A Mystery Tour
I went to see a friend
who lives about fifty miles away.
My sense of direction being what it is,
I took a wrong turn
and went on a mystery tour.
I found some interesting places
as I was trying to find my way.
The problem is will I remember them
the next time I pass this way.

Right Direction
Standing on this dusty road
Listening to my radio
If you could see, Id know you swear
Im a thousand miles from anywhere
Well it may seem stong insane to you, baby
But I guess its just what I gotta do
Just to get myself to where you are
Dont you know I traveled many times as far
Well I hope Im headed in the right direction
Got no time for making wrong decisions
What could give me such a sense of mission
Only love..... couldve brought me here
In the right direction
Well it takes a strong man and a mighty wind
To send me off to the places Ive been
It takes more than one of a tales to tell, baby
Searching for some weak will
And im, hope Im headed in the right direction
Got no time for making wrong decisions
What could give me such a sense of mission
Only love..... couldve brought me here
Everybody knows that love will make you crazy
Make you play the fool thats sotoxicated
So dont you be surprised if one leaves the afternoon
I come knocking on your door baby
Cause you know Im not a mule
Well I may not pass this way again
And if I do, I dont know when
But it seems to me, unless Im wrong, baby
Our paths will cross before too long
Well I hope Im headed in the right direction
Got no time for making wrong decisions
What could give me such a sense of mission
Only love..... shouldve brought me here
(repeat 2x)
Only love can set me off in the right direction
(repeat until fade)

Always Remember
Always remember
your heart and mine,
remember September
when they were entwined.
Always remember
the love we had then
before the blowing
of an ill wind.
Always remember
the glow in our eyes,
how the fire danced
like evening fireflies.
Always remember
as we grow old
the love of September
when we were young.
Always remember
if one of us should pass,
we will meet again beyond the sunset
when our turn comes to pass.
Always remember
from this day on,
that our love for one another
will never be gone.

You've Got A Friend In Me
You've got a friend in me.
You've got a friend in me.
When the road looks rough ahead,
And you're miles and miles from your nice warm bed.
You just remember what your old pal said.
Boy, you've got a friend in me.
Ya, you've got a friend in me.
You've got a friend in me.
You've got a friend in me.
You've got your troubles, I got 'em too.
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you.
We stick together we can see it through,
Cause you got a friend in me.
You got a friend in me.
Some other folks might be a little bit smarter than I am.
Bigger and stronger too.
Maybe, but none of them will ever love you the way I do,
It's me and you, boy.
And as the years go by,
our friendship will never die.
We'll both see it's our destiny.
You've got a friend in me.
You got a friend in me.
You got a friend in me

Mystery Of Love
Seasons are changing
Children of love are alive
People reach out to survive
Together
Love is the message
We carry across the sky
Down through the passage of
Time forever
History unfolds
As this storys told
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Coming to rescue
Rescue me
A man and a woman
Lost in each others embrace
Star-crossed in time in a place
Far away
Innocent dreamers
Turning the wheels of chance
Searching to find romance
Forever
We will surely find
Love is for all time
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key
Down through the history
Of love
Time is the one that holds
The answer
(and its) the mystery of love
Oh, will it set me free
For all time
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key
Down through the history
Of love
Time is the one that holds
The answer
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key...

This Month Messiah
I'm just a pilgrim here looking for holy ground
I'm just a body lost but my soul can be found
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon
I don't know where to turn when answers all fade clear
But I must find a place there's only questions here
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon
I feel...feel like I'm on trial
Who made a judge of you
Are you this month's messiah
I am a fightin' man tired of living under the gun
But am I looking for love or am I looking to run
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon
I heard...I heard it on the wire
That it's all up to you
Are you this month's messiah
How many miles to go
How many miles to babylon

The Connection
I stayed in town for a while
Watching cars pass me by
And I'm trying not to get too high
But then I realised
Is there only one direction
Is there only right from wrong
Got to make the right connection
On my own
I never said you would cry
But I lied, now I lied
Now he's crying just to get by
Just to find, find out why
There is only one direction
There is only right from wrong
Got to make the right connection
On their own
I stuck around for a while
Watch the grass getting high
And I try not to think for a while
But then I had to smile
Cos there's only one direction
Is there only one way home
Got to make the right connection
On their own

