.
the reason i forgive.
the reason i touch.
the reason i question.
the reason i believe.
the reason i am tolerant.
the reason i understand.
the reason i fall.
the reason i fly.
the reason i write...
the reason i am what i am!

One Good Reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Like a thief youve stolen
Like rain on a grave
Like a priest whos spoken
But failed to save
Now the air is empty
And the ground the same
Love has gone to be buried
Beside my name
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Why couldnt you have told me
About your liars kiss
I cant believe youd leave me
At a time like this
And the wind is howling
And its a dying dream
And my faith is silent
While my doubts scream
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
And Ill be there
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
Give me one good reason
That I should care

One Reason To Believe
Lighting candles in the church of my choice, loving strangers in the dark
Looking for someone to give me what I lack
Searching for something 'till you showed me the gun in my back
I'm human and I need it, I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love, yeah
And I love you 'cause you showed me a merciful release
I'm living this time and I know you gave me the reason
Chorus:
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (to believe), one reason (my baby)
One reason (it's all I need), one reason (to believe)
One reason (my baby), one reason
Trying to get faith from the eight fifty paperbacks
Hoping they'll show me the way (the way to what?)
Man in a crisis, a young girl in his bed
She's trying to help him when she tells him it's all in his head
I'm human and I need it, I must have my beliefs
I open myself to the love, yeah
I love you 'cause you showed me a merciful release
I'm living this time and I know you gave me the reason
chorus
I bow to the east or I kneel to the west, it's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
chorus
(Solo)
One reason, one reason, one reason, one reason
I bow to the east or I kneel to the west, it's a matter of faith
I'm the only one who has to believe it
One reason (to believe), one reason (you're the one)
One reason (one reason), one reason (my baby)
One reason (that's all I need), one reason (to believe)
One reason (to believe), one reason (just give me one)
One reason (one reason), one reason (to believe)
One reason (it's all I need), one reason (my baby)
One reason (my baby), one reason (my baby)
One reason (you are the reason), one reason
One reason (that's all I want), one reason (that's all I need)...

Keep On Walking
Seems like I was always running
From someone or something
So scared what life could hold
Didn't even want to know
Each day I would stand against it
Put up my defences
Wouldn't let nobody inside
Then you walking in my life
[CHORUS:]
Your love is
All I know
Never let you go
Baby with you
I choose my road
All my life
You're the reason why
Baby with you
I walk that road
Now nothing can defeat me
Knowing you complete me
You make me
Stronger every day
You lead me all the way
Anything you wanna do
I'll be there beside you
As long as
You don't leave
My dreams are guaranteed
[Repeat chorus]
Never let you go
Baby with you
I choose my road
All my life
You're the reason why
Baby with you
I walk that road

I Will Carry You
Michael w. smith/ eric laughlin
We were never meant to walk this road alone. lets begin to stand in the gap for one another.
Sometimes I wonder if my beating heart has a reason
The thought of breathing only takes my breath away
Ive spent so many nights wrestling with this feeling
Do I have the strength to make it through the day
But I was never meant
To walk this road alone
I can always trust you
When you say
I will carry you
Be your strength
And pull you through
Reach for me
And take my hand
We will pray
And we will stand
In a world
Crying out for peace
Let your heart be strong
For when I am weak
You will carry me
Sometimes you wonder if the road youre on has a reason
Its hard to go on when you just dont know
We can shoulder all the weight of life between us
Until the fear of what we cannot see is gone
cause we were never meant
To walk this road alone
We are bound together
When we say...

Reasons
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without reason
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Without reason
Little children dont you feel so sad
When you come home feeling lost and bad
You got a reason, oh you got a reason
Oh woman, I gave my heart to you
When I found out what youve been through
You got a reason, oh you got a reason
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without a reason in your heart
How could you know?
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Without a reason in my heart
How could you know?
(I know)
When they find you crying sorrows tears
And its too late after all these years
You got a reason, gimme that reason
Its boys be strong and girls be weak
But children, careful how you speak
You got a reason, gimme that reason
Many lives they come, many lives they go
Without a reason in your heart
How could you know?
In my heart I know I cannot let go
Gotta reason in my heart and dont you know?
I believe in love
I believe in you baby
What about love?
Give it to me, you gotta give me a reason baby
Little children dont you feel so bad
When you come home feeling lost and sad
You gotta reason
Believe it in your heart and it will show

It is better to obey the mysterious direction, without any fuss, when it points to a new road, however strange that road may be. There is probably as much reason for it, if the truth were known, as for anything else.

And for no reason
and for no reason
I start to sing;
for no reason
I flick the duster
as if I’m in some song-and-dance act;
for no reason
I stop; sit down; fall silent;
for no reason
get up again; do something else
with a light heart;
for what has reason
to do with all this?
it always arrives just a moment too late
to enjoy such events.

You Are The Reason Why
you are the one that i love
you are the one that i need
you are the one i want to be with
you are the one i will fight for
you are the reason why
i am breathing today
you are the reason why
i could walk again
you are the reason why
i am not afraid of death
you are the reason why
i can't go back and love another
you are someone i could not leave without
you are the one i wish i could have for the rest of my life
you are the reason why
i'm alive
you are the reason why
i could fight against enemies...

