A Million Miles Away
Blossom fills the trees with colour,
birds sing in the treetop high,
the sun bathes the world with warmth
and brightens up the sky.
Children run about,
enjoying the summer sun,
their parents look on,
remembering when they were young.
For a while the world is content,
to enjoy another beautiful new day.
Thoughts of raining storm clouds
seem a million miles away.

My Canadian Chronicles 19
Sitting in the sunshine
enjoying the silence of the day.
Relaxing, as all my worries
seem a million miles away.
I don’t want reality to ever kick in
as I sit enjoying the sunshine
on a peaceful summer’s day.
I am enjoying all nature’s natural sounds
like the birds chirping in the trees.
Enjoying summers stance
as the smell of new mowed grass
perfumes the summer day.
It is just like heaven
relaxing on a summer’s day.

The Great Escape
Although the songs the birds sing are
Melodious and benign and
Locusts joyfully repeat their summer's tune-
Leaves upon the trees are emerald and their limbs reach for the sky-
The grass has never been greener- and
Clouds contrast with the oceanic blueness of the sky- Even though
Summer would be the favorite time of year for so many people,
At this time this world has become a foreign and terrifying place to me.
My mind has been lost in the clouds,
Not within the fair clouds that decorate the sky, but
Within the ashen and sallow clouds of hell-
From the window of the vault that contains me
I can see people seemingly worshiping the sun,
However, to me the rays of the sun are somewhat blinding, if not otherwise
Brightening all that is terrifying to see-
Cars racing raucously down the streets without a care- and shining upon
All of the people who would wish me none but harm-
If I were to step outside in this moment-
The sun would sear my flesh and its rays would invade my mind in
A devastating and intrusive sort of way-
People would follow behind me mocking me and
Attempting to rob me of my thoughts as their eyes penetrate mine in
A criminal and invasive manner-
The songs the birds sing are indeed benign and sweetly melodious as
Locusts continue to hum their tune- these sounds are placating as
Are the sight of the grass, trees and the cobalt blue sky-
But somewhere along my journey through this life,
I was robbed of my own place in this world, as well as some have told me
I was deprived of my sanity-
If I could become one of these birds and lift my wings to fly away
High above to lose myself inside the beautiful clouds in the sky and to
Abandon the ashen clouds of hell- perhaps in the sky I would find another world there-
A world suited for me alone- I could still hear the birds and the locusts-
Chanting their tunes with the angels, unaware of the world below -as
My eyes would be blinded to people looking upward toward the sky.
The loss of my sanity would become a blessing because it would mean
I have finally found a place devoid of all harm and infringement because
When I lose myself inside the world of my thoughts and dreams,
The real world which is filled with evil, lack of compassion and cruelty
Totally disappears and I can be content as I have finally found freedom from fear…

When You Say Yes To Me
when you say yes
to me
and i say
hurray!
ah! my world has become
my world and your world
has become my world too
the mountains move
the sun brightens and dances
the moon keeps on smiling
the stars keep on winking
the grasses fill the emptiness
the rivers sing
the seas keep on waving
the clouds are not nimbus
ah! whatever that be
i know, that our world shall be
as beautiful as we are meant to be.

The seasons of life
It is so good to hear all the birds sing
and to feel the lovely warmth of spring.
To see beautiful flowers bursting through
and know that winter is now behind you.
To see the garden blossom more each day
and to know that summer is on its way.
Each season depicts life's various stages
for as time passes so the body ages.
The Springtime speaks of birth and youthful zeal.
Summer of warmth and loves attractive appeal.
Autumn of thinning hair and changing colour.
Winter tells us the cycle will soon be over.
Then with Jesus we'll hear the angels singing
as we enter heaven with new life springing.
No more affected by the aging process
for life everlasting in Him we'll possess.
South Side Of The Sky
A river a mountain to be crossed
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
Around the south side so cold that we cried
Were we ever colder on that day a million
Miles away
It seemed from all eternity
Move forward was my friends only cry
In deeper to somewhere we could lie
And rest forthe the day with cold in the way
Were we ever colder on that day a million
Miles away
It seemed from all eternity
The moments seemed lost in all the noise
A snow storm a stimulating voice
Of warmth of the sky of warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day a million
Miles away
We seemed from all eternity
The sunshine in mountains sometimes lost
The river can disregard the cost
And melt in the sky warmth when you die
Were we ever warmer on that day a million miles away
We seemed from all of eternity

Young And Beautiful
So young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
U're so young and beautiful
U're so full of life - everybody knows
That's why they try 2 take advantage of u...
but u don't have 2 do what the other ones do
U're so cool - the world at your feet,
they only want ur virginity
Keep ur clothes on and ur chastity
until u find the one that's worth it baby
So young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
U're so fine my heart's just pounding
If I had the chance 2 lay u down,
I'd probably take a rain check 'til next summer
cuz I don't wanna b like all ur other lovers
young and beautiful
young and beautiful
So young and beautiful
I'm hippin' u 2 the game darlin'
so that u'll always remain
young and beautiful
young and beautiful
oh yeah

