Light of the Fire

As the daytime sun draws closer to rest
The light still lingers
The loving heat of a sun loved bliss turning cold
My heat refrained by my fire

My fire now alight
The crackle and snap of the wood so burnt
It provides my heat that the day sun will not
My friend in this increasing darkness
My companion whilst I tread upon my thoughts and memories
My item of the real world in my abundance of life

I see in my mind a many things lit by my fire
My friends the ones whom shall never judge me only love me
My partner the one who I shall always love and hope she does in return
My family particular to my cousins so young and unprepared
Waiting for me to help them through
And also my enemies the people who would hurt me and I would be happy to hurt in return
But I smile upon them, for if not for them how would I know what trust is

All my thoughts relate to a fire as for one spark and the whole thing can be burnt
But without the burning of flames ignited how would I live my Life?
Time to return now to tend my fire large it has grown such has life
Both need tending to see them continue and to keep me warm and satisfied for at least a bit longer.

I'm On Fire

Sparks are flying and I'm on fire.
I can't see through the smoke and I'm on fire.
I can't breath, I can't think
Because I'm on fire.
It hurts but it's warm and it's beautiful

You're feeding my fire
My fire of love
And I'm burning alive
And I'm loving everything about you
From how you make me feel to the flames glowing around me

But you're killing me in this heat
Can't you understand that fire is wonderful and terrible?
Can't you save me from falling further under the flames' embrace?

Can't you see I'm on fire?

Primordial

Love is throwing your heart in the burning fire
and being willing to see it come back a frozen hulk;

and doing it again
time after time.

Love requires that we set fire
to our brain,
and watch it burn
all in Love's Name
and Passion's Call.

Love is heat;
Love is fire
and we
are Mashmellows
of the Flame.

Love is time lost.
Who can remember
how long
the Loving Night?

Love seethes
with searing heat
because once lit
flames surge
and take away
our oxygen;
and we
swoon in the Euphoria.

Love is Yearning's Call
peeking from behind
the Banyon Tree;
Love's sight
peering between
the leafy leaves
fixing on figure and form
and then is lost
in a single lover's returned glance;
then
both fall down
to Soul's Depth;
most times
never to return
from that
Landscape Primordial.
Why?
Simple.
One does not interrogate The Flame
One does not expect explanations of Fire.
One does not await memos from the Heat.

Forces of Nature exist within themselves
and we are the Willing Slaves
which obey and cannot resist.

Extinguish the flame, ban the heat
and we are merely hulks
in the vestibule of existence
feeding but without life,
seeing but without sight
breathing but without heart.
Ahh
Would we have all of this any
other way?
We are always, its seems
in the cold and damp
willing to re-light the fire
feel the heat
even if there is pain.

Do Not Threaten Me With Fire My Love

do not threaten me with the fire of your body my love
for i am a man born of fire and shall die of fire
i eat fire, i bathe in fire, i swim in the deepest part of fire

i like to burn in the fire that you start
from your flicker, from the flints of your gaze
i like to see this hearth, this warmth, this conflagration
you with me burning like hell

do not threaten me with the fire of your thighs
for i eat fire, my body is fire, it is alive with its heat
my sweat are the smokes of fire
my end is the char that stays beside your legs
and tomorrow morning when i finally die
when i am put off by your power
you shall find me as burnt residues
beneath your feet

i am the offering of love to life.

Fiery Love

I stare into the fire
it signifies my desire

leaping creeping and all red flames,
fire,
and its beauty hypnotizing,
fire
and its flames uprising.
sparks showering in the night,
feeding fires of lesser might,
fire feeding on life and air,
fire that lays landscapes bare,
fire that warms the heart and soul,
fire that drives away the cold,
fire thats as hot as the heat within,
fire that seeks to erase my sin,
fire promises of days to come,
fire that will unite us as one,

and then I pray for the same desire
will sometimes too ignite your fire,
two lovers burning
consumed with flames,
the ashes of their love
ignite again and again

Fire-Time

He walked toward her
a fire-stick in his hand
and spoke softly.
'This is fire
my gift to you.

It is safety from wild animals;
heat for your food;

romance for your life;

Igniter of Passion;
The Secret Furnace
which fuels the Sun;
the Starry Blanket
which covers the night;

the Milky Way which burns
hot-blue.

The Heart's Flame
is Cobalt Fire too.

She touched his fire-stick
and felt the burn.

He grabbed her singed hand
and kissed it

saying:
Fire too
burns
human things;

Passion too
sears souls.

'But how, ' she said,
'shall I know fire which heals
from Stinging Fire which
burns my soul? '

'How can I be sure my fire
is safe fire,

that all my passions
are healing flames
and not destructive ones? '

He, said 'Fire is like touch;
go close enough to feel the warmth
but don't press too much
or the skin recoils.

