Looking Back
There you go running this way and that,
You mean well but you haven't thought it through,
You sweat the big tears and cry yourself to sleep when alone,
You forgot that time heels nothing but the heart can heal everything,
You remember enough to feel guilty, but not enough to know why,
Look back man, look back to find and forgive yourself,
I should have waited, I know, but I forgave you anyway,
Please find yourself so that you can forgive me,
Look back man, look back so that we can move forward,
You judged yourself and then forgot why, so now you judge me too,
I know the depth of your heart,
I know the strength of your courage,
You have no fear except of your past,
You have no limits,
You have no need of your regrets,
You think that your love is limitless, but it's stuck in the past,
Keep digging deep within and you will find pain,
Keep digging deep within and you will find Truth,
Keep digging deep within and eventually you will find real love,
Keep digging deep within and you will find peace,
Keep digging deep within and you will find me.

Digging In The Dirt
Something in me, dark and sticky
All the time its getting strong
No way of dealing with this feeling
Cant go on like this too long
{chorus:}
This time youve gone too far [x3]
I told you [x4]
This time youve gone too far [x3]
I told you [x4]
Dont talk back
Just drive the car
Shut your mouth
I know what you are
Dont say nothing
Keep your hands on the wheel
Dont turn around
This is for real
Digging in the dirt
Stay with me, I need support
Im digging in the dirt
To find the places I got hurt
Open up the places I got hurt
The more I look, the more I find
As I close on in, I get so blind
I feel it in my head, I feel it in my toes
I feel it in my sex, thats the place it goes
[chorus]
Im digging in the dirt
Stay with me I need support
Im digging in the dirt
To find the places I got hurt
To open up the places I got hurt
Digging in the dirt
To find the places we got hurt

Find Your Way Back
You know its been a long long road
Since I packed up and left on my own
And I can carry a heavy load
Just try n get back to her heart
I sure aint got no home
I seem to find love where I ramble
And when its time to go
I hear that voice again, say n
Chorus:
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Leave a message with the rain
You can find me where the wind blows
The snow across the pain
And the frost upon the heart
You got no place to be
Still you wonder where youre goin
And why I had to leave
I hear a voice and it says to me
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
To her heart, cmon
I know its too late now
But I wish I could go back in time
And start all over somehow
And get it right from the start
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back
Find your way back to her heart
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back
Find your way back (find your way back) find your way back

Digging Real Deep
Digging real deep,
In empty pockets...
For a touch or a feel of return.
And a lesson's not learned,
That...
A deposit made to dip,
For tasty lips...
Took too many dips,
To withdrawn the end of it.
And there will be no return...
You put that last deposit in your pocket,
And then you split...
With it.
You put that last deposit in your pocket,
And then you split...
With it.
Digging real deep,
In empty pockets...
For a touch or a feel of return.
And a lesson's not learned,
That...
A deposit made to dip,
For tasty lips...
Took too many dips,
To withdrawn the end of it.
Digging real deep,
In empty pockets...
For a touch of return,
IS...
Digging real deep.
Dig!
Digging real deep.
In empty pockets.
Dig!
Digging real deep.
In empty pockets.
Digging real deep,
In empty pockets...
For a touch of return,
IS...
Digging real deep
In empty pockets.
Dig!
Digging real deep.
In empty pockets.
Dig!
Digging real deep.
In empty pockets.
Dig!
Digging real deep.
In empty pockets.
Dig!
Digging real deep,
In empty pockets...
For a touch of return,
Long ago had been burned.

