If love is history,
And life, not a mystery,
If truth, is a lie,
And poetry the bane of youth...
What are we, to do?
Have we got the grit to get us through,
The gates of our heaven?
If religion is more than addiction,
And music, an affliction,
And life is a confession,
And inspiration a possession,
I never cried a tear for you,
I never used a can of mace,
The warriors they're like poison,
I guess Auschwitz took their place,

Violence has become a religion,
Where within us we get stuck,
I never did feel groovie,
I never felt like a crook.

It Is A Better World
The day I leave this earth
There will be nobody always to help me in my life
And nobody else will need to look after me here on earth
Because I will be in heaven
In a better place than earth
But I must say that I can't wait for this day to arrive

When tomorrow begins the new day,
I will not be here for you to see.
Please dont let the sun rise
and see the tears you shed for me.
I don't want you to cry for me like you did today.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry.
The way you did today,
I know how much you loved me,

I wake up each morning

and in the air are the smell

Heaven
When I go to Heaven,
When I past the moon and stars,
Who will be waiting for me,
If though, I make it that far.
Will I walk through those pearly gates,
And will I walk on the streets of gold
And will I see my father and brother again,
Though that, I might never know.
And in Heaven will I be happy,
Knowing I have lost my mortal life
Will I be worried or will I feel sad,
Because I have left my son, and wife.
When I arrive in Heaven,

Sunset Somewhere
On angel wings, she has flown
into the sunset somewhere
around the gates of heaven
where she now resides.
Her memory will never leave us
she will always be here