Fire is like two kissing lips;
go close enough to feel the heat
but pressure too much
you chip the teeth.

Fire is like making love;
it can sweep you away
but be sure Fire's Orbit
brings you back
ensuring sure you don't get too close to the burning Sun.

When young be the bubble-bee sampling nectar,
not the moth obsessed with flames.

Use fires' heat
but regard more its light;

for Fire is both;
heat is good
light is knighted.

Fire correctly lit
is a balm of both
and allows Love and Lovers
to survive.

Fire/Burning

Burning through the forset,
Flames of orange, red and yellow,
Lick at the trees and plants,
Scorching everything in its path,
Fire.

Burning my skin,
Leaving smoke and heat,
In it's wake,
Torching my hair,
Fire

A thing of beauty,
And warmth,
But feasr it also,
For its scorching heat,
Fire.

Burning my heart,
Blood fueling the flames,
Love as its oxygen,
The Burning desire,
Fire.

Fire Is Many Things

Fire is many things,
Fire is insatiable.
Fire is everlasting,
Fire is uncontainable.

Fire is helpful,
Sometimes constructive.
Fire is harmful,
Often destructive.

Fire is passion,
Keeping hearts aflame.
Fire is romance,
Keeping love untamed.

Fire is the block of life
That tells the unknown.
Fire is forever,
Written in stone

Anger, heat,
Passion, and lust.
Every single day,
Fire is within us.

The guardian of the flames

Always there have been
something holy to me,
about flames
that comes alive suddenly.

It’s a great thing
to see flames spread
and to see yellow licking tongs,
consume wood
and to get heat, energy
and comfort from it.

At a time human existence
surely depended on
keeping the secret
of flames
and to make sure,
that the last glowing coals
do not die.

When I was a child,
my brother and me
almost burnt a hillock
and some residences down
by misadventure.

The more I tried to kill
the small fire,
that I started in the long brown winter grass,
the more the fire spread.

It’s a fact that my behind
also burnt on that occasion
from a hiding
with a old fan belt
and I learned quickly,
what the power of fire is
and how to act responsibly with matches.

Tonight I am the guardian of the flames
at the fireplace in the lounge
and I take care of the hot coals
and have to put wood on
before the fire dies.

This Fire Is Just False

With the fire about to start,
I saw up high, and there were the stars.
I put more wood in, the fire was going.
As the heat rise, so did your name,
It screamed, and scream in my head.
I sat there paralyzed,
I wanted to know why,
Why is it that your name was on my mind?
You were there, and you are there,
I can't forget you, I just can't.
I want to be next to you,
Keeping you in my arms, feeling the warmth,
Like I did in front of the fire.
As the heat rise, you were there,
As I got warm your name was there.
All I'm trying to say is,
Your name is in my head.

And I on your way,
I'll move aside, get cold,
And forget your name was there.
Because this fire is just false,
I forgive you for trying to make me love you,
But I don't deserve you.
Dear friend I must say good-bye,
Even though, I hate to lie.

The Boy with Fire in His Eyes

The boy with fire in his eyes
Stands there waiting.
It is his soul inside;
It keeps him standing.

And if ever the fire goes out,
He will freeze in the cold.
It is his heat
And all that keeps him living.

Or if it never is put to use,
It will consume him;
He will burn to the ground
His ashes left behind.

But if the fire blazes,
If kindled, kept and carried,
If the boy with fire in his eyes
Finds life inside that fire,

His fire will light the world,
Will pierce the mist,
A fire to drive the dark away
Forever and ever more.

your own

(in your youth - thats life is all about)

if you can, you live

the fire is what makes people turn and say 'oh fire'

and be caught up with

its the fire within - roiling and boiling

heats up the world - its the passion that burns through

a life that burns up - giving light and heat to others!

Devil Music

They called him 'master'...
When he came.
To take them from the comfort of their homes.

Stripped of treasures,
And their names.
With nothing they could say,
And silent broken hope!

Forced to worship,
Strange deities.
And folks who treated them
Like they were beasts.

Some tried to flee,
The increasing heat.
But many found themselves soon in defeat.
The blazing burned their feet.
And the ones who ran were chased like enemies.

This fire...
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.

The 'master'...
Desired this fire.
To burn, burn, burn
Out of control!

Morning, noon and night
They'd call him devil.
And sang the music to him that he loved.
They would dance.
And together clap their hands.
This devil music kept them in a hold!

Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.

The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.

Yes this fire,
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.

I said the fire...
It still keeps burning!
And it's blazing in a rage,
That's out of control!