Shaking The Doll
Oh I wont be your pretty baby,
I wont eat from your hand again.
And the man in the white says its alright,
He says, come on girl give up the fight.
Youll go to sleep, there will be no pain.
Well I want to live with myself again.
Well, where we lived there was a lighthouse,
Throwing a white beam into our house,
Over my body when I was sleeping,
Over the secrets I was keeping,
I could tell myself there would be no pain,
But I have to live with myself again.
Im digging up, Im digging up,
Im digging up, Im digging up,
Im digging up, Im digging up,
Im digging in the earth.
Im looking for signs
And Im shaking the dolls
And the fairy-tales lied
And somewhere, back there
I didnt understand,
Man and woman and woman and man.
And Im shaking the dolls
Im shaking the dolls.
Oooh, the dream isnt coming through,
I cant feel for you.
Well somewhere, back there
I didnt understand,
Man and woman and woman and man,
And Im shaking the dolls
Im shaking the dolls.
Oooh I have to live with myself again,
Oohh I want to be with my body again,
Ooohyou cant make me hollow again.
Oooh, the dream isnt coming through
I cant feel for you.
Love, shooting up, through my veins,
I gotta get a hit again.

Digging A Ditch
I'm digging a ditch
Where madness lives
I'm digging a ditch
Where my silence lives
I'm diggin a ditch and when I am through
Digging this ditch I'll dig one for you
Digging a ditch
As black as cold
Digging a ditch
Where I can hide my soul
Digging a ditch
Where my secrets stay

In A Deafening Stubbornness
A resting temporarily,
From a digging of a hole
Dug deep,
Is no cause for celebration.
For those blindfolded,
In a deafening stubbornness they keep.
Especially if the digging done,
Is away from and not towards the light.
And those who enthusiastically dig,
See themselves as making progress.
A progress only they believe,
Can be achieved
Without listening to others,
Standing above them in silhouette
Against the rays of the Sun.
A digging like this continued
Out of listening distance,
Has long ago begun!

Fallen In
She promised me a
“Better life”
As we moved in there
I hated it
Something’s don’t change
For nothing will be the same
After we moved in I lost something
Something so vital in
My upbringing
That I would not be the same person I am today
That something
Would be my family
They turned into just
People I live with
Day to day
The longer we stayed
The longer we got comfortable
The bigger the hole got
And the littler the latter got
At one time the latter was only half as tall as the hole
But we kept on digging and digging and digging
To where the hole is to big to deep
To climb out of
Now it’s as if we all are stuck in the middle
Big hole with no way out
So someone is smothering us
Since we all have
Fallen in

The Diggers
The diggers are digging, and digging deep,
They’re digging and singing,
And I’m asleep.
They’re digging and singing and swiftly they’re swinging
The flying earth as it falls in a heap.
And some of it scatters and falls on my head;
But the diggers dig on. They can only dig.
They can only sing and their eyes are big,
Their eyes are big and heavy as lead.
They dig and they sing and they think I’m dead
The diggers are digging, and filling the hole.
They’re sighing and singing.
They pray for my soul.
I hear what they say, and from where I am lying,
I hear a new corporal calling the roll.
But the diggers dig on and fill in my bed,
They diggers dig on, and they sweat and they sweat.
They sigh and they sign, and their wyes are wet.
The brown earth clatters and covers my head;
Then I laugh and I laugh, for they think that I’m dead.

The Root that Planted Deep
Deep
Deep
Don't run too deep
You may not find the way back home
What are you escaped from?
What you try to avoid
Till you hide in the deep deep forest?
Deep
Deep
Don't think too deep
You will drown in your darkest mind
What are you afraid for?
What you try to fight
Till you are losing where's up and down in deep deep ocean?
Deep
Deep
Don't look too deep
You are being allured by those beautiful eyes
What if the thing you called curse is bound you forever?
What if you finally see
The truth that lays behind the deep deep abbys?
Deep
Deep
Don't fall too deep
You will not be able to ignore it anymore
What will you do if it's going stronger?
What will happen to you
When it becomes the root that planted deep?

Seeking To Avenge Themselves
Digging deep are many seeking,
To avenge themselves...
And others wronging judged.
Today's conflicts,
Have more to do with infighting.
Than any addmission,
About reported threats coming...
From concentrationplace upon terrorists.
And those behind it defend themselves,
With senseless verbal attacks...
Heard from within their sacred domain,
Than directed from outside from someone else.
Digging deep are many seeking,
To avenge themselves...
And others wronging judged.
However...
The ones making these attempts,
Are the very people...
Who began agitating with accusations,
That the ones they wish now to protect...
Were the ones to slander as mavericks and pests.