Looking
I'm standing here..
On the threshold of change.
Standing on a precipice
High as the sky
Thin as a hair
Sharp as a razor.
And, I'm looking below
One wrong move, and, I'll be cut to pieces..
I don't know
Where to look anymore..
I've looked high and low
In the eyes of strangers
I never found me, and I haven't found you.
I'm worried and scared
If I make one wrong move
Walk into the desert
Where instead of sand,
Shards of glass wait to cut me.
Here's the problem though
I'm already cut in two.
What good would it do
To make me bleed more?
I've forgotten why
I began this journey
Was I searching for you
Or looking for a better me?
I've forgotten that
I wasn't afraid of heights
I was never afraid of looking down or around.
But, then, I had wings
Which
Since then,
Have been clipped away.
I've forgotten to
Enjoy myself
I'm not blaming you though
It's not your fault.
You were something
I never anticipated.
I wish you would go
Let me look around.
Stop blocking my view.
I need to see the truth.
Let me find myself again
Continue my journey.
I need to retrace my steps
To where I took a wrong turn.
Feel for my old footing
See familiar ground.
I refused to believe that it was a race
Now everyone is finished
And I still haven't finished the crossing line...
I don't feel like a looser
Just a reluctant participant.
I don't like being dragged
Pulled in a direction foreign to me
The taste of this is
Unpalatable to me.
Find me.
When you do,
Remember this..
I carry my own wounds
Of battles I've lost and won
Don't judge me for a life you didn't live
And,
I promise..
I haven't been perched on a higher plane
From which..
I'd be looking down
And
Judging you.

Eyeing
Yo it all started later
With the punk alligator
And Hailey was staring at me like an underappreciater
Like i didn't give a **** about what i had
And knew nothin about rap or gettin mad
Until i met LP, 50 and everone else
Went to the tour and then found kelp
Playin at the football places
McNabb and people with braces
At the stadiums open crowds
Birds in the sky, destroyin the mounds
Hope we sell out, dont want no ****
I don't want to **** to get nuttin out of it
It Is The Eyeing Tour
This Is Where You Get More
This Is The Eyeing Tour
Don't Deny It Or Get Your Neck Sore
Yo, yo, yo,
Get yo *** up!
Yo, yo, yo,
Get yo *** up!
Went to the Encore
With J to the Z
Everyone staring and talkin **** about me
I don't want to **** when i have a fast buck
Don't tell me my tracks suck
Cuz you cant do better (so)
yo, yo, yo,
Get yo *** up!
yo, yo, yo,
Get yo *** up!
It Is The Eyeing Tour
This Is Where You Get More
This Is The Eyeing Tour
Don't Deny It Or Get Your Neck Sore
Here we start at the football place
Don't diss me or your the disgrace
Somtin wrong, somtin out of place
Hailey tells me that i've lost the race!
Am i too late?
Have i reached the gate?
Where i retire or die
I can't be late!
This won't be my last tour
But just to make sure
Come around or get yo neck sour
Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo!
yo, yo, yo,
Get you *** up!
yo, yo, yo,
Get you *** up!
yo, yo, yo,
Get you *** up!
yo, yo, yo,
Get yo *** blump!
Get ready for the stump!
I don't want to go plump!
(plump, plump, plump)
Yo, Eyeing Tour
Do You Want More?
Yo, Eyeing Tour
Do You Want More?
Get yo ****** *** up!

The Mystery Of The Mystery
There are so many things that I dont understand
And I search my mind to try to find an answer
But the more I search the less I seem to find out why
Like where where the wind goes, how does life begin
What happens when we die
The mystery of the mystery must stay unknown
Only God can know and man must not see
Great minds have tried but they will not find
The answer to the mystery of the mystery
Man will seek the mystic rails of the mystery
But their silent halls reveal not a sound
Many men will give their lives just to try to find
The answer to a mystery in their mind
The mystery of the mystery must stay unknown
Only God can know and man must not see
Great minds have tried but they will not find
The answer to the mystery of the mystery

Surprises 2
Life is filled with surprises
and I have had my fair share of them.
Imagine going to a friend’s funeral
and months down the line,
you end up marrying his widow.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine after fifty-six years
discovering you had a brother
you never knew you had.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine going to school with someone
you never remember speaking to
and then fifty-one years later
they become your best friend.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Imagine this friend
introducing you to a friend of theirs
and between them both
turn your life around.
Yes, that has happened to me.
Surprises happen when you least expect them,
they can happen anytime anywhere.
You can never predict when they will occur,
they just happen for a reason,
a reason for which we are never sure.
However, never turn your back on them;
count them as a blessing
that might never come again.