I've no answer...
Honeyed words
Shared till then
Assume sourness
In no time
If you ask me the reason
I’ve no answer
Melody to ears till then
Block the ears
With jarring notes
In no time
If you ask me the reason
I’ve no answer
The hands
Clasped till then
Get unclasped
In no time
If you ask me the reason
I’ve no answer
The eyes that spoke of
Simple love and affection
Till then, assume daggers
In no time
If you ask me the reason
I’ve no answer
Life simply strays
From its short
And sweet interludes
In no time
If you ask me the reason
I’ve no answer
Several abrupt shifts
Creep into lives
Creating unfathomable chasms
Immeasurable distances
Cutting edges
Just for no reason
And then
Silence hangs around
Like a noose
Silence hangs about
Like a knife
If you ask me the reason
Promise...even now, I’ve no answer

A reason to live
A man's reason to live is his very reason to die. His reason to live is his reason to sacrifice by his reason to love. His reason to love is his reason to die. If he died it would be a great sacrifice by reason of his faith. Then that reason of faith is substantiated if that love is good. Therefore his faith is purposeful.
A dangerous man has no reason to live and therefore no reason to love as all is lost. If that man has no love he has no reason for faith and he has no reason of faith because there is no love. He will give up his life easily. Look at the ones who love you and you will have the reason to live. That reason to live is what makes you believe in life. Therefore by reason of love you have faith and by reason of faith you have life. - John 17: 3

Those That KNow Reasoning
You cannot have what isn't yours
You cannot give what isn't yours
You cannot take what wasn't given to you
You cannot own what belongs to no one
You cannot buy what is not for sale
You cannot discover something when there are already people there
You cannot earn something that is worthless
You cannot celebrate victories never won
You should not die for no reason
You should not hate for no reason
You should not quarrel for no reason
You should not defend for no reason
You should not kill for no reason
You should not murder for any reason
You should not destroy for the sake of destruction
You should not build for the sake of building
You should dance for no reason
You should laugh for no reason
You should smile for no reason
You should love for no reason
You should go for the sake of traveling
You should know for the sake of knowing
You should venture out or you will stagnate
You should respect Mother Nature
You should share the planet for it is all we have
You should make peace for this is reason
In war there are no winners, only those who are left
Death, life, love, friends, and family are the only thing worthwhile in existence worthy of celebration

Listen Mister
Written by: myles goodwyn
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
I can see inside your head
To the back of your mind, yeah
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Here I am on my knees
And not afraid of dieing
Suddenly it occurs to me
There was really no sense in trying
Yes I know it seems strange to you
But its our way of living
I cant see for the life of me
Why youre so afraid to reason
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
Things just arent like they use to be
Nd theres no sense in tryin
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see

Fundamental of Liar Chapter III: Reason
A lie with no reason is a wolf lie*
A lie with good reason is a white lie
A lie with bad reason is a crime
A reason without single lie is a theory
A reason with good lie is an escape
A reason with bad lie is a fizz
A lie with smart reason is a manipulation
A lie with fool reason is a shame
A reason with smart lie is a temptation
A reason with fool lie is a possessive
*a boy that always lies that there's a wolf, till the wolf really comes and nobody trust the boy.

Reason
Some people never learn
Keep taking every turn
A little fast
Thinking nothing ever lasts
Descending (?) oh so sweet
Keep playing in my sleep
But when I wake
I can never recall a thing
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Something is crying out
Through voices in my tears
Hear the voice crying out
In the strangest memories
Never mind
And reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Sorry to disappoint you
I never said that I could tell right from wrong
So don't put your faith on me now
I'll leave you in suspension
Till you fall
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this short life that we lead
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything

The reason i want death?
The reason i want death?
That is a simple question.
The reason i want death?
Is it becuz im emo?
The reason i want death?
Cuz she's gone now.
The reason i want death?
Cuz im not loved.
The reason i want death?
Cuz i love her.
The reason i want death?

A Reason
Picture's of you in a evening gown
lost like a king without his crown
here I am, I abide
some day for you to be by my side
longing for your every touch
these feeling's so abrupt
there in your arms I would like to hide
lost only in your world forever
with dreams shared together
never to be absense
My heart so erupt
you took away every dejection
took me another direction
erased away every acrimony
that kept me so desolate
for you I would do the same
in this moment of essence
it just seems so decorous
in these times of despair
you gave me a reason to be
in times of regret
Only love could kill a demon
that's why you're my salvation
you taught me how to love
gave me a reason to care
a reason to move on
to look to the skies above
a reason to share
one more reason to dance
a reason to call out your name
Your heart and body abused
feeling you were used
still you were the one to apologize
with sadness in your eyes
torn and bruised
no more will you live in shame
Like peacocks that prance
and strut upon this stage
you keep me in a trance
gave a reason for one more chance
as we turn another page
I could love you so much
in a heaven so glorious
