A Goodbye

I came to say a goodbye
to an old friend,
I have seen occasionally
through the years.
I know that she is still here,
and will be even after
the building has been pulled down.
I have felt her presence
around all the time,
even had the pleasure
of seeing her once or twice.
However, today is the day of reckoning,
and soon I will be moving on.
Therefore, I have come to say a goodbye
to that ghostly friend of mine.

Though we never know
Where life will take us,
I know it's just a ride

My old friend I recall
The times we had are hanging on my wall

There were tears in her eyes when she gave me the news last night
I tried to disguise all the hurt that I felt inside

Goodbye To Love

No one ever cared if I should live or die
Time and time again the chance for love has passed me by
And all I know of love is how to live without it
I just cant seem to find it