Digging For Gold
They married on a fancy yacht out on the water
He knew she was young enough to be his daughter
There always questions in the heart of millionaires
Would she make heartfelt promises if the money was not there
And he said, do you love me, baby, do you want me to hold
Or are you just digging for gold
Do you care enough to give me your heart and soul
Or are you just digging for gold
She ran his weary heart through the ringer
And she wore him like the diamond ring around her finger
Well, his advances and affections, she managed to avoid
But, she got the lap of luxury and he got paranoid
And he said, do you love me, baby, do you want me to hold
Or are you just digging for gold
Do you care enough to give me your heart and soul
Or are you just digging for gold, digging for gold
Big house, limousines,
Fine wines, fine cuisines,
Vale and vegas twice a year,
Trips to paris on the leer
Black tuesday when that wall of wealth came crashing down
Bad news day when that little queen had to give back her crown
And he said, hey babe, we can live on love cuz love is worth much more
But he barely got his feelings out, she was half way to the door
And she never even heard him cry
Do you love me, baby, do you want me to hold
Or are you just digging for gold
Do you care enough to give me your heart and soul
Or are you just digging for gold

Dreamgirl
I would dig a hole all the way to china
Unless ofcourse if i was there
then i would dig my way home
if by digging i could steal the wind from the wind from the sails of the greedy men who rule the world
still, you are my best freind
and after a good good drunk
you and me wake up and make love
after a deep sleep where i was dreaming...
Dreamgirl
I was feeling like a creep
as i watched you asleep
face down in the grass in the park in the middle of a hot afternoon
your top was untied and i thought how nice it would be to follow the sweat down your spine
you're like my best freind
after a good good drunk
you and me wake up and make love
after a deep sleep where i was dreaming...
Dreamgirl
Caught by a wave, my back to the ocean
it knocks me off my feet and
just as i find my footing
here you come again, dreamgirl

If You Want To Find Love
He was sitting on a bar stool
A picture from a cheating song
Shed been standing by the jukebox
Dropping quarters all night long.
He said, tell me: are you lonely?
Is there some place we can go?
She said: cowboy, you know Im lonely
But theres something you should know.
If you wanna find gold go looking in the mountains
If you wanna find silver go digging in stones
If you wanna find heaven go reading in the Bible
If you wanna find love go looking at home.
She touched the gold ring on his finger
And held it to the jukebox light
And she said. Stranger, think what youre losing
If you leave here with me tonight.
So he hold her body closer
She felt feelings shed never known
And he said: thank you, for the lesson
And if you need me Ill be at home.
If you wanna find gold go looking in the mountains
If you wanna find silver go digging in stones
If you wanna find heaven go reading in the Bible
If you wanna find love go looking at home...

Take Time
You can have it if you really want
You can grasp it if you have the thought
Feel your power that is deep within
Are you ready ?
On your mark begin
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
Do you feel your life's a big mistake ?
Don't you hate the way it's all so fake ?
All I wanna do is just be real
And get off of the spinning wheel
All they sell us is a pack of lies
And we're buying one in every size
Can't you see it in the children's eyes ?
It's about to get wild
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
Ha yeah
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
Any you want it
You can have it any way you want it
Hey hey
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
Any you want it
You can have it any way you want it
Hey hey
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it

Deep Sleep
Ive been walking in a deep sleep
Sleepwalking but I just woke up
From a deep sleep
A very deep sleep
Ive been running on remote control
In a deep sleep
I awoke the moment I was told
That a smile is just a frown turned around
On the face of a clown with a mean streak
It was a deep sleep
A very deep sleep
I cant remember what I used to know
Somebody help me now and let me go
Into a deep sleep
Push me back now let me go
Into a dream again
To a sleep unlike before
So deep it never ends
Ive been caught inside a deep sleep
Sinking deeper after I forgot
Sleepwalking as I watch myself
In a deep sleep
I keep pretending that its someone else