The Young Blossom
Bright, young dreams, flourished in the blossom
An old and beautiful orchard its mother
Ideas smother into form, the motherly tree stained by splotches of her lucid dream
Decorated by the exuberance of warriors, the amorous songs of birds, the tree is acute, shining like a simile to the sun.
Then there comes a storm, hectic chariots with their hoofs of lightning, engulf the land and green decays to black,
Families disband, unity undone
Mother separated from her only son
Blossom leaves flee, under the sway to be set free
The iridescent paintings become shabby and scattered
The colour loosing its glee
The young blossom, wet with tears
Wrinkled and tattered, scuffled and torn
Found its fate among the decadence
Of anything beautiful and lofty borne

Nobody Ought To Be
I think God made this world so big,
So that nobody has to be alone-
A kind for everyone, everyone its kind
Cause nobody ought to be alone.
Two of everything, sometimes more,
Every species, all things alike-
A kind for everyone, everyone its kind
Cause nobody ought to be alone.
The clouds have the sky, and when they disagree
In the storm, there’s always the sun that shines-
The fish have the sea, and when its waves
Gets rough, there’s always the coral to hide.
The king his queen, the bee its hive,
The birds sing of one another-
In a world so big, there’s no reason why,
Cause nobody ought to be alone.
The husband his wife, the girl a boy,
Sometimes perhaps a friend-
In a world so big, there’s no reason why,
Cause nobody ought to be alone.
The jewels the gem, the grass the trees,
Everything has its own-
In a world so big, there’s no reason why,
Cause nobody ought to be alone, alone-
Cause nobody ought to be alone.

One World
One world is enough, for all of us
One world is enough, for all of us
Its a subject we rarely mention
But when we do we have this little invention
By pretending theyre a different world from me
I show my responsibility
One world is enough, for all of us
One world is enough, for all of us
The third world breathes our air tomorrow
We live on the time we borrow
In our world theres no time for sorrow
In their world there is no tomorrow
One world is enough, for all of us
One world is enough, for all of us
Lines are drawn upon the world
Before we get our flags unfurled
Whichever one we pick
Its just a self deluding trick
One world is enough, for all of us
One world is enough, for all of us
I dont want to bring a sour note
Remember this before you vote
We can all sink or we all float
cause were all in the same big boat
One world is enough for all of us
One world is enough for all of us
One world is enough for all of us
One world is enough for all of us
It may seem a million miles away

When i was young
It seemed that life was wonderful
A miracle
Oh it was beautiful
Magical
All the birds in the trees
They could sing so happily
So joyfully
Oh playfully watching me
Good mourning!
Yeaaaaah!
One, two... one, two, three, four!
Pump it up!
Aaaah!
Rmb no remmy no skippy no fate yeah
Wind me jam for the microphone and busy with the dj
Jungless in the place
Jungless on the case

When i was young
It seemed that life was wonderful
A miracle
Oh it was beautiful
Magical
All the birds in the trees
They could sing so happily
So joyfully
Oh playfully watching me
Yeah!
When i was young
It seemed that life was wonderful
A miracle
Oh it was beautiful
Magical
All the birds in the trees
They could sing so happily
So joyfully
Oh playfully watching me
Come on!

Enchantment of Summer
There is an enchantment that comes with Summer,
An enchantment that fills the heart,
And it is displayed in every garden
Of villages, towns, and hamlets miles apart.
There is an enchantment that comes with Summer,
With luster of flowers and the green foliage of trees,
In the chirrup of the robin and whistle of the quail,
And colorful butterflies and swarming honeybees.
There is an enchantment that comes with Summer,
An enchantment for all ages - old and young,
For it seems that people are happier and cheerful
When the intermittent songs of birds are sung.
There is an enchantment that comes with Summer,
When life is like a story - neither sob nor sigh,
The music of the laughing lip - the luster of the eye,
The glad belief in everything as Summer goes by.

The Den o' Fowlis
Beautiful Den o' Fowlis, most charming to be seen
In the summer season, when your trees are green;
Especially in the bright and clear month of June,
When your flowere and shrubberies are in full bloom.
There visitors can enjoy themselves during the holidays,
And be shaded by the trees from the sun's rays,
And admire the beautiful primroses that grow there;
And inhale their sweet perfume that fills the air.
There the little children sport and play,
Blythe and gay during the live-long summer day,
In its beautiful green and cool shady bowers,
Chasing the bee and butterfly, and pulling the flowers.
There the Minnows loup and play;
In the little rivulet all the day;
Right in the hollow of that fairy-like Den,
Together in little shoals of nine or ten
And the Mavis and Blackbird merrily sing,
Making the Den with their notes to ring;
From high noon till sunset at night,
Filling the visitor's heart with delight.
Tis most lovely to see the trees arched overhead,
And the little rivulet rolling o'er its pebbly bed,
Ane near by is an old Meal Mill;
Likewise an old Church and Churchyard where the dead lie still.
The Den is always cool in the summer time,
Because it is so closely shaded from the sunshine,
By the spreading branches of the trees,
While the murmuring of the rivulet is heard on the night breeze.
It is a very magnificent spot the Den o' Fowlis,
And where oft the wintry wind it howls,
Among its bare end leafless withered trees,
And with fear wonld almost make one's heart to freeze.
To be walking through it on a dark wintry night,
Because the bare trees seem like spectres to your sight,
And everything around seems dark and drear,
And fills the timid mind with an undefinable fear.
But in the summer season it is most lovely to see;
With its fair flowers and romantic scenery,
Where the people can enjoy themselves all the day,
In the months of July, June, or May.
There the people can drink pure water when they are dry;
From the wells of spring water in the Den near by,
Which God has provided for his creatures in that lonely spot,
And such a blessing to the people shouldn't be forgot.