The spreading flame...
Became higher.
So high it fixed in young minds,
Sold by the old!

Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.

The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.

Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Burning, burning, burrrrrnin...
Out of contrrroooool.

'ssssyesssss...

Catching Fire

Glowing embers, remnants of a world past.
Life is dying, its energy expiring fast.
The last hope for life to survive is fading out and we're stuck drowning in a sea of doubt!
-
Burnt out timber, shadows of what use to be.
Lord God! Start a fire inside me!
So many are burnout, no fire left, to our flaking ashes we cleft.
-
Someone needs to ignite the fire, bring us back to life!
Keep us alive, don't let the darkness suffocate the light:
So many of us, burnt-out, dead, and alone, We need fire in the bones!
-
We're sitting here, waiting for someone to catch fire-dying-
Sitting here warming benches, not even trying.
By our lack of faith, we condemn ourselves to die!
-
Waiting for God to move, but God has already done so.
While we're stalling, he's calling us to go!
But we're waiting for fire, that's already here, but we won't commit because of our fear.
-
Haunted by a fear of the unknown, that we can't survive.
We sit and kill, the very life we're trying to revive.
Waiting for someone else to move, with the blame on our heads, we refuse to push ahead.
-
If you don't move, and he besides you doesn't move,
Who's going to keep the fire, that runs this world, tell me who?
So I'm catching fire, hoping others catch fire with me: catching fire to set men free, are you with me?

A new day never came(Vampire)

Cover me up with a black sheet
Fire seeping through two tiny wounds
My lungs filling with a sad oxygen
Im choking on a sweet voices croon

What will love make of me
will love take its turn
whats waiting for me
what will i learn

Im burning in your medicine
im drowning in fire
drive out the rage
cold hands take me through the fire
Im fighting alive
but im so tired

Punish my soul
for wishing for a devils kiss
im lost in this deadly heat
im blinded by flames
put out my rage, return my name
im looking for morning
A new day never came

My Fire

Fire is my life, fire is my hope, fire is my everything.

Confusion, whipping, whirling never ending.
Always colder, always harder, cruel and devastating all in one.

Fire is my life, fire is my hope, fire is my everything.

Light, I need a light to keep at bay the ever darkening hour.
Searching for warmth, searching to hide, searching to survive.

Fire is my life, fire is my hope, fire is my everything.

A leaf, a twig, anything to find a way.
At last a flame, a hope to guide me from my doom.

Fire is my life, fire is my hope, fire is my everything.

The light is hungry devouring all in its path and growing in strength.
Then suddenly, goodbye mydear with a hiss the light and my salvation go out.

Fire was my life, fire was my hope, fire was my everything.

Fire on Your Finger

Fire on your finger,
Fire in your eye,
Fire in your spirit,
Fire that won’t die.

Fire in the bare bones of being,
Fire to uphold what’s right,
Fire in the heart of darkness,
Fire to fuel Love’s light.

Fire to burn but not consume,
Fire to learn and not assume,
Fire to live and give living room,
Fire to love and sing her tune.

Alan's On Fire

Go!
All my life I have been used by you
Time has come our game of love is through
Since I was born I've lived in the cold I've lived in the dark
Now I want heat now I want light igniting spark
I'm not a martyr but I am truth and you are a liar
But now my life of constant sadness goes up in the fire
I will
Be heard
And I will
Be heard
Step on me I'm here for you to see
I hope you choke as I go up in flames
I told you my problems but you never heard a word
This is the moment for once in my life I will be heard
I know there must be a better way but I don't know how
You've lied to me and you've ignored me
but you won't now
I will
Be heard
And I will
Be Heard
All my life I have been used by you
Time has come our game of love is through
A burning passion from a burning mass
reaches up for the sky
I've called you here my devoted family turn to watch me die
I'm not a martyr but I am truth and you are a liar
So now my life of constant sadness goes up in the fire
Yeah!

Shelter From The Rain

When our hearts were young
We put our hands into the flames
Felt the heat from our emotions
We had fire in our veins
All those night wed spend
Alone in your room
Though my silent thoughts
I still remember
We would use the power of love
Free our souls in endless love
We would sacrifice
Our hopes and dreams
Because without love
Our world would surely die
When our hearts were young
We never thought that
Life would change
Now the seasons go on
Oh why do we shelter from the rain
And all those nights wed spend
Alone in your room
Through my silent thoughts
I still remember
When our hearts were young
We had fire in our veins
And each time we touched
Wed melt in the flames
When our hearts were young
We knew pleasure, we knew plain
But each time we kissed
Wed burn in the flames
Feel the fire in our veins
When our hearts were young ...