Deep
blank stare
disrepair
there's a big black hole gonna eat me up someday
(but) someday
fades away
like a memory - or a place that you'd rather be
some place
lost in space
an itch in my head that's telling me somewhere
somewhere
out there anywhere I don't care get me out of here
if I could feel
all the pins and the pricks
if you were real
I could take what's apart and put it all back together now
this will come true
help me get through
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
all I can do
driving me through
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
one track
got you on your back
your skin speaks up but you lips couldn't say it
right now I know somehow
we could take the chance and we could make it make it
right here make it all disappear
everything that we've been missing missing
you make me feel
like there's a part of me
that I want to get back again
make this come true
help me get through
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
all I can do
pushing it through
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
all I can do
driving on through
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
you're slipping through
I'm coming, too
into you
deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep
we could become
two into one
leave this behind
over and done
everything new
I'm getting through
into you

Step Back
How can you say were not together?
How can you say its all the same in someone elses eyes?
How can you say it gives you pleasure?
That someones pulling you aside
But now I want to find out
How youre living outside yourself
And how you feel like the one thats held it all in place
How you dont feel the shame
Youll never know, youll never know now
How to let go the hate or how to hold on
Youll never know, never know now now
Where it all can lead to
Leave it all in the past and move on
You might find your way home
Leave it all in the past and roll on
You might find your way home
How can you stray from your direction?
How can you wait outside the door thats opened up for you?
How can you only see rejection,
When Ive offered all I have to you?
Are you ever gonna find out
Youll never know, never know now now
Where it can all lead to
Leave it all in the past and move on
You might find your way home
Leave it all in the past and roll on
You might find your way home
Step back
Take a closer look
Step back
Find out where it leads you to
Step back step back step back
Leave it all in the past and move on
You might find your way home
Leave it all in the past and roll on
You might find your way home
Leave it all in the past and move on
You might find your way home
Leave it all in the past and roll on
You might find your way home

Soul Deep
Save a prayer for a sinner and a saint, my babys coming back.
Say a prayer, hide hide away yea babys coming back.
Hey hey hey, aint gonna trouble his wandering mind,
Gonna take on the time to find out if my love is
Soul deep - spinning the heart round a wire.
Soul deep - a heavenly wave.
Soul deep - heating the heart like a fire,
Soul deep is taking my breath away-ay-ay.
Save a tear till the curtain will fall,
Well Im saving them all for you.
Knock on wood, is it understood that Im saving it up for you.
Hey hey hey, love is a hustle just a moment behind,
Gonna walk on the line to find out if my love is
Soul deep...
Save a prayer for a sinner and a saint, my babys coming back.
Say a prayer, hide hide away yea yea babys coming back.
Hey hey hey ride on the soul train now Im too close to hide,
Gonna take on the time to find out if my love is
Soul deep...

Railroad
Although I've left you darling
I'll soon be back again
That's what I said in China
Where all the work was dead
I hope you get my letters
I'll write them every day
I'll soon be heading eastwards
I'm hammering the nails
I'm working on the railroad
I dig away the time
I'm singing to the worksong
With memories in mind
I'll sail to Hong Kong harbour
The winds were warmer there
The sweat would roll down my back
While digging at the earth
While talking of you darling
I'd show your photograph
And point it over westwards
Way over past the tracks
I'm working on the railroad
I dig away the time
I'm singing to the worksong
With memories in mind
I'm working on the railroad
I dig away the time
I'm singing to the worksong
With memories in mind
Of you... of you, oh!
I've saved every penny, my girl
I hope that you have waited out there
For all my love when I get home
Cause deep down in my heart, there's a hole?
I've saved every penny, my girl
I hope that you have waited out there
For all my love when I get home
Cause deep down in my heart, there's a hole?
I've saved every penny, my girl
I hope that you have waited out there
For all my love when I get home
Cause deep down in my heart, there's a hole?