The Sky-Lark’s Song
WINGED voice to tell the skies of earth,
Dear earth-born lark, sing on, sing clear,
Sing into heaven that she may hear
;Sing what thou wilt, so she but know
Thine ecstasy of summer mirth
And think ''Tis from the world below!'
Instant, old wont returns fresh brought,
And her desire goes seeking me,
For whom her whole world used to be
And all my world for sake of her;
She cannot think an earthward thought
That shall not seem my messenger.
She will be glad for love, and smile,
Saying 'Thank God for joy like ours:
Saying 'There come the kind home hours:
His work-day will be sped ere long,
That keeps him hence this little while.
'Sing, lark, until she know thy song.
Sing of the earth, but sing no care,
Sing thine own measureless content;
She will remember what it meant;
Griefs are too base, but, carolling thus,
Thou with thy joy mayst reach her there,
And she joy too remembering us.

The First Spring Day
I wonder if the sap is stirring yet,
If wintry birds are dreaming of a mate,
If frozen snowdrops feel as yet the sun
And crocus fires are kindling one by one:
Sing, robin, sing;
I still am sore in doubt concerning Spring.
I wonder if the springtide of this year
Will bring another Spring both lost and dear;
If heart and spirit will find out their Spring,
Or if the world alone will bud and sing:
Sing, hope, to me;
Sweet notes, my hope, soft notes for memory.
The sap will surely quicken soon or late,
The tardiest bird will twitter to a mate;
So Spring must dawn again with warmth and bloom,
Or in this world, or in the world to come:
Sing, voice of Spring,
Till I too blossom and rejoice and sing.

Children’s Day 2011
The bud that tried to form some way
Was disallowed from doing so;
The bud that sprung out fine one day
Couldn’t blossom like how others do.
The buds that bloomed into flowers
Got plucked or crushed before they grew;
The flowers that found the rain showers
Got withered unseeded by dew!
When children are future adults on earth,
Why parents choose to play God while in womb?
And kill them mercilessly before birth,
Converting their first home into a tomb!
When love of God has formed them healthy, hale,
Should mom or dad decide their destiny?
And if to Maker unborn tell their tale,
God’s rage will rise supporting the tiny!
Let parents love their kids before their birth;
Let unborn see world’s grandeur that’s God-made;
Let human beings be humane on earth;
Let love of life be prime and hatred fade!
Allow all children to be born and fed;
Give them the love and tender care they need;
Bestow the warmth and human touch in bed;
Let children grow like mammoth trees from seed!
On Children’s Day, let love enter young hearts;
Let children not be unwanted on earth;
Let children not be used as man’s spare-parts;
Let every nation feel proud by their birth!

My Beautiful World
My Beautiful World is kind
My Beautiful World is sweet
My Beautiful World is nice
My Beautiful World is generous
My Beautiful World is selfless
My Beautiful World has given me everything i need, and then some
I love My Beautiful World, and My Beautiful World loves me
I am the only one on My Beautiful World
But i am not lonely, not in the least bit
My Beautiful World and I have each other
But...there is a problem
My Beautiful World is tired
My Beautiful World is sore
My Beautiful world has wounds and scars
Some will never heal
I do everything i can to help
My Beautiful World wants to explode
and the thing is...
I'm still on My Beautiful World
So if she explodes, I explode with her
It would be an honor to go like that...
But that is not how i want it to end
I want to be on My Beautiful World forever
If you haven't figured it out yet
My Beautiful world isn't a world at all
She is a very special person...
who happens to mean the world to me.

In the Rangitaki Valley
valley of waving broom,
O lovely, lovely light,
O hear of the world, red-gold!
Breast high in the blossom I stand;
It beats about me like waves
Of a magical, golden sea
The barren heart of the world
Alive at the kiss of the sun,
The yellow mantle of Summer
Flung over a laughing land,
Warm with the warmth of her body
Sweet with the kiss of her breath
O valley of waving broom,
O lovely, lovely light,
O mystical marriage of Earth
With the passionate Summer sun!
To her lover she holds a cup
And the yellow wine o'erflows.
He has lighted a little torch
And the whole of the world is ablaze.
Prodigal wealth of love!
Breast high in the blossom I stand.