Turn It On
Written by m. chapman & h. knight
I shake and I shiver when you reach for me
And the pearls on the bottom of the deep blue sea
The way you deliver you could make me free
As I get lost is the riddle of your mystery
Who will you find to love you
Nobody quite like me
Its not the way you walk
Must be the way you talk
So turn it on, turn it on
Baby turn it on
Maybe you need me
Turn it on, when Im weak
Baby make me strong
Oh when youre gone
I get lost baby I go wrong
So turn it on, let it loose
Baby all night long
If you need me
From the ship Ive been sailing
I was cast away
I was slipped off your fingers
And I had to stay
Direction failing and my heart at sea
And that look in your eyes meant for me
Where would I be without you
Why would I ever leave
Could it be the way you touch
You make me want so much

Purpose In Life
Some people as they pass me by, live each day and know not why,
Why they deal with the daily strife, or the true meaning of their life.
Their purpose in life is not clear, or why on earth they’re even here.
Many of them accepted the lie, that you go nowhere when you die.
To then everyday is the same, only each day has a different name.
And the weeks, they don’t change, a different week is still the same.
As their weeks turn into months, they question life’s true relevance.
And as the months turn into years, the end of this life slowly nears.
There is nothing in their past, or nothing ahead they think will last.
If any of this seems to describe, any feelings that you have inside,
You can instead fill your life, with a purpose that is found in Christ.
He will enter your life my friend, and give you direction and an end.
This end is only found in Christ, for this end in Him is Eternal Life.
The direction that your life will take, fills the void, make no mistake.
Friend, even if your life is amiss, Christ will give it Eternal Purpose.
Make Christ your Lord and Savior, and He’ll give you a new nature.
You’ll have no more empty days, as Christ fills the void with praise.
Friend you’ll have no Misgivings, as life in Christ is life worth living.
For when you are Heaven bound, a new joy on this earth is found.
And far from that eternal abyss, in the end you enter Eternal Bliss.
Wrong Direction Home
In a shingle covered cottage at the foothills of blue stacks
Near a mountain stream thats flowing crystal clear
Where the humming birds and honey bees feed on mamas roses
My memries just grow sweeter with the years
Memries of my childhood are as sweet as mountain honey
And as fresh as a dew on morning glory vines
I grew up surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature
And theyre forever present in my mind
But Im headed in the wrong direction home
Headed in the wrong direction home
Theres no place like home
But Im headed in the wrong direction home
Teardrops mingled with the summer rain that was a falling
The day I left my mountain home behind
With a suitcase in my hand and a hope in my heart
I was following a dream I had to find
In that shingled covered cottage at the foothills of the smokies
Waits a family hat Im longing to see
And mountain streams and fields of green
And rolling hills stay in my dreams
But Im many, many miles from tennessee
And still headed in the wrong direction home
Headed in the wrong direction home
But maybe Ill get back before too long
But Im headed in the wrong direction home

My Angel
I found a friend
Who always knows something's wrong before I do
I found a friend
Who has listened to everything I say
I found a friend
Who is beautiful and doesn't know it
I found a friend
Who is kind, and caring, and funny
I found a friend
Who loves me for being me
I found a friend
Who tries to understand me
I found a friend
Who loves to give me compliments
I found a friend
Who keeps the guys from annoying me
I found a friend
Who loves being around me even though people talk
I found a friend
Who is kind, and mature, and amazing
These two friends
I'm lucky to have
These two friends
I will always have
These two friends
Help me in different ways
These two friends were sent to me from above...

It makes sense
When controversy surrounds
and things blow out of proportion
remember,
that tranquility still makes sense
When tension surrounds
and mind gets exhausted
remember,
that patience still makes sense
When mystery surrounds
and logic takes a backseat
remember,
that reality still makes sense
When laughter surrounds
and the vox gets too loud
remember,
that silence still makes sense
When darkness surrounds
and the heart gets out of rhythm
remember,
that hope still makes sense

Dont Turn Me Away
(graham russell)
We shared such a special love
It seemed to have no end
But now it hurts me just to remember
Your eyes used to tell me so much
That words could never find
And now you say you dont know
Where your future lies
But youve got to find it now
Or get left behind
(chorus)
Please dont turn me away
I cant forget it all in just one day
Take some time to speak your mind
But say its not over
Please dont turn me away
Dont close the door on us this way
Im so sure that theres much more
You just have to tell me
Remember those fireside nights
Its not that long ago
You said you wanted to stay there forever
I have you the strength of my hand
When things were running low
I didnt know you would go back on
What you said
There must be some reasons there
That you dont want to share
(chorus)
Please dont turn me away
I cant forget it all in just one day
Take some time to speak your mind
But say its not over
Please dont turn me away
Dont close the door on us this way
Im so sure that theres much more
You just have to tell me
And just when you needed me
I said Id be there until the end
What is it thats changed in you
When all I want is to be your friend
( I need a friend )
Dont turn me away
